bonjour,
je fais un bête menu animé avec des GotoAndPlay
depuis des clips. .mais
ça ***** de façon immonde.. des retour en frame 1
se bloque en fait
ailleur sur le root, tout en affichant quand même les
traces de la frame 1.
pareil pour des gotoAndPlay via un IF, qui se bloque sans
raison puisque
rien dans la progra ne peut l'arrêter..
est ce le fait d'utiliser des numéros de frame au lieu
d'étiquette..
merci de votre aide..

Disk Utility - create ISO Data DVD image for burning?

Which are the exact options in Disk Utility that I need to select, in order to create an ISO DVD Data image that will be readable by PCs and Macs alike?
I have looked on the web and in the help but am none the wiser due to lack of an explanation of the options
Format: Mac OS Extended (journaled),...,MS-DOS (FAT)
Partitions:Single partition - Apple Partition Map,...,Single Partition CD/DVD with ISO data
If you cannot point me in the direction of some decent documentation, please just tell me which options I need to select to create an ISO Data DVD

Try this link.
Basically, you can drag a folder into the list on the left. Then, with the folder selected, click New Disk Image from the toolbar at the top (not sure of the exact wording, but it's something along those lines). Make sure to select ISO from the pop-up menu.

Cannot Mount Any ISO in Windows 8.1 Pro

I cannot mount any ISO images on my Windows 8.1 Pro machine. I have tried the "Mount" under right-click as well as Powershell with the same results. From the UI, I get a simple message "Sorry there was a problem mounting the file."
while from Powershell I get an HResult that from searching seems to be rather generic.
I have followed the idea about upper filter and lower filter. I have made sure that the ISO is not "sparse". I made sure that ISO's are associated with Windows Explorer. I have tried a number of ISO's all from either TechNet or MSDN
with the same results. ProcMon doesn't really offer anything useful as the number of entries is overwhelming to try to limit to just mounting an image.
I read several posts where drive letters were an issue, but no guidance was given regarding what drive letter the virtual drive preferred.
I can mount the same ISO files on another Windows 8.1 Pro machine, so it isn't the ISO itself.
Any ideas? I have spent the entire day working on this problem and I really need some help.

I was struggling with this too. I found that the problem is a 'sparse' attribute that gets added by the Akamai downloader (known bug). To fix just copy the ISO (and the VHD) files to another folder this removes the (P). I found the answer at:

Can't Open FLA files

Hello,
This just started happening, not sure why. If I have an FLA
on my desktop, and I double click on it to open it, I get an error
that says:
"Windows cannot find <directory to my file\myFile.FLA>.
Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. To
search for a file, click on the Start button, and then click
Search."
But if I go to File --> Open and navigate to the file on
my desktop, it opens no problem.
Also, if Flash is already open and I double click on a file
on my desktop, it opens correctly.
Has anyone ever experienced this before?
Any help to get rid of this annoyance would be greatly
appreciated!

Root Password Anomoly

MMMmm.
My root password is no longer recognised by the GUI.
Interesting enough i can still login to the Root users Terminal using the Root password in an administrative users account.
Righ before this occured i activated the file vault within my Admin account, it is not currently active on the root account,
i am not sure but consider this may have has an impact on the gui.
All Suggestions gratefully received..........

Are you able to change the root password in NetInfo manager? Also check there and make sure the root user is enabled.
Alternatively, you might just want to boot off your install CD and reset the password - probably the easiest way out.

I have got 6509 as main & 3750 as standby, running hsrp, enabled STP also, now my question is, how do i make my 6509 as root switch & what benefit do i get once if i make it as root?

The final topology computed by the spanning tree will look like a star centered on the root bridge. You'd rather make sure your root (and even a secondary root, in case of failure of the primary) are located in something that looks like the center of your network. If most of the traffic goes to a default gateway or to some servers from edge bridges, the root must be close to this point. Letting STP decide where you root bridge is not a good idea because you don't want the traffic between two of your core switches to go through an access switch for instance;-) Also, if a switch with a default configuration is inserted in your network, you don't want it to be a possible root because it could cause a complete reconvergence of your bridged domain. It is thus better (and so simple) to configure a root bridge.
As already mentioned, just reducing the priority to low value is enough to select a root bridge.

JTree recursive root with different children

I'm trying to create a JTree with the following content:

As you can see, the tree root can contain multiple departments. A department can consist of sub-departments and/or employees. A sub-department can also exist of sub-departments and/or employees. So the department records are some kind of tree and the employees can be put in a certain (sub-)department.
The problem is how do I map this on a JTree? If you look at the following message, Re: What is meant by Vintage Assests Maintenace you will see that my problem looks similar but isn't quite the same. I came up with the following code (which obviously doesn't work the way I like it to work):

You may want to create a "polymorphic node" to imply that if the row behind a node has an attribute of a given value - execute a certain "accessor" to get the children.

10.7.1 root access gone

Dear Admins and Readers
Under 10.7.0 Server I was able to activate the root user and I was able to login to my Mac Mini Server i7 as root.
Now after I did the update to 10.7.1 Server, this capability has disappeared . I'm able to du a "su root" with the coresponding password, but I'm nomore able to login through the login window.
What's going wrong?
Any idea?

I had the exact same issue but on a non-server Mac OS X 10.7 and later updated to 10.7.1. I was in a hurry and didn't want to spend the day to find a fix. I formatted the hard drive and reinstalled Lion from scratch making sure that root access via GUI was still working. I updated to 10.7.1, installed dev tools and everything is still working.
I've seen that you posted your question on Macintouch website, you could also post the additional info there. A good place to post is StackExchange (http://apple.stackexchange.com/).

Can't log in as root via ssh, secure.log says it has expired

Hi,
I've followed the guides to enable the root account via Directory Utility but I can't log in via ssh. In secure.log I get:
Apr 26 09:09:56 snowy sshd[1797]: in pamsmauthenticate(): Failed to determine Kerberos principal name.
Apr 26 09:10:00 snowy sshd[1794]: error: PAM: user account has expired for root from <xxxx hostname removed for privacy> via 10.0.0.1
I've tried enabling/disabling the root account, changing its password.. I've made sure the root account is enabled in sshd_config and that it has a valid shell in /etc/shells.
If anyone can tell me how to fix this I'd be very grateful.

Je cherche à transférer ILLUSTRATOR CS6 sur un nouvel ordi.
Sur mon compte client ADOBE, j'ai bien retrouvé ma clé de licence CS6, elle était d'ailleurs également sur la pochette du CD d'installation
Mais si je lance le CD et que j'indique le numéro de clé, j'ai la réponse suivante :
"le numéro de série indiqué est valide mais aucun produit éligible n'a été détecté sur cet ordinateur. Pour utiloiser ce numéro de série, vous devez posséder..."
et là on me site de plus anciennes versions avec demande d'une clé d'activation pour cette ancienne version.
Sauf qu'effectivement, j'ai bien eu précédemment une version CS3... mais dont le n° de série n'est plus indiqué dans mon espace client adobe !

Please, help me, if you have the time. The company that I am doing some flash design work for, bought a template, from templatemonster.com. The template ID that they purchased, is 20643. I usually work more on the design/creative side, but I know a little of simple actionscript. Although, I can not figure out why this is not working, after some simple modifications. I believe that it is an issue with the actionscript, somewhere, in the "pages2/sub_menu2" part or somewhere, in the "pages2/gall_main2" part, in the .fla file. I am 99.99% finished with this site and I would greatly appreciate any of your help, in any way, possible. This site is currently online, for you to view, at your earliest convenience.

This template originally came with 4 main menus (PORTFOLIO / ABOUT US / OUR NEWS / CONTACT US).
The PORTFOLIO section has 3 submenu links (INTERIOR / LANDSCAPE / ANIMALS).
I changed the 3 submenu links from, (INTERIOR / LANDSCAPE / ANIMALS), to (AVIATION / EDUCATION / FEDERAL).
Those work fine.
Now, I have added 4 additional submenu links. (LEISURE SERVICES / SUSTAINABLE DESIGN / TRANSIT / ARCHITECTURE ENGINEERING).
So, I now have a total of 7 links, within the PORTFOLIO section, named (AVIATION / EDUCATION / FEDERAL / LEISURE SERVICES / SUSTAINABLE DESIGN / TRANSIT / ARCHITECTURE ENGINEERING).
My first 3 links work perfect, but the other (4-7) links are not working, correctly.
They seem to link to the correct category, but do not load correct image, until you click on a thumbnail, then the big image loads, as it is supposed to do, but the thumbnails still have the wrong images loaded.
I have checked every word for word of the actionscript, but I still can not figure this out.
I believe that this is a simple solution, surely consisting of only 1 letter, word or sentence of code being wrong, somewhere, in the actionscript, within the flash (fla) file. I have the files, available to download, if anyone willing to help me needs them.

In the section where the photos load, each frame has a different category of photos that loads on that frame.

Button help

Hey all, another Flash question here.
I am jumping into the realm of web page building and have discovered a few problems.
First off, for some reason, it takes me two clicks on my buttons to go to a new destination... Not sure why its happening. I thought if I switch from dynamic text to static it wold fix it but no dice.
Second, If you click on operations > 3D The map doesn't scroll like it should.
No idea why.. the code checks out.

Template help with Flash Gallery

First of all I would like to say that I give everyone on here so much credit for learning flash and actionscipt. I wish I payed attention in HS class so I could understand this better.
I purchased a template from template moster (http://www.templatemonster.com/flash-templates/28019.html) and I am trying to modify it. I am attempting to add 3 other galleries which look exactly like the gallery in the template with the same functions. I figured out how to change the pictures which both the large and thumbnails are being loaded from a portfolio folder outside of the main fla file. I wish the files were in the fla because I am sure it would be a little easier. Can anyone help me with duplicating the gallery page? I am using CS3 and Actionscript 2. If you need a screen shot just ask. Thank you for the help

To add further information to the post above...
When I use the selection tool to drill down into the buttons
it goes from "Scene1" to a "menu" symbol which contains the five
stacked buttons in the stage (again they all display as "About Us"
instead of how they look in a browser). I can then drill down into
each individual button which always goes to the same "btn" symbol
(resulting in a workspace that is viewing Scene1->menu->btn).
When I right-click on any of the five buttons and select "Actions"
in the menu it brings up the Actions - movie clip dialog and there
are no actions specified.
However, when I right click on the parent "menu" symbol and
look at actions they are the following:

Lastly, I can drill down one further step to
Scene1->menu->btn->btn_0. When I do this the "About Us"
text disappears and just the button background is showing. When I
right click in the workspace there is no "Actions" selection. When
I right click on the frame in the timeline there is an "Actions"
selection but there are no actions specified.
