Flashplayer 9 crashes at myspace

Flashplayer 9 plugin in both FireFox and IE7 locks up quite
constantly at myspace.com. Anyone else having issues? Never had any
problems with Flashplayer 8. Flash problem or myspace, I
wonder....

Apparently this was a screen resolution issue. iTunes runs fine with a lower screen resolution. No other changes were made.
I really can't understand why yet, but the fact remains. I'll update this post if I can figure it out.
This kind of strange issues are the reasons why I use a Mac.

Adobe Flashplayer crashes once any video is started

As of today, I cannot watch any videos because Adobe Flashplayer crashed upon beginning any video.
I had nightly. Uninstalled it and then installed the regular firefox. Didn't help
Started in Safe Mode. Didn't help
Reinstalled Flash. Didn't help
Installed slightly older version of Flash. Didn't help
Even better yet, whenever I try to access trouble shooting information in firefox, the browser crashes every time without fail. I'll try to make a manual list of plugins and addons for you though.
I'm writing this from Chrome right now. Videos work here

Can you access Troubleshooting Information in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
Two ways to invoke the Safe Mode dialog:
(1) If Firefox is running,
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
(2) If Firefox is not running, hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox
In the small dialog that should appear, click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset)

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"
This change takes effect after you exit and restart Firefox.

Adobe flashplayer crashes on you tube

hello.for some reason when i log in to utube,i get the adobe flashplayer crashed message.ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling it.ive restored to earlier times.ive cleaned up the hard drive as much as i can at this point.Help!! you tube is the only place i usually go.i feel lost lol.

Flashplayer crashes in Firefox

My Adobe Flashplayer keeps crashing constanly whenever I access a website with any video player running. I'm running Firefox 14.0.1 and Adobe Flashplayer 11.3.300.271. I am running Windows 7, 64 bit system and AVG as my antivirus.
Any solutions?

Please try updating to Flash Player 11.4 and let us know if the crsahes continue.

[SOLVED] Flashplayer crash on particular website

Hello everyone. I'ma happy Archlinux user, but I'm also a basketball fan and I would like to watch game highlights and other videos on www.nba.com. Unfortunately EVERY video on this website causes my browser to crash. I tried it on 3 different PCs (with x86 and AMD64, intel, ati and nvidia graphics, and all kind of browsers), but the result is still the same. I must add that I can watch youtube and other similar sites without problems and the NBA website is the only one causing crashing for me.
If it can help I run KDEmod 4.4.1 at the moment (but with previous version I had the same problem) on all my PCs.
Is anyone able to reproduce this? Is it a problem with KDE?

Flashplayer crashes in Mozilla when playing Facebook Games

I have Mozilla Firefox latest version installed and most recent Flashplayer Running Windows 8 I can play the games in Internet Explorer and Chrome but the player lags really badly. In Mozilla it will run efficiently right up until it crashes. Sending multiple "crash reports" daily getting VERY frustrating.

Also, please update to Flash 11.6, which was released today.

Flashplayer crashing

I have tried to update all my Adobe products. When I go to play a game, it stalls and a minute or so later, tells me that Flashplayer has crashed. I click 'send crash report'. I've done this several times and even tried re-installing several times. Normally, I could fix this on my own. I have Windows 7 and use Firefox 6 or Google Chrome (updated recently, not sure of version). I have gone through my video/graphics cards and other accessories indicated on my computer and checked for updates. Everything is up to date. I'm at a loss as to what to do next.

Hi Deb,
I'm sorry you're running into crashes here. I'd like to help investigate further. If you're crashing in Firefox, can you get me one or two Report ID's? Here's what you need to do:
In the Firefox Location bar, type about:crashes and hit Return. A page listing submitted crash reports will appear.
Hold down the Ctrl key while you click on the latest crash under Report ID and choose Open Link in New Tab. A tab will open to a page on crash-stats.mozilla.com, saying that "Your report is being processed". When it is finished processing, your report will load.
Go back to the tab with your submitted crash reports and copy the long Report ID number for the latest crash (eg. The Report id starts with the string "bp-" as in this example: bp-6bf400e3-3b71-4717-9941-be6332110919)
Please post back with the report ID's and I'll follow up internally with our Mozilla expert.
If you're finding the crashes instead occur on Chrome let me know and I'll get you different steps we can take.

Adobe Flashplayer crashing

After installing the latest version of flash (10.1 I think) it keeps crashing while playing on a game that requires it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it just keeps happening. Can anyone help me with this please?

I need it for a kids game called Moshi Monsters. We have a subscription
which is fast running out.
It worked fine until I downloaded the lastest version (recommended) of
flashplayer a week or so ago.
Now it won't load and says it needs flashplayer installed when it is. I
have tried every browser and every version
And nothing works. It's driving me crazy. I spoke with our computer guy
and he said it looks like there are issues whith this version of flash. I
wish they would sort it out!

FlashPlayer crashes when JAWS is running

Hi there,
I have a website in Flash that consistently crashes IE when JAWS is running (it's fine otherwise).
It's a multipage Livecycle Guide. When you move to the second page, you get an error "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem with an add-on and needs to close"
The add-on is Flash Player FlDbg10e.ocx
I have tested this with Flash Player 9 and 10, on IE 7 and 8, with JAWS 10 and 11 - IE always crashes.
Any ideas?

Sounds like a bug that will be fixed in Flash Player 10.1

[Solved]KDE 4.6.3/firefox 4.0.1 flashplayer crashes exiting full...

Just updated to KDE 4.6.3 today, soon thereafter I went to southparkstudios.com using firefox 4.0.1 to watch an episode. The flash video played fine but when I go to leave the video's full screen mode it crashes X and drops me at the kdm screen. I tried it repeatedly and with two different kernels, the vanilla 2.6.38.5-1 and 2.6.38.5-1-lqx, with the same exact results.
I also have an Xfce 4.8.1 setup on another set of partitions (same kernels) with exactly the same browser with exactly the same add-ons and plugins and no probs whatsoever so it looks like its related to kde somehow.
I have a bunch of these in ~/.xsession-errors too.

Couldn't really find much else as it crashes silently. Just that the xserver was terminated unexpectedly
Anyway, I know these little issues do pop up with flash from time to time. And I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing similar issues and/or aware of any work-arounds.

Update - switching to flashplugin-beta 10.3r181 from the AUR solves the issue for me and seems to work quite well so far. And I didn't mention, 32 bit architecture here.

Flashplayer crashing in firefox

Why is my flash player constantly crashing in firefox. I have the most updated one download and am using firefox as my browser and am running windows 7..........please help, i cant play any games and it is driving me crazy!

I have been having the same problem like yours and I just followed the instructions given to you and this is how I got through: to follow the first line of instructions : click 'start' then click 'run' ( usually under the 'search' command on startscreen).
Then a little command window opens on the lower left corner of your screen, above where start button is; type in there what's on the first line of instr. "c:\..." and click 'ok', which opens up a list of flash files where you find
"mms.cfg" . Now right click on your mouse and choose "open with" command and there choose 'note pad'; a page opens with 2 lines on top and you type in what was given in the help response , ie "ProtectedMode=1"
I hope this will help solve both our problems. It sounds reasonable.

Flashplayer 9 and myspace

I am extremely frustrated! For some reason I cannot watch any
videos on myspace that people have uploaded to that site. However,
I can watch videos on youtube and other sites. The video doesn't
even load, once I press play the screen goes black and then a
frowny face that says "error" appears. I have uninstalled and
reinstalled the player and it didn't resolve the problem. It did
work at one time and I haven't made any changes to my computer that
I know of. Does anyone know why it will play every video except for
the ones that were uploaded thru myspace? Please reply.

i have the same problem , as does my wife on her computer,
this is all new as of updating to v9 of flash, and some goofy
changes done by myspace. i dont know exactly what has changed but
very few people have it. all i can think of is people behind
routers or proxies may be affected.i've been googling for almost a
month, and all these #$^&&^#$ pimp your myspace sites hog
up 90% of some 5 million results, great. myspace doesn't have squat
on their site about it, and i only found this thread through
google, searching the forums here after registering still wouldn't
yeild this thread, so i guess we're out of luck..

Ever since I updated to 11,8,800,88 beta,
FlashPlayer crashed under following conditions:
・Viewing live streming using rtmp
・OS,Browser:Win7 IE9,Win7 Firefox 21,win8 IE10
・FlashPlayer version :11,8,800,88 beta
・audio codec:speex ( nellymoser ,this problem does not occurs. )

Frequently issues with decoding are specific to particular bitrates and encoding flags. The fastest way to get a resolution is to file a bug and provide a URL or locally-executable example that consistently reproduces the problem. If I have to ask someone to create test media, it will add several weeks to the turnaround as the request will go to the back of the existing queue. I can route complete bugs directly to domain experts for investigation.
