i successfully run the workspace and sharedservices in web client to go on below url
workspace:- http://localhost:19000/workspace
Shared services:- http://localhost:28080/interop
but when i am using run the FR in web client .. am getting the error ..
Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
*10.4.5 404 Not Found*
below the url for financial report
http://localhost:8200/hr
i checked the EPM diagonicts every things is passed
please help me out this issues
thanks

Given that this seems like a recent upgrade, was this working before the upgrade to 11.1.1.4?
I would check that the Print Server was reconfigured after the upgrade and that the correct version of ghostscript* is used, as well as making sure adobe is installed on the FR server and client machines.
*You can check out the requirements here:  http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-foundation/hyperion-supported-platforms-085957.html
** Also make sure the correct ghostscript version matches the os version - x86 or x64.

  • URL to run Zimbra Web Client for Oracle Beehive?

    I installed Oracle Beehive Integration for Zimbra Release 1.
    How to run the Zimbra Web Interface? .
    Where is the Zimbra Web Client Interface?
    Is neccessary to download a Zimbra Web Client Interface from the www.zimbra.com site?

    Hello
    No need to download the Zimbra web interface from Zimbra.com
    Run Beehive runInstaller on a new Oracle Home (dedicated for your Zimbra installation ) and choose the latest option at the starting page - Zimbra Installation for Beehive
    Zimbra is an OC4J application, running on your HTTP port ( 7777 or 7778 by default)
    The URL to access Zimbra once installed is http://yourservername.domainname:port/zimbra

  • Re: URL to run Zimbra Web Client for Oracle Beehive?

    Hi
    I tried login to zimbra getting the following error.
    An unknown application error has occurred. Please correct any errors and retry. If the problem persists, please contact your System Administrator. (INVALID_PDU)
    I was able to login for the first time when i installed zimbra freshly in the machine.
    After had to remove zimbra home for other purpose. Reinstalled again, but getting this error.
    Should I need to remove any files that may be causing this prop ?

    Hi Fred,
    beectl list_components --type ServiceInstance commands gives the zimbra instance details as follows:-
    -----------------------------------+--------------------------------------------
    ZimbraConnectorServiceInstance | instance_zimbra-connector_BEECLIENT_zimbra.
    | beehive.beehive.com
    -----------------------------------+--------------------------------------------
    ZimbraUIServiceInstance | instance_zimbra-ui_BEECLIENT_zimbra.beehive
    | .beehive.com
    -----------------------------------+--------------------------------------------
    Hope that is a perfect result..
    I had uninstalled the Zimbra home using runinstaller remove home option
    Thanks and regards

  • Cannot start Web Client

    Hi,
    I recently installed Oracle Hyperion Data Relationship Management, Fusion Edition.
    Ive created a new application and repository using the management console succesfully, however when I try to run the Web Client, I get:
    --------================================
    Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
    Most likely causes:
    You are not connected to the Internet.
    The website is encountering problems.
    There might be a typing error in the address.
    What you can try:
    Diagnose Connection Problems
    More information =============================-------------
    The url generated is http://localhost/drm-web-client
    I am running on windows 7, 64bit and XP respectively with the same results.
    Regards,
    Olu

    It sounds like you are trying to access the file as if your JNLP application were running on the server. The JNLP app is running on the client machine, so you will need to use a URL to open the file. Take a look at the JavaDocs for the following:
         java.net.URL
         java.net.URI
         java.net.File
    You also need to be sure your server is configured to serve the file. For example, you ought to be able to access the file through your browser using something like http://www.myco.com/myapp/myfile.txt. (How you configure your server is a topic for a different forum.)
    You probably also want to look into JavaWS security, and even Java security in general to determine if you need to sign your app or not. Here are some links to get you started:

  • WEB CLIENT in Dukes Bank Application

    Hi, I have a problem with running the WEB CLIENT in Dukes Bank Application.
    First about the VERSIONs:
    I downloaded
    "The Java EE 5 Tutorial" For Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 9, dated: June 16 2006
    The source for the tutorial examples is obtained from the above mentioned "The Java EE 5 Tutorial" online, when on that page click on "Download". The downloaded file is
    javaee-5-doc-tutorial-1[1].0_01.
    I am running Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 9.0 (build b48).
    I am referring to what happens when I follow the instructions on pages 1209-1213 of the manual
    After you have read the description of the problem, please see below for output from running:
    ant create-tables
    ant
    ant deploy
    which I did according to the tutorial. Also I created the users according to the tutorial.
    As you can see below,
    ant reported dukesbank-war\src\conf\persistence.xml missing
    Could someone please explain why (and whether that is the reason for my problems).
    This seems significant (though I am an absolute beginner in J2EE and may be wrong). Would it be possible that the file dukesbank-war\src\conf\persistence.xml mistakenly was not included in the zipped source code file?
    APPLICATION CLIENT it would seem runs okay. I could log on as bankadmin, create a new customer.
    WEB CLIENT
    First of all the manual says the url is
    http://localhost:1189/dukesbank/main.faces
    but the url that works is
    http://localhost:1189/dukesbank-war/main.faces
    Is that just a small inaccuracy in the manual, or there is more to it?
    Now for the problem:
    I do get the page Please enter your customer ID and password and click Submit
    If I enter the user 200 (the one created as per the tutorial), I get:
    HTTP Status 403 - Access to the requested resource has been denied
    type Status report
    message Access to the requested resource has been denied
    description Access to the specified resource (Access to the requested resource has been denied) has been forbidden.
    Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 9.0
    However, if I enter a non-existing user I get the page dukesbank-war/j_security_check which tells me:
    Please check your customer ID and password.
    . Which is of course a correct response. (I would get the same response with the correct user 200 but incorrect password, which also makes sense)
    So, what is the problem when I use a correct user name and password, why can't I proceed?

    So please do try this all and respond. If you have ever got Duke's Bank WEB CLIENT going on any other version of j2EE tutorial or application server please let me know too, I am happy to go to a previous version!

    As you can see below,
    ant reported dukesbank-war\src\conf\persistence.xml
    missing
    Could someone please explain why (and whether that is
    the reason for my problems).
    This seems significant (though I am an absolute
    beginner in J2EE and may be wrong). Would it be
    possible that the file
    dukesbank-war\src\conf\persistence.xml mistakenly
    was not included in the zipped source code file?You can ignore that warning message. It's part of the BluePrints build system, which checks to see if you have persistence.xml in your WAR so it can package it. The persistence unit is in in the EJB JAR for Duke's Bank:
    javaeetutorial5/examples/dukesbank/dukesbank-ejb/src/conf/persistence.xml
    First of all the manual says the url is
    http://localhost:1189/dukesbank/main.faces
    but the url that works is
    http://localhost:1189/dukesbank-war/main.faces
    Is that just a small inaccuracy in the manual, or
    there is more to it? Actually, in "Running the Web Client" the page is:
    http://localhost:8080/bank/main.faces
    So in your case it should be:
    http://localhost:1189/bank/main.faces
    Try that URL instead, and see if you get the same error.

  • Calendar Web Client timeout

    Many of our users like to use the Calendar Web Client. They don't like how it drops them after 10-15 minutes of inactivity though. What governs how long before a Web Client is disconnected? Is it configurable? If it matters we run our Web client through an Apache server.
    Many thanks!

    Edward,
    Have a look at the following link:

    This a link to the calendar reference manual, - appendix E, have a look at the following parameter 'ssn_timeout'
    in the 'ocwc.conf' which is the config file for the calendar web client.
    It says that apparently the default value is 0 - which means the session should not timeout. I haven't checked what setting I have for out setup. However , I know it hasn't been changed since the installation. I don't recall anyone ever saying they have timed out.
    Anyway check the parameter out and the description given in the reference manual - it might point you elsewhere - OSSO - as they manual states....

  • Converter Web Client: get compiler error when run URL

    When I try to run the Converter's web client with the the URL:

    I have exactly the same error.
    Me too, I'm running on Win XP. And I have had lots of trouble to deploy the converter.
    I cannot install J2EE 1.3 as I am supposed to write a report on how Web Services may help my company. By the moment I can only say it takes me much more time than expected to run the J2EE 1.3 tutorial. As SUN didn't deliver a tutorial one can use.
    So by the moment if anyone can HELP me to finish this converter tutorial I will be thankful.

  • How can I run exe (on client machine) from forms over web

    I have a point-of-sale form that I currently run over the web. I have a great need to be able to open a cash drawer at the end of the
    sale. From the vendor I have a demo program (a Visual Basic executable) located on the local drive that I would like to run that will
    open the cash drawer. I am not sure if this is doable, if it is how?
    We are using Forms version 6.0.8.11.3 on Windows2000 against Oracle database 8.1.7.1.0 on Unix. We run our web forms from the
    Unix box as well.
    If anyone has any insight on how I could do this I would greatly appreciate it.
    Regards

    Mark,
    someone from our team has developed a PJC that executes host commands on the client side. This is supposed to be published on OTN (not sure if already was). I point him to your request to get in touch with you.

    If you are getting this error, then you are most likely compiling your code with a different JVM than what is shipped with the application server. Oracle9iAS Release 2 (9.0.2) uses the JDK1.3.1. I got this error when I compiled the code with JDK1.4.0_01.

    then only application ruuning at port 9000 is isfrv60 i stardetd.

    So, i MUST to set AOS listener port to 9000,and AFTER start

    Only in this way there are'nt errors..but nothing happens..
    Same story if the number port isn't 9000 ..

Whenever i check in excel, the epm add-in is already enabled. Please let me know how else can i get to resolve this.

    Dear Rudy,
    Indeed, could you please try the following suggestions:
    In the Internet Explorer, go to : Tools->Internet Options-> Security->Custom Level, in section “Download”, check if the option “Automatic prompting for file downloads“ is enabled
    In Excel, go to Excel Options-> Trust Center-> Trust Center Settings-> Macro Settings: check the
    options “Disable all macros except digitally signed macros” and "Trust access to the VBA project object model"

  • A web developer problem while running a web application

    Hi all,
    I'm novice to J2EE.
    I've encountered a problem while accessing the deployed module in weblogic 8.1 server.
    I'm sure that the webapplication module is deployed as i saw my module in administration console & also the status said that it is deployed.
    when i access my web application by specifying the proper server and port no and context root it is showing
    either 505 - resource not found error(http://localhost:7001/Suresh-2/Suresh) or 404 - not found error.( http://localhost:7001/Suresh-2/Suresh)
    Now let me elaborate what i've done till now.
    My webapplication folder structure is : C:\bea\user_projects\domains\mydomain\applications\Suresh\WEB-INF\classes\Sai\ServExamp.class
    My servlet is ServExamp.java
    I created a folder called "Suresh". In that folder created another folder called "WEB-INF". In WEB-INF created a folder called "Classes".
    Since my servlet is in package "Sai", the .class file reside in \Suresh\WEB-INF\Classes\Sai\ServExamp.class
    The source code is :
    package Sai;
    import javax.servlet.*;
    import javax.servlet.http.*;
    import java.io.*;
    public class ServExamp extends HttpServlet
    public void doPost(HttpServletRequest req,HttpServletResponse res)throws IOException
    PrintWriter out=res.getWriter();
    java.util.Date today=new java.util.Date();
    out.println("<html>"+"<body>"+
    "<h1 align=center>HF\'s Chapter1 Servlet </h1>"
    +"<br>"+today+"</body>"+"</html>");
    Now i'm almost done creating a web application. Next, I constructed a simple web.xml descriptor that gives a web friendly name for my servlet, and points to the servlet. I constructed web.xml descriptor file in the WEB-INF folder (C:\bea\user_projects\domains\mydomain\applications\Suresh\WEB-INF\).
    The web.xml file source is :
    <!DOCTYPE web-app
    PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.3//EN"
    "http://java.sun.com/dtd/web-app_2_3.dtd">
    <web-app>
    <display-name>Hello World Web Application</display-name>
    <description>Test Servlet</description>
    <servlet>
    <servlet-name>ServExamp</servlet-name>
    <servlet-class>Sai.ServExamp</servlet-class>
    </servlet>
    <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>ServExamp</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>/Suresh</url-pattern>
    </servlet-mapping>
    </web-app>
    Now I have told Weblogic that the URI /Suresh corresponds to my servlet "Sai.ServExamp".
    My Web Application is ready to be deployed at this point. I logged onto Weblogic's admin console,
    1) clicked on deployments, then navigated to "Web Application Modules" .
    2) Clicked "Deploy new Web Application Module"
    3) Navigated to the location of your web application folder (Suresh). There was a radio button next to it indicating that I can select that folder as a valid web application.
    4) I Clicked that radio button and clicked "Target Module".
    5) It informed that my web application "Suresh" will be deployed to myServer.It asked a name for my web application deployment. By default it was "Suresh"
    I clicked Deploy.
    6) After deployment, my web application "Suresh" appeared in the "Web Application Modules" tree on the left.
    I Clicked on "Suresh"( my web application) then clicked the testing tab, then clicked the link shown there(http://localhost:7001/Suresh-2).
    It was not showing my servlet (showed a 403 error)
    Error - 403
    This status code is commonly used when the server does not wish to reveal exactly why the request has been refused, or when no other response is applicable.
    I think so it came b'coz I don't have an index.html or index.jsp page.
    7)Instead,I added my servlet on to the URL it provided.
    http://localhost:7001/Suresh-2/Suresh

    If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
