Fixing a pretty badly dented case?

So, I live in India- unfortunately, I'm not quite used to it yet. Upon my arrival here in July, I took a 3rd class overnight train to the town I now call home. I wasn't used to India in the sense that I didn't expect the trains to be as crazy as they were, so I ended up having my laptop bag bumped and bashed around all over the place. Despite the fact that my MBP was seated snugly in its Crumpler School Hymn letherette protector sleve, it still had a corner punched in pretty bad. Everything works fine (I had a backlight inverter board failure, but that was unrelated), but a series of small dents on my clumsy part have resulted in more and more dents. I've started being more careful, but here there's not too much you can do to avoid bumping into things (busses, autorickshaws, people...). Now I've got my bottom casing separating from the rest of the MBP on one corner, and its getting me pretty worried. I know Apple doesn't cover this, and that it technically voids my warranty, so I should get it fixed soon. Any recomended paths? ifixit calls a bottom case assembly replacement "very difficult", but some other posts have classed it as pretty easy. Should I fix it myself, or have someone else do it? Any reccomended repair companies, or parts dealers? If I do end up replacing this thing, will my warranty end up voided?

There's no official Apple Store near me (India, unfortunately, hasn't heard the gospel of Steve) so I'd have to go an AASP in Delhi, next time I'm there. However, I'm concerned that they'll see I bumped my case up and put me on some blacklist of "idiots who voided their waranties". If I took it to them, could they refuse to treat any future problems on AppleCare because I messed up my case?

It worked flawlessly for a month, then suddenly died. I put it to sleep one day, then 5 minutes later remembered something I had forgotten to do, opened it back up... and nothing. It never worked again. Repairs would have been well over $1,000, and would not have been covered by the warranty or by AppleCare (if I had bought it). I opted to just buy a new Mac instead.
Now, just because that happened to me does not mean that's what will happen to you. However, you do need to prepare yourself for that possibility.

Had some trouble to get the PDF print working, too. Printing works fine for standard reports, but for interactive report I am not able to get it working. Sometimes I am getting only blank pages (and no file) and sometimes I am getting PDF's which just contain an internal 500 error. The iPad will be $329 AUD if replaced via postage service or $309 AUD if replaced at an Apple Store. Yes they will give you the replacement and take your old iPad so I would suggest if you can back it up to iTunes so that you can restore the back up to the replacement.

Adobe Send seems to be running pretty badly lately, i.e I regularly can't log-in to actually use it, just get the blue timer squares! Any news on what's going on? Thanks.

Do you get an error when you try to log in, or is it that the page never loads (you just see the blue squares)? What browser are you using? Please try clearing the browser cache, or log in using a different web browser.

How to fix iPhone 6 aluminium dent?

So I have just discovered a 1cm approx dent in the back of my month old and well cared for iPhone 6.
Does anyone know of any DIY ways to fix this?
I used a suction cup to fix an older iPhones screen and thought this might be able to pull the dent out?

How can I fix "gradient file bad or corrupt" in elements 12

When I start elements 12 a notice comes up that says "the gradient file bad or corrupt". If I click ok the program finishes loading but will not open any existing files, it says they are not valid adobe files, even though they were created in elements 12. I have uninstalled and re installed the entire program, but the message still comes up.

Reset the gradient tool or all tools.Look for a box with lines in it on the tool's option bar. Click & reset..
If that does not fix it, suggest that you reset preferences via Edit>Preferences>General. Reset and relaunch.

No, they will do an out-of-warranty replacement of the entire unit for a very high cost. Get a case and cover it up.

Fixing Links with Mismatched Text Case

Hi,
I have a website that I created years ago with a text editor and it was before I realised how important upper and lower case text is when used in HTML. Anyway, my web host updated their server and now my site is completely broken because in some cases I would use a link for an image that would be for a file called "img123.jpg", but my link would call for IMG123.jpg and now it wont find the file.
I'm using DW CS5, is there an automated way to fix these with dreamweaver? Or is there at least a setting that will make the "check links" function find them? It's a site that has hundreds of pages with photos so doing it manually is a monumental task.

Just incase someone else has the same problem I did find the option that makes dreamweaver find the mismatched links in the "check links" window.
You have to go to "Site" > "manage sites" > "Edit" > "Advanced" then there's an option box for "case-sensitive link checking"
I'm kind of suprised there isn't an automated way to fix them. There may be but googling words like "text" "link" and "case" don't bring up the greatest results.

Has this ever happened to you? My ipod screen in flashing a white but not a solid white but its getting pretty bad now any help?

Screen will flash a white screen i can still use my ipod but the screen flashes. Before it was just a little bit but now its getting ot be all the time any one know how to fix it or a solution?

If it happens again and the reset (home + power buttons) doesn't work, just let the battery drain; you'll know when the screen shuts off. Charge it back up and it should be fine. Frankly, I'm surprised this worked for you. Usually I hear people with this problem say that holding both buttons doesn't work, and they have to do the battery drain.
If the issue is incurable next time, you have a one-year warranty from the date of purchase.
