Firefox will not show any site and displays "error code 500 internal server error". Nothing was changed and it used to work just fine. IE works fine, Thunderbird works fine. Complete uninstall and reinstall did nothing.
Comcast cable connected via wifi. If I use a different wifi network this does not happen. What setting would cause this and how that setting would be changed automatically without me doing it. av is macaffee

Firefox will not open ANY site. It worked last night, but not today. I uninstalled it many times, didn't worked. It displays the screen that says "unable to connect" yet chrome and explorer both work. I have disconnected and reconnected a few times, restarted my laptop, neither of those worked either. I have also tried turning "safe mode" off after re installing firefox, but again, that did not work. I need help :(.
Although, before this, firefox was not letting me use voice recording sites or any site that let me watch television online. It would load the commercials, but not play the episode. It wouldn't even let me upload pictures to photobucket. However, it worked using chrome or explorer.Looks like a bunch of people have this problem. Anyone got any ideas to fix this???

I can open and run FireFox by a variety of methods, and do not need to have any firefox: folders, files, or shortcuts on my Desktop unless I so wish.
I suspect you have a rather none standard installation. The quickest solution may well be to uninstall FireFox ( which you have presumably not been able to use anyway) and reinstall it. I would suggest; at least initially; you just use the standard default installation you are offered.
You will probably find this page of use, the [http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/3.6.13/releasenotes/ Release Notes], it includes links for downloading FireFox, and has advice and information about installing and downloading.
I am sure you will have further questions when you try to install but click on the blue link above and look at that page and then post back again and I am sure someone will try to help you.
I am assuming that you are already on the Internet with a browser such as Internet Explorer, and a broadband connection, or are you trying to install from a CD or something that has a FireFox install file on it. (if so what are you using, and what is the version of firefox) -
Flash player was not working.
Started process to re-install.
Un-installed old player as suggested.
Now cannot open any sites, so cannot download new player.

I had numerous items int the downloads window. I clicked clear list and it did. Now when I download something, it flashes for just a second in the downloads window and then disapears. My bookmarks toolbar in Firefox 10.0.2 Mac OSX 10.6.8 suddenly disappeared. View>Toolbars>Bookmarks Toolbar is checked. Dragging URL's to the bookmarks toolbar area no longer works. The gray area appears and disappears when checking/unchecking under View/Toolbars menu, but will not show any or accept addition of bookmarks.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"

*Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar

Try and closing the app (app store in this case) and switch it back on and then download. If it still doesn't work, then give the IPad a rest and try again later.

Firefox will not load any web page, other programs will. Continuously "connecting"
Firefox will not load any pages, but Google Chrome will. Firefox will 'load' the home page, but with any other site, the tab will continuously circle and say "connecting". I have tried clearing my cache, starting in safe mode, and restarting my computer. So far, nothing is working.
Update..when I open firefox from scratch, the main firefox pages on the home page seem to work. But as soon as I try to go anywhere else, IE going to a website in the address bar or even trying to access the defauly bookmark links, it just sits there loading but never brings anything up.
