Flash player  on microsoft surface tab

my game needs the plugin version how do i change it from activeX in windows8 on a microsoft surface tab

The ActiveX plugin in Windows 8 is now a proprietary Microsoft build and it can ONLY be updated through Windows Update, be it on a desktop or tablet. There are two different Flash Player plugins for Windows, but the ActiveX cannot be installed via download from here. The other can. It's here: Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

  • Which is the suitable flash player version for galaxy tab 3

Hi , i'm using galaxy tab 3 vertion 4.1.2 and stil unable to watch any movie through putlocker site.i alredy had installed flash manually fr the device but still it says,"important codec n plug-in missing".pls help..

    Galaxy Tabs use Android.
There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both free in the GooglePlay store. These browsers use "server side" rendering to reduce the load on your device.

  • Installing Adobe Flash Player via microsoft Group Policy

I created two MSI files as recommended by Adobe and install the flash player updates through Group Policy. I have it setup so that the MSI files get published in windows 7 program/features. so when people are on the VPN they can install it manually. When they click on the application, they get an error saying you must have administrative priviliedges to install adobe flash player 12.
There is something in the MSI file stopping it from installing as if you publish it in Program/Features via Group Policy it should allow them to install it without administrative rights as they can install Java software with no issues.ny assistan
Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

Win2012, like Win 8, has Flash Player embedded into IE by Microsoft. The ActiveX plugin cannot be installed from any download here. There is a Windows Update KB patch and two registry keys that prevent it. Unless you manually remove those, the only way to do anything with Flash Player ActiveX for Win8 or Win2012 is through Windows Update.
Those losers in Redmond (or India) only told you to get it fixed here because they REFUSE to accept responsibility for the gabrage browser they shoved down everyone's throats with IE11.
If you're in a corporate environment and cannot use another browser, then the best you can do is repair IE (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318378) and run Windows update again.
If you need the "standalone" Flash Player Projector, it's here: Download the Windows Flash Player 13 Projector
If you need the plug-in for other browsers, it's here: Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
But there is no updating the ActiveX plug-in from here, in spite of what Microsoft told you.

  • Trouble downloading flash player on MS surface RT

i am trying to install flash player on my MS surface rt but it won't let me unless i use wondows store. flash player is not available in the windows store only adobe reader. how can i install flash player?

    Hello,
If you have Matlab installed it could be set as the default program for opening DMG files.  This article, osx - Why is Adobe Flash Player downloaded as a ".dmg.mdlp" file? - Super User, has some information on changing the 'open with' program.

  • Flash player idle's while tab'd awhile

Ok so first off i am just a basic user of flash player, it is installed and working just fine on my Window's vista computer, the only problum i havent been able to fix if it is even possable is this, there are sevral game's i play which requre the use of flash player, sometime's i go to leave page with game on it and create a new tab to do other thing's i return to the tab with flash player on it some time later and i see that the entire time i was tab'd the game useing flash player idled basically stood still till i again had it front and center, i would like to know how to stop it from doing this so they can continue running as there supose to while i am not focused on them, thanks for the help ahead of time

Maybe someone can describe in more details the reason for idle process but whether or not this someone will doesn't matter because this knowledge is purely academic. There is no way to control frame code execution and screen rendering except, of course, for the fact that your code is what mostly affects frame rate as there is no way in Flash to affect CPU usage directly.

  • Flash on the Microsoft Surface

Has anyone had trouble installing the latest Flash version on the Microsoft Surface?

I also have Windows 8 if that makes any difference.

  • Can Adobe Flash Player support Microsoft Windows Embedded 8 version?

Flash Player seems still have bugs on Microsoft Windows Embedded 8.
Does any one know which flash player version is fully support WES8?

The Windows IE plugin is modified by Microsoft. Adobe writes the code, but once it goes in the browser, it's Microsoft's baby. It cannot be updated or replaced here unless you remove a specific Windows 8 update KB patch.
It IS fully supported but IE11 has been a "rolling train wreck" since it was released. The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player. So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.
    Firefox (from Mozilla)
    Opera (from Opera)
    Safari (from Apple)
    Chrome (from Google)
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.

  • Flash player für android tab

    Hallo....
Kann mir jemand sagen ob ich einen flash player für samsung galaxy tab 10.1 (android 4.3) downloaden kann?
...für info's wäre ich sehr dankbar!

There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player since June of 2012.
    Historically:
2008 (March) - Apple® releases the first iPhone, using iOS®. Steve Jobs is insistent and adamant that iOS® is NOT compatible with Flash® and NEVER WILL BE. Jobs' reasoning is that playing Flash® content is processor consumptive and it drains batteries, thus shortening the life of them in mobile devices. In six years, that hasn't changed. Not for the iPhone®, iPad® or iPod® Touch™. It never will change and there never will be a Flash Player® for iOS®.
2008 (September) - Google® introduces Android™ to compete with iOS®, for people who don't want to pay what Apple® is asking for an iPhone®. Android®, unlike its Apple® counterpart IS compatible with Flash®.
2012 (June) - Android™ (Google®) announces the end of support for Flash® with Android™ 4.3. Going forward NO Android™ devices will be compatible with Flash®, but older versions on older devices can still be loaded with "legacy" builds still available from Adobe®. Android™ (Google®) cites the same reason Apple® did for the decision to end support for Flash®. Adobe® continues to release security patches to Flash Player® for Android™ until September 2013, announcing the "end of life" for Android™ Flash® September 10.
Android (Google) recommends youu se either Dolphin or Puffin as your browser if you must view Flash content, but they try to discourage it for the above outlined reasons.
