Flash doesn't interact while on HTTPS server

I have developed a web based flash app that presents a login
screen when the page is browsed to. Upon successful login it gets
data from a backend database and displays it in the browser. I'm
using Actionscript 3 and use a php script to communicate with the
backend database. It works great when the application is installed
on a HTTP server.
However, with the same app accessed through the same
machine's HTTPS server, the submit button on the login screen seems
to do nothing when clicked. It should either provide a failure
message (on any error) or take me to the data screen (on successful
entry).
I've tried accessing the PHP file (in the .swf's URL Request)
as if it lived both on the HTTP and the HTTPS server. If the .swf
is on the HTTP server it works both ways, and if the .swf is on the
HTTPS server it breaks both ways.
Any idea why flash would stop interacting (the initial
animation does run) when the .swf is put on an HTTPS server?

In flash, go publish setting, HTML tab, Template:
Flash
HTTPS
and publish then html, you should be able to see the
published html code, its' codebase & pluginspage attributes is
different with the normal one.
I never use https, but this info may be useful

I am not sure what the following are for and what values i should for them so i commented them
#Oracle Notification Server Request port = port_num
#Oracle Notification Server Local port = port_num
#Oracle Notification Server Remote port = port_num
#ASG port = port_num

Port numbers less than 1024 are privileged ports on Unix/Linux. In order for OHS to run on one of the privileged port (e.g. 81 and 441 in your case) you must enable OHS to run as root. By default OHS runs a non-root user, the user that installed Oracle Application Server.
So to start with installer do not specify custom (static) ports and complete the installation. OHS will be assigned some non-privileged port by installer. Post installation follow the instructions here to change the ports to 81 and 441:

Failed to start HTTP server while installing companion CD

Hi all,
I am installing apex 3.1.2 (though it is old version, clients are still using it :) ), on the oracle 10.2.1 database. I am installing HTTP servers from the companion CD and getting error while starting HTTP server from the configuration assistant. I am getting following error.

The "/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/OHS/cfgtoollogs/configToolFailedCommands" script contains all commands that failed, were skipped or were cancelled. This file may be used to run these configuration assistants outside of OUI. HTTP Server Patch - 4393827 for Oracle EBS 11i

Hi,
Our env is Oracle EBS 11i (11.5.10) + CU2 +ATG RUP6. We are currently on 9.2.0.8.0
I am currently applying Minimum Baseline Patches for extended support - +Patch Requirements for Extended Support of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11.5.10 [ID 883202.1]+.
For the HTTP Server Patch - 4393827 do I need to apply patches for all the below components? It prompted me 4 times to apply the patch for each component.
OHS_1.0.2.2 component
MODPLSQL component
Webcache_1.0.2.2
DB_8.1.7.4

I applied HTTP Server Patch - 4393827 in my upgraded instance 11.5.10 CU2ATG RUP6.
Now the Apache version is:
Server version: Oracle HTTP Server Powered by Apache/1.3.19 (Win32)
Server built: Jun 14 2005 15:26:57 (iAS 1.0.2.2.2 rollup 5)
While applying HTTP Server Patch - 4393827, I was prompted to enter Y or N to apply patch for the following components individually. I had the option to enter N also.
OHS_1.0.2.2 component
MODPLSQL component
Webcache_1.0.2.2 component
DB_8.1.7.4 component
I entered Y(Yes) for all the components and the patching was successful for all the components.
I am doubtful about the DB_8.1.7.4 component patch. Should I say Y to this also?. Since my Instance is on 9.2.0.8.0 is it required to apply this component (DB_8.1.7.4 component) also?

Oracle application server 10g http server virtual host

Hi,
I have defined a new virtual host, changed its setting and create a folder with html file for redirection.
Now when i am trying to access that new virtual host it is redirecting me to the old application.
e.g.
old.domain.com taking me old application.
new.domain.com taking me old application.
in HTML file i wrote url like ... http://myappsserver:port .......
could you please tell me am i missing some thing..

You can find the port usage by executing opmnctl status -l from the command line. This should give you the port usage for each opmn-governed component. In a standard setup, web cache normally runs on port 7777 while Oracle HTTP Server runs on 7778. Alternatively, you can check the httpd.conf for the parameter Listen. This will give you the Oracle HTTP Server port as well.
Did you test with the directive NameVirtualHost added?

Ias console - HTTP Server - Virtual Host Error

Http server is working, but when clicked on the virtual hosts or server settings, mime settings.. the console shows this error.

HTTP Server Doesn't Start after install

I just completed an install of the 10.1.3.1 Oracle App Server. It indicated that the install was successful. I can see in the log the BPEL Manager deploying in the default domain, but I do not see any reference to the HTTP server. Also, when I do a *./opmnctl startall* there is no HTTP_Server~1.log created.
Is there a step I need to complete to enable the Apache server to start? I must be missing something - the Apache folder is there in the install folder.
The *./opmnctl status* reports:

I now know I'm missing the <ias-component id="HTTP_Server"> in the opmn.xml file. The following is from an older install of a few years ago.

Flash doesn't automatically play after uploading to server

I created a website in Flash, published it, and uploaded the swf and html file to the server. When bringing up the website Flash doesn't play automatically. I first must right click and select play. When I was testing my flash site on another server, it worked great and played automatically. Is there something within flash that I need to modify or is this an issue with the server?

First, try bringing up Control Center by swiping up from the bottom of the home screen. Turn on the flashlight by tapping the icon in the lower left. Does the flashlight work? If not, perhaps you have a hardware issue.
If it works, check the top of the screen when you open the Camera app to make sure you have the flash on.

I configure the JServ , but Oracle HTTP Server doesn't work agian

my Oracle HTTP Server doesn't work after i've configured the JServ by Oracle Enterprise Manager.
when i run flowing command :

Privilege Level to view flash (https server)

I've been digging around and I don't think I'm asking the right question, so I thought I'd ask it here. I've been working a little bit with Cisco native IOS HTTP/HTTPS server.
I've put together a SSI (.shtml) page to pull data from my router, and display it in an easy to read format for quick and simple troubleshooting. The thing is, is that I must be a lvl 15 user to access this file when it's loaded onto flash.
To get around this, I felt it would be easier to grant users lvl 1 SSH access and have them authenticate against a RADIUS server. Although that gets around the issue, I'd still really like to try and figure this out. I'd like to know what I need to do to make it so that a lvl 1-14 user can log into the IOS https server, and open my .shtml page without it prompting for lvl 15 authentication.
(I can login with my test user (privilege lvl 1) to the HTTPS server without issue. It's when I try and browse to: https://router/level/01/file.shtml , that's when I'm prompted to login as lvl 15.)

For that we applied some patches, we are updated the JVM version from 5.1.020 to 5.1.024 according note:1249462.After that it is giving the same error. But Today morning it is satrts giving the below error.
com.wm.app.b2b.server.ServiceException: [B2BSERV.0026.9102] Service 'pub.client:http' is not operational. To run this service, first recompile the Java source.

Internal Server Error while using IBM HTTP SERVER

I used Webstudio tool to develop a JSP page and publish it on the IBM HTTP Server. When i was previewing the file, I got a internal server error 500 with the message of misconfiguration. I will be
extremely happy if you can provide an answer for this. All the path and classpath settings are good.

Are you talking AS400? Websphere Application Server? Are you sure the file is in the right place? By default jsp's go in a folder or directory called 'web' which resides in the same directory as the 'servlets' directory. So in one directory you would have two directories, one called servlets for .class files and one called web for jsps. I don't know if this helps or not, but check it out. But I don't know if this were your problem if you wouldn't get a 'NOT FOUND' error instead of the misconfiguration error.

Invalid WSDL - Certificate not trusted - Exception while publishing WSDL in OSR from HTTPS Server

I am publishing a Web Service in OSR from an HTTPS Server. I am getting exception as
Error message:
WSDLException: faultCode=INVALID_WSDL: java.io.IOException: java.security.cert.CertificateException: Server certificate ....... is not trusted!
To remove this exception I have done following steps
a) Added Certificate from remote server in Identity Store of WebLogic Server using keytool utilitity
keytool -import -alias devCertificate -file c:/certificates/okdsoa.cer -truststore demoIdentityStore.jks
b) Added Certificate from remote server in the trust store of weblogic server using keytool utility
keytool -import -alias devCertificate -file c:/certificates/okdsoa.cer -truststore demoTrust.jks
This didnot help.
Then I imported certificate to OSR using PStoreTool command as
PStoreTool.bat add -config C:/OSRHome/registry111/conf/clientconf.xml -certFile c:/certificates/okdsoa.cer
Bounced the servers but that also didnot help.
Can you please suggest?

I found the fix from Oracle Support Knowlededge Base

PStoreTool located in REGISTRY_HOME/bin/PStoreTool add -config
WEBLOGIC_HOME/user_projects/domains/[osr_domain_name]/servers/[osr_server_name]/tmp/_WL_user/registry/[unique id]/public/conf/pstore.xml -certFile newcert.cer
I was updating wrong file with the certificate. It had to be pstore.xml. This solved my issue.
