Flash animation to html conversion hairline problem

Hi. I am Suzi. I am currently working in Flash CC and working with some animations. I am needing to turn the Flash animations in to HTML and Java Script which are being viewed on iPads, iPhone and on the net.  My issue is that when they are eventually view they loose all quality and also have a warning sign stating that
"Warnings generated while copying/importing in (name of the file)
*some artwork contains hairline stroke, which is not supported in HTML5 Canvas document, and has been converted to solid.
The animations come out with a lot of white section obviously the hairlines. I do not have the ability to change the 120 animations nor the time. Is there a way we can fix this problem? Thanks

This animation is a  frog. When he jumps or moves we can see the white behind the frogs eyes its seems to move slower than the rest of his image. Also there seems to be  white hairlines across the animation, only flashes up quickly but I cant use him this way. . Put it this way the animation doesn't come out clean. I assume its because of the stroke change. Now maybe this is not the reason.
as you can see there is a hairline across his arm. this is viewed in Fire Fox IE, etc. This is a Flash Doc changed into a HTML canvas from AS3 document format.
These animations were produced years ago and are copyright for the company i work for.
They are looking at making these flash files available on every media for their employees (coaches).
There is a PC based program called COMPOSICA that is a learning program and has modules that the teachers need to use.
This is the base of where the animations need to start. the program is then used through the web on ipad, iphones etc.
So bottom line is we need the cleanest image we can get.
So i assume that makes sense...hee hee
Thank you Suzi

  • Flash animation/click and mini slide problem

    Hi,
we have made a roll over effect with flash and put inot
Captivate as a single object. This works fine. When using a roll
over box on this object, the flash animation still works. When we
made a copy of the flash animation object and want to use another
Captivate effect, such as the mini slide on the other animation
object, then the flash animation does not work anymore for both
    objects.
    Any idea?
    Marcus

    Hi Marcus
Yes, you may have two different objects on a slide. I saw
something interesting the other day in one of my Captivate classes.
The attendee had inserted two different slidelets. They both
worked. She had inserted the second slidelet rollover area in a
spot the first slidelet covered. She coaxed the user to mouse over
the rollover trigger for the second slidelet from inside the first
    slidelet. It worked.
You may also have multiple Rollover Captions and Rollover
Images on a slide. Image Buttons are another type of "Rollover"
effect in that different images are swapped in and out as needed
when mousing over or clicking the buttons.
So the bottom line here is to say that indeed multiple
rollover effects do work in Captivate.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Flash Animation in HTML page

I have an HTML site (unfortunately only an intranet site so I
can't share) that has swfs used in various places. The home page of
the site has a movie that I would like, if possible to only play
when a user enters the site. If, during a session they leave the
home page for another page within the site, and then come back to
the home page, I would prefer them not to see a particular
animation again because once they've seen it, it can be annoying to
see it each time they come back to the home page. Is there a way,
with javascript, to make this happen? I don't think it is anything
I can build into the movie with flash.

what about using cookies and two versions of the page--one
with and one without animations? an if statement could look at the
    cookie and load accordingly, maybe.

  • Flash animation

how can I put some flash animation in a magazine for iPad ?
I know I need to converted to HTML .. but I dont know how to put the HTML code in Adobe InDesign C5.5

Felipe - You can use a number of different methods to convert flash animation to HTML. If you're creating animation from scratch, I recommend using Adobe Edge. If you created native animation in InDesign, use an app called Wallaby. Copy the animation to a small document, export the document as an FLA file, and then use Wallaby to convert the FLA file to an HTML5 file that you can specify in a Web Content overlay. For more detailed instructions, download the DPS Tips app on your iPad and look at the Animation article in the Overlays issue.
Both Wallaby and Edge are available in Adobe Labs.

  • Flash Animations and Movies are lagging after having played a flash game which was graphics intense heavy and frequently refreshed which caused lags, how can I fix this lagging problem for Flash?

On June 30th, I was playing a game called Lil Einstein's Manhattan project over at Newgrounds.com and the game although fine at first, later on in the advanced levels of the game, started to cause my browser to lag intensely and heavily. Now, when I try and watch other flash movies and animations, the flash doesn't run as smoothly, there are skips in the flash animations and movies, and it slows down.
I tried scan disks, I tried defragmenting my computer, I tried uninstalling and re-installing Firefox.. Nothing worked to restore the Flash.
But when I view Flash movies and animations on Internet Explorer, they run fine... but not anymore on Firefox.
Other Firefox users who have played this game also reported problems as well..
How can I fix my Firefox Browser and return the Flash running to normal?
    == This happened ==
    Not sure how often
    == June 30th, 2010

If you have already scanned PC with an updated Anti-Virus and still the issue exists then I would suggest some troubleshooting techniques to resolve this problem:
    Update browser
    Remove unwanted Add-ons
    Remove unwanted Tool-bars
    Repair Registry
Repair ActiveX objects and shared DLLs
In case of facebook and Zynga I would suggest to Check for Problems with your Internet Connection.Try to Update Java and Reduce the Number of Running Internet Applications.
Sometimes Multimedia content lag due to Hardware Acceleration, so disabling Hardware Acceleration should fix your problem.
    Open Flash Video in browser
Right click on Video Player | Settings
    Open Display Panel
    Uncheck Enable Hardware Acceleration
If issue still exists then you can find some more techniques described in detail here:

I have created a flash animation and placed it as a header on

  • On Macintosh, Adobe Reader 9 don't read flash animations...

    Hello,
Ive just downloaded Adobe reader 9 and, on my iMac INTEL 20"C2D under 10.5.4, and flash animations are not read.
A right click on the site of animation says to me: "Animation unloaded", and that as well with Adobe Reader 9.0 or with Safari.
In fact, the problem started about last spring with Adobe Reader 8, after an Apple security update...
Ive contacted many times Adobe Hotline, without result.
These animations are however read without problem under Windows or on my iMac G5 with an older system...
Example, on this page: http://www.photologie.fr/indexStirLed.html, one sees a flash animation in top, on the right.
Once converted into .pdf file: http://www.photologie.fr/stirling/fichierspdf/StirLed.pdf , this flash animation is not visible any more, and the message "Put in buffer memory" appears in bottom on the right...
There is paradoxical that Adobe insists on the facility of reading animations and videos with version 9!
    Do you have a solution?
    Thanks!

I think that I have it: Adobe Flash Player 9 (9,0,115,0)
    Thanks

  • ADOBE FLASH PLAYER 10.2.159.1 PROBLEM

I'VE BEEN TRYING ALL DAY TO INSTALL AN ADOBE FLASH PLAYER (THE ADOBE FLASH PLAYER I'VE USED FOR MONTHS JUST DISAPPEARED).  I HAVE AN ACER ASPIRE, USE WINDOWS 7, 32 BIT AND, WHILE NOT A TECH OF ANY SORT, I CAN CERTAINLY FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.
AS A STARTING POINT, HOW WOULD A PERSON INSTALL ADOBE FLASH PLAYER ON A LAPTOP WHICH HAS NO SUCH PLAYER?
NOTE: I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING PROMISING ONLINE, AND COME TO A TOTAL STOP AFTER PRESSING THE "DOWNLOAD" BUTTON IN WHICHEVER PROGRAM. AT THAT POINT, AN "ADOBE FLASH" SCREEN APPEARS, INFORMING ME I MIGHT ENCOUNTER 4 PROBLEMS (AND PRESUMABLY WHAT TO DO IF I GET ONE). HOWEVER, THIS PAGE IS A TOTAL DEAD END, AS THERE IS NO WAY TO PROCEED WITH THE DOWNLOAD. THE ONLY THING I CAN DO WITH THIS PAGE IS TO READ IT.
SO, PLEASE, CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME A SHORT STEP-BY-STEP THROUGH DOWNLOADING THE FLASH PLAYER, ESPECIALLY WHEN GETTING TO THE DEAD END PAGE, ABOVE. IT SHOULD BE SIMPLE.
ALSO, CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN WHY ADOBE REMAINS OUT OF THE LOOP ON THIS ONE (EXCEPT FOR THE OPPOPRTUNITY TO SPEND AN (APPARENTLY UNLIMITED) AMOUNT OF MONEY ON THE BLIND HOPE I CAN GET AN ANSWER FROM SOME TECH STRANGER.
ALSO, I SHOULD ADD, I'M NOT ASKING FOR A THESIS ON THE SUBJECT AS IT SHOULDN'T TAKE MORE THAN A FEW STEPS.  FOR EXAMPLE, STEP 1. MIGHT BE 'GO TO WWW.ADOBE.COM/FLASH PLAYER.COM".  SOMETHING LIKE THAT IS ALL I REALLY NEED FOR EACH STEP; YOU DON'T HAVE TO START WITH BENJAMIN FRANKLIN'S DISCOVERIES IN ELECTRICITY; OR PRATE ON ABOUT ACTIVE-X FILES, SECURITY PROBLEMS, 32 BIT VS. 64 BIT STUFF, .ETC.
THANKS, IN ADVANCE TO ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME GET A FLASH PLAYER DOWNLOADED.
    CUBAN PETE 1941

Sorry, I could read only the first paragraph you wrote, then my eyes grew very tired and I couldn't continue.  It is very hard to read ALL-CAPS postings!
But I understand that you need instructions to reinstall Flash Player; try this
    download the FP uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html and save it to disk;
    download the FP installer(s) from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html and save it/them to disk - note that there are two different installers, the ActieX for Internet Explorer, and the plugin for all other browsers;
close all browser instances, then run the downloaded uninstaller, followed by the installer(s).
Now go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ - if you can see the Flash animation (rotating red 'F'), then Flash Player is correctly installed and working.

  • Flash Projector and Html together

I want this CD to work in computers without Flash Player installed.

you can include the exe installer for the user.
Have the exe projector start, than ask whether they have or
    not the player and
if they don't you could use fscommand exec to call it from cd
    and install.
Macromedia allow downloads if the players for cd
    distribution, you just need
to fill up a form to get the licensing which is an instant
    process.
you could also have HTML with detection to check for the
    player if they were
not sure whether is it or not install.
I have been doing the very same for years, flash projector as
    splash screen
with all kind of add ons required for the CD, from flash
    players to adobe reader
    installer.

  • Flash animations in Captivate look choppy

I am using Flash animations in Captivate 3. The animations
are published to Flash Player 6 before being embedded in Captivate.
The Captivate project is in turn published to Flash Player 9.
The animations look good in the published Captivate SWF when
I run the SWF directly in Flash Player. However, if I run the SWF
in a browser (I tried both IE & Firefox, having Flash Player
9.0.45.0), the animations look very choppy and slow. What could be
    the reason?
    Regards,
    Mohsin

    Kevin & Rick,
Thanks for your responses. I diagnosed the problem. It did
not have anything to do with frame rates.
What was actually happening is that my Captivate SWF was
1024x768 originally, but when opening it in an HTML, I was NOT
loading it at 100% of its size. Instead, I was loading it at
880x660 in the OBJECT tag of my HTML, which was causing the issue.
Even when I would open the SWF directly using IE, IE would resize
the content in order to display it completely, thereby causing the
animations playing within to rescale. This, somehow, made them look
    choppy.
    Cheers!

  • Centre flash animation into dreamweaver

    Hi All,
I am a complete beginner with Dreamweaver, and having great
problems fixing the size of a flash animation I'm playing as an
intro. I have managed to get the animation in and it centred, but
when I tested it on another computer I noticed it had stretched and
for some reason it was possible to minimise the animation by using
the + and - signs whilst in the browser window. How can I prevent
this from happening, so no matter what machine you view from it
keeps the size and position the same.
Any advice will be much appreciated.

You'll probably need to spend time learning how to create things in Flash--maybe try lynda.com.  Flash can be used for the animation and mouse interaction revealing text.  Once you are able to create the animation in Flash, you can have Flash publish both the swf file, which is what goes into the web page, and an html file.  You can copy the code from the Flash html file into the Dreamweaver file wherever you intend the Flash file to be inserted.

  • Actionscript that runs Flash animation

    Hi
I tried out the 101 flash tutorial here -
    http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/flash/articles/flacs3_createfla_02.html
The animation works fine (the circle moves from left to right
    thanks
to a "motion tween") but can I see the actionScript code for
    that?
The question is essentially, if you make a flash animation
    using this
GUI editor, can you see the actionScript commands that drive
    this
animation? e.g. I have Alias Maya before and that generates
    MEL script
code for all animations so you can control your animation via
    the GUI
editor in addition to a script editor also
This would be useful if you could switch between GUI view and
command-editor view for your animation - I could not locate
    this on
    the net ...
    Thanks
    - Sami

Ok, I'm a bit confused.  When you boot into safe mode, does it work?  If so, then it's definitely a service/utility that is being loaded on boot (in normal mode) that is conflicting.  My first inclination is to suspect the virus/security software that you have installed.
Normally, I'd use the tool "msconfig" to turn different items off until I discovered the culprit.  However, sometimes this isn't enough for a virus scanner.  So, to start I'd try temporarily uninstalling your virus/security software, then rebooting into normal mode to see if that makes a difference.
If it fixes the problem, then I'd recommend contacting the security company to see what they'd recommend.
If it still occurs, then try using msconfig to selectively disable apps/services until you've found the problem.

  • Center Flash animation in window?

Hi, all. I'd like to get my Flash animation to run centered
in the browser window, remaining at a fixed size regardless of how
the window is resized on screen. Is there some code I can add to
the Flash-generated HTML page to make this happen? Better yet, I'd
like it to open in a fixed-size window with dimensions matching the
Flash animation. Can anyone help me out? I'd appreciate it.

This is really an HTML/Javascript problem and not
particularly complicated. You can try a popup window as described
    in the tutorial here:
    http://www.tizag.com/javascriptT/javascriptpopups.php
Or you can use CSS/HTML to center the <OBJECT> tag that
corresponds to your flash movie. The easiest thing is probably to
put that <object> tag in a table like this
    <TABLE>
    <TR>
    <TD align="center" valign="middle"><OBJECT>(this
object tag is generated by flash)</OBJECT></TD>
    </TR>
    </TABLE>

  • Posting Flash Animation On MySpace & Other Such Sites

Over the years I’ve created many animated GIFs that I posted on my website. Whenever I wanted to post these animations anywhere else on the web (MySpace, for instance), all I had to do was point to them using this HTML code:<img src=" http://illuminationgallery.net/animated.gif ”>. What is the equivalent code for posting Flash animations? I've tried looking at MySpace pages in Page Source mode, but everything appeared so convoluted.
    Peter Schmideg

I understand that neither method did the repairs you are seeking. My post was a side-note information update for you and others who read these posts, that we haven't had to boot from the install DVD to do a Permissions Repair since Tiger (I think)or maybe even Panther (doesn't matter when the requirement was dropped anyway), and that you can actually set some permissions wrong by using the boot DVD because of changes in the OS since it was installed.
For your problem I recommend creating a new temporary Admin user account and seeing if the problem continues in the new account. If it does, then the problem is in the OS, which can be re-installed over the top of your existing installation (without affecting your files in your user accounts). If the problem goes away, then it could be incompatible or corrupted preference files or other incompatible programs in the user account causing the problems. Right now you haven't isolated the problem to either possibility.
