Flash causes "page contains secure and non-secure..."

Hi All,
I have a flash menu on my web store .php pages and am getting
a "this page contains secure and non-secure items..." in IE7 in
Vista. I think this is because of the Flash menus, but thought I
had taken care of this by making the codebase embedding to
"https://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,19,0"
Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Thanks so much ShadowKnyte for the reply. Turns out it wasn't
the Flash menu, after all, as it did have the embedding links set
to https. In fact, it was my Google analytics call at the end of
the page. It needed to be changed to:
<script src="https://ssl.google-analytics.com/urchin.js"
type="text/javascript"></script>

You got the terms and version wrong in first reply.
The first link is to Shockwave player (not flash) and version is 12.1.3.153
and second is indeed Flash player but at version 15.0.0.189.
The Shockwave player is not used much (and there is not even a plugin for Linux) so don't bother with it.

Crashing, pages freezing up, and non-responsive scripts

I'm having issues with pages locking up, non-responsive script messages popping up, Firefox flashing in and out, and now with a recent update my Firefox is crashing.

My Firefox will not open unencrypted data, when there is a page with encrypted and non encrrypted data

When I try to review a page, I get a message that some of the info is encrypted and some isn't, then it only shows half the information. how do I get it to show all thee info on the page?

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Flash causes Firefox to hang and never recover

This has been happening since FF 13. OS is Win server 2008 R2.
Flash plugin is updated automatically. As soon as any page with flash is loaded, firefox hangs. No way to get it to respond no matter how long I wait. Have to manually end process.
Same behaviour continues in FF 14.
I keep plugin disabled, but it is enabled sometimes after updating, and FF again hangs when flash is encountered.
Very frustrating.

OK, setting protectedmode=0 has solved the issue!

On certain websites, my own, that use flash the pages do not work if you use the back button in the browser. They have to be refreshed before any of the links will work again. Very frustrating.

When I am browsing my own sites (2 of them) which are built in Flash, everything is fine following the links on the pages. But if I hit the back button in the browser, the pages freeze up and none of the links work anymore. If I refresh the page, then the links work fine.
This does not happen on Safari as after pressing the browser back button, all is well.

Dear jscher2000, thank you for your response! I'm running 16.01 version, so the 3.6.20 version isn't the correct one. I've updated it yesterday.
I also have to mention that today everything seems to work just fine! :) I don't experience the problems anymore and all links work again just normally, eventhough I'm logged into Facebook account. Maybe it was just a temporary bug.
I couldn't say what was the reason to that solution, but I'm glad there aren't problems anymore with Mozilla.

Is it possible to search for strings containing spaces and special characters?

In our RoboHelp project, there are figures with text labels such as Figure 1, Figure 3-2, etc.
When I search for "Figure 3" I get all pages containing "Figure" and "3", even if I surround it in quotes. Similarly, searching for "3-2" treats the '-' character as a space and searches for all pages containing '3' or '2'.
Is there a way to search for strings containing spaces and special characters?

In that case I think the answer is no if you are using the standard search engine. However I believe that Zoom Search does allow this type of searching. Check out this link for further information.

i am not able to find which table contains Collective and Non-collective orders field in Production Order Change (CO02)???

Please check the table AFKO.
If AFKO-LEAD_AUFNR is same as AFUK-AUFNR, then it is collective Order.
if AFKO-LEAD_AUFNR is blank or space, then it is normal Order.
If you want to check whether the material is collective or not, you can find the same in MARC-SOBSL = 52.

Need to know how many pages contain color

Is there any way of determining from the PDF file how many pages contain color and how many are just black and white?
I need to be able to charge users for use of the more expensive color laser printer, and tell the relative cost of printing in black only.
If there is not a simple way, eg something in each page header, then how many different things would I need to scan for within the PDF file?
Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone have any utilty software to help do this?

Since this is the PDFLanguage forum, I'll answer by explain a bit about PDF...
In PDF, there are 11 different ways to represent a color. For example, "Black" could be represented in Gray (1.0), RGB ([0 0 0]), CMYK([0 0 0 1]), etc. Which one(s) of those are "black and white", in your definition?
Therefore, the first thing you need to do is understand how color works in PDF. Second, you need to understand how those varying colorspaces translate to your printer.
THEN you can look around at software solutions that will help you solve your needs.

Add-ons keeps loading and non of my plugins show

I have had this problem for Month now, when I go to Tool - add-ons then the upcoming page keeps loading, I have disabled my plugins to see if that would do something about this, but nothing. So page keeps load and non plugins show.

Why does "Getting Started" link send me to a page of old and obsolete articles?

My brand-new Captivate 5 has a "Getting Started" link on the Welcome page ... but clicking on it brings me to:
"You are on the archive page for the Adobe Captivate Developer Center. This page contains old and obsolete articles and tutorials for previous versions of Adobe Captivate and related products."
How is this Getting Started? Is this working correctly?

APEX 4.1.0 to 4.2.1 This page contains both secure and nonsecure items

I have upgrade Oracle Application Express from 4.1.0 to 4.2.1. After the upgrade, I started to get "Security Information - This page contains both secure and nonsecure items. Do you want to continue?" at the login page. Once I am logged in, I get the same notification for every button/task that I do. What did I do wrong?

Do you know which files are not loading with HTTPS?
With any luck they are files you added and you can change them in the template to HTTPS.
If they are files added by APEX, then I'm not sure if there's a way to change it, but you could remove the substitution string that APEX adds and add the files directly to your template with HTTPS. It's not ideal and would need to revise those includes after each upgrade, but it would eliminate the error.
Or live with it. :-)

Hideing and showing a page or security for some pages

i have developed an applciation where in which i want users to have acces
to some pages and some pages are secured they can be viewed only after entering some credentials.
how can we do this some body help me

Create an authentication scheme and an authorization scheme (under Shared components)
and in the page attributes (top left) you can select these schemes to be active for the page.

I am new to this community and generally new to asking for SAP help in discussions and blogs.
I need some advice on whether SAP Security Notes contain hacker and/or virus defences?
I am investigating a companies SAP Security settings against its policy and global market standards. I have identified that since our SAP rollout SAP Security notes patches have not been maintained. RSECNOTE provides a large list of missing security notes. I'm writing a report and what to confirm whether these notes offer any advice, support or notification of hacking or viruses. Similar to Internet security software I guess.
Can anyone advise if my thoughts and questioning is heading in the right direction or have I got the concept of SAP Security Notes completely wrong?

SAP releases respective security notes as per the loophole identification. Once you run RSECNOTE you get the list of all applicable notes to your software release.
Applying these notes will help you to remove the vulnerability SAP identified, So yes it contains solution to remove vulnerability.
