FPP2 Long text Error

Hi Frinds,
I have problem in transaction FPP2. I chose business partner and chage enter some value in search term, I click save buttion after one pop up vil come. I plan to cancle and stopt transaction nothink is allow.. i vil exit full and again i want to open. Thhis problem for some Bussiness partner only.
Please let me lnow why this pop will come and how to solve this proble, Any customized problr or data proble. Please let me know

Custom long text error

Hi
We created a long text id 'XYXX' for long text object 'MATERIAL' to store additional material long text like basic data, internal comment , inspection text. When I am creating material/Changing material custom additional long text is saving perfectly with text id 'XYXX'.
But when we are updating material using IDOC it is giving an error 'ID 'XYXX' for long text object MATERIAL does not exit'.
Please suggest what might be the issue.

The easiest solution would be to put a breakpoint or a watchpoint at the error message and analyze the condition while an IDOC is being processed. Have you tried that?

you are required to double click on this error msg and then may u get the detailed error msg. only then it can be concluded wht the issue is till then plz go through the following details(ensure yiu are maintaining correct return value for the feature TARIF:
With this feature you control whether the default value is determined
from T001P from the personnel area and personnel subarea, or whether the
default value is determined directly from the feature.
The return value must have the form xx/yy/z, in which xx is the pay
scale type, yy the pay scale area, and z the planned remuneration type.
If the feature returns SPACE as a value, then the value pay scale type
or pay scale area is determined by table T001P. If the value does not
equal SPACE, then this value will be taken as the pay scale type or pay
scale area.
You can either enter return both values or only one of the two values.
The missing value is determined from table T001P.

After installing Flash Player on a Mac with Mavericks, I get a long text error message about "Installation error". Can send screen shot if helpful.

Error message titled "Internal Server Error". Unable to download screen shot, which is a small file, but .tiff.
Any recommendations on the basis of this very minimal info?

Yes a screenshot will be helpful. The format needs to be either JPG or PNG to upload to the forums. You can use the Preview app (How to post a screenshot in the forum) to take the screenshot and save it in JPG or PNG.

Hi,
Check whether there is any enough database table space in your system. looks odd for checking database table space we faced similiar issue when running the reports in development system. Once the table space added they got fixed automatically.

Error for fetching long text in xml tag for xml publisher report

My requirement is to fetch a large document which is in text format in XML output which can be printed in PDF format by using RTF method to generate PDF.But during XML ouput i got the following error-
The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh

XXBG_EAMWRREP_V1 is the rdf and LIST_G_WO_ACTIVITY_CODE, G_WO_ACTIVITY_CODE, LIST_G_MEDIA_ID1, G_MEDIA are the groups name. In the group
G_MEDIA i am fetching long_text from attahcment in application. In Database table the datatype of the text attachment is 'long' and there is a huge text
data loaded in large data editor of that column. If the text data volume is small enough then there is no problem for fetching the xml output.
If we change the output format as HTMl then there is no problem for fetching the output for long text but for xml output format we are unable to fetch the data
in xml tag.
One thing to mention the oracle report is the copy of Maintenance Work Order Detail Report. The seeded report is HTML format in 11i. The requirement is to make it in xml report.

Error while saving Long Texts

Hello
We are using SRM7 Extended classic scenario.
We don't use shopping carts, rather create POs directly in SRM which will be transferred to ECC as per the standard.
Error:
I am getting an error "Error while saving Long Texts" during my PO creation. I get this message in a small pop-up screen. As soon as i click ok or close the pop up screen it kicks me out of the PO creation screen back into the main SRM screen.

Yes, only for Material POs
This is happening when I am creating the PO with a Material code. I can create free text PO without any issues.
This is a standard message and the message number is 022.

If yes then you can try the following option:
Have you checked whether the "/" is changed to "\" in the dbc file?

Guess you are doing some calculation in your routines ..based on Currency Key i.e USD or INR , GBP..etc ..it should be currency value..rather than currency key. Check your field caluclation

I couldnt upload the detailed check lists in the operations (operation tab) of the general task lists through the long text uplaod via Text->Upload->RTF---> .System is throwing the following Information...
1.Error loading file " specified path with filename.rtf"

Error when generating the report (see long text), Message no. AQ_AD_HOC221

Hi All,
I am facing a peculiar problem while executing an infoset query.I have created 2 customized fields Compa-ratio and PIR in infotype 0008 in an infoset.I have coded in these additional fields.
When I execute a query using 1 of these customized fields the report is generated correctly.But when I put both the fields in the output the report shows an error "Error when generating the report (see long text)". The message# associated with this errAQ_AD_HOC221.
I have also checked the data types and the references. Nothing seems to be wrong here.
Does anybody has any clue about this ?

Hi Bernd,
I had a look at those notes. But the information provided did'nt prove to be helpful. I found out the problem. I was using the same local variable for both the fields in their code. This generated the error. This error is a very generic one and does'nt help in finding out what exactly is the problem.
I changed the other local variable and it started working. When I was using the same variable that time I did'nt forget to clear the values but the query still generated the error.

Getting a runtime error in reading long text from production order

I am trying to read production order long text and the code is not showing any syntax error but if i execute it i am getting a runtime error as "Text object aufk is not available".
But i did check for the text object , text id enties in TTXOB and TTXID tables. Also i am able to see the relevant text in tables STXH and STXL, dont know why i am getting this runtime error and unable to debug.
I tried a lot searching in forums, but they all ask me to write the code in the way i did, so dont know what is the problem.

How to pass variables to a program called from long text of an error msg ?

The aim is the following: in the long text of an error message, there should be a link; this link must call a program or a transaction and pass to this program or transaction the four variables of the error message. Is it possible to insert such a link with parameters in the long text of the error message ? If yes, what is the syntax for this ?
(I searched in the forum and found the way to insert a link to a transaction, but I found nothing about parameters).

Unfortunately, this solution is not applicable in my case. I'm using the application log and the scenario is the following:
- the user displays the application log in transaction SLG1
- he sees a lot of error and succes messages
- by dubble-clicking on these messages, he displays the long text of the messages
- I want a link in these long texts to a transaction using the variables of the messages. I tried inserting a link to a transaction, and the transaction is well called, but with a breakpoint I checked variables SY-MSGV1 to MSGV4 and they are empty.

I don't think this is the right group to ask questions relevant to Controlling-Profitability Analysis.
otherwise, it seems in your 'Characteristic Derivation/ Display Rule values' you are missing an argument 'to Product Group', therefore the system gives you this error 'The system could not find a rule entry valid..'.
