Font size in normal reporting

I'm working on a report where it has to fit a specified page, but using the normal abap reports ( can't use smartforms in this case) , how do I change to font size to smaller size?

Hi Tarun,
there is no need of changing font sizes.
In order to fit the report into a specified format what you have to do is
Click on print button.
then click on Properties
then you will get a pop window with overview details.
click on format : there increase number of rows and columns as per your requirement.
then click on settings .
There give validity for this report only..
if you still want to decrease font size..

Are you sure that we can enlarge the font size in classical reports?
I think we can utmost use intensified/emphasize options as an work around.

How to increase font size in the report when emailed as PDF

How do I increase the font size of the report when I distribute the report as PDF to the users. I tried using different paper sizes in the LayOut tab in Broad Caster and Orientations. When I open the PDF from the mail I see the report shrinked and not readable, but when I magnify the report the numbers are visible with no loss in quality. I cannot give the users to print a shrinked PDF file. I would like to see a visiable font and print the same size what I see.

The size of the font is increased by selecting a bigger page size while emailing. This will automatically increase the size of the page.

is it possible to increase font size in abap reports.
i am trying to print a Zreport which is having line size of 325 . so i decided to print on A3 landscape . it seems to be printing very small size ,cannot be readable! . in this case i have to increase the font size of the output.
is their possibilities to do.

Hi Vijay,
You can increase the font size during printing dynamically. In the Device Types -> formats, which ever format you are using, you can ask your Basis person to edit the format and increase the font size. Also the page setup like portrait, landscape, CPI, etc can be done there itself.

Can you try republishing and see ....
Ideally the font size would be controlled by the <font tag and if you have made changes correctly it should be reflected correctly.
Check whether the HTML code is also correct.

Increase Font Size in Standard Report

I need to Increase the font size on a standard report,
i changed in the layout editor and nothing is happening when i run the report on the applications. What ever size i change i get printed with only one size and type.
how can this be acheived ? plz advice..
i did some customizations on the standard report.

Please check thw SRW. option, through this you can also change the font size, is your report is running in Character mode, if it is running in PDF format then with SRW. facilities you can change the text size.

Hi I am using Apex 4.02 version I need to get all reports into single page but it displayed excess the page limit. Example If report having more than 15 columns it should display in single page so I tried "break" option in all report column headers still it exceed the page. Can any one help me for this ..?

you can do this in your style sheet.
Look for class .apexir_worksheet_data and change the font-size.

Change font size in Z-Report created from template

A Z-report is being created from template which uses WWI.INI file integration to generate the report in Microsoft Word. In that report the text from phrases is passing over the specified text box. So all the phrases are not displayed.
Now user either want the size of font to decrease or change the size of the box.
We are going ahead with changing the font size. To do so we are editing the template in CG42. Is this approach is correct or we can change the font size from somewhere else??. If yes ,then how to proceed ??
Your help will be greatly appreciated as I am new to EHS and have very limited knowledge.

If you are afraid to destroy something on the WWI template create a copy of the template and do your testing there....

Yes it will change the font size for all phrases in that text box.
There is an option in WWI where you can change the text size dynamically if the text is in a real text box.
However I'm currently not sure if this works for all kind of WWI templates or only for labels.

in our system when we click on print. on widow is coming.
there is a properties button.
we click on it.
there FORMAT----AND then we select forat from there and then printing .
not sure. but check on ur system. is there properites button.

You can specify attributes such as the character width and font size in the device type formatting yourself.
contact ur basis team .
in the report PRINT-CONTROL SIZE option is there. try to find more o this.

in my project i'm using wad for my reports
when i execute these reports from wad and convert it into pdf format the font size of the pdf report is very small.
what can i do in order to rectify this?

I do not have AA6 available right now (I can check at home this evening). I am also using AA Pro, not Std. In AA7, there is a text box tool that is a commenting tool. When I started typing, a properties toolbar came up that had the font size and such. I haven't figured out how to get the toolbar after the fact. In AA8, I selected the text box tool and then went to view and selected the properties bar (the font size and all showed then), or use Ctrl-E when editing the text. I have not been able to figure out how to edit the text in a text box after you have created it - think it is a mental block right now. Bill

HTML font size in Oracle Reports 11g

I am migrating from Oracle Reports 10g in OAS to Reports 11g in WebLogic.
However when I display all changed reports using Web Browser (same), the font size is changed(comparing the 10g reports to 11g reports). I would like to keep unchanged.
(command using DESTYPE=HTML)
May anybody can give me some guidance? (would like to see if there are any file or setting in EM which can alter the size of font in web)

My problem is regarding PDF output from RDF reports . I have reports that contain Text ..When i generate PDF output my text area shows different font size for BOLD text.
I have uploaded image .Below is link for it .
(portion Highlighted in Yellow is bold text and it changes its font size.

Unique Font Size in R12 Generated PDF Report

Hi all,
Recently we upgraded from 11i to R12 and got an issue of unique font size in PDF report. As stated in metalink 859780.1, at the very beginning we got Symbol font in PDF. Although they're non-readable, I still can see various font size in the PDF report, e.g. smaller font in the remark region and larger font in title. However, after following the above note to change it back to use Courier font, although I can see normal font now, all fonts in the PDF has only one size and which is much bigger than that in 11i. So most of the text can't fit in the border. Subsequently I tried to update several files including uiprint.txt, uifont.ali, datap462.ppd and using different combination (both pdf subsetting and non-subsetting), I still can't fix the issue. Then I also tried to set IX_PRINTING to use pasta, however, I hit another issue (can't font file specified in pasta.cfg). But since I haven't utilized pasta in 11i neither, I'll try to stick to the approach of using native PDF instead of using pasta. Is it an known issue of the Oracle Report 10g? Can anyone help? To increase font size in List Output in Report

Hi, I have to increase the font size of my report's list output. I dont have to print it. So, please dont suggest print control. Only it needs to be displayed as an output.....

If you want the font size to be more you can do that using the SAP GUI settings .The output will then appear in the increased format as it is only a list output that you are trying to see.press ALT+F12.Choose New Visual Design and then increase font size to maximum.
