Flex & ESB ( SOA )

Hi,
I'm new in Flex technologies & java Technologies, but i
liked too much the way it's resolved the communication with de Java
Services & my Pojos.
The question is:
My Flex Client , define a .As…. comunicate via LCDS
with the server to an Java-Assembler-Service, who recibed the
petition …..¿¿¿¿ the Java-Assembler
comunicate with de ESB ( Mule ) for the especific services???...
the ESB route to the services-server the petition ( jBoss )…
a java service attend the petition
How i should communicate the Assembler with de Services??? i
want to keep the non-XML-parsing-model..
Thanks! and Happy new Year!!

Chanyoung,
I think it depends how you look "SOA". In my point of view, both j2ee ,
corba, .NET and Tuxedo are SOA bricks. The SOA infrastructure can bring a
uniform "service" vision by combining all these backbone technologies
together. The combination here definitely means part of the integration
capability. So from my point of view, constructing a SOA IT infrastructure
doesn't means we ignore the traditional technology purposely.

I Now the tuxedo's update feature to SOA like XML and metadata repository
and WTC etc.
We can apporoach SOA in two way,
One is integration with SOA Based Web/WAS Service and adaptor in ESB, in
that point tuxedo is good.
the other is point of reusabilty of service
as i know TP Monitor is written C,C++, CORBA
So C language feature and C++, Corba have limitation of reusabilty(not
code reusability, i mean service reusability) although some are object
based designed.
They are hard coded in application and it lacks of reusable architecure
and granularity of component and in data sturcture point of view not fit
SOA.
My opion is TP Monitor itself is not fit for SOA but it can integrated
with SOA based Web/WAS or ESB.
What is your opinion?

  • Oracle BPEL/ESB/SOA vs SAP XI

    Hi,
    Wondering! What would the percentage of implementations SAP XI vs Oracle BPEL/ESB/SOA for next couple of years. I just wanna explore and know more about them.. How's Oracle SOA/BPEL/ESB doing in terms of new customers/implementations and what are all market trends and future jobs.. Also throw the light on SAP XI side... Is it wise to choose Oracle BPEL/ESB/SOA to get better jobs? Every one talking about SAP XI etc... How about Oracle Fusion?
    I appreciate your opinions/facts/guess or whatever.
    Thanks in advance..

    Giri,
    SAP XI is something centered around SAP implementations and I am not very much sure of its architecture.
    On the other hand when it comes to BPEL, SOA, ESB, they are all industry wide standard and Oracle is just one of the vendors providing tools to implement the solutions based on these industry standards.

    Hey
    i m not sure about the Oracle products but as far as SAP XI is concerned, its picking up in US.SAP is now recommending to use XI for all the integration instead of Point to point integration as was done earlier.more and more SAP customers are adopting XI and as the market for SAP grows , XI is bound to grow.
    just my suggestion
    Thanx

    Can someone please explain to me the following error?
    Designtime cache has not been initialized Please look in logs for following signs of failure. Fix them and restart. (a) Database access errors (b) ESB Bootstrap errors (c) OC4J class load errors (d) Product installation errors (e) Export ESB params and verify if host and port parameters are correct. Please contact Oracle Support if unable to fix the issue.
    I looked into the log.xml and it states

    Also i cant manually put my oc4j-ra.xml on the server i have to have a unix admin do it so the path i told them to place it in is

    We are running an ftpadapter scenario here

    I get this error when trying to deploy to my ESB server and when viewing my ESB via the web or console whatever you would call it. Also im very new to this so when you say esb_parameter i sort of know what you mean than dhydration store you lose me. Now are you saying the host and port name in the oc4j file for the server that my soa server is connecting to ?
    Below is my oc4j file im using this error started after i inserted the last entry ( Im 80 %) sure

    Hi
    JDeveloper Extensions (SOA or BPM) do NOT have any relationship to where the JDeveloper is installed (like which middleware home). As mentioned, its better to install JDeveloper in its own home.
    NOW, coming to getting the extensions for BPM or SOA, sometimes the Oracle Site may be down and hence online update may not work. Please see this below post, specially the 2 links I pasted there. I verified, they have downloadables for 11.6 version also. Just download them and apply the extensions manually.

  • Payload of Successful Transactions in ESB SOA Suite 10g

    Hi,
    It seems that the payload of successful transactions can't be viewed from ESB Console. The oraesb schema table ESB_FAULTED_INSTANCE provide payloads of failed transaction. So, pls can anyone tell where is the payload stored (which table or log)?? It is stored for sure since fields can be tracked from the ESB Console but where is it!!.
    Regards,
    Susmit

    Hi Arik,
    I want to insert all those using one DBAdapter. can you suggest for this..currently i am using stored procedure for inserting both parent and child table with one DBAdapter..i want to insert without using stored procedure and one DB invoke.
    Thanks,

  • With Open ESB CD in hand, how do I get started?

    I spent time at the Open ESB booth at JavaOne 2007 talking with the Sun representatives and engineers about Open ESB.
    I'm glad I did, but I'm having a heck of a time getting started.
    I have all of the requirements set-up running on Solaris 10 development server.
    I've used the Service Oriented Architectures using BPEL from Java BluePrints, which really helped, but I feel I don't know enough yet to apply it towards real world projects yet.
    What other resources are recommened to learn more about SOA, BPEL on the JBI Framework?
    Thanks,

  • Distributed environment with Open ESB

    Hello,
    I know that JBI specification 1.0 have not distributed runtime defined. Then Open ESB distribute his environment through JMS BC.
    JMS BC have two roles (consumer and provider), and this received or send normalized messages from/to NMR and converts this menssages, it's right?
    But i have some questions:
    In this scenery:
    OpenESB1 [JMS BC]-------------------[JMS BC] OpenESB2
    - In a logical approach, a service exposes in OpenESB1 should be accessible form OpenESB2? in a transparent way? or it's neccesary to define a proxy bindind in OpenESB2?
    - How management and monitoring is implemented in this scenery?
    Thanks!

  • Failure upon calling web service on the ESB deployed from jDeveloper

    Hello!
    I've created a database adapter and a routing service that calls the database adapter. When registering the services on the ESB, I get error when I try to call it, as the Wsdl references a wsdl file on http://localhost:8888...... As I see it, it should refer to in on the same server as the esb (soa suite) runs? I think this might be a deployment issue in jDeveloper, maybe ant? Any clue on this?
    brgds, Paul Jørstad

    Thank you very much for you reply!
    But I do not get any further.. In the ESB control, the Soap Endpoint URI still says:
    SOAP Endpoint URI
    http://localhost:8888/event/xal/rs_product_p_get_complete_bom_flat
    And in my wsdl file:
    <soap:address location="http://oslsoad1/event/xal/rs_product_p_get_complete_bom_flat"/>
    I've tried to de-register, and register the service.

  • Sending a dynamic query to DB adapter

    Hi,
    I am using jdeveloper 10.1.3.4. As per the requirements, I am supposed to have only one DB adapter which will handle all the operations on the database tables. The SQL is created at the runtime depending on the input. Is there any option for DB adapter where I can pass this dynamic query?
    Thanks
    Taru

    Taru,
    I assume you're talking about the ESB/SOA Suite DB adapter - in which case, the SOA Suite forum would probably yield you better results.

  • WS not created in application server control after deployment

    Hi,
    I just tried to deploy fulfillmentESB project(SOADemo Projects) from Jdev to Oracle App server control. But there was no webservice created in Oracle application server control under webservices link....plz help me...
    Actually the steps which i had followed to deploy that fulfillment project are:
    * right-click fulfillmentESB
    * select Register with ESB, Integration connection
    after which the fulfillment webservice can be seen in ESB control as well as application server control. But i could not able to see webservice created in application server control.
    Also i tried deploying the fulfillmentESB using EAR file - no use
    So kindly give me some steps to solve this issue...
    -Indhu

    Here is an example of the two steps required to deploy a Web Service application, using the ant task for the 10.1.3.x release.
    <project name="CalculatePrice" default="all" basedir="." xmlns:o="antlib:oracle">
      <property file="build.properties"/>
      <property name="deployeruri"        value="deployer:oc4j:${oc4j.host}:${oc4j.admin.port}"/>

    -->
      <property name="bindweb.website" value="default-web-site"/>
      <property name="app.name" value="sdots"/>
      <target name="deploy">

      </target>Not sure if this applies to your specific scenario.
    ps. cross posting on the different OTN forums is generally not a good idea as you get threads out of sync. In this specific case, you are running into an issue with a specific ESB demo, and the ESB-SOA forum is definitly a better palce to get specific help.

  • Integration server details

    Hi...
    In JDeveloper we need to create a connection to a integration server before we can deploy BPEL/ESB code...
    Wht is this Integration server?? Where is the integration server located ?? Is it in the same OC4j as Oracle App server, BPEL process manager..??
    Please suggest some pointers where I can find details of it....
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Integration Server is the one (OC4J Instance or JVM) where you have installed the BPEL, ESB (SOA Suite) components. You would have given a specific name to the <oc4jinstance> at the time of installation.
    It creates by default with a name HOME, and the other one is created to install the SOA Suite.
    In JDeveloper, you create Integration Server by using the Application Server connection created and it will be used by deploying your BPEL, ESB Processes.
    Thanks
    Nags.

  • Project Muse

    Sorry for the cross posting but this topic is not so easy to fit in one category.
    Saw an interesting news item in computerworld.co.nz about a new high end GUI for SAP called project Muse. It is supposed to be built with Flash and Flex plus SOA/ESA architecture from SAP. Anyone know something more about this? Is this just a name for the visual composer + FLEX that is being rolled out or is this something completely different? I made a search throughout the whole SDN and saw no mention of project MUSE but I am hoping someone is willing to shed some light on this. I had already decided to spend some time learning more about FLEX and FLASH and I think this type of a GUI could really solve a lot of problems, including being browser and device independent which is excellent news. (most browsers run Flash but not all devices yet).
    Hoping for some interesting discussion about this and the future of the GUI as well. Does this mean that webdynpro, the new darling from SAP is not going to be so widespread as expected?
    Bjorn

    Although I am not the right person for UI, the idea behind MUSE (as far as I understand) is not to replace UI technologies, but to give the user the choice of a) different UIs (WebDynpro "HTML", Flex,...) and b) the choice of a rich vs. a lean client. And that at much more performing as it is used to be.
    You also have to understand tha WebDynpro is not just a UI, but a whole framework. The WD engine will be able to take the UI definition (SAP defined a standard for that) and render the UI in HTML, Flex, and eventually other UI technologies. So we are going from an OS-, database- and programming language independency also to a UI-technology independency.
    MUSE was shown as a sneak preview of what SAP is working on in the UI area.
