Firefox asks me if I "want to connect to:" every website, multiple times per website; to the point now its so annoying, i don't even use firefox. What can I do to correct this? Do I have a virus?
when i initially open firefox, this is what pops up. This type of thing pops up multiple time per website.

Similar pop ups come up continuously during my time on each site.
Firefox and other browsers would need access to ports 80 and 443 to work. I think you may want to enable port 80 and port 443 (when it asks) and choose '''Forever''' or at least '''Until Quit''' for a smoother experience. If you believe you downloaded Firefox from a safe site like mozilla.org and your PC is safe (like, there is no other rogue app that can hijack Firefox) then there shouldn't be cause for concern to give it '''Forever''' exception on ports 80 and 443.

This may happen if Firefox was updated, because the old signature or hash stored by the security application for Firefox would change. This may also mean that the previous version of Firefox already had unhindered access.

What format are these problem tracks in? If they are MP3's, trying running them through the MP3 Validator utility to have it fix any missing or corrupted track data.

you have incompatible software: start in SafeMode, read Woodmeister and see if it is free of issues.
Akamai is crap software needed or not, Huawei the same.
It is very possible that the keygenerator you used for generating a key for some softwares has infected your mac.
The non-regular software with the false key(s) are not compatible probably or generate malware. Luckily you can not update them automatically because the keygenerator blocked the software for contacting the developer... I propose to consider getting rid of those softwares by really good uninstalling.
You have a beautiful mac, don't degenerate it with crapped software. There are alternatives for expensive software, for example Adobe Photoshop has a free alternative (with a less beautiful interface) in GIMP. And so on.

Since the last automatic update (approx. one week ago) my Firefox has been running slow as molasses and I keep getting a "refresh" box popping up when the pages get hung up (very often)
What can I do to correct this? I clean my cache out at least once daily - most days more. This issue is with Netflix upgrade. I spoke to Netflix and here is the solution. Remove Netflix app from Ipad and reload the app version 5.0.1. This updated version will correct the problem.

Please check the Page Display preferences (File > Preferences/Acrobat > Preferences) and make sure that Show Large Images is selected. If sounds as though this PDF may have been created from a scanned document, and this preference is disabled.

I have over 2000 tunes in my ITunes library but I cannot use most of them because their "Original files" cannot be found. What can I do to correct this ?
This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout, or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes.

What can I do to correct this error: The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes. I have reinstalled several times but it hasn't changed this error message. Why am I able to burn a CD using Media Player but not iTunes? I am using Windows XP and I have burned cds from iTunes in the past.

What do you mean? Your only way to unlock that phone is to have had 40 days continuous service with T-Mobile and then process the unlock through them. If you had an account with T-Mobile you should be able to login and process your unlock. If you did not you can click on the chat program but they are going to tell you the same thing.

I am trying to get the artwork for an album. "Artwork Not Modifiable" appears in the artwork box and it doesn't let me drag artwork. What can I do to fix this?
Words simply can't describe what a kludge iTunes has become. Every time Apple fixes one problem, a dozen more pop up. It's like trying to hold a bunch of ping-pong balls under water simultaneously.
The immediate problem is that Lion with iTunes buggers the artwork. Some it loses, some it can't find, and some appears and disappears like the Flying Dutchman (look it up...).
The bigger issue is that so MUCH of iTunes is bad, in general. Apple trys to use iTunes as a Swiss Army knife, using it to synch iPhones, iPads, etc. The app has become so generic that it is actually good at nothing.
The interfrace is kludgy; moving the library from one location to another virtually guarantees a wasted day and usually lost art, music, or backups.
In general, Apple's hardware and software is relatively ergonomically designed. I-Tunes, however just plain SUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS! -
I have songs in Itunes that at one time synced to my ipod. Now some do and some don't even if their box is checked. I also have the latest Itunes software.
I can still play them in Itunes but some won't sync to Ipod and I don't know why.Hey pooleking,

Can anyone tell me some of the leading "Font texture" programs? I'm talking about the plug-ins or programs that would take your text and apply cool textures to it. And not just a silly one, but a leading industry one. We used one in college, but for
