FM for Overdue Entries in SAP inbox

Hi Everyone.
I am trying to get the list of work items under overdue entries in SAP inbox folder.
Is there any FM to get this list directly.

Thanks for your reply. I tried to check the SWWIHEAD table. I searched a workitem from workflow folder and one from over due entries. For both the work items, the field WI_DH_STAT is same.
I need to get the list of items in overdue folder.

You could try fm SAP_WAPI_GET_WORKITEM_DETAILS.
Otherwise you can get it from SWWWIHEAD, field WI_DH_STAT.

For PR release we need to export and import from both side.
I want to say that if PR is release from your user id then it has exported from that client.
But if it is not get updated in target place then import has to be done in target place to see changes.
you can check code in both places and find out wether updated code is there or not.
If not then ask the basis person to check and import code in target client.

Read and Unread flag for Workflow entries in the inbox.

Hi there!
I was wondering if there is any mechanism or way to detect that the user have read a particular approval. else it will be mark as unread. It is of similar concept to our email as well as the Alert link in SRM. If this approval(item) is not accessed b4 by the user, it will be marked as unread in the workflow entries in the inbox. The field to reflect read and unread flag is a customize field, take note.

SAp Inbox entries for each one Purchase Requisition Position.

I made a workflow for a general release of a Purchase Request.
When I asked for a request in my inbox appear as many entries as my position has ordered. I just need you to see one, because I need releas a document and not by position.
Im using a user decision task.

the reason for multiple workitem in my inbox is because
I used BUS2009.
The workflow mapped to BO BUS2009 you dont want right, so deactivate the workflow.
Now Im using BUS2105... but I have a new problem... the ReleaseStepCreated
event not trigger my Workflow, in the SWEC set BANF document
with BUS2105 and my WF... to create.
PR your creating in ME51N right, 'ReleaseStepCreated' is the std. event it will trigger by default in swel once you create the PR.
For picking the approver you can use, User Exit or from Table Entries.
WS20000077 --> is the std. workflow for PR.

Authorization to disable SAP Inbox Forward function for specific Work Items

Hi.
I recently solved a case for a customer of mine regarding authorizations for work items. They have several workflows running, but for this specific custom developed workflow, users should not be allowed to use the SAP Inbox Forward button.
I started by creating a new task classification (Z_FW) which I implemented on the workflow tasks where the forward functionality should be disabled. Now for test purposes I created a dummy user which I initially gave only authorization to the tcode SBWP, then I manually added the authorization object S_WF_WI.
For this entry I allowed all activities for work item type W and F for classification 1, 2, 3 and NO_CLASS (SAP Standard classification).
Now to my understanding this would give the test user authorization to perform all activities on Work Items and Workflows which are classified with one of the above, but also prevent me from doing anything with Workflows and Work Items with classification Z_FW.
However, to my surprise everything seems to work perfectly with just this entry. I am able to execute and forward work items with the standard classification, while I am able to execute, but not forward, work items with classification Z_FW.
My intention was to add another entry for authorization object S_WF_WI, for classification Z_FW with all activities except forwarding. But when I tried that, the only change was that forwarding was enabled for the work items with classification Z_FW, which I didnu2019t want.
Now can anyone explain to me why this is working? I am not too familiar with SAP Authorization as my area is mainly ABAP and WF, but his just does not seem logical.

Task -> Additional data -> Agent Assignemt -> Maintain -> Attributes -> Forwarding not allowed.

Exchange Fluctuation Entry for Segment account in SAP

Dear All,
I have created segment account for two branch in SAP
for each branch we are maintain foreign exchange gain and loss account seperatly.In SAP, only two account can be mapped in GL determination for only one branch.
How to account exchange
fluctutaion entry for both branch.

Hi,
As on one account can be defined as Exchange rate gain/loss account to book the exchange fluctuations, you can try the option of manually transfering the relevant balance from the G\L which has been defined as default to the other G\L Account to book for the other branch transactions.

Workitem exists in SAP Inbox But does not appear in UWL for some users

We have a peculiar problem with a standard workflow. This workflow is working fine in SAP Inbox and UWL in portal for most of the users. But sometimes, it does not send workitem to UWL for some users.

I had experienced this type of problem as well, just to share it could be that the Identity of the Portal user misses a role which can be solved by any user assigning the identity in their identity management or it could also be the connection status of the UWL to the backend, there should be at least two connection statuses for workflow items to get into the UWL I could not recall it but I would post it here once I have the access to our system again.

To get the High priority work items you can use the table SWWWIHEAD.
using this table you can get the Priority, Status, and agent of the work item. Using this you can build the logic to
display the pop up with this details.

when I try to load data into DSO.. I'm getting errors like..
Internal error: Invalid Aggregation Info No entry for InfoObject: 0CRM_NO_IO - contact SAP
I'm not using this IO. not only this, I'm getting this error for all IO which I dint map in Transformations... any ideas???

Understanding impact of using Sap Inbox for MSS Notification.

Up till we never used SAP Inbox for any business purpose. Now we are deciding it to use for MSS notification that is going to instantaneously increase volume of notification in SAP inbox.
I need to understand will there be any technical implication of this increased in data volume.
Thoughts ?

I used source system in some projects and had same scenario as you have. Its fine . You can satge the data in one DSO from different source systems and then can split regionally based on source system .
Source system ( 0LOGSYS and 0SOURSYSTEM) should be part of your key and should be the last one in sequence of keys , will help in improving performance for any read on this DSO .
I really dont remember facing any issue.

I did some testing a while ago and found that a JOIN is usually a bit more efficient than FOR ALL ENTRIES. This wasn't always the case though, so the best thing to do is to write it both ways and see which is faster.

I have activated WS 20000317- BUS2038 CREATED, BUS2038 INPROCESSAGAIN & WS 65400037 QMSM RESPONSIBLEISCHANGED in configuration for notification workflow .My requirement is to send the notification automatically to the concerned person i.e person responsible field in notification screen .Now when I am checking in SAP inbox there are so many notifications of different types like breakdown , general & also preventive request which I have scheduled through background job i.e IP30 in workflow , overdue entries & incorrect entries group .
Can anybody pl tell me why all these notifications are coming as these are not sent by anyone? Also what does these workflow, overdue entries & incorrect entries mean in SAP inbox?

BUS2038-Created (WS 20000317) Work flow would be triggered at the creation of any notification in the SAP System. That is why whenever a notification is created either through IP30 or manually, the work flow would be triggered. The point to ponder here is that the notifications listed in the particular User inbox should have the same Person Responsible as the User. If not then there must be a problem as you have customized it to be emailed to the appropriate Person Responsible.
The Over Due Entries are those entries for which deadline has been missed. Suppose the notification was to be performed on High Priority basis with start and end date specified. Now the person responsible does not complete the notification in the time specified in the notification then the notification would be moved from inbox to Overdue Entries.
Incorrect Entries are those entries for which a correction is needed. There is either no Person Responsible given or the Person Responsible does not correspond to a user, any correction regarding the receiver of the email message.
