Forms team: Make a comparisontable about administration inForms 10g vs 11g

Hi,
It would be nice to have a table making comparison about forms 10g and 11g ... I think that this would take few time from Forms Team...
For instance, differences in the deployement, in the administration tasks such as starting and stopping the server, differences in the memory footprint, differences in configurations, etc...
Is this anywhere and it is just me that i can't find it?

I'd like to know about how to make a complaint about a very unpleasant service experience and I'd also like to share this story with you to see whether you guys have any comments (good/bad all welcomed!).
I booked a genius bar service to see the technical consultant at 1:00 pm yesterday. I came at around 1:15 pm and I was told by the order person (i.e. the person who holds a list of bookings on an ipad and instructs customers to queue) that I had to book another service time (i.e. next week).Our conversation was not pleasant and is (roughly) the following one.
Order person: You missed your appointment so book another one and come next week.
Me: I had my work and that is why I am late.
Order person: Sorry you need to book another one.
Me: No other alternative? I took a bus and came all the way here.
Order person: Or you can try Bondi.
Me: ............No other alternative?
Order person: Or you can wait for half an hour to one hour. You have seen how many people there are here.
Me: All right. I understand so can I ask you some technical questions?
Order person: You need to make a booking and talk to a genius service person.
Me: I just want to know given the issue I have if I can make a replacement.
Order person: What is your problem?
Me: I bought this iphone here in Sydney and gave it to someone who lives overseas as a gift. When he made a call he frequently could not hear anything from the other end. I bought two iphones, one black and one white. (I showed him my reciept.) The white one works but the black one doesn't.
Order person: Did you restore it?
Me: Yes and I brought it here. (I showed him the iphone.)
Order person: You do not have a micro-SIM card in the phone?
Me: No because I do not use an iphone.
Order person: If you do not have a SIM card then how can we assess it?
Me: So you need a SIM card?
Order person: Yes.
Me: I came here three times and different people told me different things. The first two times both the came-up people said just take your phone and we can offer you a replacement. So I think this is how it should be.
Order person: Well, I'm sorry!!! Now you know you need to have your micro-SIM card.
Me: Can I see your manager? I want to know exactly what I need to do.
Order person: I am the manager at the moment.
Me: So that is all I need to bring? Iphone and its SIM card.
Order person: Yes.
Me: OK.
Order person and his colleague had an unpleasant laugh after I turned.
There are a few things I want to make a complaint on and I'd like to see you guys' opinions on this.
The order person's attitude was not very acceptable. I understand he is an expert in this area but I believe there are non-expert customers like me who takes time to understand. Some of his words and his laugh made me very uncomfortable.
Even I have come three times I am still confused about what I need to bring to see the genius service person. I can bring an iphone but I do not have an Australian micro-SIM card (since this iphone is a gift to other people who lives overseas).

Thanks for your response and yes, I haven't thought about the warranty being not international.
Having said this, using all the modern technology of identifying and tracking my device to e.g. figur out the warranty status, I find it not satisfactory. People like in my case relocate from time to time and Apple as an international company with employees world-wide should know better I think and I expect a more customer oriented problem solving attitude and -if you want to make a difference - it sure is possible.
Yes, I know the cue information from Manhattan, but in Hamburg you get other educational information on them.
For me there is a gap between the glamourous coolness, hand-shaking and introducing oneself on one hand and the unsatisfactory problem solution from the customer's perspective. As such I am already annoyed/frustrated when my device is not working as it is supposed to. Getting just process-required and not flexible responses does not help.
And no, I don't feel well, if I have an appointment scheduled for 10 minutes, invest already hours to make it happen and stay for much longer.
What annoys me is that I get the impression despite the fact that as an 'already educated customer' I do a lot myself in figuring out what to do best and be considerate and I am still confronted with an attitude as if I don't 'function good enough' as customer and should know this and that and better. Code looks reasonable except
a) the code in the actionPerformed is commment out
b) the owner of the dialog should be the frame

You cannot change your username on ASC. You can, of course, make a new one. The old one's posts will gradually go to the archives.

If you ave created the form and then filling it yourself and saving the form, the filled data should be there when you reopen the same form.

A week ago (7/23) I were in LA with my family. I was searching an Apple store in order to buy 2 i phones ( one for me and one to my husband). My younger daughter and I went to Apple store locared in The Grove. Meanwhile, my husband was parking with my other daughter. Inside the shop, I asked a maneger salesman if he could show me an I phone, just to see the product and his functions. He sarcastically asked me if I want to see it or buy it. I answered that I'd like to see it and buy it. At once, he called another salesman called Alan to show us the devices. I told Alan that I'd like to buy a white and a black I-phones. He stared me as if I had no money to pay for the devices, but he went to get the phones. When he came, he asked me how I was going to pay the phones. As I didn't know he was also the cashier I asked "sorry?". He sarcastically looked at me and answered: "if you want it, you have to pay for it". I told him that I knew it, and give him my credit card. He asked me an ID with a photo, and when I give him a copy of my passport, he screamed among the other costumers: " I can't accept this!". Immediately I gave him my drive license and a card from the Federal Council of Medicine in Brazil showing that I am a MD. Then, he angrily passed my VISA once, and I signed my receipt. He tried to pass one more time, but he said that the second phone could not be paid with a credit card, because it was too much valuable. So, I had to pay it cash, but fortunately I had brought enough money to pay for the device. After receiving the amount of money($800), he tried to destroy the notes, passed a device over them to see if my money was true money and angrily gave me the change. A Chinese costumer was looking his behavior, and certainly was not accepting his actions. I left the store almost crying, and met my husband outside. After showing the 2 cells and covers bought, I told him the facts. I entered the shop again and told the first salesman I met all the story and told him that I would certainly would make a complaint to Apple, because in my opinion, everyone must be treated with respect, no matter the shop, no matter if he goes there to buy or just know the products. The logical way to lodge a complaint against and employee would be with management at the store or by calling the store/corp office.

You cannot delete the account from the server (partly to prevent the username from becoming available again and some-one else using it to pretend to be you).. Having disengaged your devices from it, go to http://icloud.com and delete any data in there such as contacts and calendars. Then just ignore it.

There is no built-in date picker available for forms created in Acrobat. There are some third-party solutions involving JavaScript (either a large collection of fields or a custom dialog) though. Also, text fields with date formatting will use a wheel type date picker on Android/iOS devices with Adobe Reader.

As of now there is no good, direct link for feedback on iTunes itself. Writing Apple might be the best option, with the website feedback page perhaps the next best.

Macbook Pro seems to be bricked by ML install. Upon restart it shows a progress bar which makes it to about 15%, and then the machine simply shuts off. Help?

Title pretty much says it all. Install seemed to be going fine, then upon restart it hit a gray screen with a progress bar for about 30 seconds. Once the progress bar makes it to about 15% the machine simply shut off. I tried turning the machine on again a few times, but each time I had the same issue. I then tried running the 10.8 recovery disk, but it just showed the gray spinning wheel for about 6 hours. Any ideas?

Something similar issue with me too. Intallation went fine. Then it started updating java once reboot it got stuck on grey screen. It wont boot at all. That spinning wheel keeps on going forever. :(

If you have Acrobat, you can create a PDF from a scan by selecting: File > Create > PDF from Scanner
This is for Acrobat 11. Previous version of Acrobat have something similar.
In order for Acrobat to be able to automatically add form fields, you will have to at least perform OCR on the PDF, but I would not expect good results. There's only so much it can do and starting from a scan is iffy. You will probably have to create the form fields yourself using the various form tools in form editing mode: Tools > Forms > Edit

Embedding HTML into forms to make 3rd party Host Work

My form looks wonderful! Only one problem.... It doesn't work!
It won't says the form was submitted successfully, but I don't receive it. After reading a thread that said I have to make sure my host provider enables PHPmail, I contacted them they said I need to enter the following:
mail("receiving-email","subject","message-body","headers");
Into the form to make it work.
Is this right?
If so, how and where in the form do I embed it. I don't want to screw up the widget. I opened the html page for the form, but again I don't know where to put this line, if at all.

Sorry, if this reply seems like a products plug (which it is), but this is really how we solve this software engineering challenge at JKI...
At JKI, we create VI Packages (which are basically installers for LabVIEW instrument drivers and toolkits) of our reusable code (using the package building capabilities of VIPM Professional). We keep a VI Package Configuration file (that includes a copy of the actual packages) in each of our project folders (and check it into source code control just as we do for all our project files). We also use VIPM Enterprise to distribute new VI Packages over the network.
Also, as others have mentioned, we use the JKI TortoiseSVN Tool to make it easy to use TortoiseSVN directly from LabVIEW.
