Your question was a bit out of the blue, until I found your first post regarding Premiere CS5 missing the filmstrip export.
And, both answers you got pointed at Photshop's posibillity to handle video directly.
Anyway,
I am using CS3 (Production Premium), so I have to "shoot in the dark" a bit.
PS CS3 didn't handle interlaced video so well, and unless PS CS5 now know how to separate fields, I would suggest to take a look at this:

Now, that was for After Effects, but maybe Premiere CS5 now can do the same (sequence settings instead of the "old" project settings, and dropping the footage into the "make new sequence" (or something like that) icon).
But, in case you do rotoscoping a lot, get After Effects!.

I know this has been asked, but I'm going to ask again. Is it possible to export as a filmstrip? An image sequence is not as nice when trying to rotoscope in PhotoShop. This is the one feature I miss since switching from Premiere. If it's not possible, is there a place to post a "wish list" for future upgrades to FCP?

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

Following my previous discussions about my win xp running on my Imac version 10.4.11

I have a Imac with version 10.4.11 OS and Windows XP SP1 (I got the mac like that from a friend so i don't know a lot about that).... First it gave me a error when i wanted to start up in Windows (NTDETECT Failed) and then it just froze but then after a lot of questions and ALOT of answers i saw that my bootcamp on the MAC side told me that it has expired and i cant find a place to reinstall or update it to work again.... I just use the windows side for my games and some work... i am still very hopeful so i tride to start up in windows this morning again because in the past strangely it gave me a error then when i restart it starts up normally.... but this morning the error message was not the same one.. it said (Load needed DLLs for kernel) i am just asking because just maybe there is someone out there in this big world who can help me and get rid of all this stress and problems!!! ( and yes it is driving me CRAZY!!!!!) The biggest problem is that i can't update my OS version 10.4.11 because we as a production house uses it with a old recording mixer) SO.......
if there is someone out there that can help me i will be forever grateful...

Hi Marco,
You can fool the Bootcamp beta which is expired many years ago, by disabling Date/Time automatically from the Internet in Sys Prefs, then as I recall set the date to before September 2007... Bootcamp beta should work then.
Other ways would be to update OSX to 10.5 or 10.6.

I have run the catexp.sql and catrm.sql suggested by the experts in this forum. But it did not help me. Kindly help me in solving this issue.

IMovie11 Export Error 108

May I ask you to resolve the error I get when I try to export a project in iMovie11 to a HD 1080p MOV file.
The error reads: “Unable to prepare project for publishing. The project could not be prepared for publishing because an error occurred. (-108)”
I did not “finalise” my project. I initiated the export using the following menu options: “Share” then “Export Movie” then click the radio button for “HD 1080p”. The export starts and runs for approx 15min then gives the error in the attachment.
I am running the latest version of iMovie11: 9.0.4 (1634). My raw project is 116 MB and 66min in size. I am working on a 15.4inch MacBook Pro I bought in Jan 2009 with the following spec: Mac OS X version 10.6.8, Processor is 3.06 GHz Intel Core2 Duo, Memory is 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 with 250GB solid state drive and 120GB free.
I am able to export using “HD 720p” and I have exported another smaller project (6min) using “HD 1080p”.

error -108 iMemFullErr or memFullErr: Not enough room in heap zone
I have never experienced this nor can I tell you how to resolve it, however I have seen it discussed often so I can point you in the direction where you can research it for yourself.
It seems that this only happens, as you have discovered, when you are dealing with HD 1080p files.
If you don't have to, use 720p which seems to work.

Why does quicktime export files to my ipod with no sound???

I have downloaded quicktime pro for PC and followed the apple tutorial to export a video to my ipod, but when i got it onto itunes, there was no sound! and when i tried to put it on my ipod it wouldn't go on!

Exporting into IMovie

Help - I followed the last discussion about moving sideshows from Iphoto into my Quick Time Player so I could be able to view my sideshows back-to-back. After exporting into QuickTime, I then followed the instructions to drag the sideshows into IMovie. I opened IMovie and clicked the setup button and then it directed me to name my project which I did. The instructions in IMovie said to drag my items to the bar that said drag photos or movies here. I did it repeatedly and it does not work. They just pop back to Quick Time Player. What is my next step to get my sideshows into IMovie?

The Finder is the file browser on your Mac. So find the file of this movie and drag it to the iMovie icon, or use the Import command under the file menu.

List- Export- Spreadsheet option disabled in ALV Report

Hi,
In one of the ALV Report the option List->Export->Spreadsheet option is disabled. How to enable that option?
I am calling the REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY Function module with the following parameters

OBIEE Report Export from Dashboard to Excel doesn't suppress the columns as

OBIEE Report Export from Dashboard to Excel doesn't suppress the columns as expected even after the properties are set to Suppress in the report. In Dashboard it is suppressed Properly but in the excel export it is not suppressed and values for the columns are repeated.
Added the following to the instanceconfig :

Crystal Reports for Eclipse ver. 2 fails on export to excel

I have downloaded crystal reports for eclipse version 2 (full eclipse setup) and created the sample project.
The new version of JRC looks awesome on the browser. Finally the visual appeal is as good as the .NET version.
However I am having a problem with the export to excel feature. When I select export to excel, I get the following exception

I searched on scn and got the listing you mentioned.
The jsp code I am using is as follows.

And I get the following exception on selecting any export.
WebReportingException: getOutputStream() has already been called...
So I think maybe this problem is not the same as listed under SAP Note 1199025.
Also the strange thing is I just download the full ganymede version with crystal report for eclipse version 2, and created a default crystal reports website.
The samples were provided automatically, and I have not written any code myself.
Any help would be appreciated.

Excise Duty posting in case of Export under Bond - in J1iin

Hi SAP CIN Gurus,
One of our client products has the following excise components during the Export
BED- Duty nill under Bond
Cess- Duty has to pay (No exempt)
Ed cess- payble only on Cess
She Cess- payble only on Cess
In SAP during the Export Excise Invoice (J1iin) Excise duty will not be posted when we select the Bound/LUT
And When I select NO bond and Post while creating ARE1 I will not get the Bound TAB so I cannot track the Bound at all.
How can I address this requirement?
Is there anyway tnat during excise invoice creation u2013under bound selection system should post the excise amount.
Pls help me resolve the issue

Let me explain you through an example for the above mentioned scenario:
Say for example you have done 10 transaction on 01.01.2009 (By transaction here I mean complete one cycle) out of which 8 transaction is for domestic (Factory Sale) sales and 2 for export ( any export sale whether is BOND/NO BOND/LOUT).
Now while updating the RG1 (J1I5)register for issues (Here I assume you have updated the RG1 for reciepts using right classification ROP/RMA) if you have selected IDH and executed the transaction (F8) for the date 01.01.2009 you will have total 10 Material documents is displayed.Assuming if you have updated all the 10 transactions (including exports i.e 2 transaction). System will update all these transaction for domestic sales/factory sales.
Now If you go back again to J1I5 to update for export and select the Classification IWE/IWT/IWO and execute (F8). You will not be able to see any material documents to be updated. As all the documents are upated for factory sales.
For this it is always suggested to update the RG1 register on daily basis and upate the documents chosing right classifications.
FOR YOUR INFOMATION THERE IS NO CONTROL OF MATERIAL DOCUMENT THROUGH SELECTING CLASSIFICATION. SYSTEM WILL BRING ALL THE MATERIAL DOCUMENTS IRRESPECTIVE OF WHICH CLASSIFICATION YOU CHOOSE.
If you want to have control over while updating RG1 register.. You explore below user exit and write logic as per you requirement.

Lightroom 5 cannot export files in original Raw format (LR 5.4, Mac, OS 10.9.4).

A client has the following problem: When trying to export files in the original Raw format (.CR2), the operation failed and a dialog informs us that "Some export operations were not performed". We can export JPEGs just fine.
After lots of testing, this is what we discovered: The problem does not appear to be catalog-based; we run into the same problem using a test catalog. The export operation works fine, however, with the same test catalog and images on two other machines, and it even works fine on the same machine with a new user admin account that we created.
So it appears to be something associated with the user account, , or with how LR is interacting with the user account, but I cannot figure out what it might be. We can copy the Raw files when using the Finder to do so. But not via Lightroom. Any thoughts, ideas of suggestion would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Sean

As part of your testing make sure you've tried exporting JPGs from the same folder as the CR2s you're exporting as original, and export JPGs from CR2s to the same folder as you're exporting your originals. This would test LR's read and write permissions from and to the folders being used.
From this document you can see that all the LR files other than the program, are under the /Users folder with different values possible for each user, so the difference could be that the users that work are using the original LR defaults, if you have just started using LR with them after you started having this problem, or at least that the user with the problem has some oddball settings that are interfering with Export as Original.
Preference and other file locations in Lightroom 5
You can test for the Preferences being off by either copying the preferences from a user that has the problem to a user that doesn't have the problem--probably through an external or common folder, or be deleting the preferences file from the user that has the problem and see if it resolves. Moving the preferences file or renaming it may be better than deleting it if no change is seen, then you can restore the preferences back by moving or renaming the file back to the original location and name.

Error exporting BI Report to Excel

Hi All,
We are experiencing strange error, while exporting to Excel.
We have a sales report which extract data for 3 regions US, ASIA, EUROPE.
The amount of data for particular month is as follows:
                        No Of Rows              File Size
US:                        4500                   14.6 MB
ASIA:                     8000                   26.4MB
EUROPE:               3500                   11.3MB
Now when we try to run the report for individual region we can use all functionalities like Export to Excel, Send report through Broadcaster.
But When we run the same report without region criteria, (For all regions) we get the report displayed on screen, but other functionalities does not work through portal.
We get following error displayed when we export to excel:
Java iView Runtime
and a box outside that.. no details of the error.
Also when we try to send this report through broadcaster we get following error:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
Please brief on limitations if any of BEx/EP/Browser
We are having following configurations:
EP 7.0/SP14
BI 7.0/SP16
If somebody guide us on this issue, it will be of great help.

Hi Bala,
Thanks for your useful Notes.
But as mentioned we are on EP7SP14, and Notes speaks about SP11, so not much useful.
Actually our data size is too high, which might be the problem.
