Here's the error message I get.
Note the TC is connected to my Airport Extreme via ethernet and my iMac is also connected to the AX via ethernet so it's not a wifi issue.
I can see the TC in the finder so it's not 'gone' from the network either.
Also note that just then the TM system pref pane was claiming a backup error, citing my 'network password' and still refusing to backup. I waited 5 minutes and did some tidying of my office while I pondered this and then tried again and voila it worked ok.

Settings -> FaceTime, right?
My guess would be though, that the FaceTime history is stored locally on the device, so anyone using it will see the entire device history (I cannot imagine that FaceTime uploads the history to an Apple server anywhere - I'm sure it is just logged locally on the device - based on my iPhone and iPad show completely different histories, for example).

Try changing firefox to the default browser: [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Setting_Your_Default_Browser]. That will probably get firefox to open when you dial up.

On websites I visit daily – newspapers, Hotmail, etc, even though I have clicked "remember me on this computer", it does not work. I have to log in every time I have restarted my computer (Mac OSX 10.5.8). Also, this may be related. I have iGoogle as my home page, but "themes", location, widgets, etc are not saved when I shut down.

When I click "unhide" in my hidden purchases list, it still does not show up

I hid all my TV show purchases to clean up my library by pressing the 'x' on the icon corners. I believe it would say "do you want to hide this from iCloud?" and clicked yes.
Now, when I go to my iTunes account > Hidden Purchases, my shows are all there. But when I click 'unhide' and then return to iTunes home > Purchased, nothing has shown up and I can't click on anything (Seasons, Episodes, Sort by bar are disabled).
Does anyone know where to retrieve these purchases? Maybe from iCloud itself?

I've seen a report that Conduit may be bundled with a scam "utility" called "MacKeeper." If you installed MacKeeper, you should remove it according to the developer's instructions. It's worthless and causes many problems reported on this site.

When I click on bookmarks in the menu toolbar, my bookmarks do not show up

This is Firefox on a new Windows 7 laptop, which I downloaded last week. I have created a bunch of bookmarks and a couple of new folders. If I click on bookmarks, organize bookmarks, they all show. But, unlike my other Firefox installations, they do not show up after I have simply clicked on bookmarks on the toolbar.

Only bookmarks that are located in the Bookmarks Toolbar folder will show on the Bookmarks Toolbar. You need to move bookmarks located in other folders (Bookmarks Menu and Unsorted) to the Bookmarks Toolbar folder if you want them to appear on that toolbar.
