Font Setting for PDF

Hi Experts,
I am downloading the PDF format of the smartform through cprojects. In the smartform I have used my own Z style which uses ARIAL as the font. But when I view the PDF format of the smartform, the font is taken as Courier. The Document property of ADOBE READER shows Courier as the font rather than Arial. Please provide any settings for PDF/smartform if required to get the necessary font.

Hi,
while converting the file u r using ITCOO structure. in this u can define the desired font of the PDf output.
plz check it.
in the include RSTXDATAOTF find
pc_id_gui_call_font like itcoo-tdprintcom value 'GF',
pc_id_gui_font_name like itcoo-tdprintcom value 'GN',
plz verify the same and do the changes accordingly.

As you have "allowed" iOS 7 users to be able to use their previous ringtones under the "classic" setting, PLEASE also "allow" iOS 7 users to be able to choose the "original" more sophisticated and aesthetically pleasing look of the previous iOS 6 and before. This would greatly, if not entirely, eliminate negative feedback of the iOS 7 "Dinky-Dob" look.

Font setting for the line headings of a numbered list

I have been setting up Word files which are in outline form with A., 1., a., etc. as the numbering. In Word, the line heading (A., 1., etc.) take on the font and size that I use for the line text. In Pages, it seems to be stuck on a default size that is larger than I want (seems to be 10) and Times New Roman font, which I don't like. I can highlight the line text and change its size and font but the the heading remains the same. I can't find anything in Preferences about this. Is there a control somewhere?

I'm not sure I understand what you want to do, but it sounds like it is something you can solve by creating a new template.
1. Modify the styles in the Style Drawer in a file so they look like you want them to look.
2. Save the file as a template.
3. Use that template to create new files.

How is bitsPerRate set for PDF to TIFF conversion?

I need to convert a PDF to a group 4 TIFF. I found certain objects I need to set to accomplish this (code is below). I am getting the exception below when performing the "write sequence" methon on the TIFF writer. I am wondering if anyone can offer any insight on how the bits per sample property is set and how can i change it? :

Why font substitution for PDF?

Just designed a business card for a customer. Using Freehand 11. OSX10.5.6. When I exported the file as a PDF for proofing and printing, I get this message: "Cannot extract the embedded font 'MyriadPro-SemiboldCond'. Some characters may not display or print correctly" And the Myriad font has been substituted. Looks terrible. I embedded the fonts.
Any idea what the problem might be?

Try saving another version of your business card and covert all yout text to paths. Then re-try?
Personally I always export an eps out of Freehand and use distiller to make the pdf

Can I set different times for different pages of my pdf file when using the whole screen presentation in Adobe Reader? Thanks!

Is there an nwsmextendeduserpref for setting the default font for Convergence when composing a mail?
I tried meFontFace=Tahoma,Verdana,sans-serif but that didn't work
Anyone know the answer?

You will need to raise this RFE with your Sun Account Manager.

How do you change the Default Font setting for a HP 6310 all-in-one?

I've had this printer for a couple of years and has worked great, but just recently, the main body of text is shadowed, like a shadow font. If i print from MS word and select my font it prints great, but the default font for printing emails and anything off of the web has this shadow

It has no style so seems to be beyond the user's control.
I've tried changing it to something else and redefining the Free Form style, but it doesn't apply when you create a new comment.
The closest you'll get to what you want is to have a Style that you like and apply it to every comment when you open it, using an FKey shortcut.

I have writen a label in an excel cell using a font that I created (called "wf" - see code below).
I also want to put a left thick border to the same cell.
How can I do that?

I have a specific font set for my outlook emails. When I use "send link" and need to add a note in that email, the font changes. How can I stop the font change? Thanks.

I know this it "nit-picky", but to me it is frustrating. Is there a way to lock my chosen font and keep it from changing when a link from the internet is added to the email? Thanks.

I at first thought it might be a Mac thing, but I couldn't find a solution. I realized that the date only affected my email, so then I thought it must be a Mozilla problem.

XML sent when set for PDF

Hello,
I received an XML file from an end-user when she emailed in our online fillable form. The thing is that it's designed to send a PDF and in fact I get PDF's from everyone who uses it except this time from this one end-user. Any thoughts on why this would happen?

Yes, having the same problem. If the end-user of the form uses Acrobat 8 to fill out the form they send XML. Using Reader 8 and PDF is sent back by email.

How can I add barcode to my word template for PDF ?

I must use a Barcode in my personal card template in MS word.
Barcode properties must be;
bcCode 39, checksum (enable - csmModulo10)
If I preview my template in RTF template, it works. Hovewer when I run PDF preview, I couldn't take a barcode output.

How do I resize the type in PDF's to make it smaller ? to read on my iPad mini. At the moment it looks like 20 point.

I don't believe that you can decrease the font size for PDFs in iBooks.

Security setting in PDF generated from SAP

External Adobe Reader for pdf, not saved in settings

I'm using Firefox v32.0.2 (with Adobe Acrobat 11.0.9.29 Plug-in) on Windows 7 Enterprise SP1.
Using the Adobe plugin for very large pdf files results in a stalling browser, sometimes for minutes.
Switching over to the external Adobe Reader in the mimetype settings works ok, but only for the current session.
After restarting the browser, the setting for pdf files is back to the Adobe plugin.
Indeed, setting "Preview in Firefox","Always ask","Save file" is stored in mimetypes.rdf,
but setting the external Adobe read is NOT.
By now my workaround consists of deactivating the Adobe Plugin; then pdf files are always opened with the external Reader.
But i would like to know how comes that setting external apps to read pdf files is NOT stored in the settings and therefore lost when restarting firefox.
Anybody know why that is ? bug or feature ?

In order to change the default reader for PDF files (to not open PDF files with Firefox's internal PDF reader), follow these steps:
#Click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]] and click Options (for Linux and Mac Preferences) button.
#In the Options (for Linux and Mac Preferences) window, select the ''Applications'' tab.
#In the ''Search'' field, type ''PDF''. You should find ''Portable Document Format (PDF)''.
#On the right hand side you should find an ''Action'' column. Use that to select your favorite PDF reader. In order to view PDF files in Firefox, choose ''Preview in Firefox''.
