Force Customer (Party) Names to Uppercase
Hi, I'm currently trying to force all customer (party) names to uppercase, even if they have been entered as mix-case: i.e. Oracle will become ORACLE.
EBS: 12.1.3
To try and accomplish this, I'm doing the following:
- Login as Trading Community Manager Reponsibility -> Trading Community -> Administration -> DQM -> Attributes and Transformations.
- I apply the EXACT transformation to the "Party Name" in the "Party Entity" tab.
- If I click on the Overview link on the left, it'll say there are transformations to be applied.
- In the Oracle Forms as the Trading Community Manager I run the following concurrent programs:
- "DQM Staging Program" with the Staging Command as STAGE_ALL_DATA.
- Then, I run the "DQM Synchronization Program" afterwards.
- I then log in as Receivables Manager Responsibility -> Customers.
- I search for a customer but the name is in the original mixed-case and not uppercase as expected.
Have I missed out on any steps?

I'm starting to understand a bit more about TCA and DQM and it appears that what I'm doing is only applied to records matching during a search.
Hence, a broader question: Is it possible to cleanse the customers data to make them all uppercase?

Ship to party name (despcription) change in Sales order
The requirement is as follow:
After entering the Sold to party in a sales order, user enters the Ship to party code and would like change the name (description) of the ship to party as he likes in sales order. But without maintaining / modifying changes in partner functions/ customer master. There is only one ship to party, so there will be no pop up to select the ship to party.
This is something like one time customer ...here they want the the ship to party name can be changed.

AmarYou should be able to change address in sales order and that change is only valid for this particular sales order. User should go to header partner function tab and select the ship to part and go to details and then change the address.
Be sure that your delivery note is reading ship to party address from sales order not from customer master otherwise you will get old address in delivery papers. -
Query criteria in Query Customer Party List EBM
Hi ,
I have a requirement where I have to map certain fields to query customer party EBM.
QUery Customer Party EBM has option for mapping only one field 'ID'. But my query input has many fields like last name , first name, etc based on which the search should be performed.
I checked Query Customer Party List EBM where i found some tags like query criteria, operator code, value expression, etc.
Please let me know what is the significance of these fields and how can I map my query criteria fields to query customer party EBM or query customer party list EBM ?Hi,

Using AccountGLFlexValues, I have 3 parameters to send to requestor ABCS and all the samples I have are using only ID as parameter.
What about Difference between Query and QueryList EBMs? any explanation??

Dear Sir,
I create a sale order, the name in customer ship to party different then other. Ship to party have a different named "One time customer " but when I attache with sale order and during sale order I change it in sale order header partoenr ship to party with different name like ABC. When I create the delivery Order and make a script out the name of the script is same as one time customer but name in sale order and delivery both one show ship to party as ABC. please tell me how i can change it and from where i can adjust the change name on the script out.

check with your ABAP teamand debug the script. Get the ship-to from VBPA table by passing PARVW = SH/WE. Get the address number and pass it to ADRC table and get the ship-to name.

I have read the Oracle doc and only the following formats are mentioned:

Is there a way to have a PO# (From the Trading Partner Payload) in the filename format?

Action hard codes custom file name
I recorded an action to crop and save for web. I have done this 1000's of times over the years, but in CS6 it is hardcoding a Custom File Name, and in the wrong format too boot.
I am saving as JPG only and accepting the default name, which should leave me with an action that has no custom name, yet it does, and the custom name is of an HTML file name.
So, when I run my action, it names every single file the same name, and never creates a jpg.
This is a new bug in CS6. It wasn't here before.
I can't figure out how to get around it????
KirkFigured out a way to work around this, but it is irritating. Instead of my action doing this:
Flatten
Crop (user interaction)
Save For Web
Close (without saving)
I have to do this:
Flatten
Save as JPG (in same directory where I want the Web file to go)
Crop (user interaction)
Save For Web (Over top last saved file)
Close (without saving)
For some reason, when I use the save as JPG, it doesn't custom code the file name and when I save for web in the same place it also doesn't custom code the file name.
I never had to do this before in all the years of using this type of action, and I use it ALOT!
I have found that it sometimes does not hardcode the file name, but there seems to be no rhyme or reason.

Custom File Name-Original File Number doesn't work. Why?
I want to export and rename some files with the "Custom File Name-Original File Number" option. Yet this doesn't seem to work, and I wondered what I might be doing wrong. The filename will only rename as the custom text.
The sample file name shown underneath has a dash after the custom text bit, but then the extension only eg Newname-.tif
I am now using LR 4.2 but I seem to remember doing this renaming OK with an earlier version (though I can't remember which). This suggest that either there is a problem with this specific version or that I have something set differently to the way I had it initially. I am hoping the latter is the case. Any suggestions as to how to fix this would be welcome!I am sorry to report that i don't know how to create a screenshot. However, what I am getting, exact;ly is this:
From Library grid view: F2 or Library>Rename Photo
Then little screen appears with heading Rename Photo:
File Naming> set to Custom Name - Original File Number
Custom Text> NewFilenameHere
Example: NewFilenameHere-.tif
Clicking on OK changes the filename to just the custom text without the original file number. Original File name shows in metadata eg DSC01129-Edit.tif
The only way i seem to be able to get the original file number with the custom text is to include it manually as part of the custom text. -

Milind NairI have had mixed results with Lexington Law. Actually, the results themselves I can't complain about. they have gotten about 20 things removed from my reports over about 6 months. Could I have done it myself? Yes...but I work a lot and they systematically have gotten things removed and my score has gone up from about 550 to about 610 during that time. that said, I'm not thrilled with them. It's hard to really get concrete answers out of most of the people I talk to and there is no real way to target what they do. And I do get nervous that I might be burning something with a creditor and/or the CRA. But, it's hard to argue with the results, even if I've paid a lot of money for them. Some of the OP's points are valid. But some I take issue with. of course it's a separate item for each of the three CRA's, for example. What else could I expect? If three report on the same issue, then there are three things that need to be removed. I can't blame Lexington Law for counting that as three removals. They ARE three removals. I realize that an approach directly to the OC would be a 'three for one' in effect, but that's a lot harder to accomplish. But, yes, I do find their 'answers' to be ambigiuos and uniformed at time. Most of the time, i feel I know more about the process than the paralegal. I treat it like another thing working for me as I send out goodwill letters and the like to OC's.

In the Standard Reports, you cannot add a new column.
As mentioned by me earlier, please check 'Offset Account Name' column in the Form Settings if the same is of help in your case.

Custom header name does not show in ALV...

Weblogic SAML2 Custom Credential Name Mapper Problem

I Have configured both the Identity Provider and SP in the same machine but in the different domains. It is working without any issues when it is configured with default Credential Name mapper .
Since I was in need to add custom attributes in the assertion ,I have written a test custom credential name mapper as it is mentioned in the programming weblogic security document , made that Jar available in the system class path and configured successfully the Name mapper class name attribute under the Credential Mapping provider in the admin.
But when i run the application , after getting credentials There was an ArrayStore exception occurred when it is trying to generate the assertions.
please have a look at the following logs and give your valuable inputs.

It has been resolved after I have done the following.
In the CustomCredentialNameMapper , in the mapSubject method.
I have passed the Set of <String> type as Grounames instead the Set of <WLSGroup> to the SAML2NameMapperInfo . They are expecting the Set<String> it seems.

Custom domain name pointing issues

I've set my custom domain name for my webpages and it is working fine - www.domain.com points to my iweb site. But how can i make sure that domain.com (without the www.) also points to my iweb site? I know I could change settings on my domain registrar (godaddy) and create an A record but it requires an IP address to point to...

If you want to do it that way, you use the IP for web.me.com You can find this at any of the countless websites which let you look up IP's.

So I cannot even access the application. It was working fine yesterday and today I get this error message: To use this library, make sure its file permissions are set correctly. I have changed nothing. All the pictures are there on the computer. Help
