Fixed div that floats right works fine in IE but floats left in other browsers

I have a div that I want to float right and have remain in that position as a user strolls down the screen. I set the position to fixed which works fine in IE8 but when I view it in other browsers (chrome, safari, firefox) the div does stay in position but it floats to the left.
I believe it's just a simple setting that I'm not familiar with.

You can't float a fixed division. Use margins instead.

You can try using this tool to first remove all traces of Reader from your computer:

Then, you can download the full offline Reader installer from

After downloading, restart your computer and run the installer before doing anything else.

IE 11 is crashing running a scenario whereas its working fine on earlier versions of IE and other browsers

we have A CRM application having some customer related scenarios, like create customer, accounts,address etc.
while, when we browse through the Create Customer scenario from lets say, page1 to page2 the browser is getting crashed.
the same scenario is working fine in all earlier versions of IE and other browsers like chorome.

There are some symbol file errors in the analyzed result, please upload the dump file to a public location such as OneDrive, then paste the dowload link here.
Meanwhile, what about other webpages? please test whether this issue happens in other IE 11 or similiar systems, check whether this is a common issue or a specific issue.
Keep latest Windows Updates especially for IE updates.
Test IE in no add-ons mode, if issue disappears, then it could be cauesd by an incompatible add-on

I have 4 e-mail accounts and I always relied on Firefox because I just love it. All of a sudden, a few hours ago, all my accounts have become inaccessible on Firefox. When I tried to login I was received with a window entitled "Firefox - Choose User Profile" giving one of 2 choices "default - (13 digits)" and "default - (13 others digits)". None of them is known to me and no explanations were given as to what would happen if I choose the one or the other. My blind choice gave me a horrific experience: I have become totally unknown to Firefox and all my data is gone!

First, calm down. No need to throw a rampage. Go to options > Security: Under passwords make sure remember passwords is checked. If it is go to saved passwords, find the websites in question delete them and then re-enter your login info. It seems that another Firefox profile has been created on your machine, I would suggesting clicking on one to see if it is your original profile if not, then choose the other. Fixed headers while scrolling works fine in bids but not when deployed to reportserver

Hi, I am using SQL Server 2008 R2 & deploying a report to reportserver with fixed headers while scrolling, this works fine in bids but not when deployed to reportserver. We are IE 9.

Since you have identified the 2 xml files are identical, according to my knowledge, there maybe a compatibility issue with IE 9 and SSRS 2008 R2, so I suggest that you could run the report in compatibility mode. Please make sure you have turned on Compatibility
View in Internet Explorer 9 by following steps:
When Internet Explorer recognizes that a webpage is not compatible, you will see the Compatibility View button on the Address bar. Try clicking it.
When Compatibility View is turned on, the button changes from an outline to a solid color when you view the page.

ITunes/Apple Mobile Device works fine w/iPod but not iPad

Hi. I'm getting stuck on this and would like some help to solving this problem. Basically I'm trying to sync my iPad; however, whenever I connect it, this meesage pops up: "this iPad cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device is not started." The problem is that when I try to plug in an iPod using the same wire, it works fine, no problem, but the iPad just won't connect. I have since uninstall and reinstall all Apple components (iTunes, AMD, QuickTime, etc) and it's still the same thing...iTunes connects fine w/ the iPod, but not the iPad. What to do? Thnx in advance.

Btw, I've tried to connect the iPad while the iPod is connected, and the "Apple Mobile Device is not started" error message pops up too, which is weird, because the iPod is connected and syncing at that time...which means the Apple Mobile Device thing IS started. >.>

The iOS devices use Apple Mobile Device Service, while older iPods use the iPod Service.

I have tried: resetting router, resetting ipad, forgetting network, renewing lease on network, ensuring airplane mode is off, resetting network settings, turning wifi on/off. None of the typical solutions I can find online seem to work. HELP!

You probably don't need it, but the Tiger "iSight Updater" is located in the \System\Library\CoreServices\iSight Updaters\iSight Updater folder.
(You must look manually because SpotLight does not find it.)
Double click the "iSight Updater" there to run the Firmware update manually.

Firmware 1.0.3 Update offers only "Improved audio performance". It does NOT enable audio or any other function, so that is NOT your problem with Skype or YMM. Search or post in their dedicated help/discussions for best and quickest help with those specific, non-Apple apps.

Handled http connection exceptions works fine on emualtor but bot on phone?

I have written some code to do a currency conversion.
The code works fine when a proper url is entered:

I wanted to see how the error handling worket so i entered a dummy url. In the emulator this works fine, once i catch the IOexception i display an alert " Could not connect to server etc" . But when i run it on my K700i it does`nt show the error alert it goes to the display reults and shows an empty conversion result?
Does anyone know what this issue is?? I have tried everything.

It turned out to be the firewall settings on our router. Her machine was sending traffic that our router interpreted as a DoS attack and blacklisted her Airport's MAC address. That's why it would work fine if she switched to Ethernet.
