    repost...
    I found like two of the projects weblogic-EJB.jar is having the same entry i.e in Project Model and OASIS Model.
    I removed one entry in OASIS Model and the deployment is complete but the task is not initiating in the BPM workspace.
    The duplicate entry
    <weblogic-enterprise-bean>

  • Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise Deployment Issues using SCCM 2012 R2

    Hi,
    I have been trying to deploy Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise to Windows 8.1 machines that are identical, using SCCM 2012 R2.
    The Adobe package seems fine, because it seems to deploy successfully to some machines. And SCCM 2012 R2 has been configured correctly, as I can deploy other software using it, and again, it deploys Adobe CC successfully to some of the machines.
    I have tried comparing the package that is downloaded on the test machine/client machine, with the original package on the distribution point, using Beyond Compare, and there are no differences.
    I have contacted Adobe Enterprise Support, and they asked me to send to them log files from Event Viewer, the msi installer, and other Adobe logs, from the machine that failed the deployment. However, after Adobe studying them, they told me that they could not identify any problems... Strange, because I could have sworn that I saw error 1603 pop up over 20 times on different machines indicating that the 'Set-up.dat' file had a problem with it.
    After all the testing on over 20 identical machines (same hardware/same software), using different configurations on SCCM 2012 R2 and the client machines, I still can't seem to have a reliable solution to deploying Adobe CC.
    The fact that it deploys successfully on one machine and fails on another, or sometimes deploy to two machines and fail on another (simultaneously), is something that I don't understand.
    Another thing is that, if I retry the deployment 10-15 times after it failed the first time, it might go through...
    Adobe Enterprise Support asked me if they could remote into a machine that failed the deployment to have a look at it and I agreed to that option, but it seems like my issue has been ignored because they never got back to me.
    Has anyone had this kind of problem or anything similar before?
    I need to be able to deploy this remotely to 100+ machines. So installing manually is not an option.
    Any help is appreciated.
    This was posted in the wrong section a few days ago. I'm hoping I can get some help here.
    Case Number: 1862659812
    UPDATE: I spoke to Adobe Customer Support and after 1.5 hours on the phone with a remote session going on, problem was still not solved or identified. Additional log files have been sent and now I'm waiting for a call back.

    Hi Robert,
    We seem to be having a very similar issue.  Our installs would randomly fail with error code 1603 and an error message about a fault in Set-up.dat.  Failure rate was near 95% on our 900 machines.  Adobe Support and Karl having been looking into our issues but so far no solution has been found.
    Having done a lot of investigating we've managed to deploy our package using a schedule task running as a domain admin.  This is a nasty solution and we don't intend on using this permanently, but we needed to get the package out.

    Indicates it can't find the Media_db.  We noticed that the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\caps doesn't get created on the machines were the install fails, so error message is correct in that there isn't a Media_db.db.  Sysinterals Process Monitor seems to show that the setup tried to create the folder/files but they don't actually get created.  Copying a Media_db into the folder from another machine seems to allow the installation to almost finish, but unsurprisingly you end up with problems later on.

  • 12c SOA composite deployment issue using maven

    I am facing issue with 12c SOA composite deployment using maven. I execute the below command for deploying any composite. (Note: Update and run init.cmd file before running the below maven command)
    mvn pre-integration-test –f soa-pom.xml –Dcomposite.name=TestSOAProj –Dcomposite.version=1.1
    Issues:
    As seen above, I specified composite version to be deployed as 1.1 in pom.xml file, but maven deploys the composite with version that is present in composite.xml. It does build the jar file with the version specified in the pom i.e. TestSOAProj_rev1.1.jar, but when it deploys I see the composite with version as 1.0 (this version is in composite.xml). The out of the box maven script is not overwriting the revision in the composite.xml with the value specified in the pom file.
    Also, is there a way to pass the partition name as an user input parameter in the pom file. I tried this with the out of the box pom file by giving the partition name as something other than ‘default’, but the maven script ignores this and always deploys to ‘default’.
    I am not sure if I am missing anything here. Please suggest.

  • Deployment Issues using Java Web Start

    I am attempting to deploy a Java application that works in JDeveloper. The app has a Database connection to a MSSQL 2000 Server which is loaded into the active Project Libraries as Other JBDC. When I deploy the app using Java Web Start I receive the following error: com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SqlServerDriver.
    How to I need to configure my deployment so the JDBC works properly? Thanks in advance

    I got it to work with the following settings:
    1. edit ur ctbuild.xml file to have these settings:
    <include name="BC4J/lib/msbase.jar"/>
    <include name="BC4J/lib/mssqlserver.jar"/>
    <include name="BC4J/lib/msutil.jar"/>
    Then have the same jar files in localmt.jsp as

    <jar href="adfjars/BC4J/lib/mssqlserver.jar" />
    <jar href="adfjars/BC4J/lib/msutil.jar" />
    2. edit data-sources.xml file, if ur using external oc4j as
    <data-source

  • Hint: Beware when using JDev 10.1.3 EA to deploy to 10.1.2 App server!!

    I've struggled a bit with deploying a War packaged application from JDev 10.1.3 to a version 10.1.2 Application Server, and since I've encountered loads of messages in the various forums talking about "Http -'something' when trying to deploy through Ant using the DCM servlet, or running the deployment profile from JDev, I'd like to give you the following hint:
    JDev 10.1.3 is currently built for using the 10.1.3 App server! Therefore it will also generate artifacts according to the new J2EE standard, which means that the various .xml configuration files generated uses xml schema instead of DTD!!
    And since the 10.1.2 App server doesn't tolerate xml schema references in the config files....... well..... you end up with a Http -'something' as return value from the DCM servlet!
    Another Hint: You have to package your War in an Ear structure if deploying through Ant and the DCM servlet(called by using the oc4j_remote_deploy.jar), although you can deploy the exact same war file when using the dcmctl batch file from a command line succesfully! (it apparently does the Ear packaging including automatic 'application.xml' generation for you)

    Hi,
    there does not seem to be an ADF Runtime Installer with JDev 10.1.3ea so none of the 10.1.3 libraries/code would be on the application server. I wonder if it would work if the ADF runtime installer was included in the EA release and it was run on the 10.1.2 AS???

    We don't automatically migrate the adf-faces-api.jar since in a 10.1.3.x ADF Faces application this JAR is not part of your project's WEB-INF/lib directory.
    The issue must be specific to migrating this Apache Trinidad example.

  • Can't resolve ORABPEL-04096 Build/Deploy issue

    I have three subversion passes in my cruise control build of the BPEL. One is the trunk. The other two are branches and all three build fine on the
    old Linux BPEL build server. I just installed a new Linux BPEL Build server with OC4J 10.1.3.1 and everything seemed to be going OK, until it
    attempts to build the oldest branch. The trunk and the most recent branch builds all BPEL processes. Each build is a sequence using the Oracle
    ANT build and deploy sequence.
    The third and oldest branch builds the first few processes, but on one process the build is stopped because of the ORABPEL-04096 exception.
    I have compared the second branch's BPEL project with the third and they are identical except for the version number. Also, the two ANT build
    scripts for each branch are identical in the area of failing.
            <exec dir="${util.dir}/UTIL_ReplaceContentExpressions" executable="${ant.exec}" failonerror="true"
                output="${bpel_build_logs}/UTIL_ReplaceContentExpressions.log"
            >
                <arg value="-Djar.target=${jar.target}/${util.domain}"/>
                <arg value="-Dhttp.hostname=localhost"/>
                <arg value="-Dj2ee.hostname=localhost"/>
                <arg value="-Dhttp.port=${http.port}"/>
                <env key="CLASSPATH" value="/home/oracle/cruisecontrol-bin-2.8.2/apache-ant-1.7.0/lib/xalan_2.7.0.jar:... jars ...."/>
            </exec>
            <!-- Give the server time to update its cash for the GetWooConfiguration wsdl -->
            <sleep seconds="25"/>
            <exec dir="${util.dir}/UTIL_NotificationEmail" executable="${ant.exec}" failonerror="true"
                output="${bpel_build_logs}/UTIL_NotificationEmail.log"
            >
                <arg value="-Djar.target=${jar.target}/${util.domain}"/>
                <arg value="-Dhttp.hostname=localhost"/>
                <arg value="-Dj2ee.hostname=localhost"/>
                <arg value="-Dhttp.port=${http.port}"/>
            </exec>
            <exec dir="${util.dir}/UTIL_WaitForCompletedActivity" executable="${ant.exec}" failonerror="true"
                output="${bpel_build_logs}/UTIL_WaitForCompletedActivity.log"
            >
                <arg value="-Djar.target=${jar.target}/${util.domain}"/>
                <arg value="-Dhttp.hostname=localhost"/>
                <arg value="-Dj2ee.hostname=localhost"/>
                <arg value="-Dhttp.port=${http.port}"/>
            </exec>
            ..... The UTIL_NotificationEmaill fails with the ORABPEL-04096 exception in the third branch. The exception is shown below. I'm at loss to figure out
    what to change since the two UTIL_NotificationEmail processes in the other passes build & deploy, and they are identical except for the version number in their respective BPEL project's build.xml files.
    Any suggestion would be deeply appreciated.*

    make sure you are using JDev 10.1.3.1 same version of SOA Suite.
    This is an old version, I would recommend upgrading to 10.1.3.5 if possible as there are a number of known issues with that version and all patches have to be applied individually, e.g. no MLR patch.
    cheers

  • Issue Using CreateInsert to Add Row to ADF Table

    I am using JDev 11.1.2 and have a pretty simple application. The application contains tabs and each tab displays a page fragment. In each page fragment, I have a panelstretch layout. In the top facet I have a form and in the center facet I have a table. I am having an issue once deploying to a standalone WLS server. It works as desired when run locally through the integrated wls. User clicks CreateInsert button and it clears the form and inserts a blank into the table. User clicks Commit and the data appears in the adf table. Pretty simple and straight forward. However, when deployed to the standalone wls the user clicks CreateInsert button the form clears and all the rows in the adf table disappear. I can reload the page and then the rows appear, including the blank one. I have tested this in IE 8 (both in and out of compatibility mode), Firefox 12, and Chrome and get the same results.
    I have one page fragment that it works correctly on when deployed to standalone WLS. All other fragements behave like I described above. I compared the jsff, pagedef, and view objects. I do not see any difference between them. I posted the jsff code below, but I can also post the pagedef code if needed. Any direction on how to resolve this would be great. Am I missing something obvious?? Thanks for any help or advice you can lend!

    This is too much code to digest, and it's not formatted (read the FAQ https://forums.oracle.com/forums/help.jspa to find out how to do this).
    So some general remarks: as it runs on your embedded WLS but not on a stand alone server it might be a configuration mismatch. Have you made sure that the standalone WLS runs the exact adf runtime libraries our jdev is using?
    Any errors in the log file on the standalone server?
    Have you tried to switch the tab order to find out if the problem is still on the not working jsff?

  • Application server connection issue with jdev

    Hi,
    we have a fusion application instance, deployed in amazon cloud. I am able to connect to this instance/console using the browser.
    I am able to login to weblogic - console, so credentials and everything is correct, now when I am giving same information in jdeveloper and trying connecting using jdev.
    its failing 7 out or 9 tests which jdev do for connectivity. We have checked the proxy settings, but its not an issue, no proxy settings there.
    Now we have almost check all forms and connection issues, but no help yet. Looking for immediate support.
    Thanks in advance for any support.

    Hi John,
    Yes I have. I even tried on two seperate WebLogic installations. I noticed, even when I create just an ear file (not deploy to server), it gives me the same warnings about removing trinidad. Is there something i'm missing in JDeveloper?
    For my installations:
    On one Middleware home: I installed: WLS 10.3.5, ADF 11.1.1.5, then ADF 11.1.2 Patch 12611176. configured domain with all ADF/JRF libraries, followed by upgradeADF WLST command. I got same deployment issue.
    On another middleware home: I even just installed JDeveloper 11.1.2, configured a new domain with all librearies. I got same deployment issue.
    FYI: I also added the two Trinidad JSP Tag Libraries to my View Controller Project. I got same error.
    Thank you,
    Gavin

    Kindly help me in this regard

    Solution:
    Workaround the issue immediately by removing the "ns1:" qualification on the operation for the binding.jca entry in the composite.xml and redeploying.
    For example:
    From:
    <binding.jca config="BAPI_COMPANYCODE_GETDETAIL_invoke_3P.jca"
    operation="ns1:BAPI_COMPANYCODE_GETDETAIL"/>
    To:
    <binding.jca config="BAPI_COMPANYCODE_GETDETAIL_invoke_3P.jca"
    operation="BAPI_COMPANYCODE_GETDETAIL"/>

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro deployment issue

    Hello. I am having a deployment issue with Adobe Acrobat 9 using Altiris. I create the rip which is bassically an image of the install. My facility has pruchased 50 seats for this software so I know we are covered for the users that we have to use this software. The issue that I am having after I make the rip, and deploy it to a machine it asks for the CD key again in order to use. Am I having an issue with my installation or is Adobe put some kind of security into their software so that when you try to make a rip of the installation is asks for teh CD Key again after the install? Is this an issue that can be resolved?

    SOLUTION:
    The issue was somehow related to DPI (START > Settings > Control Pannel > Display > Settings Tab > Advanced button). Eventhough the DPI was set to normal, I switched it to LARGE, restarted the machine, logged in after the reboot, changed it back to normal size, restarted again, logged in once more, checked the Printer Preferences and PRESTO --- a properly displayed window.

  • Deploy issue from JDeveloper 10.1.3.5 to OAS 10.1.2

    I have written an application using ADF on JDeveloper 10.1.3.5 and need to deploy it to our OAS 10.1.2. I have run the adfinstaller on the linux server to upgrade the ADF libraries to the correct versions, updated the web.xml files to have the correct versions, changed to J2SE 1.4.2_19 for the application and have still got deployment issues.
    Error
    An error occurred while redeploying application "FormsSiebelIntegration". See base exception for details.
    Resolution:
    See base exception for details.
    Base Exception:
    java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError
    com/sun/faces/application/ApplicationAssociate (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0). com/sun/faces/application/ApplicationAssociate (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0)
    Removing the jsf-impl.jar file allows the application to deploy, but when running on the app server I get the following errors:
    OracleJSP: oracle.jsp.parse.JspParseException:
    /codename.jspx: Line # 6, <jsp:root xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page" version="2.0" xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html" xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core" xmlns:af="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces" xmlns:afh="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/html">
    Help! I'm starting to have total mind block as to what to do next.
    Error: Unable to load taghandler class: http://java.sun.com/jsf/html

    I had already applied all of this before trying to deploy.
    The error seems to be a versioning error in the jsf-impl.jar file as the ApplicationAssociate class is found there. I have changed the JDK and J2EE to 1.4.2 and 1.3 respectively, rebuilt everything, updated all the settings to the right versions for 10.1.2 but it still keeps failing on the deploy.
