Firefox dose not refresh while ie refreshes the JSP page
Hiii,
I think I am in a little tricky situation here and need for your advice,
here is the situation...
I have a small .jsp page that contains a little jsp code and a little html code ...
the main function of the jsp part is the adjust the "refresh content" destination...
this is the code ..

this code works fine in ie,
ie, refreshes the page and decide where to go ...
however firefox (and mozilla, may be netscape too) .. dose not refreh .. so the page stays...
actually they are porbably refreshing but it seems that they are not running jsp again and again ..
where is the problem ? ..
How should I solve this problem ...

actually it makes sense but It is not working..
event if I adject the refresh path like,
<meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="10; url=http://www.yahoo.com/<%=request.getContextPath()%>/<%=lang%>/event/Proposal/<%=toGo%>">
it is not reporting an error... .. (page not found :) ) .... but it refreshes... I mean If I change the content of the html part, I get the changes from browser.. but the page is still there..

Values on the jsp page not loading after refresh
Hi All,
I have a problem in getting the values back onto the jsp page after a refresh. After the first refresh i get null values.
Let me know what i should use: is it 1. request 2. application or 3. session scope? I have to keep my application running for ever (as long as the server is running) refreshing every 3 minutes. So i used application scope but in vain.
Also i am using requestDispatcher and forwarding the req,res. I came to know that this method has some problems if we use request attributes. Do i need to use a send.Redirect instead?
Let me know the correct procedure.

try using sendRedirect with URL rewriting:
for eg .
response.sendRedirect("/myPage.jsp?id="+idValue+"");
and access id on page submit.
as
request.getParameter("id");
This should work .

Firefox does not start by clicking on the icon in RHEL 5.
Firefox does not start by clicking on the icon in RHEL 5 on thin clients, also the internet proxy server usename is not accepted for java applets on webpages. However while using Firefox on the servers directly everthing works fine. This issue occurs on a server thin client environment, where the home directories are located on a 5 TB storage connected using SAS cables to the servers.
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

I just got the new itunes and I can open itunes and see my music but whenI try and go to the itunes store it just loads to a white page. I try and refresh and go to the home page and nothing happens. I can sign into my account and the tabs for the itunes store pop up like they normally would when browsing the itunes store but when I click on one of them, it is a blank page. Credit Check is not working while creation of the delivery
Hi,
Credit check is not performing while creation of the delivery.
As per current settings, there is no credit check at SO level. Ideally, system should show an error message while creation of the delivery if credit limit of the customer is exceeds.
Below is the current OVA8 setting for Delivery group 02.
It was working fine till last week, but due to some unknown changes in customization or master data, same is not working now.
Could you please check below settings and suggest if any setting is wrong?You talking about the reaction field D am talking about beside to reaction field that is status/Block(check) .
Status/Block(tick) is used to block the document.
Where as you reaction field is used to give the either warning or error message based input you are giving
A and C gives warning message and allow to save the document.
B and D gives error message and will not allow to proceed further
Please check this and try system will block the delivery.

I have been a happy user of Firefox for many years. Around last April first I opened Firefox and was offered an update to v 4.42.0.0 which I accepted. Installation seemingly went well. I forget now exactly what happened but the result has been that ever since April 1 I haven’t been able to open the Firefox browser when clicking on the Firefox icon. My computer now was running very slowly. I tried to uninstall Firefox, but a popup told me I couldn’t because Firefox was in use. This confused me because I couldn’t see it being used. Only now I have found that on Task Manager processes that “firefox.exe” was consuming 99 % of the CPU. After removing firefox.exe by clicking End Process my computer ran better. I uninstalled Firefox I had on my computer and installed Firefox 5.0. Unfortunately I have the same problems: Firefox does not open when clicking on the icon, the firefox.exe process consumes 99 % of the CPU and my computer runs slowly.

I was unable to start in safe mode initially. The second time I disabled all of the Add-Ons and she started up just fine. I enabled them one by one hoping to track down the culprit but the problem seems to have gone away.
BTW I am running ver. 3.6.8 (in response to cor-el's earlier post) and
Firefox is in the process of downloading 3.6.10 (which I am starting to think may have been what caused this whole problem to begin with)
Incidentally, whats up with all of the Java Console Add Ons?
I have:
Java Console 6.0.11, Java Console 6.0.13, Java Console 6.0.15
Java Console 6.0.17, Java Console 6.0.20, and Java Console 6.0.21
What are they? Do I need them? Can I uninstall them? Is this due to using Open Office?
Also, .NET Framework 0.0.0 Should I uninstall it? -

DetailsSorry, I should distinguish between slow loading and manual reloading.
I understood your problem to be that Firefox never finished loading the page, i.e., some part of the page was loading too slowly.
By reloading, I meant Ctrl+r (or the reload button), to manually reload the page. You can disregard any cached files and reload all content fresh from the server by adding the Shift key, i.e., Ctrl+Shift+r (helpful when specific sites do not load correctly).
If the page is automatically reloading itself over and over, that sounds like a completely different problem. -
This sentence (in french version) "le fichier ne commence pas par '%PDF-'" appears when I try to open some (not all, mainly bigger than 1Mo) PDF files within Firefox (does not happen when I download the file)

If I am viewing a page with the words date or match, the words are hyperlinks to a dating website. This is not so if I view the same pages in IE and has not been picked up by Norton, Spybot or malware bytes etc. Is this a Firefox bug?
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />

I can not open new tabe in the same page
i can not open new tabe im the same page
when i click on new tabe , it donsnt open at allUninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
* Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
* Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons
