Flash Professional Crashing
In Flash Professional CS6 I made a motion tween. As I scroll along the timeline I right click to Free Transform the object so it hits specif locations as the timeline goes along. After a few points have been adjusted, the program crashes without warning.
I am using a Macbook Pro, bought in 2011 (just reached two years old). I have the Mountain Lion operating system. The version of flash that I have is 12.0.2.529 and I have completed all the updates which are online. Scroll down to see System Info and the Crash Report.
In the image below you can see the timeline. All the little dots are points that have been altered in the motion tween. On the stage you can see part of a bounding box. This is when the transform tool is on. As soon as I move the point while holding option, the program crashes.
Has anyone had issues of Flash Pro crashing for no reason? Found this link online: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash/kb/mountain-lion-support-flash-professional.html. Should I instal Flash CS5 instead?

I am not sure how to provide the sample file which is crashing?
Repro Steps:
1. I would create a motion tween
2. Make an end point on the timeline for the objects position
3. Retrace through each point on the timeline to make a path for the object to follow to reach the end point.
4. At each frame on the timeline which I was altering the shape, a black dot would appear.
5. I would use the Free Transform tool by right clicking on the object.
6. I would rotate/scale the object or Option+Click on a anchor point on the shape to just move that one point and not the entire shape.
7. Program would crash immediately after letting go of the mouse.

Flash professional crashing pc on compile errors
I seem to have put this in the wrong place before, so here it is in the correct area I hope

I have been working on an Air app in cs4. The version of Air is 1.5.
For some of the features in Air that would make things easyer for me, I need to upgrade.
So I downloaded cs6 to test out as it has Air 3.2
Problem I have found is that my project crashes the PC every time the compiler catch's an error. Any error.
I also reinstalled in case it was a bad install.
My system stats are : XP Prp 32bit sp3 with 3GB ram and all the latest updates.Firstly I must say that my OS has nothing wrong with it.
I like xpPro as it is the best out there. I will wait and see how win7 and 8 do before deciding to move.
If it is the instilation that might be "worn out", I periodicaly wipe my drive and reinstall so as to have the best setup possible. I also use windows steady state so I know that there will be no bug's lingering after a full boot.
(though I do not do a full boot every time whitch is true).
As for flash, I did download it from the site twice. Once as the "Master Collection" and again as a standalone download to test different instals. They both are the same.
As you sagested, I also re done Air. I un-instaled it first and then downloaded it and re-instaled it. The SDK was current.
On a side note, my flash cs4 has now stopped compiling. It goes through the motions and then nothing. Just a file with nothing in it.
The only thing off the top of my head would be that the Flash compiler is to blame.
I have not tested it with a normal flash doc yet as have only now thought about it while writing this, and if it did not work, would crash this message as well as the pc.
So Will do later though.

ok done a quick test...... only the AIr aps crash the computor, so what is it with Air????
I did think that it might have been depricated functions in Air, but that would not account for the standard errors.
That would only point to it being in the Air compile script. -

Flash Professional CC crashes when saving, corrupting files
My company upgraded from flash CS5 to Flash Professional CC just recently, and i was hoping for a more stable experience, as Crashes when saving from Flash CS5 happened allmost daily. Seem i was wrong, occasionally when saving Flash CC crashes, and ends up breaking my work files... I ususally manage hundreds of files during a week, so having a stable enviroment is quite important for me. Any suggestions? Other than getting rid of Flash, though this is fast moving up the list...

Guess i just have to work locally again, as i was forced to when using Flash CS5. Its frustrating, as some of the files (non-flash) i produce is edited by other colleagues on the server. And i need to sync those files back to my computer, to keep everything up to date... Not to mention i have to sync the files i produce to two different servers. A project consist of at least 40-80 flash files and each of them accompanied by several files... xml, images, sound, and so on... -
Flash Professional CS5.5 crashes while publishing for iOS

The problem is that Flash Professional CS5.5 crashes every time I try to publish my 'Hello World' project for iOS. The crash happens anytime I press the OK or Publish buttons while configuring the iOS Settings. This is the tutorial I am attempting to complete:

There could be an issue with your latest Java Runtime Environment. Could you please uninstall your current JRE and try install a version prior to that?.

Bug: Flash CS5+CS4 Professional crashes when compiling AS2 classes.
My name is Mario Gomes Cavalcanti, I'm the CEO of Mersica Inc. and the developer of the free, online graphic design software, image and photo editor Fatpaint.com.
Fatpaint is a Flash application, made using the Actionscript 2 programming language. This week we added some new functionality to the source code and after that, Flash CS5 professional IDE can no longer compile the project, it crashes on every attempt without any error messages.
We are talking here about a huge project with around 360 Actionscript 2 classes. The size if the our last successful compiled SWF file was around 800 kilobytes. This compilation wa done last week, prior to the latest addition/modification of source files. The project is mostly made of Actionscript 2 source code, it do not have much other stuff in it.
I would like assistence is resolving this issue... Why does Flash CS5 crash when compiling my Actionscript 2 classes?
I would like to send the project and source files to the developers of the Flash actionscript 2 compiler, so they can see why it cannot compile my files.
Fatpaint.com is probably the Flash application with the most sourcecode (classes) so I think it has something to do with that.

Flash Builder crashes Flash Professional CS6 on save
Hi,
I'm using Flash Builder 4.7 and Flash Professional CS6 for game development. When I'm saving an action script file in Flash Builder it sometimes crashes Flash CS6. It happens several times a day and it's really annoying. I'm working on iMac with Mac OS X 10.9.1. I've also checked that I've installed all available updates.
Please tell me how to fix that problem,
RegardsHere are some things that help me:
Open the version of Flash I want to use to compile the project first
Turn off Build Project Automatically and use Ctrl-B instead so you're just compiling when it makes sense for you rather than at every change.
Shared asset libraries may cause crashes during the "updating assets" phase, so avoid them if you can. If you really need them, open the file in Flash before you try to publish from FB. -
Flash Professional CC - Tool Crashes
When I click on the pencil or brush tool it crashes. My flash professional CC starts up fine and my computer is powerful enough to work it as my old one had much lower specs (using a Geforce 840m and i5 processor). Can someone help me fix this problem!!!

Flash professional CS5.5 text tool causes crash?
has anyone had this problem? No matter how I select to use the text tool, it freezes the program and crashes it. I am on a deadline and phone support cannot help me. I am running on a 64bit machine, and have looked everywhere for a solution to this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Why is Flash Professional CC 13.1.0.226 crashing when opening AIR publish settings?
An alert appears saying "Unknown error; quitting application" and when I click "OK" the app quits.

Flash Professional 5.5 crashes... all the time! (on PC and Mac)
Am I the only one who is experiencing constant crashing with Flash Pro 5.5 on both Mac and PC?
I have a mobile project that has a handful of *.as files and one primary *.fla file (~17MB) and Flash crashes on me ALL THE TIME when I'm working on the project. The timing/frequency of the crashes is varied - sometimes it crashes when I'm duplicating a symbol, sometimes it crashes when I delete a keyframe, sometimes it crashes when I test movie ... the list goes on. If my FLA was gigantic I might understand slugish performance at times - but a FLA < 20MB seems pretty modest. I also keep very few other apps open while I have Flash open.
My hardware is a macbook pro 4GB RAM (2010 model) and a Windows 7 x64 8MB RAM Intel PC. Both machines are fairly high end and varied in components (video card, sound card, etc) - so I have a hard time blaming any specific hardware element for the Flash Pro crashing. I'm running the Master Collection version of the Adobe apps (not that that matters) but it does add to my frustration that our company paid so much $$$ for that license but we're having to deal with so many crashes a day.
After working with Flash through most of my career (since Flash 1), I have never seen such buggy performance of the IDE. I am at my wits end with this. Can someone please let me know if they also experience these crashes? If there's anything I can do to stop/reduce them? And/or if the next update/iteration of Flash Pro will be more stable?

Hi i just got This program and after i started messing around with a flash template, it just stopped working.The last thing i done was export a .swf file and after that, it started just closing on loading the fonts :/

When I try to save in Flash Professional CC it crashes.
Just as the title suggests. I can only save/import/export at certain points meaning I lose a majority of my work if I don't save at the right time.

Flash Professional CS6 crash on launch, how do I fix it?

Flash CS4 Professional Crashing!
I was working on a project (on my USB memory stick) last night with no problems. However, when I tried to open the .fla up this morning it comes up with a black screen, said it had unexpectedly quit, and crashed. I then tried it again, the same thing happened. I tried the .swf just to see if that was still working ok, and that was fine. I thought I'd transfer the files over to my desktop on my laptop (Vista), just to see if I had anymore luck. At first, the document was actually loading, I could see all the items in the library, but none of the layers were showing up, therefore nothing was showing up on the stage. It wouldnt let me do anything on it, the layers never appeared, and it crashed! I've just tried it again from my desktop, and it's doing exactly what it did on my USB, black screen, then saying the program had to unexpectedly quit. Again, the .swf worked perfectly. I thought I'd try it with an earlier save of the .fla on my desktop, just to see if it was just the newer .fla causing the problem, or if it was Flash in general. The earlier save of the .fla worked perfectly, and flash didn't crash!
Is it a problem with Flash? Or could the .fla not have saved properly?
Are there any solutions? I really don't want to redo everything I did last night, but I guess I might have to!
