Form not redirecting

I have a form that was originally created in FrontPage that is supposed to submit the data input and then redirect people to the payment page.  It is submitting the data because I receive the email but it won't redirect.  Says there is a frontpage error.  I have modified the page with DW 2004MX.  I have no idea what I have done to it but need help correcting the problem.
The form is:  http://www.5oclockphlock.com/membership/newmember.htm
Thanks for any help!

  • Form does NOT redirect to PayPal!

    Hello! Our form in the majority of cases does NOT redirect to PayPal. What we need to do?

    Hi,
    One thing that could help is to look at the info in the agent logs, first increase Debug Logging Level, then restart the agent server and click thru your app, then look in agent runtime logs which should have more descriptive errors. For more detail on how to do this, try http://wikis.sun.com/display/OpenSSO/GlassFishAgentTrouble#GlassFishAgentTrouble-generaltips
    You could look on this page, which is mostly based on GlassFish server but could help for other servers as well.
    http://wikis.sun.com/display/OpenSSO/GlassFishAgentTrouble
    I have not installed either of the policy agents you mentioned. But with some of the other agents, like the Sun App server 9 (GlassFish) agent, it comes with a sample application, and I find that this is the best way to ensure your setup is good and you are following all steps etc. Once sample app is up, you can try your own apps with confidence.
    Since you already have the SJSAS 9 installed, maybe you could create a new domain and download/install the SJSAS 9 policy agent on the new domain. Then try out the sample app?
    Or if those other agents have a sample app then try it out.
    hth,

  • How does one create a form that redirects based on the input of the form?

    What I am trying to do is have a form with one input. Lets call it "ID".
    There are multiple pages that the form can direct to depending on the ID the user inputs.
    All of the page extentions end with the ID. For example www.page.com/0001.html.
    So I want the user to put in "0001" then submit. The user will then be directed to page www.page.com/0001 if they put in an invalid ID user will be directed to "ID not found" page.
    Any help would be much apreciated!! Thanks.

    on form.php put a form like this:
    <form method="POST" action="redirect.php">
    <input type="text" name="id" value="" /><br />
    <input type="submit" value="redirect" />
    </form>
    on redirect.php put this:
    <?php
    if (isset($_POST['id'])) {
         header ('Location: http://yoursite.com/'.$_POST['id'].'html');
         exit;
    }else{
         header ('Location: http://yoursite.com/form.php');
         exit;
    ?>
    best,

  • How do I get a form to redirect to a thank you page CS4

    I have the form working using the server
    provided script:
    <form method=post action="http://www.iinet.net.au/bin/mail">
    <input type=hidden name="destination" value="[email protected]">
    But the result on submission has the email going to the right place but I want to replace the host server standard page with my thankyou.php page.
    The host instructions (https://iihelp.iinet.net.au/Homepage_mail-handler_script#toc_3) refer to mailhandler fields - specifically
    Resultpage
    A URL to a page that the client should see once the form is completed. If omitted a standard page will appear saying the form has been submitted
    What is this and what is the script I need to add into my dreamweaver cs4 source code in the feedback page and where abouts do I insert it so I still get the email containing the form contents and the user gets a thankyou page?
    Cheers

    Hi Bob
    I downloaded the free DIY script but have no idea which bit I need to use to add to what I have made in Dreamweaver - it looks like this is an alternative form but I only need the piece of script to add to mine to onsubmitform call up a thankyou page.
    Apologies I don't code I dont even use dreamweaver other than this specific situation and I rely on the DW help which has me asking the forum for the script as anything outside of adobe instruction do a then be = c or cut and paste x in this spot to do Y is probably out of my depth.
    If I really knew what I was doing then the tectite site would be great but if their formmail has the capability as they describe below how do I get DreamWeaver forms to have the same redirect the user capability?
    Or am I expecting to much from DW? If DW cannot do this then I will accept that the server default page is it (as crude as it looks)- at least the end result is success.
    I do appreciate your time on this - Cheers
    below is extract from tectite site on Redirecting the User
    This How-To guide explains how to redirect the user to a custom URL after they've submitted your form.
    Redirecting the User
    All versions of FormMail display a default page to the user if you don't specify something else.
    There are two possible outcomes to a user's form submission:
    Success; or,
    Failure (I do not need this for DW as it is already validated before submit form)
    Static Pages
    In the case of a successful form submission, FormMail defaults to a generic "Thank you" page. In the case of a failed form submission, FormMail defaults to a generic error page.
    You can choose a different page by specifying a URL with "good_url" and "bad_url" fields, for success, and failure, respectively.
    Like this:
    <input type="hidden" name="good_url"    value="http://yoursite.com/thanks.htm" />
    <input type="hidden" name="bad_url"    value="http://yoursite.com/error.htm" />
    These are hidden fields that you add to your HTML form. You don't need to change the PHP code in FormMail to get redirection to work.
    Template Pages
    The "good_url" feature provides you with a static results page. If you'd like to show some of the information the user submitted, you can use a field called "good_template".
    To do this, you need to set the TEMPLATEDIR or TEMPLATEURL setting in FormMail's configuration. Also, download the Sample Good Template and read the instructions in there.
    There's a similar feature for error handling called "bad_template". However, error handling is more complicated so we've provided a separate HOW TO guide on Advanced Error Handling.

  • Email form not coming through to inbox

    Hello everyone.
    I've built a email form in DW CS3 (It's a custom form, not something I got from godaddy or from internet), but when you type in the info, from the form it is not coming to the inbox once you hit send. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

  • Form not working???

    I'm using a PHP script on a simple form. I've used the script before and even took a template of the form that I've used before. I have it correctly linked to the PHP script, both are uploaded. I've double checked that the email address is correct in the hidden tag. The form properly redirects to my thankyou.html page yet the email isn't going through. I've redone the page and uploaded but to no avail. I have it set to go to my personal email for the time being so I can see if it's going to work.
    I've contacted my host who gave me the script and he said to take the template form from a different site and use that. I had already done that.
    Any suggestions?
    http://ninemilesenior.com/contact.html

    Without knowing what is going on in the PHP script, it is impossible to troubleshoot this form.
    As a guess, you might try removing one of the email addresses. The PHP form processor may be scripted to allow only one email address. (or at least put the yahoo address after the ninemilesenior address - - for reasons that can be explained later)
    One of the reasons why we use forms is to hide the recipient email address from spammers that scrape websites for email addresses. Using a hidden form field in your web page does not really hide the email address from these spammers. It may be a good idea to hard code the recipient email addresses in that script - - instead of using hidden form fields in your HTML.

  • Session Time out - Relogin not redirecting

    Hi,
    If I am in a particular page of an application, and session times out, I get Page Expired window. On click of that, it takes me to login page. After I relogin, it is NOT redirecting me to the page where the time out happened. It just redirects to the Application Main page. Is there a way to let ADF redirect to the page where time out happened?
    Thanks,

    Hi Aluvala,
    Based on the current description, I understand that you would like to change the error message to custom message. The issue relates to Render Extension. Currently, the behavior which changes the error message to custom message is not supported. Therefore,
    I would suggest you submitting a wish at
    https://connect.microsoft.com/sql. Connect site is a connection point between you and Microsoft, and ultimately the larger community. Your feedback enables Microsoft to make software and services the best that they can be, and you can learn about and contribute
    to exciting projects.
    If you still want to make custom render message, you can try to create custom render extension while it is not easy.
    Hope this helps.

    I don't know anything about Spry validation of form fields but I think it requires you to set the type of validation, i.e., text, email, number.
    Have you looked in that direction.
    I presume what youre saying is when you hit send you get a red message saying phone number is not valid or something along those lines?

  • Can you create a form not using a php script?

    I need to create a contact us form on my website using DW and have researched how and understand the easiest way is using a php script.  Unfortuntately, my webhost server does not support this and will charge me an arm and a leg in order to to do it.  Is there another way to have a functioning contact form not using a php script?

    Yes and no.
    You could use a mailto link for your form action instead of a PHP script.
    There are several problems with this method though. First, when you do that, you are at the mercy of the viewer's computer set-up. Mailto links use whatever email client is installed on the machine in order to send the message. Public computers (libraries, colleges, etc) almost never have an email client installed, so when a viewer on one of those machines clicks the link, nothing happens. Secondly, your email address is open for spam harvesters, so you may end up with enlargement and nigerian scam emails flooding your inbox.
    Since your provider doesn't give you a way to do it the right way on your server, you may want to look into email form services online and see if they are less expensive than your current alternative.

    Cycle Count Entries Form not showing specific employee name in "Counted By" LOV List.But the Employee is active . Is there any setup for this activity?

    Hi,
    This is because the query is excluding the current site you are trying to modify since it is actually in the report.
    You can include in your query:
    or site_id = :Pxx_SITE_ID
    Where Pxx_SITE_ID is the item holding the site_id value and xx is your page number.
    Thank you,
    Erick
