Forum survey

Logging in today for the first time in months, I was met with a yellow banner across the top of the page asking if I'd like to particpate in a forum survey about he usefullness of this resource.
Posing my query, I've been trying to find that survey so I can answer it.
This forum redesign is awful in every way, shape and form.  It's navigation is hopelessly confusing and searching is an exercise in tirade-inducing futility.  Personally, I prefer the interface of 2 versions ago.

The offer to complete a survey pops up at random. If you decline to answer at the time, the survey cannot be accessed later unless it appears again (it may not unless you clear the cookies in your browser, since the cookie from Apple stores your declining of the survey).
If you have a comment about and suggest for the Communities, you can make them to Apple here:

  • Announcement: Adobe forums survey just opened !

    Hi all,
Adobe just opened a comparatively short forums survey that´s kept open until March 14:
    http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=5hFw2IRaEpwNDZgwMbMO7Q_3d_3d
Among other questions, this survey also lets you select which of their forums you visit frequently -- and, guess what, these ADDT forums are mentioned as well.
When filling out this survey, I think it´s - among others - important to let Adobe know whether these ADDT forums do have some relevance to you or not -- in other words: the higher the number of "I visit the ADDT forums" survey results, the more likely some decision-makers will draw some positive conclusions in regards to the relevance of what´s happening here. ´nuff said :-)

    Todd,
Thank you so much for your help!
I am trying to follow your advice and install AE CS6 through the Creative Cloud application, but it seems that I can only install AE CC through the Creative Cloud application.
The text on this page ( http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-cc-and-cs6-apps.html ) seems to indicate that I can choose a version to download, but when I navigate to the linked download page ( https://creative.adobe.com/products/aftereffects ), I am not given the option to choose which version to download. I can only download AE CC through Creative Cloud.
Below is a screencap of what I see when I am on the download page - this differs from the screencap shown as an example on the page instructing me to go there.

Google videos are your friend.  Google Videos is/are better than youtube because they include all of youtube plus everything else.
You would be amazed how many user-created demos/tutorials/tips videos are out there.  Even more amazing is how specific these videos are.  Specific to your model number of camera, of flash, of lens.  Specific to your particular tiny issue about Lightroom or Photoshop or whatever.
As for good learning/informational DSLR websites, here is a list of my personal favorites:
    http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/
    http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/
    http://www.canonrumors.com/
    http://www.lensrentals.com/rent/canon/lenses/telephoto/sigma-50-500mm-f4.5-6.3-hsm-os-for-canon
The Digital Picture has great reviews, plus a unique lens comparison tool (ACTUAL IMAGES!) in their "TOOLS" tab.
Lens Rentals contains Roger C's very well-informed, well-respected, and VERY witty commentary on lenses.
Cambrige in Colour gives a nice, refreshing and very civilized British sensibility to things, and is welcoming to beginners, and has good short writings on basic digital photography concepts.
Canon Rumors tells you (sometimes) when new equipment is coming out, and has a lively forum that is less flame-y than Nikon Rumors.

  • Java Technology Forums Survey

Hello. I am doing some research for my school course on who uses these forums. I would like to know:
Where are you from? (country / city)
    How old are you?
What sort of work do you usually do? (swing / j2ee / j2me etc.)
I hope you can help me in my questions.
    Stig Johanson

    Reality check.
People who don't already publish their personal information are not going to give it to you. Even if they did and by some miracle you got, say, a thousand replies, you have a big job on your hands to extract the data from the responses.
What you should do is put up a web page somewhere (what an astounding idea - actually write some code? whatever next?) and get folks to anonymously answer your questions there.
For extra credit, do such a good job that you can persuade the folks at Sun to include it as a link from the developer home page - yeah, you're right, that'll never happen.
Either way, it's a question of getting out what you put in.

  • Save the forums

Unless you want to be thrown back into the nightmare for good, this is the time to defend the way the forums are. Read on here and join the survey:

I took the "Adobe Forums Survey" (link above the topic post) a couple days ago and said my fill regarding the failed forum change and praised them on their wisdom in returning to the current format.
I'm agreeing with those who hate the "cfusion" pages. SUCK!

  • Multiple O365 Tenants, Single Authentication Scenario, AD-FS, Azure Questions

I have a customer scenario which is a group company with multiple companies within it. Here are the different questions that I am supposed to answer them.
They have multiple entities each having their own O365 tenant
Each of them their own On-Premise AD and have their AD-FS Configured, so users are able to login through their AD Usernames to their O365 Subscription
Now they want to setup up a Central Workspace (assume it is setup as a new O365 – SharePoint Online tenant) – which all of these companies can post and share data with, there is a Group Head Office, which controls this and they have their own AD as well
In this central workspace, there will be documents shared, tasks created, discussion forums, surveys, social features etc.
They do not want to do any AD Consolidation – so they are asking me – how will the authentication work in the future – each of the group company users should be able to login with their AD Username itself
Is this possible? If so, How can we do this?
Also with respect to Performance, it will be around 2000 users using this central workspace – so will O365 – SharePoint Online automatically scale or is there any special configuration that needs to be done?
In the future, they are looking at extending this to 3rd party companies as well to share information with – so there is a question as to how they can get authenticated as well (External Sharing is not really their preference)
so is there like an FBA – Claims (Custom Login Page) we can setup along with Self-Registration capabilities?
Again, when around 10000 users use this later, how will O365 – SharePoint Online perform?
In the future, how will Yammer and the new Office Groups work? Will Yammer go away? What is the direction that Microsoft is taking?
Would be great to get your responses at the earliest possible.

  • User Survey - new forum categories

Hi everyone! We've noticed that the Creator forum is pretty large at this point, and it might make sense to split the forum into sub-categories. We'd like to get your feedback on this.
    - Would you prefer to have the Creator forum split into sub-categories?
    - If so, what sub-categories would you like to see?
Please post your feedback to this thread, or email me directly at jen.erale AT sun.com
Thanks in advance for your feedback - we hope to improve your user experience with this information!

  • Creating a Survey - Novice Question

    Hello,
I am extrememely new to Javascript.  I have been doing some research online and copy/pasting code to create the results I need.  I am trying to create an online survey in which users select buttons to answer questions and then the total results appear at the bottom of the survey.  So far this is what I have:
    http://sicolaconsulting.com/SurveyTest4.php
The problem I have with this is that on each line, a user can select more than one box.  I don't want this so I thought radio buttons would be better.  I then came up with this:
    http://sicolaconsulting.com/SurveyTest3.php
The problem with this is that with the function I am using, I can only get it to display the value of the first line.  I need it to calculate the sum of all the lines.
Can you help me revise the script I have to get my desired result.
Here is my code for the first page, followed by the code for the second page.  THANK YOU!

  • Please help me with my survey...

I am doing this survy for my professor- I am at Bethedsa community college. (Currently, our JVM runs about 400% faster than commercial JVM, so this is definitely in research stage. )
I will appreciate your response- I need to get 20-30 responses- before my professor will release my stipend... I am sure you were a student once- So I will really really appreciate your inputs. You do not have to be complementary or negative to the idea- just be unbiased and honest...
We are building a better version of JVM which will allow profiling in production. This technology, if feasible and successful may be ported to commercial application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss and others, with the cooperation of J2EE vendors.
In this document, we will be calling this system- "DiagnoseNow".
The DiagnoseNow project is in research stage, and we want to adjust the goals of the project to better meet the requirements of the application administrator, designer and IT manager.
Your inputs will be tremendously appreciated.
PROFILING AND TRANSACTION TRACKING IN PRODUCTION

Your inputs will be tremendously appreciated.
We are giving away one $50 gift certificate at Amazon.com to one respondent. We expect about 25-50 responses only- So your odds of winning are high.
The features of this proposed JVM are best explained using an example of an ecommerce site.
    Ecommerce site scenario
    Description of system
Consider a typical ecommerce site with the following features: User Validation, Product Search, Shopping Cart Management and Checkout.
Each user that actually purchases or attempts to purchase a product on the website is consider a "Tracking unit" or a "Session". This new research JVM will allow the time spent in a particular "Sessions" to be tracked at the method level.
System administrator can if he / she so wishes get a report with the following columns:
Session ID, MethodName, Time spent in the method(inclusive of called methods), Time spent in the method(excluding called methods)
Put simply, the goal is to support session level tracking and profiling at the method level in the JVM itself.
This will allow faster debugging and application turnaround, reducing application maintenance cost.
A production ecommerce site could have millions of users and many more transactions per day. We are optimistic about supporting real life production sites.
    User Validation
    1. login: This validates the user using user name and password.
    2. logout: This logs the user off.
    3. passwordVerification: Using a database, the password is
    verified.
    4. retrievalOfLostPassword: If the user has lost his/her
password the password is emailed to the user.
    Product search
    1. byname: Search product catalog by name.
    2. byDescription: Search product catalog by Description
    3. bySku: Search product catalog by SKU
    4. byBrand: Search product catalog by brand
    5. Shopping Cart
    6. add: Adds items to the cart
    7. remove: Removes Items from the cart.
    8. update: Updates Items from the cart.
    9. checkout: Checkout items from the cart, by asking for credit
    card. .
    10. retrievePastData: Retrieve user information from the past.
    11. validateCreditCard: Validate credit Card by checking with
    the bank.
    12. sendConfirmationEmail: Send Email confirming the purchase.
    13. sendConfirmationEmailShipping: Send Email confirming that
    the product has shipped.
    14. sendSurveyEmail: Send Email checking customer satisfaction.
What is a "Transaction" or a "Tracking Unit" or a "Session"?
Each user who searches the product catalog is considered a "Tracking unit" or sessions. A session ends when the users leaves the website.
Transaction tracking/ reporting data at method level
Time spent by each user, in each and every method above is tracked in two ways: Time spent in a method itself, Time spent in the method
and the called methods. This will be done for each and every invocation of the method.
    Email alerts
Emails can be generated whenever a particular method(eg.
sendSurveyEmail) takes longer than a specified threshold.
    Analysis Reports
Analysis can be done on a variety of topics: Reasons for abandoning shopping carts, Slow or underperforming parts of the application.
    Thread dumps
If a particular method runs slower than a threshold value, then optionally a thread dump may be taken and stored. In this way, even if the slowdown occurs at midnight, the thread dump will still be available.
    Triggered heap profile
Similarly, if the system is running out of heap memory a heap profiler may become active. Heap profile may also be taken periodically, to allow analysis of heap growth.
The system is best explained using a few examples:
    Slowdown in search-books
Problem: Analysis of sessions shows that a large number of customers are browsing for books, but conversion to actual sales is slow.
Analysis: The book database has grown in size, and the server running the database has many more apps on it.
Moving the database to another machine solved the problem.
How and Why did DiagnoseNow help?
DiagnoseNow maintains history of all sessions. The history was analyzed to show customers who were not converting to purchases- a large proportion of them were searching for books, and abandoning the site afterwards.
    Slowdown in search-general
Problem: Search has slowed down for all products.
Analysis and Resolution: Analysis showed that all search methods are taking 250% longer than normal. The slowdown happened after a specific date- it was the date on which the OS was upgraded. Rolling back the upgrade and reinstalling it properly resolved the issue.
How and Why did DiagnoseNow help?
DiagnoseNow maintains a baseline of past search method response times. So when a slowdown happens, there is no time wasted "apportioning blame" or debating whether a problem exists.
    Credit card authorization- intermittent failure
Problem: Credit card authorization was failing intermittenty after hours
Analysis/Resolution: Credit card authorization was failing intermittently. The automatically generated thread dump showed a faulty connection. The problem was traced to the credit card authorization end, and was resolved.
How and Why did DiagnoseNow help?
Without the thread dump this problem could not have been solved, and without DiagnoseNow the problem would not have been detected unless the system administrator was able to take thread Dumps- for that to happen the problem would have had to occur during normal business
hours. (The off hours system administrators are Unix technicians with no app server or Java knowledge. )
Slowdown of overall system at midnight
Problem: The entire system slows down at midnight.
Analysis/Resolution: All methods show a slowdown around midnight, degrading system performance.
How and Why did DiagnoseNow help?
DiagnoseNow detected the slowdown, and it was discovered that a large admin program ran at midnight. Splitting up the work in the admin program into 5 chunks, made the performance impact lot smaller.
Slowdown at 9.05 pm Saturday/Sunday evening
Problem: The entire system performance degrades by 50% around 9.05 pm on Saturday/Sunday evening
Analysis/Resolution: The weekend cleaning crew was unplugging one of the appservers, to plug in the vaccum cleaner.
How and Why did DiagnoseNow help?
DiagnoseNow allows method level historical tracking and system level analysis. This allowed quick detection of an overall slowdown. Without system level analysis, a variety of alerts may get triggered, but the root cause may not be identified.

  • How can I convert an online survey to a word document?

I built a survey, rather than have the students do it online, I took a screen shot and then ran xerox copies of the survey. Now, I need to convert it to a word document. It downloads into a bunch of nonsensical trash. Is there any way to get it to convert correctly?

  • Аdding department export data from a survey list from user profile services in Sharepoint 2013.

When voting, survey Sharepoint 2013, there is a field created by whom. But the name is not enough. Necessary to add the department name of the profile data in the exported list excel.

    Hi,
The OOTB feature “Export to Spreadsheet” won’t contain the department in the exported report, we will need to create a custom one programmatically.

  • Survey Question - Carry over data

    Hi,
Is there a way to carry over responses/answers from a survey question from one slide to another? I have a scenario where users analyze a situation and note the problems (survey answers - ungraded) on one slide. I don't want them to see the answers to the scenario until the next slide but want them to remember what they've put in as the problems with the scenario. I've searched the forum but didn't see this situation. Thanks very much for any ideas.

For short answer questions the value of the system variable cpQuizInfoAnswerChoice is the exact text that was entered, which is great news for you I suppose? Be sure to assign the value of that variable to a user variable before the next question is answered. That means that best event to trigger the action is the On Enter event for the next slide. As you perhaps know, there is no On Exit event possible for Question slides.
    http://blog.lilybiri.com/events-and-advanced-actions
You will have to create an advanced action for that:  Assign v_answer1 with cpQuizInfoAnswerChoice
And you'll need a different action for each question, even shared actions couldn't help you because a variable (it is the user variable v_answerx that will be different for each action) cannot be a parameter.

  • Future of Forum

I have some great ideas....reference the future of this particular forum ( I don't know about the others. According to Jerry, I'm glad I don't )
There are some FACTS that need to be agreed on to put my ideas forward...
FACT A ) Telephone help with Adobe is not perfect.
FACT B ) This forum is VERY helpful
If this is agreed.... the next step is to look at the evolution of the product, it's market share "desire ", and the potential of THIS forum.
As Adobe competes more with FCP and Avid for pro work and a full fledged workflow that delivers product that PAYS WELL ( eg. broadcast, movies in theaters, cable, etc ) it stands to reason the program will be used more and the market share will grow.
If the above is somewhat close to the truth there is a major change that MUST come to the forum here.  It already is in motion but I don't wanna get ahead of myself here....
This forum is based on users ( USERS ) helping each other.  It's only been fairly recently that adobe "employees" are taking more of an active role in improvement of the forum help ( by answering specific posts and making help files and videos ).  Most of the help before that has been with some pioneers of the editing "scene"..  specifically ( but obviously not giving credit to everyone who deserves it ) , Jeff, Harm, Bill, Colin, Jim, Ann, John, and many more .... Some are "community pros" ( whatever ) and some just have big sausages.
As the new versions of the program strive to compete with the mainstream movie making ( money paying ) market and actually start getting some foot in the door.... the complexity of the program increases and the whole idea of trying to appeal to every aspect of the market gets more difficult for Adobe.  How can you program 4 million lines of code to deal with a "flip" camera, when you also have to write 4 million lines of code to deal with the new " Alexa" camera ?  It's nearly impossible.
So Adobe has to make a choice at some point... and I think it's coming very soon.  Focus on this... or focus on THAT.... and get off the "pot" so to speak.
Nobody wants to know about avisynth , frameserver, workarounds to deliver product ...and nobody wants problems in a workflow to make the product that needs to be delivered FAST with the best quality possible.  Nobody wants to know about command line solutions to re-wrap a stupid asset just so Adobe will take it into the timeline...
But, and this is a very big BUT.... those people here in the forums ( some mentioned above ), who have historically kept providing answers and workarounds and good quality solutions to the people asking questions... deserve to be recognized in a very big way.
My personal feeling is that Adobe should get off the pot now and make that move.
Offer those people here ( community experts and the most helpful contributors ) a "job" with renumeration ( pay them ).  Give them the real reward they deserve by saying " Join our team of help desk people " ( or whatever you call it ).  Take care of them by training and so on as needed.
Filter everyone who signs up to the forum with their serial numbers of product..so that anyone without CS5 will not be able to POST in CS5.  They get mssg " sorry, your version doesn't allow posts in this forum " .
Have a forum area for the more ' creative ' elements of editing questions to be dealt with ( like the lounge ) where everything is OK for posting regardless of version.
Pay Jeff, Colin, Jim, Harm, Ann, Bill, John, etc to work for Adobe ....to work the forums.
Otherwise, to be totally honest here....as I always am...this forum is going down the toilet.....
Why ?  Because it is simply caught up with an identity crisis.... It doesn't know what it IS anymore.  There is too much confusion ( as Colin pointed out recently ) and it's not going to get BETTER by itself.  We contributers and users CANNOT solve YOUR ( ADOBE) problem for you by providing help with accurate information in an atmosphere of " users helping users "....because it is always going to end up with problems ( eg. someone wants to help but they dont have the right " version" ).
This is not the fault of users because this entire forum is based on users helping users.
This is the problem ADOBE needs to face and make a decision about.... or the forum becomes a dead end.  You can't have a forum that has only 10 contributers that have had the editing program from version 1 to version 5.5 as they only one's capable of answering questions and expect customers coming here to get any real help quickly ( within a day ??? ...time is money ! ). These people ( contributors ) have their own lives and livings to make....so HIRE THEM.. ( is that so hard to figure out ? )
Likewise,  if the forum becomes a place ( alternative to telephone support ) for help there is the problem of language barriers and so on , and probably a number of forums to fix that problem.. But I don't work for Adobe and won't spend much time on thinking about that particular problem...  But maybe it's time to think about these things and " get off the pot " as they say....
This will always be a child's playground with abandoned "children" if Adobe doesnt take it seriously and pay for the help they have here...

What follow are some personal thoughts and observations.
FACT A ) Telephone help with Adobe is not perfect.
Unfortunately, this has been a fact, and for some time now. Adobe has been made aware of the deficiencies, and have stated that they are working hard to improve telephone support (not heard it mentioned directly, but would assume that this would also translate to some form of electronic correspondence too). I do not know how well this has progressed. Implementation of new policies in the corporate world can be very slow processes - think glacial. Still, having people with titles, such as CEO, Vice President of Marketing, etc., indicates an acknowledgement of issues, and a desire to solve those issue.
FACT B ) This forum is VERY helpful
Fortunately, this is also a fact. Even when C/S & T/S were "things of beauty" (yeah, I once ranked Adobe as all-time #2 on the good-scale), I advocated users going to the forum. Now, it was not really a forum, as we know it now, but a New Group on the NNTP Usenet. Along with several product News Groups, hosted by Adobe servers somewhere, there were a few product and general design News Groups, in the ALT and COMP hierarchies. That was where I got my start, so very, very long ago. While things were much more "free-wheeling," and especially in the ALT heirarchies, there were great contributors even back then. At one time, contributors like Chris Cox, Dr. Russell Brown and Mike The Curvemeister, and so many others , solved 1000's of users' problems, or answered their questions. Then things went to the HTTP world, and actually improved, IMHO. Adobe has always supported the forums (in whatever type they appeared), and though some will question Jive, I still think that there is vast corporate support, though maybe not all that it could (or perhaps - should) be.
I agree completely, and have framed many of my answers, such as those to the older, and very long MKV Thread. Adobe is in the business of making a profit through their software. There HAS to be a ROI. Defining what will, and what will not be supported is part of that equation. Sometimes it becomes very clear, like AVCHD, but sometimes it's just a crap-shoot. There are probably many cases, where the Adobe "crystal ball" let the developers down. We are never likely to know the value of resources that probably went into HD DVD, prior to the adoption of BD. I would guess that Adobe was having to play both sides of the street to some degree, and possibly lost some time and ground, as they waited for things to sort out. Still, I'd bet that there were parallel development teams at work to some degree.
Resources are limited. Time is money. Developers are not super-human, though some in corner offices might think otherwise. Decisions might have to be made, and some users, or potential users, might not get everything that they want. Adobe does a number of surveys, trying to clear up the images in those crystal balls, but in the end, have to project for ROI.
With greater concentration on the full-pro market, I feel that many consumer oriented development programs will just migrate down to PrElements, which is designed for a different market, than is PrPro, and especially recently.
Offer those people here ( community experts and the most helpful contributors ) a "job" with renumeration ( pay them ).  Give them the real reward they deserve by saying " Join our team of help desk people " ( or whatever you call it ).  Take care of them by training and so on as needed.
I cannot argue against this point, but will state that over the years, Adobe has provided me with many great products, and each has helped make me a lot of money. While not EVERY program released was perfect, most were very close. Some of the others were either improved upon and often incorporated into another product (think Streamline and Type Align here), and some were just dropped (think PageMill, and some others). So long as my Adobe products work well, and do most of what I want them to do, I will continue to try and help others get the same satisfaction, as i have derived. Being officially retired now, the $ is not a consideration. I do what I do out of respect for Adobe, and the great times that I have had with their products - still having that fun too!
I care far less about any remuneration, and more about support for all users of these products. For me, a couple of thank yous go a very long way now.
( is that so hard to figure out ? )
I do see the benefit of splitting the forums by version number, just like splitting them out between PrPro, PrElements and even Encore. That has worked well, though there can be some overlap in threads, especially between PrPro & Encore.
In the Photoshop Forum, there is a split by platforms, and that has been proposed here. Some questions are PC, or Mac-specific, but many are more universal, or involving aesthetics, or workflow, and are not platform-specific. Though the Mac continget is growing, there was a fairly long time, when PrPro was only on the PC. For that reason, plus some others, there are more PC users here. Were the PrPro forum be split by platform, I think that it would be along time, before the number of Mac subscribers would grow to the point of really being as effective. In the cases where a question would not be 100% Mac-specific, they would likely not be answered nearly as quickly.
From time to time, I have wondered about splitting out the old Premiere from the CS4 & Earlier, as it once was, BUT I think we'd end up with a backwater forum, that no one would ever visit, and the few, still on Pr 6.5, etc., would NEVER get a reply.
I'm cool with things as they are. Any reservations that I had about a separate CS5 forum (now CS5 & CS5.5) were proved wrong. Shortly after that split, I retracted my concerns, as they were quickly shown to be moot.
This will always be a child's playground with abandoned "children" if Adobe doesnt take it seriously and pay for the help they have here...
To me, the very presence of Todd, Jeremy, and several other Adobe employees here, indicate that Adobe is not abondoning the "children." I see their presence as a sign of support by Adobe, and welcome it. Sometimes, I wish that they could drop by the CS4& Earlier forum, but it is not like they don't have anything else to do...
Thanks for sharing, and remember, the above are just my personal thoughts and observations. "Any resemblance... is purely coincidental."

  • Advice required for a wpf window used for survey?

I am developing a wpf desktop application which contains a survey form. Survey form includes bunch of radio buttons. at the end, i want that survey form to be converted in to pdf with the similar layout as in the window of application as shown in the fig:
I want your expert opinion what should be best for me and user in the following options?
I should convert the window to xps or pdf  OR
i should just skip window and make a similar pdf layout that can be filled by user during survey using adobe reader pro and show it to user(In that case, we wont need to convert
anything, it will already be in pdf). OR
I should just take the snapshot of the survey window and then compile it in a pdf form.
    Extra:
I have already written all the radio buttons information to a text file. Initially.Initially i thought that user should save the information and then he can read it from a text file but that's unprofessional. I tried to make a flow document but its very hard
to make layout in Flow document. I tried PdfSharp, it was helpful but then there was document in pdfSharp where user will fill a pdf. So i got confused. Any further suggestion on this matter will be appreciated. Thanks

There is no built-in feature that enables you to convert a window or a control to a PDF in .NET nor WPF so you will have to use some third-party tool to be able to this. Note that you should not ask questions about third-party software in these forums though
as they are intended for Microsoft's products and technologies only.
Please refer to the following thread for an example of how you could convert a WPF control, such as for example the root panel (Grid, StackPanel or whatever you are using) to an XPS document:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/502198/convert-wpf-xaml-control-to-xps-document.
Using the approach mentioned in the link above you could just take "a snapshot" of the panel that contains the radio buttons and save it to an XPS document.
Creating interactive user intefaces as a PDF in Adobe Reader Pro doesn't sound like a good idea and converting an existing PDF into a WPF GUI doesn't either. Then you probably better stick to your window with radio buttons and then convert the result into
an XPS document. Or you could save the content of the Grid, StackPanel or whatever to an image and then use some third-party sofware to generate a PDF file from the image if you necessarily want a PDF output:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4560173/save-wpf-view-as-image-preferably-png
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8881865/saving-a-wpf-canvas-as-an-image
    Hope that helps.
Please remember to close your threads by marking helpful posts as answer and then please start a new thread if you have a new question. Please don't post several questions in the same thread and please don't post questions about third-party software in the
    MSDN forums.
