Folio Builder local folio question?

If i create a local folio, where does that folio go? Is it a name.folio file that i can go to and drag onto the ipad?

As Bob mentioned above, that is the correct process to sideload to your device.
However, the folio is located (mac) at \Users\(username)\Library\Preferences\StageManager.(randomvalue)\Local Store\dmp\(folio name)_(timestamp)\

    Locale Formatting question
    In the preceding code the number 50 represent currency.
    The output of NumberFormat is 50 with the local symbol
    The output of DecimalFormat is 50.00 without the local symbol
    The question is how to show 50.00 with the local symbol ???
    import java.text.*;
    import java.math.BigDecimal;
    public class LocalFormating {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    NumberFormat nf = NumberFormat.getCurrencyInstance();
    DecimalFormat decfs = new DecimalFormat("#,##0.00");
    BigDecimal anumb = new BigDecimal(50);
    String temp = nf.format(anumb);
    System.out.println("local anumb = " +temp);
    String temp2 = decfs.format(anumb);
    System.out.println("Decimal format anumb = " +temp2);

  • Font Folio question

    Hi, all. I wasn't sure where else to ask this question. I've been interested in purchasing the entire Adobe library of fonts but have been confused by the various products I've seen on the web.
    There are 3 products: Font Folio 11, Adobe Font Collection, and Font Folio OT 1.0. Which Adobe product contains the most fonts? I've seen one saying it contains 2300 while another says it contains 2100, etc. I've not found a page that provides comparison between these products. Your guidance is much appreciated. Thanks.

    Thanks, John, for your reply. Here are my answers to your great questions:
    1) Because we're part of a university, we'd get the collection via an educational discount; so the price isn't a concern.
    2) Yep. I've been reading up on the technologies.
    3) I've tried to collect free, quality fonts off the web for a while, but it's time-consuming and you don't always get the best results.

  • Some Single Edition and Single Folio Questions

    Hi all,
    First of all, sorry about my english, is not as good as I'd like.
    I've some questions about single edition and single folio projects, the process is not too clear for me:
    With single folio, is possible to protect access through user/password? If it's possible... what's the way to get it working?
    How many time does adobe need to give you the IPA file for the appstore when you work with a sigle folio project?
    I've read with single edition you can't update your app, so if you publish in the App Store a book, and you find some mistakes... how can you solve them? Is possible to solve them buying another license or you need to load an complete new app?
    Thanks in advance,
    Marcos González.

    Joe,
    ALL of your questions were already asked and answered (some of them more than once) on this forum. You should try some searching first.  No offence, but Bob (and the other Bob as well) are really working hard answering tons of questions coming in every day.
    I think I can answer this one:
    "How many Single Edition can I purchase? I have 16 small brochures for one client to publish to Apple's App Store."
    Having 16 brochures to publish, it would be unwise to buy 16 SE codes for$395 each. Buying  Professional Edition for one year (12x $495) would spare you $1200, and give possibility to publish even 1000 small brochures during the period.
    Cheers,
    Tomek

  • Belkin Bluetooth Keyboard/Folio question

    I bought the Belkin case for my Galaxy Note 10.1. I found out you have to have the usb connector to charge the keyboard. Also you can connect a mouse to the usb but you have to remove the keyboard, this makes the tablet fall, won't stay up? Anyone have this problem?

    If you have a USB port on a computer , you can use this port to charge the keyboard. You can use the USB port on your computer to charge the tablet as well.

  • Viewr Builder - banner assets question 2

    Building an update to our current free app this time with Entitlment and itunes subs via a DPS Enterprise account.  We are using the "optional library subscription tile url" with our tiles to point at our subscription service and it feels like this is enough.  the banner seems excesive but is not optional its compulsory - do we really need both and can I avoid having to create the banner assets but still complete the app builder process?

    You need to create an entitlement app in order to add a banner. I haven't tried creating an entitlement app that's entirely free with no subscription. I don't think it would be worth the effort. I think a better approach is to create a multi-folio app with a custom library. Then you can build your banner into the custom library. See the DPS Developer site for details.

  • Advice for Building Small Network Question

    Hello,
    I am building a small network environment which will connect to a larger office, scalability is important.  We will begin having about 30 users which will all need VOIP services.  The VOIP services will be hosted by a cloud provider.  My question is as of now I am looking to obtain a Cisco 2921 ISR Router and then a Cisco 2960-X 48Gig POE, and my main question is I am confident the switch can handle the power and operation of the phones but just to make sure I should not run into any problems with the router as far as forwarding the data, correct?  Any other comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Hi guys,
    we upgrade reports from sql report writer into report 10g. In the report 10g builder,
    the report format looks fine. but if i use the url as below
    http://applicationserver/reports/rwservlet?report=test.rdf&userid=username/password@service&desformat=pdf&destype=cache
    so the format will be mess up whatever i use this url in my local oc4j or i deployed it into 10g application server. and the format is different in oc4j and application server. Why this issue happend?
    Thanks in advance,

    Hello,
    They are a Fix Pack higher than you which may explain why it's broken on their server.
    Download the Fix Pack for R2 and see if you can duplicate the issue.

  • Adobe AIR Local Database Questions

    Hi All,
    I have very limited experience using Adobe AIR but it seems really cool since I'm plenty familiar with jQuery and other web technologies. We have a client interested in creating a desktop application that would rely on the local database feature of AIR. I have some questions though before I begin development.
    I understand that AIR uses SQLite correct?
    How robust is this database system? Some of the larger implementations of the AIR desktop software we're planning could have 500,000+ db records, is AIR cut out for this?
    Where can I get some info on making use of the local database?
    Here's some other non-DB related questions:
    Can we send out software updates via CD for those without an internet connection at thier location?
    Can AIR allow an application to interact with a USB device?
    Thanks for all your help!!

    Hi,
    note: I'm not expert
    #1
    yes, AIR uses SQLite (3.6.*.? now one exactly knows as it is undocumented and sqlite_version() native function will throw runtime error to be handled)
    #2
    it depends for what purpose it will be used and how, yes? e.g.:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3160987/can-sqlite-handle-90-million-records
    #3
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/flex/articles/air_sql_operations.html
    (User experience considerations with SQLite operations)
    http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=SQL_01.html
    (docs)
    #4
    there is an option now to create native installer for platform which could be send off-line. It asks user to overwrite content if application is already installed, etc
    #5
    please define "interact" with USB? as disk or interface to talk with some device? Air itself cannot talk to low level ports but could start native process (NativeProcess) to some application/tool/process that could act as middle-tier between your application and usb:
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/flex/quickstart/articles/interacting_with_native_process.h tml

  • Local Repository Question...

    First - I really appreciate all the work that everyone has put into this, I'm really starting to like this distro a lot...
    Second...
    Still pretty new to the linux world. Messed with Xubuntu for the last few months, but I wanted to learn more... So I've ended up with Arch...
    I've done a couple of installs to a GUI with some success, but still have a few things to get figured out...
    Third - My question...
    I spend a lot of time in places where I do not have internet access and I really like to mess, so I've download all of the files from an extra repository to set up a local repo on my hd.
    I ran the perl script quickhack from the wiki against the directory, copied the file the script created to the directory with all of the other files and renamed it to "current.db.tar.gz"
    From there I set my pacman.conf to point to the directory and done a sync/refresh and everything works fine...
    I can search/install any of the files that are listed, but when I try to do "pacman -S xfce4" or "pacman -S gnome" I get the "not found in sync db"... I can install any of the separate files but not an entire group...
    What is it that I'm overlooking ?
    Thanks...

    Why did you do that? There are few ways to create local mirror (full or only installed packages) of Arch repos, all described on Wiki.
    You don't need to merge Arch repos into one local repository.

    That's because you regenerated repo db with this script, so you lost your groups.
    If I understand you correctly, you need to look at these articles:

  • Local radius question?

    Hi,
    I was just taking a look at the local radius functionality on a router. I've found a strange problem which doesn't make sense to me and I was wondering if someone could explain what I'm seeing. As a basic lab to learn the ropes with local radius I created a local radius server on my router and got the local vty lines to use it for authentication.
    This is my config:
    interface Loopback0
      ip address 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.255
    ip radius source-interface Loopback0
    aaa group server radius LOCAL-RADIUS
    server 192.168.0.1 auth-port 1812 acct-port 1813
    aaa authentication login default group LOCAL-RADIUS
    radius-server local
      nas 192.168.0.1 key 0 <removed>
      user mwhittle nthash 0 <removed>
    radius-server attribute 32 include-in-access-req format %h
    radius-server host 192.168.0.1 auth-port 1812 acct-port 1813 key <removed>
    radius-server vsa send accounting
    Now he's the strange thing... If I configure the radius user to "mwhittle" with the password "mwhittle" it works and I get an Access-Accept. If I configure anything another than the username for the password it doesn't work and I get an Access-Reject. I have tried many combinations but as long as the username and password are the same it works and if they aren't it doesn't. This can't be normal behavior unless I'm missing something.
    Any ideas?
    Kind regards,
    Mike

    Hi,
    What kind of RADIUS client application are you using with the IOS local  RADIUS server?  Please note that this server supports *only* wireless  clients,
    and only for the LEAP and EAP-FAST EAP types, and also MAC authentication.  It does not provide support for other kinds of RADIUS clients.
    The fact that username=password happens to seem to work is, I believe, an accidental artifact of the MAC authentication support, where username
    is always equal to password.
    If we are not using the MAC auth, then please feel free to open up a TAC case and we will help you..
    lemme know if this answered your question..
    Regards
    Surendra

  • Clause local variable question

    Hi,

    Should not have the action of Clause 2 executed just once, because of the predicate / !this->x / ? But it appears several times.
    After Clause 4: 20 the D should exit. Why are there still probes firing and why the value of this->x has become 4 ?
    Should not clause 5 increment this->y by 1 if it's fired? Why does this->y get values < 99 ?

  • OIM 11g - get localized challenge questions

    Hi,
    I am trying to retrieve the challenge questions for a given user through the APIs. Right now I am doing what follows:
    challengeQuestions=unAuthSS.getChallengeQuestions(username);
    but this returns the english version of the questions. I would like to get the italian version of those. I know they exists somewhere because it's the localized version that OIM prompts to the user on password recovery.
    How can I accomplish this task?
    Thanks in advance
    Alex

    I guess the localisation is happening via the resource bundles , not that the questions are stored in DB in the localized format .
    Thanks

  • [resolved] Build local package repo from http/ftp mirror?

    G'day;
    I live at uni during the semester, with Phat Pipe(tm) - think 100mbps LAN - between me and the nearest archlinux mirror, http://mirror.pacific.net.au/linux/archlinux. However, I have an interesting problem :
    a) I'm about to go home for quite some time. Home has dialup. 'nuff said.
    b) Home-time is when i get all the ideas about spiffy cool stuff I want to do with my computer, and hence when i need random bits of software. (i don't get the time to play around during uni )
    c) Internet here at uni costs $22.50AUD/gb download, excepting certain special servers on the PIPEnetworks peering exchange, which are $0.10/gb. Thus, I am restricted to mirror.pacific.net.au.
    My previous solution, when I was an ubuntu user, was to use debmirror to pull down a local mirror of the entire package repository. However, it's quite obvious that Arch Is Not Ubuntu, and there don't seem to be any mirroring tools apart from rsync scripts on the wiki. (These won't work because the only server I can get to cheaply is mirror.pacific.net.au, http/ftp only.)
    So, can anyone suggest a way to build a (preferably internally consistent) local package mirror given only http/ftp access? (not sure what happens if I get the mirror halfway through a sync...)
    I've contemplated a simplistic python script or similar that recursively pulls down http directory listings and then wgets every.single.file, but this strikes me as immensely retarded and problably prone to some kind of b0rkage. Plus, I suck at programming, and the thing would problably break at 99% done
    Any help appreciated, even 'you're a bad person for wanting your own mirror!!' posts.
    cheers;

    Resolved. I had an error in my patternmatching somewhere : I broke up the regular expression into multiple --exclude= options (because i don't trust | do do proper ORing here, since the RE expressions don't appear to act as egrep says they should. Or i suck at egrep.)
    Final command;
    lftp mirror.pacific.net.au:/linux/archlinux> mirror --dry-run -v --exclude=x86_64/ --exclude=iso/ --exclude=0.8/ --exclude=0.7.2/ ./ /mnt/sata/archmirror/0.8
    (n.b. : obviously, remove the --dry-run. I was using it so i could verify how much i suck at mirror -x without burning precious internet quota. )
    Thanks to //byte// for his suggestion of lftp as a tool. It's joining wget and vi in my Arsenal Of Infinite Awesome.
