Folder structure to deploy EJB3

Question

Hi i am planning to run a SImple EJB for pratice purpose . So please help
package ejb3.bean;
import javax.ejb.Remote;
@Remote
public interface HelloEjb {
    String printHello(String name);
package ejb3.bean;
import javax.ejb.Stateless;
@Stateless
public class HelloEjbBean implements HelloEjb {
    public HelloEjbBean() {}
    public String printHello(String name) {
        return "Hello bro " + name + " welcome to EJB 3";
}I compiled both this files and made a jar file of that folder .
Now please tell me what should be the folder structure so that the servlet can call this EJB .( I will use simple JNDI lookup for now )

I agree with the post above about using an IDE, but I understand your need to do this manually so that you learn what's going on.
Anyway, here's an example of an .ear structure (taken from EJB3 in Action):
META-INF/application.xml
actionBazaar-ejb.jar
actionBazaar.war
lib/actionBazaar-commons.jarapplication.xml is the deployment descriptor that describes the standard Java EE modules packaged in each EAR file. The contents of application.xml look something like this:

  <module>
    <ejb>actionBazaar-ejb.jar</ejb>  
  </module>
  <module>
    <web>
      <web-uri>actionBazaar.war</web-uri>  
      <context-root>ab</context-root>
    </web>
  </module>
</application>Ejb jars also contain a descriptor of their own, ejb-jar.xml and perhaps persistance.xml if you've packed a JPA persistence unit. These are also kept inside META_INF. War is your standard web app, and under lib you put auxiliary classes and libraries you might need.
