First row is repeting while accessing multiple rows through Database adapte

Hi,
Iam using Database adapter in BPEL process to retrive the data from remote database.In Database adapter i have selected select operation and passing input parameter.
Actually that adapter needs to return 10 different rows though output variable of that adapter.
Its returing 10 rows but the first row is repeting 10 times.
Iam not able to get 10 rows.only first row is repeting.
Please help me in this.
Thanks in Advance

Hi Arik,
I got the solution.The problem is primary key only.
Your solution correct.
Thank u very much for answering this question quickly.
I have changed the primary key its working fine.
Could u please explain me what is the problem with primay key exactly.
Thanks in advance,

  • Access to package through database adapter in Soa suite problems

    Hi,
    We have to build a bpel process that inserts data in Oracle EBS custom tables. We have to use Soa suite 10.1.3.4.0.
    In Oracle EBS we have made a custom api with a pl/sql record and 2 pl/sql tables as argument.
    When i made a database adapter, Jdeveloper made a wrapper package to translate to this custom api.
    Under the user apps this works fine.
    But I have the following problem: Our customer does not want us to connect to apps schema direct.
    So we made another user that is granted to the custom api , the wrapper api and the types for the wrapper api.
    I even created public synonyms for all these objects.
    But still runtime in BPEL console these errors occurs:
    An error occurred while preparing and executing the APPS.XXEPF_BPEL_VERWERK_ASSIGNMENT.XXEPF_INHUUR_ASS_BERICHT_PKG$ API. Cause: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:

    Are the types defined in the same way in both schema's?
    Vaguely remember that there was some restriction to use DB and EBS adapter that types had to be owned by the schema that was connecting to it. Please check the docs for this.

  • Problem while reading multiple files through FTP Adapter

    Hi,
    We have a requirement to read the excel files placed in an FTP Location and as there is no Adapter to read Excel file
    we are using FTP Adapter and reading the Header values of the file(name of the
    file) and we are paasing as input to the Java code which will read the data nd insert into the Database.
    If we place above 20 files it was reading only some files and some were left and if we delete the files and place the unread files again some files are read and if we do the same procedure then all the files were read.
    Any help regaring this appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Nagaraju .D

    Are you doing anything complex for your polling, e.g. Files that must be n time old.
    Can you post the WSDL so I can see the polling configuration. I only need to see the adapter configuration, not the whole file.
    cheers

  • Error while accessing Oracle DB through IS

    Hi All,
    I am facing an issue while accessing any of the database in Oracle. It has successfully created the connection in IS but it throws SQL Syntax error when I try to access that. Can anybody help me who have faced the similar issue? Appreciate the help. I am using Oracle 11g.
    Thanks,
    MS Ansari

    Hi Ansari,
    Have you tried to access the same database through Data Services in IS Server? If not, try to create DataStore to connect the database and create a test ETL job to read data from the table.
    If you already have Profiler configuration setup, try to do profiling a table (from this database) in DS, let see how it works. If you not find any issue here, then there will be problem in IS side.
    Thanks,

    Hi All,

    When trying to access the object from the local machine using the schema name.object_name it works fine:

    You have two schema.
    apps
    billing
    both reside in remote database.
    there on procedure and on procedure u create one synonym and u want to access it.
    ur remote database name is "map1"
    on ur local database ur create one dblink to access remote database.
    ORA-04043: object string does not exist
    Cause: An object name was specified that was not recognized by the system. There are several possible causes:
    - An invalid name for a table, view, sequence, procedure, function, package, or package body was entered. Since the system could not recognize the invalid name, it responded with the message that the named object does not exist.
    - An attempt was made to rename an index or a cluster, or some other object that cannot be renamed.
    Action: Check the spelling of the named object and rerun the code. (Valid names of tables, views, functions, etc. can be listed by querying the data dictionary.)

  • Error while invoking custom API using Database Adapter

    Hi,
    I've a requirement where in I need to fetch the data returned by a recordtype of a custom API. I've implemented this by invoking the custom API using Database Adapter. I'm facing a problem while performing this.
    The custom API holds the signature as:
    PROCEDURE EMP_DET
    Argument Name Type      In/Out Default?
    P_DEPTNO NUMBER IN
    L_LINE_TBL TABLE OF RECORD OUT
    I've a schema with which it needs to be validated. It looks like:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
    <schema xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:po="http://www.mycompany.com/ns/sales" targetNamespace="http://www.mycompany.com/ns/sales" elementFormDefault="qualified">

    I did a transformation to the above stated Emp.xsd with the xsd created for my custom API by the BPEL process. I could create the process and deploy successfully, but while invoking I get the following error. (I'm using BPM 10.1.3.1 with JDev 10.1.3.1)

    the schema owner which youre using in your jca to connect with the db got all the privileges for this object?
    when you connect with the schema owner in which the object itself also exists, does it work in that case?

  • Insert Multiple records using Database adapter with Stored procedure func

    Hi All,
    I want to insert multiple records on a database using a stored procedure. I wanted to insert those records using a Database Adapter and the Database adapter should be invoked by a Mediator.
    Can somebody suggest me with ideas whether it can be acheived with OOB capabtilities in SOA suite or not?
    Thanks for your help in advance.
    Thanks,
    Shiv

    The use case you want to achieve is feature supported by the DBAdapter and it is possible to invoke the same from mediator.
    Please have a look at the oracle documentation and you should be able to get the necessary information.
    The below links should help you as well:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/integration.1111/e10231/adptr_db.htm
    http://blogs.oracle.com/ajaysharma/2011/03/using_file_adapter_database_adapter_and_mediator_component_in_soa_11g.html
    There are some video tutorials as well :)

  • IlleagalAurgumentException while selecting  multiple rows in  a table

    hi
    i am facing the problem with the adfTable selection.when i select more number of rows or selecting the rows fastly some time key set becomes null and also giving IlleagalAurgument Exception. i am giving the code i am using below
    List tableData=(List)table1.getValue();
    Iterator it=table1.getSelectedRowKeys().iterator();
    while(it.hasNext()) {
    Integer keyStr =(Integer) it.next();
    System.out.println(" selected key ===="+keyStr);
    if(keyStr!=null)
    selectedList.add((FinalCurriculumStrands)tableData.get(keyStr));
    keystr should not become null when there are selected rows.but it is coming as null.because keystr is null i am unable recover selected rows.please give me the solution.

  • RFC2JDBC scenario error while inserting multiple rows because of constraint

    Hello,
    We have a RFC2JDBC scenario,
    in RFC, we have internal tables, after mapping xml looks like;
    - <ns1:masterData>
      + <Statement>
      + <Statement>
      + <Statement>
    </ns1:masterData>
    in addition to these, I insert the records in mssql DB and one of the table column have a constraint .
    The problem occurs here, if one of the records have errors because of the constraint, the other records dont be processed or valid Statements can not run.
    For example;
    1.  <Statement> (valid sql)
    2.  <Statement> (Have errors because of constraint)
    3.  <Statement> (valid sql)
    My first statement is inserted into table .  2. and 3. statement is not inserted. And the PI XML message generates an error Which is a DeliveryException.
    I expect a result like;
    <Statement_response>
      <update_count>0</update_count>
      <insert_count>1</insert_count>
    </Statement_response>
    <Statement_response>
      <update_count>0</update_count>
      <insert_count>0</insert_count>
    </Statement_response>
    <Statement_response>
      <update_count>0</update_count>
      <insert_count>1</insert_count>
    </Statement_response>
    First and Third Statment are inserted and Second is not..
    How can I do this?
    Thanks for your help..

    Hi VijayaShankar, thank you for your answer..
    I am trying to apply your solution to my problem.
    One point, I couldnt pass..
    In your Article, you use an IDOC interface, and there is no problem while creating Mapping Template.
    But in my scenario, I am using RFC as a source message. And I couldnt create message template because, RFC has no
    type. it is expected complex type but my imported RFC interface has no type. So I couldnt create Message Interface..
    if there is a way to solve this, let me know..
    Hasan.

  • Accessing Multiple rows of the same name.

    If I have an XML Document which looks like this:
    <content nr="1">
         <text> Text of the first Content item </text>
         <othertext> blahblah </othertext>
         <attribute1 foo="bar"/>
    </content>
    <content nr="2">
         <text> Text of the second Content item </text>
         <othertext> blahblah </othertext>
         <attribute1 foo="bar"/>
    </content>
    <content nr="3">
         <text> Text of the third Content item </text>
         <othertext> blahblah </othertext>
         <attribute1 foo="bar"/>
    </content>
    And I want to create a website that automatically displays the contents of <text></text> of all the <content> items, how do I do that? (I dont want to do it manually because it should work independent of how many content items there are)
    If I bind
    var testData= new Spry.Data.XMLDataSet("testing.xml", "content/text");
    and then use
    <div spry:region="testData">{testData::text}</div>
    I just get the Content of the first item. ("Text of the first Content item").
    It seems to be pretty easy to do it right, but I just dont get it.
    EDIT: What I forgot: merely using something such as "spry:repeat" wont be enough, because I need to access only a number of these content items (I plan on displaying them over several pages, so I'l just display a few, save the others for the next page)

    IMHO, the easiest way is to differentiate the records by adding an identifyer to the record e.g.
    <content nr="1">
         <text> Text of the first Content item </text>
         <page>1</page>
         <othertext> blahblah </othertext>
         <attribute1 foo="bar"/>
    </content>
    <content nr="2">
         <text> Text of the second Content item </text>
         <page>1</page>
         <othertext> blahblah </othertext>
         <attribute1 foo="bar"/>
    </content>
    <content nr="3">
         <text> Text of the third Content item </text>
         <page>2</page>
         <othertext> blahblah </othertext>
         <attribute1 foo="bar"/>
    </content>
    Then use Spry:repeat with a Spry:test to obtain the records that you want to use.
    Another way is to Spry:test the required content numbers
    I hope this helps.
    Ben
