Get rid of the terribly buggy GNU JDK and install Sun JDK and your problem should most probably disappear.

  • Values of return code when using dba_audit_session

Is there anywhere I can look up the possible values for return code when using dba_audit_session?
I am generating a report over the data and have so far only been able to provide the returncode and whether the username exists (ie username or "other" error)
    Thanks
    (using 9i)

So far I have fathomed out:
    Return code: 0 everything OK
Return code: 1017 wrong username or password
    Return code: 28000 locked account
    Return code: 28001 expired account

  • Return code when I close the report

I have a trigger after-report that updates the db.
The problem is this trigger starts up always, or when I print a document or when I close simply the report's window preview.
Is there a return code from Report then tells me how finishes the report ??
    e.g - If I print the document returns 0
    - If I only show the preview returns 1
It's logical that if there is a return-code I'll never use the trigger after-report and I will manage all from forms.
    kind regards
    Eugenio

    Eugenio,
No, there's no such return code from Reports. In fact, there's no way from within the report to tell if the report has been printed (to do this you'd need a trigger on the print button, and that's not provided functionality).

  • Receiving an "Unknown Format" error code when submitting a form

Product: Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended
Hi, I'm trying to find out what exactly is Acrobat expecting as a return value on its form submission.
    two parts to my setup:
    1. The form. It is a garden vaiety form with a button on it which set up as follows:
Action -> Mouse Up -> Submit a form -> PDF The complete document
    2. The receiver.  This is a REST based service, expecting a HTTP Post.
For the most part, the whole setup works like a charm - the form is posted by the client, the server receives the file, creates a local copy and processes it correctly. After the post is successfully received, the last step on server is to send a reply to the client. This is where I’m getting stuck.
If I return an HttpStatusCode.Ok and a blank SOAP.Fault, I’m getting and “Unknown Format” error on the client side. I tried several different combinations/values/etc, including sending the result code only, but since I don’t know what exactly is acrobat expecting, I’m just shooting in the dark. Other error codes I’ve seen include “Invalid Server Response”.
Unfortunately I can’t find any guidance from Adobe on what Acrobat is expecting in return for the submit functionality, so any help/pointers are greatly appreciated.
    Thanks everyone!

Here is the contents of a sample FDF that will cause a popup to display when it is imported:
    %FDF-1.2
    1 0 obj
    << /FDF << /Status (Your message goes here.) >> >>
    endobj
    trailer
    << /Root 1 0 R >>
    %%EOF
Replace "Your message goes here." with the text you want to display, and don't change anything else in the sample. The value of the /Status key in the FDF is a PDF string, so it has to follow the rules described in the PDF standard (ISO 32000) for strings. So read up on it so you know how to properly escape/encode PDF strings.
Note that the server needs to set the MIME type of the response in the "Content-type" HTTP header to "application/vnd.fdf".

  • Form appears blank when submitted

I recently ran into an issue with a form newly created in Adobe Livecycle where the data from each of the form fields is erased when the user submits the form via email (as a pdf). The form itself is quite simple with 7 text fields, 2 date fields, and a button to submit the form via desktop email application. There is no JavaScript or FormCalc scripting.
I am using Adobe Licecyle Designer ES 8.2 on Windows 7. I have created several of these forms in the past with no such issues. Can anyone help?
    Thanks,
    Brandon

The problem is due to data binding. None of your fields have data bindings. So when you submit the form it becomes blank. So you can change the data bindings as below.
Select the field > Object Palette > Binding > Data Binding > Select Use Name. For example : If the name of the field is Description then data binding would be Use name (Description).
I could have posted the form but some security restrictions here preventing me doing the same.
    Thanks,
    Bibhu.

  • Getting DB2 SQL return codes when there is no SQLException

I am executing an update that is successful but may or may not be updating a row based on the WHERE clause. How can I retrieve the SQL code and determine whether or not a row was updated?
    Thanks, Donna

Well, the executeUpdate method returns an int that tells you how much rows where modified. So when using the method just declare an int to save that value and with it you can know what you need.

  • PDF form online but when submitted via email, received as XML

I'm trying to include a pdf form, created in Designer, on my website where guests can fill out the form and then hit the submit button and the form is emailed to me. Currently, I am linking to the form like it is another web page.
When the form is emailed to me, it is in the XML format. Once the file is opened, it gives me instructions on how to view it. It says to open the original pdf form and somehow place the xml data into it. Isn't there an easier way?
I would like to receive the "filled out" form as a pdf via email so I can just open it up with reader and print it. Others, that are more technically challenged will be receiving the "filled out" form also. The easier the better. thanks in advance

A PDF that has been Reader Extended activates latent Adobe Reader functionality such as save filled in forms, annotate, sign, and submit interactive Adobe PDF documents. For more info see

  • Can my form print automatically when Submitted by user?

Is there anyway in FormsCentral to have my .pdf print automatically on the user's printer, when the user clicks the Submit button.
We do need to collect data and we also need to automatically print the .pdf for the user.
So, I need to the Submit button to both print the .pdf automatically for the user and then Submit the form's data.
    Thanks,
    Susan

    Hi,
    >> Is there anyway in FormsCentral to have my .pdf print automatically on the user's printer, when the user clicks the Submit button.
No. Sorry we currently do not support this.

  • Anyone seen -3200 return code when trying to replicate?

I am running Oracle 8.1.7 w/Apache on the server side. Lite is 5.0.0.0. We're using PocketPC devices to replicate our database to.
After replicating successfully a number of times (like, between 10 and 20), all of a sudden we get an error to the effect: 'ocapireaderwriter.cpp, line 2225, rc=-3200.' Apparently, this error code means 'slot deleted'. We get this error whether we use mSync or the sync API (which I'm sure mSync uses) in our own sync app.
    Anyone had this happen before?
Anyone know what 'slot deleted' means?
Anyone know how to fix it without losing data on my client?
    Chuck

Have you tried upgrading to 5.0.1 ? We found a number of these unpredictable problems 'went away' after moving to 5.0.1.

  • Ended with return code when transport InfoObject

    Hello,
I have this error when transpot InfoObject:
"InfoObject 0OVDELIVTOL, version M being deleted, (basic char.  not found)
    What's solution for this?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
It seems whatever you are transporting...it needs these infoobjects.
Infoobjects are like building blocks of the house and should be moved first before transporting the whole house itself.
So transport all the required infoobjects in quality first or check if they are already present in the test system with the same structure as in development or not.
it is possible that the version in test system ma not be upt ot date with the changes with the development.
    Thanks

  • How are attachments handled when submitting a form

If a user attaches a file to a PDF form, can the attachment be submitted to a database or spreadsheet? Does the attachment need to be extracted from each form individually?

When submitting, there are a number of quite different possibilities. I'll discuss the file attachments that can be attached as comments since we were discussing them in a different thread.
You can set up a submit form action to include the entire document (PDF) or just the form data and comments (annotations).  In order to include the file attachments, you need to use either FDF or XFDF. You'd then have to be able to have some means to extract the attachments from the data files.
If submitting as "HTML", there's a different method that you have use that conforms to RFC 1867, which is nice because it allows you to take advantage of code that used to process HTML forms. It's a more complicated setup on the form since the form needs a text field for each file that will be uploaded.
Once the server gets the data it can do whatever it wants with it. This is a big subject and really beyond the scope of these forums. Probably the simplest method is to store the files securely on the server.

  • Getting return code from remote script after Unix rsh call

I hope one of you guys can help me with this issue. I think I've gotten the 'rsh' command to work from the CES application so that the sqr report generation can execute on a remote machine (instead of the app server machine). I'm actually doing this by having the app still execute the ces_sqr script, however, now the ces_sqr script will just have an 'rsh' command in it which will cause the actual real sqr processing to occur remotely.
I am executing a Unix script which does a remote shell call to another script on a remote machine. The remote script sends a return code when run locally, however, how can I get the calling rsh script to get that return code?
If I do the following in the rsh script:
    rsh -l resdev morph "/dev/bin/remote_script"
    rc=$?
    echo "$rc\n"
then the return code that I get is not actually the return code from the remote_scrpit, but it is the return code from the rsh command that is 0 (success) because the rsh command actually executed successfully even though the remote_script could've returned something other than success. How can I get the return code from the remote_script passed back to the rsh calling script?

  • Capture return code from system command?

Can someone please tell me what is the easiest way to capture the return code when executing a system command?
In other words I wish to execute a say a perl script and capture the return code from it.

    Process p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec("blah.exe");
    p.waitFor();
    System.out.println("Return code from blah.exe"+ p.exitValue());

  • Sqlldr non-zero return code

We recently switched from Oracle 7.3.4 to Oracle 8.1.7. The input to a sqlldr has duplicate records which causes unique constraint errors. That's not a problem.
The table updates are going fine on the new machine. I'm just curious as to why the script that was used to execute the sqlldr on Oracle 7.3.4 returned a 0 (zero) return code when there were unique contraint warnings, and the identical script and sqlldr code is returning a 2 return code on 8.1.7.
I'm concerned that the non-zero return code may be pointing to something other than the unique constraint issue, that we're not seeing.
The only discernable difference in the log file between the 7.3.4 version and the 8.1.7 version is the following:
Space allocated for bind array: 2560 bytes(64 rows)     (old machine)
Space allocated for memory besides bind array: 55256 bytes
Space allocated for bind array: 2560 bytes(64 rows)     (new machine)
Space allocated for memory besides bind array: 0 bytes
Does the above "Space allocated" statement mean anything?
    SQLLDR Code:
    OPTIONS (SILENT=(FEEDBACK))
    LOAD DATA
    INFILE 'IOR_out.csv'
    APPEND
    INTO TABLE sap_so_mstr
    div_ln position(1:4) CHAR,
    acct_so_iwo_ln position(7:16) CHAR,
    rec_type position(42:43) CHAR,
    SAP_CHG_NBR position(46:53) CHAR,
    task_ln constant '0000000'
Sample input to SQLLDR (in real life these values are lined up in columns):
    27 , 009911AAAA, 19991126, 20991231, C, IO, 9911AAAA
    27 , 009912AAAA, 19991126, 20991231, C, IO, 9912AAAA
    27 , 0099H2HRCM, 19991126, 20991231, C, IO, 99H2HRCM
Code within the script calling above SQLLDR code:
    sqlldr userid=${DB_USER}/${DB_PASSWORD}, control=${ctlfile} errors=100000
    Any ideas? Thanks.

Also you can add this in CustomSettings.ini (is located in \\<SERVER>\DeploymentShare$\Control):
    ;Logging
    SLShare=\\<SERVER>\DeploymentShare$\Logs
    SLShareDynamicLogging =\\<SERVER>\DeploymentShare$\Logs\%ComputerName%
and in appropriate %ComputerName% folder on <SERVER> during OSD will be generated dinamically updated BDD.log. After OSD is finished rest logs will appear in that folder.
You can inspect this with trace32 from System
Center Configuration Manager 2007 Toolkit V2.

    Hi,
If you have control over the remote script then put as the last line :-
    echo "Run OK" >&2
On calling Script (or Java Process):
    rsh -l resdev morph "/dev/bin/remote_script" 2> rc.file
(or pipe stderr to your java process call).
Check the stderr data='Run OK' to see if successful.
