Forum RSS feeds log me out of their site

Greetings,
I'm trying to figure out how to fix this...
If I'm logged in to a forum, and click on the RSS button in the Safari address bar, I can read the RSS feed, then clicking back on the RSS button again brings me back to the forum logged out...
This also happens if I'm logged in to a forum, and try to read it's RSS feed in Mail.
I'm boggled.. any ideas?

If they left an activation lock on the device, you can't fix it but may be able to get a refund for the iPhone.

Firefox keeps logs my out "of those sites?

I have a strange problem with Firefox 26 where every time I have access to the Web using the (e-mail - my password) to log on to those sites, but Firefox keeps logs my out "of those sites? This happens when I close the browser or restart my machine?

Maybe also do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Are the forum RSS feeds broken again?

W3C validator says the RSS feed - for example for this forum - 'does not validate'.
Thunderbird also complains that the feed is invalid.

The feed looks okay to me in a web browser, but I'm not using an actual reader or trying to do any validation on it.

IWeb RSS feed will not load with any site.

I am trying to display an simple RSS feed on my website and what ever site l use, BBC, France24, ABC, FOX News etc... whenever l copy and paste the RSS link in the widget and click apply. I am shown the message "The RSS feed source can't be reached. Try again."
Here is an example of how i'm inputing the RSS link:
feed://feeds.bbci.co.uk/news/uk/rss.xml
feed://www.france24.com/en/france/rss/

Safari 5.1.2 private browsing logs you out of current site

Like it says, I log into a site, switch on private browsing, I'm suddenly 'not logged in'
Switch it off, & i'm miraculously logged back in.
So in short not only has safari 5.1.2 completely broken Chrome, Firefox & Unison, it's not screwed up private browsing.
I think the update should have said "introduces new bugs"

I logged in before I switched to private - not vice versa.

Using the back button logs me out of a site, only happens with FF, just updated to new version 16.0.1

The site I am referring to is one using Wordpress & a member management plugin called: S2member. This issue only happens in FF, I tested it in Chrome, but not problems. Just started after the new update.
Hoping its a bug you can help with.

Only Firefox 9 seems to have that problem. Firefox 8 and Firefox 10 (beta) and later work. It helps a bit if I disable javascript.options.methodjit.content, but then it still takes 4 seconds compared to 0.2 or 0.3 seconds with the other Firefox versions. So that looks like a bug with the JIT compiler.

Permissions And RSS feeds

I have installed three RSS feeds on my main top level site. I can see it and everyone in my IT group can see it, but no one else in the company can see them. I've looked into permissions and I don't see a problem there...Is there anything I might be
missing?

Can you check if the people who are not from the IT group are able to directly access the listfeed.aspx page of one of your rss feeds?
For example:
http://Server/_layouts/listfeed.aspx?List=ListGUID
If you can reproduce this I would also check the ULS logs

Intergrating RSS Feeds into Flash Builder 4...

I am very new to Flash builder 4 and I want to make an application where the app user can read through all the RSS Feeds and get updates everytime their connected to the internet. I am making this for the BlackBerry Playbook if that makes a difference and also can it be really simple instructions like I said I'm very new to this.

Ok, I think you might have your message title worded wrong. I think you want RSS feeds in a FLEX application, not Flash Builder 4 itself??
I, myself, am trying to implement an RSS feed into my application but have other priorities unfortunately.
The only bookmark I find in my list is this:

Sync RSS feeds from Mail to iPhone?

All I want to do is read my RSS articles on my iPhone... as far as I can tell the only way to do it is to completely change how I read RSS articles... and pay for an iPhone app.... Surely OS X using Mail and iPhone OS 3 can achieve this without too much pain? No?
The best way I've seen so far is to have a new application on my computer and NetNewsWire seems to be the only thing I can find where I can sync the same rss articles on both my computer and phone.
Please help... or please give me some good news that iPhone os4 will have native support for rss and osx mail. Coz I like Mail's RSS, but it seems a bit pointless now that I can't read them on the move.

2) Go to Mail>Preferences>Rules
3) Click "Add Rule"
4) Fill in the description how you like
5) Leave the any drop down menu alone
6) Click the "Any Recipient" drop down menu and select "Message Type"
7) Click the "Mail" drop down menu and select "RSS"
8) Leave the "Move Message" drop down menu alone
9) Click the final drop down menu and select the mailbox in the level under "Inbox" for example mine is "MobileMe."
10) Press Ok and Apply.
So by the end, my rule sounds like this:
" If any of the following conditions are met: Message Type is RSS Article. Perform the following actions: Move Message to mailbox: MoblieMe."
You should see your RSS feeds fly magically out of the RSS mailbox and into your email mailbox, which syncs with your phone.

Doubles in many of my RSS feeds.

Hello, for some reason, in many of my feeds, starting on Friday, I've been getting duplicates in my RSS feeds. Things like the rumour sites, Maccentral, Macosxhints, and others.
Anyone else having this problem and have solved it?
Be grateful to know. I saw someone back in later 2005 had this problem, but he never got a response.

I get duplicates in my RSS feeds all the time, and have been getting them ever since I started using Safari's RSS reader (ie: when it was first implemented, from 10.4.0-10.4.6).
It appears to have nothing to do with the originating site as it happens across all my feeds. Sometimes I get single dupes (ie: each entry will be listed twice), sometimes it's more (I've seen up to 5 dupes per entry so far).
It hasn't really bothered me hitherto, but glancing up to the bookmarks bar to see that I've got 32 new entries to read, just to find out 24 of them are dupes, is starting to get tiresome.
Surely I'm not the only one on Earth experiencing this? Am I?

Moving RSS feeds from Mail to Netnewswire

I have a number of rss feeds in mail. I wish to use a different rss reader. Is there any way to move the urls for the feeds in mail to the new reader without doing it all over manually?

RSS feeds not "highlighted"

Hi all,
I've recently upgraded to Snow Leo from 10.4, I used MobileMe to sync my bookmarks, etc to my new desktop OS.
All is fine. HOWEVER, new RSS feeds are grayed out as if they've already been read or selected. They haven't.
It's makes it tough to distinguish what's new from what's not.
Any ideas?

HI,
In the Mac Mail window, click the gray disclosure triangle so it faces down. Right or control click the RSS button. Click: Update all RSS feeds.
Quit Mac Mail from the menu bar, then relaunch Mail.

I need help pronto! I have podcasts on iWeb and I wan to put them on my existing website and not on .mac. I clicked publish to folder and it asked me for a URL for an RSS feed. Do I put my site address there? What do I put? I don't know. Please help!

Yes, you put your site address, like http://www.myname.com.
Make sure when you upload via ftp that you upload 2 things: the folder with the same name as your site has inside iWeb, and the index.html file published alongside that folder. If you don't do the folder you will break the rss link.
