Footer Displacement after editing
Hi all,
I am trying to create a custom email template for the first time, and I took a Mailchimp template and edited it in Dreamweaver. Things are looking ok but when i preview in my browser through Mailchimp, the footer shows up right after the header BEHIND the body, so you can't even see it! But in Dreamweaver, of course, it looks fine. Has anyone had any problems like this? I need to fix this ASAP.
Thanks for any help.
Here is the code:

can't save pictures on original folder position after edit, get save popup to save at different position, also still on toubles to get them back to original folder positon since I'm upgraded to IOS7 on IPad2.
I say the problem is probably noted, and probably will be resolved. Not that i can speak for Apple. I find the "problems" of wallpaper to be pretty minor compared to the advantages of iOS 7. The fun of wallpaper has always been pretty insignificant here.

I have created a form in InDesign, exported to a pdf, then created an editable form and saved. When I open the form and make changes and save, then reopen the changes are there. If try to email this form as an attachment after editing, the attachment is always minus the edits. ????
Hi chuck,
If you ave created the form and then filling it yourself and saving the form, the filled data should be there when you reopen the same form.
Can you please send the form to me at [email protected] so that I can have a look.

How to sync two excel files, the content is the same in both files after edit.
I have two excel files, which are data and edit by multi users, how can I sync the master files to the copy files after edit?
Is this operation required VBA? marco?Hi,
Your request could be done via VBA code. Here are two ideas.
One:
Syncing the data from master file to the copy file without opening copy file. Sample code
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
If Target.Count > 1 Then Exit Sub
Dim cnn As Object, SQL$, s$
Select Case True
Case Target.Value = ""
s = "null"
Case IsDate(Target.Value)
s = "#" & Target.Value & "#"
Case IsNumeric(Target.Value)
s = Target.Value
Case Else
s = "'" & Target.Value & "'"
End Select
Set cnn = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
cnn.Open "provider=microsoft.jet.oledb.4.0;extended properties='excel 8.0;hdr=no';data source=" & ThisWorkbook.Path & "\test folder\Book2.xls"
SQL = "update [Sheet1$" & Target.Address(0, 0) & ":" & Target.Address(0, 0) & "] set f1=" & s
cnn.Execute (SQL)
cnn.Close
Set cnn = Nothing
End Sub
Two:
Saving the master file as copy file before closing. Reference:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/ff194765.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
If you have any further question about coding, I recommend you post the question to the MSDN forum for Excel
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?forum=exceldev&filter=alltypes&sort=lastpostdesc
The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.

in iphoto, how do i save a photo after editing, in the same or higher file size, it's saves in a lower size
It's rather more complicated that this.
iPhoto is a lossless editor. You don't lose any quality on your shot in iPhoto.
The file size you see reported is the size of your iPhoto Preview: this is what gets used if you access the data via a media browser. It's a "good-enough-for-most-uses" version of the shot. Email it, upload to websites, use it in Presentation, Word processing file etc
If you want to set the quality yourself then Export the photo using the File -> Export command.
You can choose to export to Jpeg, Tiff or png. Tiff is lossless but the file sizes are up to 10 times larger. Jpeg allows you to choose different qualities: High, Medium or low. The difference is the amount of compression involved. High quality means very little compression. It's not unusual for photos exported at this setting to have a larger file size than the original.
Which setting you choose depends on the use you intend. Further editing, printing then high is important. Sending to Facebook? Well low will do just fine there as they're going to trash the file anyway.
But the key point: the file size only becomes an issue when you export.

Error in saving .aspx pages after editing the XSLT
Hi,
I am developing a SharePoint 2010 web app and I had to do some modifications for a .aspx page which has a data form web part and I am encountering following issues:
1. After selecting the web part, when trying to modify the filter criteria of the data source, the "group" and "ungroup" buttons are seen as disabled and the option of editing in the XSLT editor is also not visible.
2. after editing the XSLT, knowing that there are no issues if I try to save it an is showed saying null value issue and asking whether to allow scripts to run in this page r not. After choosing either yes or no, when I try to preview it in browser I get
an error in the place where I have the data form web part saying error with web part try to edit it in SharePoint editor such as SharePoint designer.
3. this is happening only i try to edit the code but no matter how many copies I get from the original page, they are correctly previewed in the browser unless I try to edit it.
your kind support or suggestions are highly appreciated as I am unable to fix this
thanks.Data you are changing is on the frontend. You need to pass data to backend (server). The static method 'dispatch' of control framework class (CL_GUI_CFW) is used to do this 'manual' synchronization. It is sort of helper method of control framework (which is basis for ALV controls) and is independent of ALV controls (cl_gui_alv_grid etc.) that are used.
Try putting this code as suggested and check.
short code would be (without error handling)
CL_GUI_CFW=>DISPATCH( ).

what is the next step after editing or triming a video?
what type of file format should be save and what to do after that?In the early days of digital video editing, an export render could take hours! Not many applications are as hard on system resources as video editing, and rendering the final edit is probably the most system intense action of all.
Head on over to the Premiere Pro Hardware forum to see what sort of computer hardware the pros use for NLE (non linear editing), or to the PPBM5 site for a better look.

Hi,
I'm currently editing a full length feature film and originally imported all the footage directly into final cut making the timeline become a 29.97 timeline, when the pulldown should have been removed before the fact. After much research I know that you can properly remove the 3:2 pulldown from the 24p footage after editing and can be done in compressor. I've tried a number of different compressions and seem to have the dimensions correct which is good. But the 16:9 footage when brought into iDVD or dvd studio pro it seems to want to make the footage 4:3 which is quite confusing and frustrating. I need to be able to get my compression settings correct so that i'm able to put this on a dvd properly. I originally exported the footage from final cut as DV/NTSC and made sure it was 16:9 coming out of final cut. The resolution is 720x480 but comes out as 853x480 as its dimensions and has a squeezed look to the video as it did on its timeline unless the preserve aspect ratio button was unchecked. The only way around getting the squeezed look to go away is to go through compressor and make sure that letterbox is turned off so that its a full screen. Even though its a large file size I compressed using apple pro res to get the best resolution I could, but I need the best results with the lowest file size since the running time is roughly 1:43:00. The footage looks good coming out of compressor, but for some reason even though its full screen 16:9 everytime it is brought into iDVD or dvd studio pro it wants to make it 4:3? what is the reason for this! I recently read an article on this problem and the reverse telecine option within compressor is used to remove the extra frames that final cut adds, and makes the video of better quality relieving the horizontal lines that are caused by the extra frames. I need help on this and I know it can be done because people have proof that it works but I can't seem to reach a solution myself. Thank you to all who reply much appreciated! What happens when you drop a 4:3 clip - with its anamorphic flag cleared - into the 16:9 sequence ?
I have not been doing exactly this, but I have been going the other way, to produce letterboxed 4:3 footage from 16:9 HDV.
I found, when dropping the clip in, FCP automatically set a scale and distort, to correct for the differnce in aspect ratio - does it do this for you for 4:3 SD on a 16:9 SD timeline ?
Remember, you have to re-open a clip, from the sequence timeline, to see its motion settings in that timeline - I keep forgetting this, drop a clip on, then wonder why nothing I change on the clip happens in the sequence!
Regarding the final output, it all sounds fine, except for the possibility of the 4:3 TV output - the 16:9 footage would be okay letterboxed, but the original 4:3 footage would be better 1:1 - if you had to pillar box the 4:3 in the 16:9 (probably what FCP would do by default) and then letterboxed that when making the 4:3, you'll end up with a box in box, plus interlacing problems from the rescale.
I would consider making a second 4:3 sequence, once you have finished the edit on 16:9, try copying all the 16:9 edits (Cmd-A, Cmd-C) and pasting them into the new 4:3 (Cmd-V) - then its a case of leaving the 16:9 letter boxed, or zooming and panning it for 4:3, and removing the scale / aspect from the 4:3 sequences alltogether, so they play normally.
Messy - isn't it ?
Good luck!

Hi there, I am new to Apple Iphoto. I am having lots of problems in transferring my edited photos back to my external Hard disc after editing. How am I able to do it. will it be able to open in Windows OS... Previously I was using Windows and now i m new in using the Apple OS.. Need guidance.. Would really appreciate if any1 of u guys could help me through. are there any other applications that I could use to edit pictures.
Best if you try and explain what you are trying to acheive.
Iphoto is a different paradigm than you're used to. I don't understand why you are trying to transfer your edited photos back to an external disk.
There are tutorials here

Would you care to comment on why there is an advantage to do this little extra job?
Perhaps you don't want to hear from me, I don't know.
I'll answer just this one little question. Try to get your mind around what color management does, I promise it does make sense (outside of unexplained problems on particular computers).
You want to save your web image with the sRGB profile embedded because some Internet browsers are color managed, and with an embedded profile it's more likely someone will see your image colors just as you intended.
The assumption is that a lowly windows user with a cheap monitor and Internet Explorer will be seeing any image you save as "roughly" sRGB anyway. Tagging the image with sRGB only affects those with color-managed browsers.
You're looking for the most possible consistency for the viewing audience.

IPhoto does not see any changes after editing a photo in Camera Raw
Hello everyone ,
I have some small problem with my iPhoto. I have set up Camer Raw in iPhoto as External Editor, so when I click on edit in IPhoto,
automatically opens my JPG in Camera Raw. After editing in Camera Raw I'm clicking on ,,Save image" then destination is ,,Save in same location" When I go back to iPhoto to the same photo, iPhoto does not show any changes I have made in Camera Raw.
What could it be or should I set something in iPhoto or in Camera Raw?
Is there a chance in order to deal with this?
I will be grateful for any assistance and
I'm waiting for advice
DawidAny time a RAW file is edited in any 3rd party editor from within iPhoto it MUST be saved to the Desktop and imported as a new file. There's no other way to do it. So the photos you've edited and saved are somewhere in the iPhoto Library folder system but cannot be recognized and used by iPhoto.
The following is geared for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements but might have some info relevant for you:
Using Photoshop CS3 or Photoshop Elements 9 as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop as your editor of choice in iPhoto's Advanced Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window
that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements 9 the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:

s I also suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always. In PSE’s General preference pane set the Color Picker to Apple as shown:

NOTE: If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and PS/PSE without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected PS as your editor of choice, reset the Preferences back to "Open in iPhoto". That will let you either edit in iPhoto using the Edit button or Control-clicking on the thumbnail and selecting "Edit in iPhoto" or in PS/PSE by Control-clicking on the thumbnail and selecting "Edit in External Editor" in the Contextual menu.
This way you get the best of both worlds.

DVD authoring after editing project with FCP X
FCP X has extremely limited DVD authoring options within it. Can't put more than one short movie on a disc, only two menu templates to choose from, etc. So my question is what do I use to author a DVD after editing projects with FCP X? I know I need to use Compressor to set chapter points, etc., but what do I use to build the DVD menu and burn the DVD? I certainly hope I am not limited to iDVD only, which is not really a pro application, and I gather that DVD Studio Pro is no longer being sold. Amazingly, I asked this question at a One-to-One session at an Apple Store and the guy there suggested Adobe Encore ... I was totally shocked! Does anyone have an answer to all this?
Encore is very good, but you have to buy PPro to get it, you could look on eBay for a copy of DVDSP. It does look like Apple will not be offering a Pro Level DVD authoring package anymore, it's a shame as DVDSP works very well still and they could have just offered it as a standalone.

Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac10,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 3.06 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 3 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Bus Speed: 1.07 GHzThis recently happened to me. I am a novice, but it seemed like that project got corrupted some how.
I deleted it.
Went to time machine and picked it up again when I knew it was working ok.
I lost a few hours of work, but not the entire project.
Once I had the project back from time machine, it worked fine (but like I said, I lost a little bit of work).

Going to repair my iPhone 6 Plus LCD screen. I found a bunch of OEM screens online but does OEM mean they are made by apple. They don't look exactly like the one in my phone. Can anyone recommend a website where I can get authentic Apple LCD screens
