Footer is not appearing?

Can anyone help me figure out why the footer is not appearing on this page: http://wakinguptogether.org/index_test6.html
I'm using the footer CSS from one of the Dreamweaver supplied pages and I'm a beginner with CSS.  I'm at my wits end.  This is happening on another site i'm working on as well.  Thanks in advance for any help!

That's the problem with having your styles embedded on each page rather on one single CSS file - things change per page and you lose track. Combine all your styles into one CSS file and link each page to the same sheet. This will keep things consistent.

  • Text not appearing in footer?

On my site www.helenmarino.com the footer at the end of all the pages says:
This site and all contents are ©2012 Helen Marino
Helen Marino - Property Finder | London UK
For some reason though (even though it is in the HTML) it is not appearing for my home page - but is for all the other pages?
    Can anyone help please?
    Thanks

The CSS on the home page contains this rule -
    .style4{
    font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    color: #689BAE;
    font-size: 18px;
Note that the color is the same as the background color in that footer.  Other pages do not have that color specification in the ".style4" rule.  Remove it on this page and you'll see your footer appear.

  • E-mail signature does not appear in recipient's e-mail

I send e-mails with a detailed footer that is not appearing in the recipients e-mail. My footer includes contact information, an image and a legal disclaimer. What causes this and how do I remedy it?
    Eric

    That's not what I'm asking.
Who are you sending it to? What email domains do they have?
    [email protected] ?
    [email protected] ?
    [email protected] ?
You don't have to provide their email. I just want to know if they are all using the same @whichdomain.com or not.

  • Borders are not appearing when null coming from database

    Hello all,
Right now i am working on a report where i am getting data from stored procedure(sql server). The report is having 15 columns so i have created like multi line report and applied borders to each item. so the report look like a table. But the problem is there are some columns whose values in database are null. Beacuse there is no data coming from db these borders are not appearing on report.
I know that we can write a formula in crystal by isnull function to get these borders. But want to do everthing on the stored procedures. Please help me on this.
    Thanks & Regards
    Ram

Convert the null to 0 or " " using formula before placing it to the table/cross tab. This might helps.
Nevermind because you know the above solution.
You can do one more thing too, if you are not applying any calculations like runing total  to any of the column from those 15 column, place each of column in either tax-box (if numeric, covert it to text) or just use the box and lines to draw the table and expand the box and lines till end of group footer.

  • Footer will not expand!!!

    Hi
    Here is the link
    www.scrimshawcomm.info
I have a min-width of my page wrap so that this site will display without Horizontal Scroll bar on a terrible resolution!! My issue I am having is..
I want the footer to expand as the page is squashed, so that content does not break out of the footer area. I realise that those elements (column, 1 and 2's) are floated and that this is probably why they are not staying within the confines of the #footer
Secondly, I would like to have the Navigation (Menu9) under the main content in the HTML.
Last and least, I have a Java sniffer for IE6 running a bug fixer. I also have an alternate style sheet to make the width of the menu items in Menu9 stay at 30px, as IE6 will not understand the Min-Width. This does not appear to be working.
please ignore the AAA rating at the bottom, I realise I am a million miles from this.
    Thanks So Much,
    Sam

Try changing your #footer CSS to this:
    #footer {
        min-height:250px;
        overflow: hidden;
        color: white;
        background: #cfd0d2; url(images/footer.jpg) no-repeat;
        padding-left: 60px;

  • Crystal 8.5 (Minimum function in the function tree does not appear to work)

HI I would greatly appreciate some help with this problem I am having.
I am creating a report in which there is a group of records printed . Within each record there could be any number of results related to that record of which I want to extract both the maximium and minimum value and print these. This bit is fine as I do this using the maximum and minimum function available within the summary function.
However with each of these max and min values calculated and printed I then want to create a footer that adds all these max and min values up. (This is not immediately possible using the 'summary function' max and min values as they are not presented on the 'Field explorer' dialog box for selection.
However I can individually using the maximum 'tree function' get the report to store these values so that I can do the calculations once I have got to the footer (as the  fields defined are accessible through the field explorer. But the same minimum function does not appear to extract a result (and no I do not have zeros in the data).
Is there a known problem with the minimum function?
Is there another way of getting this data?
    Thank you in advance
    seyviv

Hi Debi, it would be easier for mean to demonstrate what I wnat/am doing in the report by use of data.
I have a file with a list of sample results. There may be many results for one sample. ie
    Sample      Result Number      Result
    98-01          1                           3
    98-01          2                           5
    98-01          3                           6
    98-02          1                           3
    98-02          2                           7
    98-02          3                           9
    98-03          1                           4
    98-03          2                           5
    98-03          3                           11
On the first page I want to see the max and min values across all samples listed for each result number. Then as a total value (once all the result numbers max and mins are displayed I want to perform a calculation on the max and min values displayed in the list (ie. max 4 + 7 -11  and for min 3 + 5 - 6)
                          Result
                          Number        Max           MIn
                          1                    4                3
                          2                    7                5
                          3                    11              6
    Result of                             0                2
    Calculation
I have been able to do this for the max values but the minimum function does not work.
How I currently extract this data is that I use a 'Summary field ' to calculate the max and min values in the list. However to get the data for the calculation at the bottom I use the 'Formula fields' to extract the values listed for all the results for 'result number 1, 2 & 3' and then use the 'Function tree' to get the 'Maximum value for each individual result number and then finally do a calculation on the max values. However, the same minimum function does not appear to work.
I hope this explains what my problem is.
Thank you in advance of any suggestions you may have
    Regards
    Viv

  • Hit Counter button not appearing when I upload the web site.

I am using iWeb version 3.0.4 on OS 10.6.8, and on the Welcome page, I added the Hit Counter button.  When I upload the web site, the Hit Counter button does not appear.  Anyone have any solutions as to why it isn't appearing?  Thanks...

Where are you hosting the site? The counter will not work on ftp servers, only on MobileMe.  If you are hosting on MobileMe increase the footer height considerable and publish. If the counter then appears you can move it closer to the body/footer border and reduce the footer height.
If you're not on MobileMe consider a 3rd party counter like StatCounter.  This tutorial describes how to add it to iWeb pages: #13 - Adding a StatCounter as an HTML Snippet
If you're on MobileMe you know that MMe will be discontinued on June 30 of next year.  This may be of interest: #23 - Life After MobileMe

  • Drop Zones Not Appearing

The drop zones on the main menu of the DVD do not appear. I open the Drop Zone editor and it has a box for the Menu, but not a box for the drop zone. However, the sub menus are the same theme and have drop menus. I have tried Command-I and click the box at the bottom, but nothing.
    Please help. Thank you.

That is so strange. I have drop zones on the above iDvd'08 theme that I can activate with a simple check mark or get rid of them by unchecking the same box.
If your software isn't allowing for such an option then I'd consider re-installing iDvd'08.
You do know that after you check or uncheck that tiny box at the foot of the inspector, that you then need to click on the screen which then activates or deactivates the drops zone/s. At least that's the way mine works. For example ....
Btw ... before you do any re-installing of this software, please try a separate user account and launch iDvd from the new account to see if this duplicates the very same behavior or not.
Good luck on this and I'll check back with you later. (Wife and I have a date).

I hope you can enlighten me guys, am I missing something which makes it NOT to appear in Dreamweaver?
    Regards,

Thanks for the response Gary. However, the 35px that you're seeing is actually for the #nav. I recreate the css and tried to remove some of the heirarchy thing. Here's the updated copy. I even tried to remove the #main_container. Same thing happens, the bg image is still not appearing? I tried changing the file type to JPG but to no avail. I think I'm overlooking something which is causing the issue.

  • Images not appearing on slide

I am using Captivate 4, Windows XP.
For some time now I have been working, without any problems as foolows:
Taking screen shot using Snagit. Editing image and then saving to folder.
Adding the image to Captivate slide via the insert image option.
Suddenly today, after selecting required image and clicking on "insert" from within Captivate, the image does not appear on the slide.
However there is an "image" in the timeline, but if you right click on this.. and then go to "properties", nothing come up.
Attached is an example...there are no other images on the slide (header/footer is merged onto slide), so cannt be a case on image is "behind" something.
I have on-going problems with Captivate when connected to company network...very slow and most times I get message telling me Captivate is not responding...and I have to wait and wait until it kicks in to life. Could this be related?

    Hi Lilybiri,
I have (again) requested my IT dept to take a look at what is going on.
If they cannt/wont help, then I may well take up Rick's very kind offer.
The more I think about it, the more I believe my problem(s) stem from having to link up to Adobe when working on-line.
It takes about 30 seconds from the time I open the initial Captivate start screen (attached) before any of the links become active.
That strikes me as way too long and might be the cause of the problem.
Any idea if this "link to Adobe" can to turned off? What do I need the link for anyway...day to day?

  • Why does the properties menu not appear with the templates?

    Hi,
This is a bit hard to explain but maybe someone will get it.
If you draw a div on your deisgn window 'draw AP div' then
click somewhere on that div again, in the design window, then you
get a list of properties at the bottom such as width, height, top,
    left, z-index etc....ok.
Now if i load the '3 column hybrid header and footer
template' and click on any div on the deisgn window of this
template then i dont get this properties menu at the bottom. The
width in the css template are set in 'em' btw if that matters.
Now i am thinking there is a fundmental difference betwee the
divs in the template than drawing a div using the 'draw AP div'
    tool.??
It's kinda of like the templates are using pure css whereas
the AP div is a mixture, ok i am sure i am WAY of the mark here and
this is just a little thing. Can someone explain?
    thanks for any advice!

    > Now if i load the '3 column hybrid header and footer
    template' and click
    > on
    > any div on the deisgn window of this template then i
    dont get this
    > properties
    > menu at the bottom.
That's because the div *you* created was Absolutely
    Positioned, and there is
a specific inspector for absolutely positioned elements. But
    the divs in
the 3-column hybrid header and footer are NOT absolutely
    positioned and so
you do not get the special inspector. If you are not sure
    about the
difference between absolutely positioned and non-positioned
    elements, then
you would be well advised to NOT use absolute positioning
    until you do. It
will create big problems for you if you ignore this.
    > The width in the css template are set in 'em' btw if
    that matters.
That makes the container expand in width as the font size is
    expanded by the
visitor, which is what is meant by the 'hybrid' term in the
    sample file's
    name.
    > Now i am thinking there is a fundmental difference
    betwee the divs in the
    > template than drawing a div using the 'draw AP div'
    tool.??
Yes, definitely. This may help you understand positioning a
    bit -
There are 4 different types of positioning:
    Absolute
    Relative
    Fixed
    Static
Here is a brief explanation of each kind of positioning (with
    regard to
placement of elements on the page only)....
    Position:absolute (or A/P elements)
    This does several things -
    1. It 'removes' the element from the flow of the code on
    the page so that
it can no longer influence the size or position of any other
    page element
(except for those contained within it, of course).
    2. The absolutely positioned element takes its position from
    the position of
its closest PARENT *positioned* element - in the
    absence of any explicitly
positioned parent, this will default to the <body> tag,
    which is always
    positioned
at 0,0 in the browser viewport.
This means that it doesn't matter where in the HTML code the
    layer's code
appears (between <body> and </body>), its
location on the screen will not
change (this assumes that you have not positioned the A/P
    element within
a table or another A/P element, of course).
    Furthermore, the space in
    which
this element would have appeared were it not positioned
    is not preserved
on the screen. In other words, absolutely positioned elements
    don't take
up any space on the page. In fact, they FLOAT over the page.
    Position:relative (or R/P elements)
In contrast to absolute positioning, a relatively positioned
    page element is
*not* removed from the flow of the code on the page, so
    it will use the
    spot
where it would have appeared based on its position in
    the code as its
zero point reference. If you then supply top, right,
    bottom, or left
    positions
to the style for this element, those values will be
    used as offsets from
    its
    zero point.
This means that it DOES matter where in the code the
    relatively positioned
element appears (, as it will be positioned in that location
    (factoring in
the offsets) on the screen (this is true for any placement in
    the code).
Furthermore, the space where this element would have
    appeared is
preserved in the display, and can therefore affect the
    placement of
succeeding elements. This means that the taller a relatively
positioned element is, the more space it forces on the page.
    Position:static
As with relative position, static positions also "go with
    the flow". An
element with a static position cannot have values for
    offsets (top, right,
left, bottom) or if it has them, they will be ignored. Unless
    explicitly
positioned, all div elements default to static positioning.
    Position:fixed
A page element with this style will not scroll as the page
    content scrolls.
Support for this in elements other than page backgrounds is
    quirky
There are several other things you need to know:
    1. ANY page element can be positioned - paragraphs, tables,
    images, lists,
    etc.
    2. The <div> tag is a BLOCK level tag. This means that
    if it is not
positioned or explicitly styled otherwise, a) it will always
    begin on a new
line on the screen, and b) it will always force content to a
    new line below
it, and c) it will always take up the entire width of its
    container (i.e.,
    width:100%).
    3. The placement of A/P elements *can* affect the BEHAVIOR of
    other
    elements
on the page. For example, a 'layer' placed over a hyperlink
    will mask that
    hyperlink.
You can see a good example of the essential difference
    between absolute and
    relative positioning here -
    http://www.great-web-sights.com/g_layersdemo.asp
You can see a good demonstration of why using layers for a
    page layout tool
    is dangerous here -

  • I am trying to set up Sharing amongst several computers on my home network.  I have followed all the setup instructions but after completion Sharing does not appear in my iTunes window (on any of the computers I've set up).  There is no explanation why.

I have been trying to set up Sharing between two computers on my network. I did this once and it worked.  However, when I try to set this up now the Sharing feature does not appear on the left side of the iTunes window (on either computer).  There is no explanation as to why not.  Is this a configuration problem, a network problem or what?   Can it be fixed?  I have tried turning sharing off and back on on both computers but to no avail.  What am I missing?  Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Hey innerev2003,
Thanks for the question, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
If, while searching through your past purchases, items are unavailable to download and show a "Purchased" button, they are still on your computer. It may be best to search your iTunes library by clicking Music, then use the search bar at the top right.
If you are completely sure the items are no longer in your library, try signing out of the iTunes Store, and then back in.

Reboot the machine holding Command and r keys down, you'll boot into Lion Recovery Partition
In there will be Disk Utility, use that to select your Lion OS X Partition and Repair Permissions.
After that is done reboot the machine and see if you can log in.
If not repeat the above steps to get into Lion Recovery, get online and reinstall Lion again, it will overwrite the installed version and hopefully after that it wil work.
    Reboot and try again.
If not follow my steps to create a Snow Leopard Data Recovery drive, then option boot from it and grab a copy of your files off the machine.
Then reinstall all your programs onto the external drive like setting up a new machine, then use Disk Utility to erase the entire internal boot drive (select the drive media on the far left, not the partiton slightly indented) format Option: GUID , 1 partition OS X Extended and then use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the external to the newly formatted internal drive. Once that is finished reboot and disconnect the external drive.
Once you go that, boot into Snow Leopard and update to 10.6.8, use the AppStore and option click on Purchases and download Lion again and install.
Lots of work, but there is no Lion disks.

  • External Hard Drive does not appear in finder

We purchased a 1 TB G Drive Q from the Apple Store. It is connected to my wife's iMac running the most current update of Leopard by 800 firewire and appears on her desktop and works flawlessly with time machine. I am connected to the same drive intermittently with my MacBookPro also running the most current update of Leopard. i connect with 400 firewire. Initially the drive would not appear in the finder. for the initial backup, i turned the hard drive off and on and then it would appear and i did the backup but now when i connect to the 400 firewire port, it still doesn't appear in the finder. i would much prefer not to need to turn my back up drive off and on each time i want to use time machine. i should also mention that when i connect any of my garmin training devices or my power meter by USB it is recognized very quickly as a device in finder. any ideas? i understand this may be one of the problems fixed with SnowLeopard. thanks.

I am not sure what you are attempting to do. I assume that you are not trying to connect two computers to the same external drive at the same time. That will definitely be problematic. In order to effectively use Time Machine with two Macs, you should partition the drive into two partitions. Also make sure that the drive is using a GUID partition scheme.

  • BPM Application Link does not appear in BPM Workspace (11.1.1.7)

I spent huge amount of time to reveal why does that happens.
All that follows further is valid for BPM Suite 11.1.1.7.
    The scenario.
You developed a simple BPM process with Initiator pattern (maybe by following the "Quote Request" tutorial).
But the application link did not appear in BPM Workspace.
Here i'm skipping any kind of mistakes as "oh, incorrect swimlane", "oh, i did not include the user to the app role" and so on.
At first, you should know about the "feature" - You have to attach task form to the Initiator Human Task to see the App Link.
The simplest way to do that is to AutoGenerate task form (and deploy it, of course).
Else the Appication Link will not appear.
One exception to this rule - If your Task HAS NO PAYLOAD (no parameters) the Task Form is not required (to appearing of the Application Link).
The second find is a bug (is think so).
If you edited the Role that Attached to the swimlane of Initiator Task, you will not see the Application Link.
If you look to organization.xml you will see something like this:
            <ns1:applicationRole id="StartTask.InitRole" isProcessRole="true">
                <ns5:name>StartTask.InitRole1</ns5:name>
                <ns1:processRole id="InitRole" name="InitRole1"/>
            </ns1:applicationRole>
The Application Link will appear ONLY IF THE "applicationRole id", "applicationRole name" and "processRole id" have the same value.
When you edit name of the application role in Organization Editor you change "applicationRole name" and "processRole name" values.
After that "applicationRole id" != "applicationRole name" and the Link does not appear.
    How to fix?
Just edit organization.xml (with external editor) - change the "applicationRole name" to the value of "applicationRole id".
That allows to have value of "processRole name" something like "The Initiator Role" - that value appears in the BPMN diagram of process.
Also you can edit organization.xml with Organization Editor and set the Name to the value of "applicationRole id".
In that case the associated swimlane will have the same name as the "applicationRole id".
    Hope this helps somebody

Flash Player is a browser add-on, not an executable program.
If you need to open a local SWF file you will need the standalone player (Projector) from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
Note that the download is the player, not an installer, so you will need to make the file association manually.
