Frm-10205 Menu MAIN not found

Hi, i have a KBW_MENU.mmx. i'm trying to add the menu to a new form (MAIN), i have change the 'menu module' to the path of the KBW_MENU.mmx and set the initial menu to MAIN. But i'm getting this error 'frm-10205 Menu MAIN not found'. i'm running 10g release 2.

1) do you really have a kbw_menu.mmx in the path or just a kbw_menu.mmb. You must have a mmx.
2) Did you try just leaving the initial menu property blank?
3) The initial menu must be blank or a menu within kbw_menu.mmx.
4) You most likely dont have a "main" menu in the kbw_menu.mmx file. Do you have a "main_menu"?
5) Open up the mmb and use the exact name of one of the menus within.
From the help...
Initial Menu
Specifies the name of the individual menu in the menu module that Oracle Forms should use as the main, or top-level, menu for this invocation. End users cannot navigate above the menu specified as the starting menu. By default, the starting menu is the menu named in the menu module property, Main Menu. The Initial Menu property allows you to override the Main Menu property.

  • Load: class oracle.forms.engine.Main not found Stuck at loading Java Applet

    Hi there
I have recently installed App Server 10.1.2.0 on a new machine.
Copied all my forms to an appropriate directory. Set up formsweb.cfg to allow them to run and have attempted to run them.
Unfortunately I get stuck at the Loading Java Applet screen, and in the status bar at the bottom it says :
    load: class oracle.forms.engine.Main not found
I have taken a look at the Java Console, and the 2 things that jump out at me are that it appears to be looking for a forms90 directory, which seems odd since I am using App Server 10.1.2.0.2 and Forms Builder 10.1.2.0.2 meaning it should be looking in a forms directory not forms90 directory shouldnt it ?
And also, it mentions class with no proxy, so on looking around the forums it has been suggested that put the proxy details into jinitiator, which I have done, but this has made no difference either.
Can anyone suggest anything else please ?
    Java Console log follows.
    Thanks a lot

  • Oracle.forms.engine.Main not found.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException error

    Hi Members,
I am getting the oracle.forms.engine.Main not found.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException error when trying to access Oracle forms using APEX 2.2.1 and SSO.
    load:class.oracle.forms.engine.Main not found
The forms have been compiled, forms path setup properly and the setup required to run forms seems to be right. Jinitiator has also been installed.
I have searched the forums and tried everything. I have checked jinitiator settings, cleared cache and even reinstalled it. Do you have any experience with this error? Appreciate any answers. Thanks.
    Ravi.

    Dear Friends,
I was also facing the same problem. to solve this, i have uninstalled Oracle Jinitiator. Cleared all the temporary internet files & cookies. Then while running the form, when it asks to install JInitiator, i have specified a different path for jinitiator, For Example, By default it asks for C:\programfiles, i have changed it to c:\manish directory.
This has solved my problem. Probably this also help you.

In my case, on my machine, the codebase virtual directory name is defined as forms60java and is mapped to the Forms_Home\Forms60\Java directory, which is where the f60allxxx.jar files are stored.
    Alias /forms60java/ "D:\Oracle\806\FORMS60\java/"
Look out for the 6iServer.conf file on the Oracle9iAs installation of Forms. In this file you see the value used in your configuration. Open the formsweb.cfg file (assuming you are using the Forms Servlet) in the forms60/server directory and search for the "codebase" parameter. The value should be the relative path mapping in the 6iServer.conf file.
You can test if the codebase value works in that you copy an image to the forms60/java directory and call it by
    http:// ..../<forms_mapping>/gifname

  • Deployment problem on WLS8.1sp3: com.sun.javac.Main not found

    Hi,
I have a curious problem, after adding some simple (logging) code to an Session Bean, the EAR file will not deploy. I get the message below concerning compilation problems. If however I restore the Session Bean to the previous state, and having build a new EAR file, the erro persists. What is this strange behaviour, has this to do with weblogic settings for the EAR file of whatever ?
NB I also have tried to include the tool.lib jar in the projekt but that doesn't solve the problem.

  • Error oracle.forms.engine.Main not found.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException

    Hi all,
I tried to update oracle_logo.gif in forms jar which is in f90all_jinit jar. I placed my icon in forms\oracle\forms\icons and renamed it as oracle_logo.gif while removing the existing one. Then I did jar the forms and placed that in f90all_jinit and again did jar f90all_jinit. Then, I placed this in ORACLE-HOME/forms90/java. When I tried to run the form...the form could not open and the java console shows this..
    Loading http://<MACHINE_NAME>:8888/forms90/java/f90all_jinit.jar from JAR cache

Can anyone guide me on how to get rid of this error ? Strange thing is that I've removed that f90all_jinit.jar and placed back the existing one (I took backup). But still it's showing the same error and not opening the form. I could and can not do anything without this error corrected.
Please suggest me as soon as possible...
    thank you

module. I have placed the mmx in the same directory as the fmx.
When i run the application the first form has no menu attached
to it and works correctly, it then calls the second form using
call_form (formname, hide, do_replace); When the form loads the message
frm-10205 appears, the form loads without a menu.

  • Launch Wine programs from menu: FIle not Found

I have installed eMule with wine, and get the "File not found" message when running it from the menu.
This was discussed in THIS thread, but none of the possible solutions work for me
    Original:
    env WINEPREFIX="/home/daerunarch/.wine" wine C:\\windows\\command\\start.exe /Unix /home/daerunarch/.wine/dosdevices/c:/users/Public/Start\ Menu/Programs/eMule/eMule.lnk
    Doesn't work
Edited the menu entry with alacarte:
    wine 'C:\Program Files\eMule\emule.exe'
    doesn't work
    wine '.wine/drive_c/Program Files/eMule/emule.exe'
    doesnt' work
    wine "/home/username/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/eMule/emule.exe"
    doesn't work
    wine "/home/username/.local/share/applications/wine/Programs/eMule/eMule.desktop"
    dosen't work
Also all the previous begining with "env WINEPREFIX=" instead of "wine". Nothing worked o_0 What should I try now?

Null, the problem is not running from gnome menu. I can make it run from console, and it shows these messages, just in case there's some hint here:

Karol, that command didn't do anything for me...
Turvyc, I know about aMule and have used it, but stuck to eMule because of some features it didn't have. If I can't run eMule I might as well return to aMule, as I know how to migrate configurations.

  • Main Not found in Eclipse Editor

    Hello Guys!
I am trying to run a simple java program in Eclipse for the first time, and it is giving me the error:
" The active editor does not contain mail type".
I am confused as where is the problem.
Any sort of help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanx
    Harbir

Check the signature of main. It is important that it is not any of:
    static public void Main(String [ ] args)
    public void main(String [ ] args)
    static void main(String [ ] args)
    void main(String [ ] args)
    static public void main()but
static public void main(String [ ] args)(The void can be replaced by int also) If you have a method in a class named like this you
should be able to follow ChristianMenne's instructions. If not ask in a eclipse newsgroup
    at http://www.eclipse.org

  • Menu not found (FRM-10205)

    Hi, people!!
I'm deploying a forms application with a menu. I've compiled both form and menu modules. In spite of that, when I try to run the form, I get the follow error message:
    Menu [menu_file_name.mmx] not found
The file exists and the path is specified in the search path. What's wrong?
Any help would be thankfully appreciated.

    Hi,
Even I have experienced the same problem. The problem is very clearly with the PATH u have specified.
Check for SPACES and UNDERSCORES in the path u have given. Even if there is a space or an underscore that is present / missing in the path, then u get the error.
    Hope this suffices.

  • "File not found" error when I try to render an animated menu (on mac) Encore CS4

I'm making a dvd with at least 2 animated menus. It means that I have a 1 movie in the background of each menu. Over my background, I have 3 thumbnail buttons which contain a small piece of movie animated movie too. When I try to to view my menus, in order to see the animation in the background and in the thumbnails I need to render the animation through File - Render - Motion menus.
The problem is that it works for the first menu but then when I continue my navigation to the second menu that has animation in background and thumbnails too, if I choose Render Motion menus, after 3/4 of the rendering it says "file not found" even if all the files are well in place in their folders.
Does anyone would have an idea of how to resolve this stupid problem that prevents me to burn my project on a DVD since the same errors will appear during the burning process (I use a mac with Encore CS4). Is it a bug? What are the solutions? Thanks for answering.
    Steven.

    SteveDVD,
The use of the .WMV was because that was part of the Library .EM template. I would not anticipate problems with other formats, so long as they are supported and the same for all of your Menus in the Project.
If you have done several Motion Menu Renderings, you might want to clear Encore's Media Cache, just in case it is still referencing previous Render files.
And yes, the re-Importation should yield the same result as Linking/re-Linking.
Unfortunately, I do not have CS4, so I can't test this for you. There do seem to be a few real Bugs in the various CS4 programs, and maybe this is one?
That "File Not Found" rings a bell in my feeble brain. Seems that there was a post on that, but I do not remember it being related to Motion Menus. Maybe search will yield something of use.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

    Gents,
    I am triggering a background through an RFC using JOB_OPEN,JOB_SUBMIT & JOB_CLOSE
the program associated with the Job is put in to execution immly I don't have any problem
but some Jobs are in Cancelled Status  coz the program was terminated due to the Error Message
Log not found ( in main memory ) Message Class - BL Message ID - 207 all the cancelled jobs are
    having the same message.
It's pretty sure that this message is not issued by my background program. How to get rid of this
