Footer in last page

how to display footer in the last page for 10 pages

Hi Harish,
Proceed like this:
1) Create the footer window and add the text you want to print.. but below a window element like this:
/E FOOT
/: If w_last EQ 'X'
  This is footer..
/: ENDIF.
Defining a window element will prevent print of this text automatically.
2) in your Driver program, you must be looping at the internal table and calling the WRITE_FORM function with window MAIN inside the loop.
As soon as the loop gets completed, set the w_last flag. and call function WRITE_FORM passing the window name as FOOTER and element as FOOT

  • Over flow issue while printing footer in last page in PDF forms

    Hi,
    Could any one let me how to display footer in last page only at end of page reserving 5cm of space.
    I have designed my form with two pages:First Page and Next Page in Master Page
    Body Page contains table details and some texts after the table lines.
    First and Next Pages has footer(5cm) at the bottom.
    If Page <> Last Page,footer is not displayed.
    If page = Last Page, footer should be displayed at the very end of the page
    I have a table with multiple line items. If the line items end in First page the footer should be displayed at the bottom of the page. If the line items flow to the next pages footer should be displayed in the last page only. Next pages should be using the footer space at the end of each page if it is not the last page.
    If the positions are wrong can anyone suggest the position of the footer space and how to stop overflow of the line items onto the footer

    You have to place the footers in 2 main windows.
    write script to hide the footer if the current page is not last page. Use below script to find the total number of pages and current page in layout:ready event.
    Var no_of_pages   =   $layout.pageCount (  )
    Var curpage = $layout.page  (  ref  (  $  )  )

  • Want to display footer in last page

    Hi Experts,
    I developed a classical report for service order print.
    The pages increases,  if there are more line items .
    My requirement is to display the footer in the last page only, not all the pages.
    So please help me regarding this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Pavan

    Ok So this is a classical report and you need to set the footer only at the last page .
    In ur code use the control break
    LOOP AT ITAB.
    AT LAST.
    write:/ 'Footer text'.  "<---
    ENDAT.
    ENDLOOP.
    I hope you are discussing this about a report only .
    I hope this is not a  script requirement.
    if it is so then
    /: IF &NEXTPAGE& EQ 0
          whatever footer you want.
    /: ENDIF

  • Need ideas on how to display a footer on last page only on a dynamic document

    I have a document that is similar to this...
    Dear Customer,
    paragraph 1 content dkdk dkd alkfdjaldkjfa d
    dlkfajd;lkfja;dlkfj a.
    [repeating subform transaction data]
    Closing paragraph please contact us using one of the numbers listed below
    contact info
    The problem I am having is that I want the Contact Info block to appear as a footer on the last page only.  In addition, I want the Closing Paragraph to be on the same page as the contact info block.  The contact info is currently anchored to the bottom in the design view and when the transaction data repeats, it incorrectly pushes the closing paragraph into the contact area.  So basically if the closing paragraph starts to bleed into the contact info block, I want both closing paragraph and contact info to break to a new page.  I don't want to reduce the height of the content area because I want the transaction data to have the ability to display in the full length of the height if needed.

    Every time you add an instance to you subform, you should hide the footer in the previous instance
    e.g.
    when adding an instance
    var intCount = _subform.count;
    _subform.addInstance(1);
    Reference_syntax.resolveNode("subform[" + intCount.toString() + "].footer").presence = "hidden"
    when removing an instance if applicable
    _subform.removeInstance(x);
    var intCount  = _subform.count - 1;
    Reference_syntax.resolveNode("subform[" + intCount.toString() + "].footer").presence = "visible";

  • Displaying Footer on last page of report

    Hi:
    Is there a way to display the footer only on the last page of a report? For example, if I have a three-page report, I need the footer to be displayed on the third page only. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly.
    Sincerely,
    Dinesh.

    Hi,
    Use the Syntax <?start@last-page:body?><?end body?> before the footer , if your template is facing any exception include a Section break in continuous (one of the Section break types) before the above mentioned syntax.

    Yunus,
    I did what you said. I removed the variable from characteristic restrictions, saved the query and executed the query, appeared three variables Plant, Calender month and material. executed and saved the work book. disconeted from Bex analyzer, in RSRT Generated Report and logged into Bex analyzer ran the work book for selection Plant, calender month and material and went into change query definition and added the variable for customer which was removed earlier and and ran the query for selections Plant, Calender monmth, Material and customer. saved the work book. disconnected from Bex analyzer and closed all excel sheets and work books. In RSRT Generated Report and again connected to Bex analyzer and ran the work book, now appeared only three variables again missed variable customer.

  • Last Page Header and Footer in XML Report

    Hi
    I have one requirement , where except last page for an invoice, all other pages should have one header.
    Last page should have nothing header and in Body some information(Total details) should be displayed and in footer terms and conditions should be displayed.
    if one page is there for invoice , in second page (total details) and terms and conditions should be displayed.
    Any one who already faced this issue please suggest how can proceed for requirements
    Advance thank you

    I need a large footer to appear at the bottom of the last page
    I have made a section break: new page
    I have created a field with the contents <?start@last-page-first:body?><?end body?>
    I have run the report to create an RTF file and the last page footer appears on all the pages
    But if I run it to PDF the footer does the right thing and only appears on the last page
    If I create a Powerpoint document it works OK
    It only fails in the format that I require, RTF?
    Any ideas how to fix this?
    Cheers

  • Report Builder - Last page issue and Report Footer issue

    I am using ColdFusion 9 Report Builder, am new to this product and encountering 2 issues.
    Issue 1 - I have a field that I would like to print on the last page of my report.  How can I determine the last page?  I initially tried using a calculated field set to the 'highest' calc.Page_Number.  Then I could compare the current page to the last page in the 'Print When' property.  But calc.Page_Number can not be used in a definition of a calculated field.
    Issue 2 - Depending on the amount of report detail, sometimes my report footer prints alone, without a page header and page footer.  The report includes this page in the total number of pages.  For example, if it is a 2 page report, the page header on page 1 will display Page 1 of 2.  Then the only data on Page 2 is the Report Footer.  No page header or page footer prints.
    Any assistance on these issues would be most appreciated.  To date, using the Report Builder has not been easy.

    To issue 1: The report contains a report band called report footer. thsi is always at the last page. The report footer band initially is collapsed, so you have to expand it by dragging the last band divider.
    To issue 2: I guess this is a page break calculating error when detail data reaches really near the page footer area.
    Try some experiments with different setting of the following properties/issues:
    - in elements, e.g. calculating fields in the bands between report detail and page footer: In Properties / Print Control / Printing Options: Activate the option "Remove line when blank". This will remove the whole report band area if this field is blank. May save some empty space.
    - try to remove unused empty space between detail rows.
    - try to resize and reposition all detail fields so that they snap to the grid.
    Best regards

  • Display value in footer on only last page:

    I have the same footer on 3 of my master pages. Depending on data, my form may grow to several pages.
    The first 2 master pages display exactly once and the third page grows to no. of pages depending on input data.
    Is it possible to script some event so that the textfield on footer displays only on last page?
    I have seen examples of xfa.layout.pageCount() and xfa.layout.page(this), and tried the conditions on if last page =  currentpage, show/hide  the value of text field in the footer.
    If there are 10 pages, system should display the text value in the footer only in the 10th page. If the form got only 2 pages, it should display only on second page.
    I tired all kinds of scripting with pagecount and page(this). But the script is effecting all the pages irrespective of first/ last page.
    I will be greatful if you can put the sample code/ form on how to do this.
    Thanks,
    Krishna

    Hi Paul,
       Thank you for the logic.
    Actually I tried this.
    I have some fields in the 3 footers which got some explicit binding. If I put some value in the first page footer in this field, and if the logic (current page != no.of pages) , the value is getting reflected in all pages without checking for further pages.
    I figured out what the actual problem is. It's not with page logic. But with the externally binded fields. If we put the calculated field for one footer, the form will keep the same value without taking from external binded xml. I tried it in a alternate way by getting these values using calculated fields and that worked for me.

  • Print Footer Window of PO Form at end of Last Page of PDF Forms(Adobe)

    Hi,
    I am trying to print PO form using PDF form which includes multiple line items. At the end of last page I am trying to print the footer window that contains Comments and Signature.
    Right now my Footer Window is being printed immediately after the end of line items.
    I have included the Comments text box and image inside a Sub Form.
    Please let me know how to print the Footer window at the end of the page instead of printing immediately after the line items.
    Thanks,

    Hello Experts,
    How do I print the GRANDTOTAL in the table footer only on the LAST PAGE in SMARTFORMS.
    What I have done is in the text element of CELL1 of the table footer i wrote the folowing logic but not working.
    /: IF &SFSY-PAGE& EQ &SFSY-FORMPAGES&.
    * V_SUM.
    /: ENDIF.
    I even tried this.
    /: IF &NEXT-PAGE& EQ 0.
    * V_SUM.
    /: ENDIF.
    but still it displays the grand total on all pages at table footer.
    How do i go for this experts.
    Regards,
    Ranjith N

    HI Nambiar,
    To print the grand total only on the last page then create the secondary window --> create the text node for the grand total -->In the condition tab check only after the end of the main window.
    This grand total will be displayed after all the items and end of the main window.
    Footer in the table displays as the subtotals i.e on every page total is displayed..

    Hi expert,
    I designed form for invoice print ,in that for multiple pages footer should be print on last page only and hight of the main window should be increase (means if footer will display on last page then space of footer should be used for main window in multiple
    page format)
    for eg .if i have 12 item so 5 items displyed on each page but i want to print 10 item on first page and remaing on second and after that i want to print footer.
    Regards,
    Jyotsna

    Hi,
    Has you tried to create a "new page" copy of FIRST, and make it the LAST_PAGE... On it you are going to create the desired footer.
    The Page Secuence will be something like this:
    If you are trying to print 12 items, then PAGE 1 (10 items) -> LAST_PAGE (2 remaining items).
    Hope it helps you...
