Frame around an inputfield inside a table.

Hi Experts
I created a table with columns in Webdynpro for ABAP. One of the columns in the table is an inputfield.
Is it possible to create a frame around the inputfield in the tablecolumn.  I need a line around the inputfield.
Regards
Liana

Saket
Yes, I want a box around the inputfield inside the tablecolumn.  I already use celldesign for the other columns.

  • How do I fill by chunks a clob inside a table while XML is generated?

    Hello everybody:
    Needed to generate a single XML file from around 50 million rows, where the XML ouput matches not only row data but another default values for another elements and attributes (not from database but using strings and types with default values). Its generation will be a monthly task, so the process will repeat time by time. For generating that document, currently focus is based on using a batch process relying on Spring Batch, by using a single JDBC query where a join happens between a table and a materialized view (Both are datawarehouses, so it is not expected a change onto the data, and are single, non-partitioned tables). From my point of view, that approach uses: database resources, network resources, disk resources, and processing resources, including the price of making the join, sending to network, creating objects, validating, and making the file, finally wasting too much time generating that XML file. Promisse above that approach is to restart from the last execution point (savepoints) and to process by chunks of data (ResultSets). That processs currently is in development.
    Seen Oracle has XML capabilites, another approach may be delegating the complete generation of that file to the database (Current version in use here is 10g release 2). My current approach is to generate a clob where I will put all the XML throughput and putting it inside a table (My first approach was to put directly into a disk file, unfortunately, isn't possible because internal policies). Considering limitations on memory, processing and disk space, needed to append a single row-as-xml to the clob as soon as it is rendered, and putting the clob inside the field as soon as possible, or putting the clob inside the field, and appending into it as the data is generated (preffered approach); also, considering its a very large operation, needed to make savepoints for each chunk of data processed (each 20,000 rows, as example). Some way I think it may be done is making a temporary clob, filling the clob while getting the rowid, using that rowid as savepoint (No other CRUD operations awaited for the table and the materialized view), and later appending the clob to the clob(s) in table (is there some way for append one clob to another one in table?). Explained all those points, how do I manage the process in order to achieve that goals, using a PL/SQL stored procedure while using built-in functions?.
    Update: I did a small pseudocode where I describe my current approach:
    Defining a cursor;
    Creating a segment clob;
    Creating a temporary clob;
    Defining a chunk size;
    Defining a temp rowid variable;
    Defining a control number to be 0;
    While cursor
         getting rowid and generating next row as xml into a temporary clob (XMLSerialize):
         increment the control number;
         if control number equals 1
    write rowid variable to a control table;
         append the temporary clob to a segment clob;
         if control number is equals than the chunk size defined:
              append the segment clob to the clob inside a control table;
              restart the control number to be 0;
         else
              continue;
    At this time, I'm with doubt about how to append the segment clob directly to the clob inside the control table (I find using that clob as PL/SQL variable would use too much memory and swap).
    Any help shall be apreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Well, of course it's looping. That's what the "while" statement does. What you need is more like this:
    if (tableNumberJTextField.getText().equals("")){
      JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, "Table Number cannot be empty","Error", JOptionPane.ERROR_MESSAGE);
      tableNumberJTextField.requestFocusInWindow();
    }and you want this code to be called every time tableNumberJTextField loses focus.

  • Matchcode inside a table (selection problem)

    Hi,
    I'm working on a table that allows the users to edit its values directly inside the table.
    Two of the four columns of the table should show, in "editing mode" (ie. when the row is selected/is the LeadSelection), an InputField with a matchcode.
    Now, I have the input field with the matchcode attached, I've placed it in a CellVariant. And it "works"... well, sort of...
    Because whenever I try to click on the matchcode icon, the matchcode popup is not shown. Instead, it's like I've made a click on the area as if the matchcode icon never existed (if I am clicking on the third column's matchcode, I select the fourth column cell).
    A screenshot of the table:
    http://www.pchs.it/image-hosting/out.php/i43644_Matchcodeinsideatable.PNG
    Do you have any ideas on how to solve this?
    Thank you,
    Pietro

    I've made another discovery while testing the component.
    On Firefox 3.6.10: the click on the Matchcode icon does not work, pressing F4 when the cell is selected works
    On Explorer 6.0: both methods work
    Problem was... I was testing the component with Firefox.
    Damned browser (in)compatibility!
    See you,
    Pietro

  • Frame around a page

    Hello,
    I'm using iWeb 3.04. I've made a site, I would like to draw a frame around my page (just a simple rectangle). Is this possible?
    Thanks!

    yes it is possible, but it isn't easy as you think if you want the frame cover entire page.
    that because of z-index, see my explanation: https://discussions.apple.com/message/7431333#7431333
    when you add text box/shape, it lands inside body_layer, body_layer has higher z-index than nav_layer.
    to have the frame from the top of the page, you have to stretch the text box/shape over nav bar and that will nav bar to cease functioning. also you can not stretch it down over footer_layer, iweb won't let you.
    my method:
    1) show layout so you can see the layers: menu bar --> view --> show layout or command + shift +l
    2) add a text box.
    3) hold down command and drag it into nav bar area (nav_layer), you'll see it hilite.
    4) size it, add frame/stroke and send it to back menu bar --> arrange --> send to back or command + shift + b
    5) finally add my javascript juice: http://temp.cyclosaurus.com/revolving/CodeInject.html

  • Nice simple frame around photo

    I have a number of photos that I need to put on a site.
    I would like the photos to have a simple frame around them.
    I realize this is a pretty basic question, and I can think of several ways to do it, but since I am doing a bunch of them I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions.
    The built in frames in Fireworks CS4 Auto shapes panel are too fancy for what I want.
    Attached is a screen capture of what I would like.  Notice that it's a photo inside of a while frame with a slight drop shadow. I might want to make the white frame a few pixels wider, but the example JPG is basically what I want.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks
    Rowby

    If you want a way that you can get that effect using a batch process then I may have a way. Once you get this tweaked, make it a command and run the command in the batch. I have a movie on this part, if interested I'll find it :-)
    open an image
    apply a Photoshop stroke, outside, 4 pixels white. You need to tweak settings to get sharp square edges. I didn't do that part.
    Apply a FW glow: In property inspector select Shadow nd Glow, width of 1, gray, offset and distance 0 and opacity 100%
    Select shadow and glow again and add a drop shawdow.
    Once it looks the way you want make a command

  • How do I Add a Picture Frame Around a Flash Video?

    I tried searching for this but "frame" has too many meanings. I have flv videos inserted in several web pages, but they look dull without some sort of fancy border or frame around them. Maybe a picture frame. Maybe the image of a flat screen TV surrounding the image. But how do I add the image "behind" the video so that the video sits perfectly inside the image, regardless of the monitor viewing the image.

    Do a google search for the IE PNG Fix javascript.  Some work better than others.  The one you had didn't work at all for PNG backgrounds in pre-IE7.
    Copy and Paste the following document into a new blank page and see how it looks in all the major browsers.  I changed your document type to XHTML transitional and replaced deprecated <div align> tags with inline CSS styles.  I also ran your Flash code through http://validifyer.com to make it XHTML compliant.

    Thanks. I asked a friend and he told me about the %but I still had a problem. Your expression solved my problem
            private function placeTile(mouseX:int, mouseY:int, frame:uint):void {
                var tile:Tile = new Tile();
                tile.gotoAndStop(frame);
                tile.x = Math.floor(mouseX / tileSize) * tileSize;
                tile.y = Math.floor(mouseY / tileSize) * tileSize;
                stage.addChild(tile);
    That way every tile is centered every 50 pixels

  • Putting a "picture frame" around an entire video

    Hey there! thanks in advance for the help.
    I'm attempting to put a "picture-frame" around a video that will be visible throughout the duration of the movie. Is there any way to do this in FinalCut Pro?
    Thanks!

    There are some great Frames in the Motion Content. Open Motion using same settings as your FCP project and find the one you like in the Motion Library and drag it to your new Motion project.
    Size it to your tastes.
    Then open Layers (cmd-4) twirl the disclosure triangle and delete the drop zone.
    Now export it. When you bring it into FCP you will have a frame you can place over any video and the video will show inside the frame.
    Good luck

  • Difficulty with tables inside of tables formatting

    I'm using BIP and doing a repeating group so that the first column of my report is suppressed. This results in 2 or 3 rows based on the first column grouped together. The table wizard does this by inserting a table inside a table. Unfortunately i can't get my headers on the outer table to line up with the columns on the inner table. Word allows me to set a "preferred width" on table columns and cells but i really want it fixed to combat my problem. Also, the inside table seems to have cell padding between it and the outer table, but i don't see any Word settings to configure this. I've saved the HTML source and don't see any cellpadding tags either.
    I'd be happy to provide the XML and .RTF if someone could take a look.
    Thanks.

    If I'm not wrong your problem seems to be some what metioned in Tim's blog about group left or group right..
    http://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher/2007/05/left_up_down_right_group.html
    All you have to do is to play around with the table properties of both table (outer and inner). Try to decrease the cell margins(Right click on table--->table properties-->options) for both left and right margins of the tables.

    Hi MyAppleID99,
    You may want to check to make sure the clip hasn't been moved back and forth between wide screen and standard aspect ratios; sometimes a combination of letterboxing and pillarboxing can lead to a black frame "windowbox" when playing the final video. You may find the following article helpful:

  • How to refresh the list of select one choice which is inside a table?

    Hello I am using Jdeveloper Version 11.1.2.1.0.
    The table is a normal table that is made to look like a treeTable.
    For some rows are or can be parents with Parent_vo_group_id = null and other are children with parent_vo_group_id = vo_group_id of the parent...
    If a children changes its parent_vo_group_id to null it can become a parent as well.

    group by parent_vo_group_id) t2
    where t1.vo_group_id = t2.parent_vo_group_id (+)the ParentVoGroupId attribute has list of values from this view object called VoGroupAdminLov:
    SELECT
        VO_GROUP.NAME,
        VO_GROUP.VEHICLE_OWNER_ID,
        VO_GROUP.PARENT_VO_GROUP_ID,

        VO_GROUP
    WHERE  VO_GROUP.PARENT_VO_GROUP_ID is null
    and VO_GROUP.VO_GROUP_ID <> ?
    order by  VO_GROUP.NAMEI want to refresh the list of values in the select one choice everytime when i add a new row in the table, delete row in the table or change the value of select one choice component.
    What I have tried:
        public void parentIdValueChangeListener(ValueChangeEvent valueChangeEvent) {
            this.setValueToEL("#{row.bindings.ParentVoGroupId.inputValue}", valueChangeEvent.getNewValue());
            BindingContainer bc = BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
            DCIteratorBinding voGroupAdminIterator = (DCIteratorBinding)bc.get("VoGroupAdminView2Iterator");
            Key selectedGroupKey = voGroupAdminIterator.getCurrentRow().getKey();
            AppModuleImpl am = (AppModuleImpl)ADFUtils.getApplicationModuleForDataControl("AppModuleDataControl");
            am.getTransaction().postChanges();
            am.getVoGroupAdminView2().executeQuery(); //refresh the table view object;
            am.getVoGroupAdminLov1().executeQuery(); //refresh the list of values view object
            voGroupAdminIterator.invalidateCache();  //remove the cache of the iterator
            voGroupAdminIterator.setCurrentRowWithKey(selectedGroupKey.toStringFormat(true)); // set the selected row again.
            RichSelectOneChoice soc =
                (RichSelectOneChoice)FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getViewRoot().findComponent(":pt1:t5:soc2");
            AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(soc);
            AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(this.groupTable);
        }When i am adding a new row to the table its select one choice list is refreshed but only for the new row. The rest rows have not updated list of values for their select one choice components.
        public String addGroupButtonAction() {
            AppModuleImpl am = (AppModuleImpl)ADFUtils.getApplicationModuleForDataControl("AppModuleDataControl");
            ViewObjectImpl voGroupAdminView = am.getVoGroupAdminView2();
            Row newRow = voGroupAdminView.createRow();
             newRow.setNewRowState(Row.STATUS_INITIALIZED);
            voGroupAdminView.insertRowAtRangeIndex(0, newRow);
            am.getTransaction().postChanges();
            return "null";
        }Edited by: 897833 on Mar 19, 2012 9:07 AM

    I made a button to refresh the value of select one choice and it doesn't work yet.
    So I just move one of the
        public String refreshParentIdSOCButtonAction() {
            BindingContainer bc = BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
            DCIteratorBinding voGroupAdminIterator = (DCIteratorBinding)bc.get("VoGroupAdminView2Iterator");
            Key selectedGroupKey = voGroupAdminIterator.getCurrentRow().getKey();
            AppModuleImpl am = (AppModuleImpl)ADFUtils.getApplicationModuleForDataControl("AppModuleDataControl");
            am.getTransaction().postChanges();
            am.getVoGroupAdminView2().executeQuery();
            am.getVoGroupAdminLov1().executeQuery();
            voGroupAdminIterator.invalidateCache();
            voGroupAdminIterator.setCurrentRowWithKey(selectedGroupKey.toStringFormat(true));
            AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(this.parentIdSelectOneChoice);  //refresh the binded SOC as you said
            AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(this.parentIdSelectOneChoiceList); //refresh the binded list even
            AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(this.groupTable); //refresh the table it is in;
            return null;
        }Edited by: 897833 on Mar 23, 2012 2:58 AM
