Formula with operator * or / not working whereas + or - is fine

Hi,
I do not understand why the following Formula code gives results for OPERATOR = '+' or '-' and no record generated for OPERATOR = '*' or '/' :
FOREACH STEP IN SELECTION.
   { ZCOPAKF2, TA2 } =
      { ZCOPAKF1, STEP } OPERATOR
      { 0QUANTITY, STEP }.
ENDFOR.

For '*' & '/' to work both the operands should not be equal to 0. Where as for '+' & '-' if any of the operands is not '0' it will generate new record.
Check the value of your operands.

FR Studio - Sum formula with conditional replacement not working

Hi All,
I'm on Hyperion FR Studio 11.1.2 and trying to build a report against our HFM information.
I'm building a drillable income statement report that conditionally replaces any future months' information with a "-". However, when I try to use the [A:L].sum function to sum up all the months to get to a YTD value, the result comes up with nothing. The reason I'm using the conditional replace is because I don't want the periodic amount pulling through for the next month as a negative number and subsequently make the YTD sum zero.
I also tried to change the conditional replace to "0" hoping it would recognize a number better than a dash, but the summation formula still didn't work. I'm also hesitant to use the "YTD" view to pull the YTD column because I have the report scaled to thousands. The report does not always foot when adding the rounded periodic values vs. pulling a rounded YTD value.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to build this report better or how to get the summation formula to work?

Might be best to open an SAP message. But till then try the following. It may work-
include two formulae in your query
Formula1 = First Day of Next week
Formula2 = Original Promise Date
Calculate Past due Days = Formula1 -Formula2
You can hide both Formula1 and Formula 2 in query view. (or you can leave them open temporarily to see if they are actually getting populated). Also ensure that the dates on which the replacement path is being done are present in the query view.
I dont know why but this worked for us.

UCCX XPath-expression with -operator does not work

I'd like to read opening hours from an XML file. The UCCX version is 8.5.
The XML looks like this:

      <dow6>
         <open>
            <from hour="8" minute = "00" />
            <until hour="19" minute ="15" />
         </open>
     </dow6>
</dow>
</ccdata>
I simpified the file for testing, it should contain several open items later for every day of week.
I want to use an XPath expression to check if there's a open item for the current day of week and time.
I started with a simplified expression that should return the node for an hour value of 8:
//ccdata/dow/dow6/open/from[@hour=8 ]/@hour
that's working- it returns "8".
But if I change the expression to return the node for an hour value less then 9:
//ccdata/dow/dow6/open/from[@hour<9]/@hour
it returns nothing. If I enter the expression into a XPath test tool ("XPath Visualizer Tool") it looks ok.
Any ideas? Is that a bug?

All depnds what your using it for.. If it's an app, may be a delay in the app doing an update to be compaitible with iOS 6. If its for an Apple app, then you need to check the settings for that specific app.

* Hunting to a new channel within a channelset never triggered a disconnect from the previous channel(s). This isn't a problem in general, but does becomes a problem when an app defines two distinct channelsets containing at least one shared channel at the head of the list. In this case, the first channelset hunts past it and connects on a later channel. But when the second channelset hunts through (triggering a connect fault when it hits that initial shared channel that can't connect), the fault is processed by the first channelset as well (incorrectly).

Hi Grum,
If the formulas aren't filling to the new column, you must have changed something in the template since you first opened it. Numbers is rather fussy about filling row content in columns as they are added. Only rows with the same expression in every Body Column will fill when a column is added. Just as an experiment, start a new Employee Schedule document from the Template Chooser and then add a column by clicking the Add Column handle in the upper right corner of the table. If that works, as it should, then think about what might have changed in your working document to disconnect that feature. Maybe we can figure it out together.

As normal delete operation is not working i am using programatic approach from bean method. This approach works with jdev 11.1.1.5.0 but fails on ver 11.1.1.5.3

JDev 11.1.1.5.3 sounds like you are using oracle apps as this not a normal jdev version.
as it works in 11.1.1.5.0 you probably hit a bug which you should file with support.oracle.com...
Somehow you get the first row instead of the current row (i guess). You should debug your code and make sure you get the current selected row in your bean code and not the first row.
This might be a problem with the bean scope too. Do you have the button (or table) inside a region? Wich scope does the bean have?
Anyway you can try to remove the iterator row you get

Well for a start, you are doing some very strange conversions there. For example...
and to_char(a.msd, 'MM/DD/YYYY') != '11/11/2030'
and to_char(a.msd, 'MM/DD/YYYY') != '10/10/2030'If a.msd is a date then you should e converting on the other side ie.
and a.msd != TO_DATE('11/11/2030', 'MM/DD/YYYY')
and a.msd != TO_DATE('10/10/2030', 'MM/DD/YYYY')Also, you may want to take into consideration nothing being input in :P2_ITEM_NUMBER like this...
AND INSTR(a.item_number,NVL(:P2_ITEM_NUMBER,a.item_number)) > 0Is item number actually a number or char field? If it's a number, you want to explicitly convert it to a string for using INSTR like this...
AND INSTR(TO_CHAR(a.item_number),NVL(TO_CHAR(:P2_ITEM_NUMBER),TO_CHAR(a.item_number))) > 0?

We are using SSO. and domain controller has service user. We are in 7.31 PI as Java so user mapping is not done but have same users in Active directory.
SSO is working fine. But, once specific service is not working where we are using technical user when SSO is active and it is working when SSO is inactive.

Have you tried using the iPod with another user account or computer, to help narrow down whether the problem lies with the computer, account, or the iPod itself?
Maybe try reformatting it, using the tools provided by Windows. Instructions on how to reformat your iPod can be found in this article.

Normally, you just connect the monitor to the MacBook using a VGA adaptor that you can buy from an Apple Store. Now try System Preferences > Displays > Detect Displays. You should now be able to select a display mode for the monitor. If it still doesn't work, then I'd check that everything is properly connected. I've had problems with colours disappearing due to a faulty connection in the VGA adaptor.

FIND '/' IN <ls_data_package>-/bic/zbib_sysn MATCH OFFSET off2.
this works in all the case except for when <ls_data_package>-/bic/zbib_sysn = SSULTANA-VMC/.
(i.e. when /bic/zbib_sysn = USERID-VMC/, here SSULTANA is the user ID)
*In this case off2 = .
Value of sy-subrc is 0 after this statement is executed
Can some one please point out what I am doing wrong.

Most unlikely. More likely is that it isn't doing what you think it should be doing. Or you're using it incorrectly!
I can't really follow what your problem is. I assume you mean that you are getting off2 with value 0, when /bic/zbib_sysn contains USERID-VMC/
Can you be a little clearer in what the issue is?
DATA: off2 TYPE i.
FIND '/' IN 'this string /' MATCH OFFSET off2.
WRITE: / sy-subrc, off2.
This little program returns 0 and 12
