Form button problem after redirect

I have this button that causes the HTMLDB page to submit and execute code in a post validation process:

The code will end up calling a function that prints out an Excel file.
The Excel file is open into a new window, but the button on the HTMLDB form/page stays greyed-out or despressed. Is the page being held in limbo here?

I have found in the source of the page thar HTMLDB adds the onClick="javascript:this.disabled=true; doSubmit('SUBMIT');" and I think it is this disbabled=true that is tripping me up.
I have tried adding my own onClick event for this button but it wont over-write the one added by HTMLDB. Can I disabled this disabling onClick?

Middle mouse button problem after arch update

Dear Arch Users,
I have a very strange problem in xfce4 with middle mouse button after arch linux update. It is especially annoying in firefox. Earlier, the middle button just opened a new tab (in firefox) now it also tryies to go back everywhere it can... So, when I am on a some site, I try to open some link by middle button click, it is opened in a new tab - OK, but the firefox goes also to the previos site on a current tab - it is terrible...
I am using xfce 4.8.0 and xorg 1.9.5 (RC1).

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPhone shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"

Disabled button after redirect

I have created a page with a region button on it. The button has a redirect to a URL which runs a pl/sql procedure.
After clicking the button, the procedure runs and I see my original page, but, the button is disabled.
When I look at the page source, I see that the button has the attribute:
onClick="javascript: this.disabled=true;"
How can I keep the button from being disabled?

I actually tried that first. The problem is that I need the procedure to download a custom CSV file. It works with a redirect to a url. I could not make it work from a page process. There are several threads and a how-to about downloading a csv file. Nothing helped me get it to work from a page process.
My whole application revolves around the user selecting some items from a report and clicking a button to get a custom csv built and downloaded. The csv has too many columns to be a report download and the columns may be too wide.

Problem with JavaScript in my PDF Form buttons

I am trying to have my user click on a button in my form on my website and e-mail the form data to me.
I am using the following JavaScript with my form button:
this.mailForm(false, "[email protected]", "", "", "Subject", "Message Body");
Protected mode is off.
When I use the above statement (whether the 1st parameter is set to true or false), nothing happens – no email gets sent and no mail dialog box appears. If I change from this.mailForm(...) to this.mailDoc(...), I get a mail dialog box but, as expected, it sends the blank form without the filled-in data due to low user privileges.
How can I send the form data with this.mailForm(...)? (Note that I prefer to use this.mailForm(...) rather than mailto:(...) because this.mailForm(...) supposedly allows me to e-mail the form without user interaction.)

Thanks for responding. I have been using “Submit a form” in the Mouse up event. I had that operation do a mailto: and it worked, but required user interaction on the part of the web page visitor. I have successfully created an equivalent JavaScript including:
    var url = "mailto:[email protected]?subject=mySubject&body=MyMessage";
    this.submitForm(url, true);
The above sent the FDF file successfully, but again, it required user interaction.
Then I tried this JavaScript - as I mentioned in a previous post - after you said to use doc.submitForm():
    var url = "http://mydomain.com/submit_notice.php";
    doc.submitForm(url, false);
The above script seemed to do nothing (with no error message). Shouldn't it bring up the PHP file in the web browser?
I have that php file, submit_notice.php, created, but I have not written any PHP scripts to e-mail the FDF file. I have never written a PHP script to take the posted FDF data and email it, but I have used the PHP mail() function and posted variables.
As for what I want to happen on the client side after the submit takes place: I simply want the FDF file to go to an e-mail that I specify. Additionally, I need it to happen without any client interaction on the part of the web page visitor. I can expect that visitor to have Adobe reader, but no add-ons or protected mode requirement.
Please give me an example that emails the FDF file without any user interaction.

Adobe form in Web Dynpro Submit Button Problem

I've created an Adobe form as a UI element in Web Dynpro as a development component. In this Adobe form, I've included a "Submit to SAP" button from the Web Dynpro Library.
My whole purpose is to expose this DC as a callable object into Guided Procedures and then run this process, so that the Adobe form(embedded in Web Dynpro) can be seen and allows the user to enter information online into the form or download(maintain offline) and click on the submit button. After clicking of the button, I need the control to return to the GP framework to trigger to the next action. I have configured the button in the Adobe form as a submit format -> XML data and with submit to URL "%com.sap.caf.gp.if.PostProcessorUrl%". I did this because I want it to return the control to GP framework. However, there is also another option of the event submit button in the Web Dynpro UI Adobe element -> event-> onSubmit.... i created an action onsubmit which has the code wdThis.wdGetBformController().complete();
When I run the GP process, the adobe form appears and when i click submit button, nothing happens... Does anybody know the solution?? Thanks!

Open Form button on UWL is disappers, after changing the XMLs

HI Frndz,
We created a custom UWL(workbench) by creating uwl.standard.hr(from uwl. standard.xml),and when the workflows are triggered Items are not coming to our custom UWl , but these are coming fine to standard UWL.
So i added the WF ITEMS into uwl.standard.hr manually and uploaded, now the items are coming to custom UWL(workbench), but when we click on Items these are not launching WDP application, this is the same case in standard UWL also.
I came to know that when am adding the WF items to uwl.standed.hr than only OPEN FORM button is disappearing in custom and standard UWL also.If i delete these added entries in uwl.stranded.hr than standard UWL items are lunching well.But WF items are not coming to workbench(custom UWL).
Plz suggest us.

What happens if you do not create a new thread but instead open the child in the same thread (which is obligatory)? You wrote it doesn't work, but I don't know why?

How do you define "global"? Normally this is a variable in a Module declared with the scope Public or Friend. But I guess you mean a field of the Form (a variable at class level in the Form).

Why does the main window has to send the messages? Can't the child window handle the device's messages itself?
"I need to run the child window using a separate thread as both windows need to be able to process commands."
Process commands from the device, or commands from the user operating the Forms?

LifeCycle pdf Form Created - email button problem, windows rights

I am currently struggling to roll out a form that allows users to email their data back to a recipient. I have over come the common issues about the type of email button and enabling extended features. The problem I have falls down to Windows User Rights, if I am an administrator on the computer I can email the form without problems. But logged in as a normal user the button does nothing, no error, no indication.
The user are using adobe reader 9.3.

You might want to check the virus scan software and ensure that it will allow programmatic access to the mail client on the machine. We use McCaffee and here is the screen shot that shows the restrcition.

iPhones do not have an international warranty. Warranty is valid only for the country of purchase. This is most likely because different countries require different iPhone models. Not reasonable to expect all countries to maintain stock for all models.

i am trying to build a form and regestering it on ebs ,
i am sure i made all steps correctly ,
i opened the template , removed unwanted objects "block_name,%detail%" i do not remember the second name of the block , modified triggers "pre-form,when-new-form" , modified app_custom package , created my block on a new canvas with a new windows , inherited every new object i created , did everything , and the form is compiled and registered well , but when i try to press f11 to enter-query , the fields color does not change to blue , it is white , second thing , f4 does not close the form or cancel the query ,
and i can not insert anything into the table .
i've tried it once with per_all_people_f table , and another once with table i created ?
how could i solve it ?

Naming Buttons - Problem with using Captivate 7 Buttons to Open URL or File

After spending too much time troubleshooting a button problem, I discovered the importance of naming each item in a Captivate project.
For some reason I have yet to figure out, publishing to SWF from Captivate causes buttons to function arbitrarily. In my case, I had eight buttons pointing to external URLs, three that worked and five that didn't. All of the buttons pointed to the same external website, only to different PDFs hosted on that site. Each button was named with the default "Button_X" convention as set by Captivate. After trying lots of different settings adjustments, On Enter and On Exit actions, and Play/Pause timings, I did what I should've done from the beginning; changed the names of the buttons.
Why this worked? I don't know. I've seen hints on other discussions as to SWFs not working well when there are a lot of unnamed or default-named items. If there's some logic to this I would be happy to know it, but for a default setting to cause such a bizarre problem is beyond my comprehension. I could understand if I had named the buttons incorrectly, but I didn't do anything to them; I left them with the names created by default.
Hopefully this helps someone else resolve a similar issue and, if anything, encourages everyone to follow best practices and use a clear file naming conventions for all projects.

Problems after convergence updating with 137632-09 patch

I have install communication suite 6 in my test machine on Solaris 10 OS. Output of imsimta version is as below:

Using /opt/sun/comms/messaging/config/imta.cnf

I have upgraded convergence with patch 137632-09 but I have much error as below:
1.     File Attachment icon not working while composing mail.
2.     Clicking on To, cc bcc; address book is not open, while pointer symbol change as hand shape.
3.     Clicking on Create Link icon while composing mail, it create link top of window instead of current location in compose windows.
4.     In spell check box- any button such as replace, replace all, ignore, ignore all, cancel etc. not working.
5.     Creating group is not working. Other button (all, create group, cancel etc) not working
6.     After importing address it does not overwrite existing entries
7.     In Address book Edit button not working
8.     To change password, while clicking on Save Preference it show popup box with error message : Invalid Request one or more parameter is missing
9.     In Global General option, convergence startup first time showing undefined parameter. After changing it with another parameter undefined become disappear.
10.     In mail General option while clicking on any select button it automatically redirected to home page.
11.     Clicking on mail filter option button like New Filter,etc it redirected to home page.
12.     Clicking on Subscribe to Folder option it show error message popup: WMAP protocol error, invalid compact WMAP response.
13.     If spell check is on it stop sending mail without checking spelling and any button are not working
Please suggest any stable convergence patches or help me in changing parameter if required as per above problem in messaging end.

Does this occur every time you test (for all users etc.)?
Did you try to use a new password that had any non-alphanumeric characters?
