As per your previous update this was working for the only one user i.e. agent B.
This should also work for the two user. Please check the authorizations with the basis team regarding this
( Authorization of user A, B and who executing the SAP_WAPI_FORWARD_WORKITEM )
Alternate Solution :
Make user B active substitute user of user A. Now whenever the user A receive the workitem user B also get the save workitem autometically.
You can use the following FM to maintain the substitition.
SAP_WAPI_SUBSTITUTE_MAINTAIN ( for new substition )
SAP_WAPI_SUBSTITUTE_ACTIVATE ( make active so that user B receive the workitem of user A at realtime )
SAP_WAPI_SUBSTITUTE_DEACTIVATE ( Deactive it, substitution will be there but User B will receive the workitem of user A )
SAP_WAPI_SUBSTITUTE_DELETE ( Delete substitution )

How to send request to web service using .pem certificate.

Dear All,
I have a .pem, WSDL file and (Request and Response format), this files are provided by the customer, now I have generated the ServiceClass using WSDL file using wsdl.exe.
Now when I send the request I am getting error as "The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error
occurred on a send" when I told my customer to remove the certificate validation from their web service the "Request
and Response both are working fine".
When I opened the .pem file in notepad the content was

I want to know what else I have to do my customer have given me only .pem file with -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- and -----END CERTIFICATE----- nothing else in the file.
Can anybody please help me in this, below is my code snapshot.

Hi,
This issue might be due to the invalid .pem certificate file.
Make sure to include the beginning and end tags on each certificate.
The result should look like this:

Split this into 2 scenarios
1. HTTP to SOAP (Request) treated as Asynchronous.
2. SOAP to HTTP (Responce) treated as Asynchronous.
For HTTP to SOAP synchronous scenario
Here the receiver side request and responce structures no need to create, the receiver client will provide you the XSD file, on that XSD file having the request and responce message structures, so you have to import that to XI server as External definition.
For sender HTTP you have to create 2 data types, 2 message types as well as 2 message interfaces, 2 message mappings for request and responce messages and 2 service/Message interfaces (HTTP is outbound and SOAP is inbound).
Configuration objects are same.

Connecting and sending data to web service

Hi,
I have to implement the functionality in PDF document to connect with the web service and send the form data in xml format on Click event of a button inside the form.
During the initial development and testing I have found that document can only connect with the Web Service from within LiveCycle Designer or Adobe Pro. It doesn't work with the Reader.
After surfing the internet I have come to know that Reader extensions are required along with Adobe Reader to communicate with the web services. Am I right?
Furthermore, what I have to do is to distribute the PDF form to a number of people who will fill the form and submit the form data by clicking the Submit button (which will internally communicate with the web service to send data) on the form. So if extensions are required to communicate with web services from Reader, then what I am assuming is that all those people must have extensions installed on their machines along with Reader.
On some forum I have also read that you only need to install the Extensions on the Designer machine and they are not compulsory to be on every client machine. i.e. Exntesions enable the web services communication features in the PDF form during design time. Is it true?

Be careful, your question should be posted in "LiveCycle Reader Extensions" forum. LiveCycle Data Services doesn't deal with these features.
Nevertheless, to use webService calls from a PDF opened in the free Adobe Reader, you need to Reader extend your form.
You can use Acrobat Pro to extend it if the PDF will not be used by more than 500 people.
If you plan to reach more than 500 people, then you must consider LiveCycle Reader Extensions. This limitation is explained in the Acrobat EULA.
The final users only need the Adobe Reader, they won't have to install any extension or plug-in.

Axis and Mime to send Images with Web Services

Hi, I have been reading a lot of information about MIME and how I have to send images or attachaments with Web Services, and I am a little lost. I would to find a simple example to use MIME with AXIS 1.4 . Do anybody know where I can find some example to use attachements with AXIS???

When you are using JAX-WS, there is a tool wsimport, with which you are going to generate the artifacts required to implement the web service.
When you pass the WSDL as a parameter to the wsimport tool, it will be create the required beans also(JAXB Objects).
So need of any other external implementation of JAXB when you are working with JAXWS

Sending Vectors Over Web Services?

Can you transfer a Vector over WebLogic web services? I have been able to transfer
an array of JavaBeans, but not a vector.

The WLS web services documentation mentions the types you can exchange using RPC
style web services. They are
Java primitives
Java primitive wrappers
Java bean instances (nested beans as well)
Arrays of the above except prmitive wrappers
Document, Element and DocumentFragment
This means you can't exchange vectors or collection. This may be for supporting
inter-operabibility with other SOAP toolkit providers.

How to send Attachments vis web service response?

Have created a custom plsql type webservice.
How do we send a file(say a blob object) as an attachment?
Cannot be sent as a blob object return parameter.
Any body have encountered this requirement?

Hi Abdullah,
this is only possible if there is an extension scenario for the Query "Outbound" available. You added already the "Inbound" Query but I am pretty sure that there is a second scenario for the QueryCustomerIn for the "Outbound".
Just check out the available options of the process extension scenario you are using already and you will find it. Check it, activate your xbo and the response should also have your field

I am trying to read a JMS topic, retrieve an XMLBean from the queue, and send it
via web services developed in Workshop. Everything seems to deploy fine, but
when I post a message to the topic, it just disapears. No logging, no movement
to the specified error queue, and println doesn't print. How do I do this?

Have you gone through the tutorial "how to" [1] on this subject? There
is a basic JMS/webservice example [2], outside of WLW, that may be
useful in validating your JMS/server configuration. Also, be sure to
check the server log file for warning/error messages.

Web Service Tester - ADF_FACES 60097 error

Hi Mike / Everyone,
I created a very simple process to test it through Web Service Tester, however when clicking on "Send" button in Web Service Tester, i get the following error:

Error while invoking web services from Proxy services in OSB

I have a Proxy Service of message type in Oracel Service Bus 10gR3 and it passes the incoming messages from a JMS Queue to Business Service of Web Services type. This Web Service is hosted in Glass Fish v3 and it's binding style is RPC. The JRE used in both the servers are 1.6.0_20. The JMS message is of Text type. The Web Services at the Glass Fish throws MessageCreationException for any content of the JMS message. However, it works fine if Business Service's test client is invoked from the OSB'S Admin Console. However, the same will not work if Proxy Service's test client is called.

Let me explain what I am trying to achieve. Our application receives data from multiple sources - from mainframe using FTP, JMS Queue and BPM application using Web Services. The data from all these sources are sending to a Web Service running in GlassFish V3. To handle this I have created three Proxy Services and one Business Service on OSB. The Business Service is of type Web Service using the same WSDL from the target Web Service.
The Proxy Services are configured as follows:
Proxy 1 (type - Messaging service) listens to the JMS Queue and receives JMS Text Message -> Business Service(B1) (Web Service).
Proxy 2 (type - Messaging service Polls files from the FTP Server -> Business Service(B1) (Web Service).
Proxy 3 (type - Web service) is invoked by the BPM application and sends a String -> Business Service(B1) (Web Service).
All the Proxies route to the same Business Service - B1 which calls the Web Service in GlassFish. The only Proxy that works fine is Proxy 3 which is created using the same WSDL of the Web Service. In the other two proxies it thows the same exception in GlassFish as I mentioned before.

Is there a way to get a dump of the raw request data of a web service call?

Hello experts,
on our SAP machine we provide a web service based on a normal SAP function module. The service is working fine, but one of the external systems (web service clients) does have a problem when using non-ASCII characters within the request XML data.
Ok, so I thought I check whats going on in soapUI, but there the same request works fine, even with the non-ASCII characters. So it seems soapUI can correctly use the encoding as it should be, whereas the faulty client can't.
Hence I wanted to check the payload trace in SOAMANGER, but unfortunately there is no trace if this error occured. It seems the error occurs in SAP even before any trace can be made (at least via SOAMANGER).
So my question is: Do I have any other option to get a 1:1 copy of the whole request the client is sending to the web service on the SAP machine? Or is the only option we have to use a tcpdump on the OS level of the SAP machine?

You can try using the ICF Recorder in TCode SICF, steps below:

That should at least catch the entire client request (1:1) before the error occurs. Remember to de-activate the recorder after you're done. There's also an option to activate a ICF trace using the similar menu path, this also should be de-activated once you're completed.
Regarding the SOAMANAGER traces, it needs to be activated before anything is logged there. That might be why you're not seeing anything there.

Attachment in WLS 7 sp2 Web Service

Hi, I'm trying to send to a Web Service in WLS7 sp2 SOAP message with attachments. My problem: when I don't add any attachment to SOAP message all go OK, but when I add an attachment with the "href" attribute in an element of the message (I need do it because I use the MM7 protocol of 3GPP), WLS7 donÂ´t accept my message and tell me: "The ID referenced by ..... is unknow". The Content-ID of attachment is equal to value of the href attribute.

Currently there is no option to turn off security check.
I think you can use a servlet filter mapped to the URL
of your service, instead of a proxy servlet?

Problem parsing xml(J2ME Web Service spec) containing image in cldc/midp

I have created a restful web service that generates xml file in app server. I have created xml file using JAXB2.1 spec. This xml file has many elements starting from char data to image (binary data). I could successfully create xml file and developed another test client to read the same file using JAXB. However, I am finding a problem while getting the image in the java me client (cldc1.1 and midp2.0).
I am using J2ME Web Services Specification, using javax.xml.parsers.SAXParser to parse the xml file. Parsing is successful and got the character data. But the image data is not accurate, so I am not getting the image. I suspect the problem is with encoding but not sure how to solve this. At the server end, I verified that xml file is encoded with "UTF-8" encoding, not sure how to decode at the client end.
I am totally confused as how to get the accurate image data, not sure if I use kxml parser would solve my problem.
I would really appreciate if somebody can get back to me as this is very very important.

Try to send to your web service the byte array instead of string and then convert the byte array into an image
using a method like the following one in your service:

}There can be some problem between encoding in J2ME and .Net so try different encodings in gathering the image bytes in your j2ME application, but, instead of jpg which has more encodings, try png that is a more standardized image compression(open standard).

You need web services URI when you create connectors, fill the Parameters values in connector, when you configure connector while configuring Training and Verification system.

Maybe go in your CUP->connector and copy paste a connector you have configured for provisioning Portal. Just an example

How to bind list data to XML Web service request

How do I bind specific columns in a DataGrid to the Web
service request? I'm having trouble finding any documentation that
addresses that specific pattern, i.e. sending a complex list to the
server via a Flex Web service send() command. I'm fairly new to
Flex programming and don't know if what I want to do is possible.
Here what I've been able to do so far.
1. Using a Web service called a service on the server and
retrieved a complex list.
2. Poplulated a DataGrid with the result
3. The user has selected multiple rows from the DataGrid
using a checkbox column
4. The user pressed a button that calls a Web service send().
This Web service should only send data from only two columns and
only for those rows the user has checked.
5. I can loop over the DataGrid and find the selected rows
and put them in another ArrayCollection called 'selectedRows'.
The issue is that I don't know how to bind 'selectedRows' to
the Web service. Right now I'm reading up on "Working with XML" in
the Programming with ActionScript 3.0 chapter. But I'm just fishing
here. No bites yet.

Don't bind. Build the request object programatically, as you
are doing with your selectedRows AC, and send(myObject) that.
