Firefox lets table overflow instead of breaking words at soft hyphens
On http://www.idea.int/vt/country_view.cfm?id=2 , the table overflows into the right column because of long table headings. I inserted soft hyphens into them to help the browsers break the headings when needed. This seems to work in IE 8 and Google Chrome but not in Firefox.
Yeah, same thing on my end. It seems like it's a difference of attitude in terms of implementing the standards. You should file a bug at [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org bugzilla] and let the devs know about this. See if it hasn't been file already. Remember that bugzilla is for bug work, not discussions or complaints.

Table Overflow - Page Break - Multiple tables in Body page in Adobe forms
Hi,
I have to do a payslip in Adobe forms. I am using only Adobe for print forms.
Please redirect me to correct category if this is wrong category.
I am customizing standard form PYXXFO_SAP_PAYSLIP_IN01. (payslip for india through hrforms)
The standard form is entirely positional. So, if the contents of the table overflow, they are overwritten on the contents below.
So, I have to make corrections to adjust the payslip for table overflows.
My changes:
1. There are total 8 tables in form. I created content areas for each of them and assigned the subforms/tables to those content areas.
2. I converted the body page from positional to flowed, and applied the related pagebreak settings.
The problem I am facing:
When the earnings table overflows, the rest of the content is displayed on second page, in a continuous manner.
eg.
The structure of the form is:
Header details
earnings table deductions table form16 table
Other tables
leave details
now, if the earnings table overflows -
page 1:
Header details
earnings table (page break)
Page2:
(continued)earnings table
page3:
(continued)earnings table deductions table form16 table
Other tables
leave details
In this, the deduction table and form16 table is shown on 3rd page. I wish to show them on the first page as they have not overflown.
I am sure, I am missing something very small, but I am unable to understand what.
I tried all the possible combinations.
Does the main subform needs to be "positional"?
They way I expect it is:
page 1:
Header details
earnings table (page break) deductions table form16 table
Other tables
leave details
Page2:
{Header details - It would be great if I could have this}
(continued)earnings table
page3:
{Header details}
(continued)earnings table
Also, If this is successful, I would like to apply the same feature to rest 6-7 tables.

Kindly remove this thread if possible.
The solution for this thread is as follows:
I was sort of hoping that there should be some standard functionality available for this, it being Adobe, but there is not.
So, I had to run a work around. Quite a lengthy one.
What the problem was:
I needed to print around 4-5 tables adjacent to each other in single page and in verticals. What Adobe does is: it fills 1st table, then 2nd then 3rd and so on. So, if there is a page break due to large entries in the adobe, the contents breaks with rest of the tables being blank, but the content being filled sequentially.
What I did was:
I created a grand table with the structure having all the tables embedded in it. eg.
data: begin of grand_table occrs 0,
table_A type table_a_table_type,
table_B type table_b_table_type,
table_c type table_c_table_type,
end of grand_table.
Hence, I could include all the data in a one single grand table, and put the data in sequential manner. -
How can I teach iPad2 to recognize my name instead of breaking it into two words?
How can I teach iPad2 mail to recognize my name instead of breaking it into two words or changing it into something completely different? I am not Britain or Brit a.
Everyone say this, and it is simply not true. I just filled a page in Notes with 'for', fighting my iDumbPad from replacing it with 'fir'. A whole page and it learned NOTHING! How many times do you think I use 'for' in a day on three devices?

Problem entering values in table after creating it in Word using OLE2
Hi,
I want to create a Word document from a Oracle Forms 6i application. The document will have standard text followed by a table. The cells of this table are to be populated from fields in the Forms application.
I have created a sample code below. When executed from within the Forms application, it creates a document fine. It writes the text "Hello World". It then creates a table as expected. But when I try to enter a value "Cell Value" in the table, the value does not get written to the cell of the table. Instead it writes the value outside the table.
Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong here and what I need to do so that after writing the text on the document I can write values into the table also.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Here is the code(it works but then it doesn't ):

END;Once again thanks for the help John. Unfortunately I cannot use only bookmarks, because the text to be entered from the application is of undetermined length and therefore since the possibility of wrapping exists, it would not be able to give me the same formatting abilty as using a table.
However, the good news is that I have been able to find the solution. I am posting my code here so that it is available to anyone else who might have the same issue. Thanks again.
Here is my code and my comments in it explain what it does.
PROCEDURE extract_to_word
IS
/* First of all I would like to acknowledge the help I have got from experts who have posted a lot of this code on the web which I have used here. Special thanks go to someone by the name of sfvb
found here http://www.tek-tips.com/userinfo.cfm?member=sfvbsfvb
This procedure does the following:
1. Opens a word document.
2. Creates a header and pastes a picture in the header e.g your company logo with address. Please note that the image should have both the address and the logo in it. It can be created using paint where you can write your address at one end and paste a bmp or jpg picture of your logo at the other end.
3. Writes text with specified font and size. It calls a separate procedure PRINT_LINE to do this.
4. Creates a table on the document with specified number of columns with fixed width.
5. Populates the cells of the table-
first with headers written by calls to WRITE_HEADINGS procedure.
next with data from a block of the Forms application by calls to WRITE_DATA procedure
6. Comes out of the table and continues to write text.
The three procedures that are repeatedly called are described after the end of this procedure.
Note: While I have made every attempt to ensure that the code does not generate error on account of my writing the explanatory notes, I cannot be sure of having made some typos. If the code does not compile, it is most probably be on account of something I have missed in entering the comments and explanation.

IDOC Receiver Adapter, getting Lock Table Overflow to CRM System
Hello SDN!!!
This scenario is for PI to process a file and send to CRM via IDOC. The IDOCu2019s are only being created and not processed until later.
Problem: I am getting a Lock Table Overflow error in method IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS via sm58 in PI which points to the CRM box.
I have been searching many forums and every solution seems to indicate increasing the lock table, the problem with that solution is we are currently trying to create (not process yet) 80000 IDOCu2019s. This would allocate too much for the lock table.
So my question is this, Shouldnu2019t the lock be released when the IDOC gets created or none the less when a packet of IDOCu2019s via content management (breaking up the file in 1000 increments) finish. The lock table in CRM keeps increasing until all rows from the file, sent via IDOC adapter in 80 messages with 1000 IDOCu2019s per messagein the table are complete (80 separate messages in sxmb_moni).
Background:
IDOC was imported, changed to include unbounded and reimported.
Content Management breaks the file into 80 different segments, thus creating 80 distinct mappings with distinct MessageIdu2019s.
80 IDOC packets are sent to CRM, via IDOC adapter and sm58.
TCODE sm12 in CRM shows the table to keep growing and locks not released until full message is complete.
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers
DevlinThe only way to process the IDOCs in this case is by increasing the "enque/table_size" parameter in order to create the required IDOCs. You can increase the value for this parameter up to 102400 (beyond that can cause performance issues). Since you need to handle 80000, this shouldn't be an issue.

pre div style="word-wrap:break-word" long text /div /pre doesn't force wrap
<pre><div style="word-wrap:break-word">long text</div></pre> works in IE9 but not FireFox 31. Actual returns do wrap text but the text of long paragraphs extends outside the <div>, despite the word-wrap:break-word style. Maybe I'm expecting too much interpretation from <pre>? But I am thinking if IE can handle this, perhaps FireFox could too?

Lock table overflow
Diagnosis
This table overflowed when trying to enter SAP locks in the lock table.

Contact your system administrator. If this error occurs frequently, change the size of the profile parameter 'enque/table_size'. This parameter defines the size of the lock table in KByte
Request you kindly reply in this regard.

Have you implemented any note for this problem or adjusted the table parameters.I am also facing the same problem.Could you please let me know if there is any note which needs to be implemented.

In the Table Overflow can we change show link to + sign?
In the Table Overflow can we change show link to + sign?
I asked about this awhile ago on this form,
Removing the words 'Show'/'Hide' from table detail disclosure
Changing this is a ADF Faces skinning issue, so the JDeveloper forum would be your best best. I've always wanted to implement this, but I have never got around to it -
Firefox is adding advertising links to certain words on my website cornish-surfing.co.uk, and when I open a new tab an additional window opens with unwanted sites.
1. How can I stop these things from happening?
2. Why is it happening?
These things only happen when I’m using the Firefox browser. I use Sophos antivirus and firewall and the scans indicate my system is clean. So I’m assuming that it’s built into Firefox or there’s a security flaw with Firefox.
Can you let me know which and how I can stop it from happening?
Graham Jappéhello, this sounds like a problem possibly caused by adware on your pc (certainly nothing that is shipping with a plain official firefox build).
please go to ''firefox > addons > extensions'' & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] & [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner].

Hi All,
In an enhancement, I have to look-up a R/3 table.
For this I wrote select query and getting data into internal table.
Here, when executing select query, a runtime error occurred saying that internal table overflow is happening...because of huge data...
How to overcome, this overflow.. with out increasing the size of internal table ?Hi,
make also sure to define and select only the fields you need in your internal table.
Don't use
DATA: it_mat TYPE TABLE OF mara.
if you need only MATNR, MTART and MATKL (just for example).

802.1x partial authentication and Association Table Overflows
We're rolling out 5508's/3600's/ISE's/MSE's, using existing NCS's. using dot1x (machine certs EAP/TLS MS laptops) on one SSID, 2 x other SSID's have open auth.
MSE is flagging Association Table Overflows on loads of WAPS, reseller TAC case tells me its .1x and misconfigured clients
half authing causing this (not uncommon problem apparently), however my desktop support colleagues ideally need at least a mac
address to identify a misconfigured device (if not more)
Been debugging dot1x on the 5508's and looking at MSE/WAP forensic wireshark files created on the Association Table overflow rule, but nothing leaps out immediately for the offending devices
What would be the quickest way to individually identify these devices that are filling the WAP association tables ??
(Can specific WAP Association tables be viewed with controller based WAPS's ???? )
Anyone solved similar ??
thanks
MartynSolution
After some too-ing- and fro-ing with TAC eventually got an answer of
"As it can be false positive in our case."
