Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Private Browsing mode.

* In [[Private Browsing]] mode all cookies are session cookies that expire if that session is ended, so websites won't remember you.
* Do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

If I am browsing on site such as Ebay or any shopping site and click on an item, when I return to the search page I am once again at the top of the page and have to search down for where I was in the list of items. This is not only on Ebay it is everywhere I search. Firefox goes back to the top of the page . It is annoying to have to figure out exactly where I was if I left the page and then returned. This is a hinderance when using Firefox. I have considered uninstalling it because of the inconvenience of 're-searching' after already doing a search. Firefox used to take me right back to where I was if I left a page, but that feature is not working now. I am not sure how to change this in the settings.

Type or copy paste the following:

Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test. -
When I return to the main browsing page after checking a site it would be great if the last place I checked would highlight on the main browsing page or have an indicator of some sort to let me know.
When returning to the Browsing page it is difficult to remember which link I clicked on and have to guess or start over again so can someone let me know how to do this if it can be done?
Can't remember but I think that you can do this with Internet Explorer.
Thank you.I am not sure exactly what you are trying to do but firefox calls favorites bookmarks, and has a variety of methods of making, sorting and displaying these, it also stores your 'history' and lets you see that or use it in the location bar search.

For Boot Camp, if you save a file when you are on the Windows side, when you return to the Mac side, can you see the file or can it only be "seen" on the operating side you create it in?
Why don't you (generic most every post lacks critical details) be clear and say you never used Mac OS etc.

Excel is one of those rare programs that, if they are extremely large complex spreadsheets still tend to run better under Office for Windows.
A VM won't do for that but it does make it easier to transition. As in: install Windows natively, then use VMware Fusion or Parallels to attach to the partition and OS. That way you can run Windows as Guest OS VM under Mac; and still run Windows natively dual-boot when needed.
The word "see" was not what you wanted, was it? really? you want to open and make changes and keep it on Windows side rather than Save As or copy to Mac

Formerly I could download YouTube videos by double clicking the largest size page element in the Safari activity window address column . Now in V 5.0.5 page elements are not shown, just the page title, and under that "about:blank". Also, the activity window used to show sequential activity and now each new page replaces the last. How can I change (or select) what is being being used when I share, as the file cover. When I Share lets say "Master File" i want to select a frame that is used as the file cover. So when its on my desktop I see this image as the file icon.
I don't think Finder does this (I've tried).
iTunes does though. Where you can set artwork or the "poster frame"...
This may not be what you want but if it helps, I know 2 ways do this is
Open the video in QuicktimePlayer7 | View | Set Poster Frame (even then, you might need to save it as .mov (ie in a 'mov container').
Drag the file into iTunes and set the artwork (as in http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/adding-album-cover-art-or-images-in-itunes .html)
From there, iTunes will use that frame as the "poster frame" ie the photo/frame that shows when you browse your videos. Which is what you want, but limited to iTunes.
When I do either of these above, the frame I set does not show when exploring files in "Finder" (or in the other Explorer tool I use called "Pathfinder").
So it maybe, that exactly what you want, is not possible. -

Why? Because of something you are doing wrong - however unless you actually tell us what you are doing - and what version of iPhoto you have - and any other detail that might help no one can even gess.
Exactly how are you exporting? Are the photos successfully exported to the desktop? How are you moving to the CD? why do you think they are not there?

You should be able to go > App Store > App store (menu) > store > view my account > sign in. Where do you vary after following this point. In between ID summary and Settings should be a section marked iTunes in the cloud and directly below but within that section, the message we are seeking.

ok, i am not terribly familiar with the program premiere elements 12 as of yet, i am having some difficulty at times, current issues...when in play mode, the timeline marker? hiccups backwards then forward as it plays, some of my image clips freeze and don't play while the marker keeps going, this also happens when on full screen mode...what do i need to do to correct this problem...currently i am working this on my mackbook 2009. thankyou for your reply.

I recently when to England. When I returned to the US, my iPhone 5 wouldn't find the 4G network. I've tried restoring network settings, I've tried hard resets. I had "do not disturb" on in England. I did take it off airplane mode periodically, but I never actually used the network. I stuck to local wifi to do brousing and a bit of messaging. It periodically told me I was on an English network, but I didn't actually use it. And I had data roaming shut off all together.

Are the fonts that are available to me when I am using the free trial of InDesign less than when I use the purchased version of InDesign?
Try to find out: When you install the Creative Cloud Desktop app, Click Assets, then click Fonts. Click Add Fonts from Typekit. If you can do that, you're in. Of course, you won't be able to use them more than 30 days unless you subscribe. (But fonts embedded in a PDF or EPUB file would be fine.)
Those of us who are CC subscribers cannot test this out easily.
