FNDREPRINT

Question

We are researching the possibility of using this concurrent program to workaround a strange problem. In order for it to work for us as we would like, it needs to print the output file of any concurrent request, using the request id as an input parameter. There are no parameters currently defined on the definition of this program. Could we define our own program, using the fndreprint executable, with the request id as a parameter and have it work as we need?
I can't find any info on fndreprint in the docs anywhere and could really use some assistance.

Write PL/SQL package with one of the parameters as Parent Request Id. Get all the Child Request Ids based on the Parent Request Id. Call API fnd_request.submit_request to submit the fndreprint executable:
fnd_request.submit_request(application => 'FND',
     program => 'FNDREPRINT',
     description => NULL,
start_time => NULL,
     sub_request => FALSE,
     argument1 => child request id);
Before you call this API, call the following API to set print options:
Fnd_Request.set_print_options (p_printer,
          p_style,
          p_copies,
          TRUE,
          'N');
