Flash.data.SQL : cannot access sqlite_master table ???

Normally I find I can execute this query in sqlite and gives
me all the database info.
Am I missing something or being more than usually stupid ?
Not a huge issue, but I was going to build a simple explorer
just to get a feel for sqlite in AIR, and lack of that info makes
it rather difficult!
Also, I see a lot of help available for a database
perspective in flexbuilder 3 beta. Is that a planned addition or
just an unremoved aspect of the generic eclipse IDE it's built in?
It would be a very nice feature to have built in, though I'm
sure I could set it up myself with some googling.

Oracle 10G R2: Cannot access a table whose name is a reserved keyword

Oracle 10G R2 database being accessed using Oracle 10G thin driver in Java.
There is a table named GROUP in the db - GROUP is a reserved keyword of course.
When I execute the statement (after getting the database metadata object from a java.sql.Connection to the DB):

Which would suggest you are using the correct name as a quoted identifier. Presumably the code you are using works for other tables. But you might try variations in case.
You can also query the database directly to get the index information rather than using the metadata.
What is the correct way for me to get the index info from the table named GROUP?The correct way is to not use reserved words.

It is not possible to create tables in a non SAP schema from inside SAP.
The SAP-Oracle license also does not allow you to create the table (see note 581312):
the following actions, among other things, are therefore forbidden at database level:
Creating database users
Creating database segments
Querying/changing/creating data in the database
Using ODBC or other SAP external access methods

i have done a system copy from production server into quality server. quality was scrapped and freshly installed with SAP then used the DB flush method to carry out the system copy. i had to change the DBS_ORA_SCHEMA in environment variables to SAP<SOURCE SID> from SAPSR3. the sap version is ECC6.0,DB is ORACLE10.2 on WIN NT.

Data Object cannot be opened / accessed error - help required

I am running a CR 2008 and have a report set against a SQL view linked via a ODBC link. The view however has been updated and now includes an extra field, which I need to add into my report.
When I use the Set Database Location to update the link I get an error message advising "Data Object cannot be opened/accessed". I click OK to this and then get a further error "Unknown Database Connector Error".
Also, when I go to refresh the report I get this error "The database table "..." cannot be found. Proceed to remove this table from the report?" - if I click no the report refreshes correctly anyway, so it must be able to connect.
I have also tried refreshing the fields in field explorer too, but the extra field doesnt appear.
Any help would be gratefully received.

I can connect to the view via a new blank report and the missing field appears. However when I go to verify database it says the database cannot be found. It asks me if I want to remove it from the report, I select No then it tells me the database is uptodate.
Via the set database location it gives me the error in the initial post.
I think I have a workaround in that if I add a new database table to the same sql view the extra field is in there - so I will manually have to go though the report and change each formula, running total, group, and record selection from the original to the new table, then remove the old table.
Frustrating but it does appear to work.

How to pass data in clause in a better way

Why are you creating a duplicate post? I already asked you to post p_cd_common.get_table_from_string. In particular what is function return type and where it is declared. As I already mentioned, most likely function return type is declared in the package and therefore is PL/SQL type. And TABLE operator can only work with SQL types.

TIME_OUT when accessing Oracle table from SAP using native SQL

I have a problem in one of my native SQL statement. It takes a long time accessing the table considering that the number of records to be retrieved is only small.
Something happened on the Oracle system. But, stilll to be confirmed. Looking further at the issue, it seems that when the value in the where clause equated is a literal (meaning the value is not declared in DATA or CONSTANTS in the ABAP Program)
Example
1.
EXEC.
WHERE FIELD = '1'
ENDEXEC.
instead of
2.
CONSTANTS: c_1 value '1'.
EXEC.
WHERE FIELD = c_1
ENDEXEC.
i found that when the way of coding is same as Example 1, a time-out error occurs. But when in Example 2, no issue.
Can someone explain this?

'An SQL error occurred when accessing a table'.
and please tell me how to solve this problem.

Try to see what all tables are accessed by data source. and see if there is any lock on that..
If some other job is accessing that table - then there might be lock on that which is causing failure..
1) Try looking at ST22 dump also..
2) Try to do RSA3 in R/3 and if see if its is fetching any records or not..

Loading issue : Error: sql error in the database while accessing a table

where as one of the DTP in the process chain failed due to *Error: sql error in the database while accessing a table*, where as in the short dump it showing as Transaction log of data base is full., but i checked the data base space in DB02, more space is available . once we run the same DTP by manually its successful. its not through any errors.
could u please help me out solve the problem.

it might be a lock. do you drop index before loading?
the database might be full at the moment of loading and not later if many loadings happen at the same time on the same system...
when you then rerun your dtp manually, it can go through as it's perhaps the only one running at that moment...
you can try to set the btch parameter to 1...this will help in some cases.
