FSCM TCode: UKM_BP, create  BDC to Update Credit Profile

We get the following error trying to update risk class, etc. in background BDC created with the recorder, "Control Framework: Fatal error - GUI cannot be reached". Any suggestions? Thanx.

You are likely using an EnjoySAP transaction. These don't run well in the background because they heve to interface with the GUI. If there's an older version of the transaction or a BAPI, you should try that.
What is the transaction?
Sorry - I see it's UKM_BP. Is this CRM or SRM?

    Hi Raj,
Partner Profile - Defines the partner type with whom you communicate asynchronously via IDocs.
    T code used for maintanance : WE20 or BD82.
Prereqisites ,( To configure the partner profiles)
    1. Master data must be available in the system for partners.
    2. A port is created to assign in the outbound partner profiles. (already configured)
There are 6 types of partner profiles, namely
1.Logical system - used for ALE. Used particulary for data exchange. Distribution od data in R/3 or ext. systems..
    2.User
    3.Vendor
    4.Customer
    5.Bank
    6.Business partner

  • What is tcode to create a credit memo ?

What is tcode to create a credit memo ? please tell me the steps ?

    Hello,
    <b>Credit memo: Document type - G2</b>
    1.     Credit memo is generally issued in two cases - either when customer returns goods previously purchased and requires a credit or customer is credited without reference to any return of goods when goods sent to him are found to be defective and a return delivery or a repair would exceed the cost. in this case the customer is requested to scrap the material sent and is given an account credit.
    2.     Another case is when the customer is over charged for goods he purchased and we only realise that after billing.
    3.     when configuring the sales document type “credit memo request” G2 – you can automatically set a billing block that can be released by an authorised person during processing prior to billing.
    4.     It is the billing in the finance dept, which in turn is the actual creation of a credit note that is sent to the customer.
    5.     It is suggested to make the rejection reason, reference to billing document (invoice) and billing block in credit memo a mandatory field to ensure the traceability.
    6.     standard item category used is G2N; order related billing type – G2 (invoice)
    7.     Items in contracts and credit memo requests do not have schedule lines as there is no movement of material involved.
    8.     Update document flow is activated when using copy control rules for copying from an invoice to a credit memo request.

  • HT201209 Want to set up my children's IPad's with their own Apple ID.  Trying to set up yahoo accounts and it will not allow me to do this.  I wan them only to be able to purchase from rdeemed gift cards but it keeps asking me to update credit card info

Want to create Apple ID for both my children's IPad's.  Tried creating new email account for my son and it will not let me.  I want them to be only able to purchase from redeemed gift cards and everytime it asks me to update credit card info on their Ipad.

Look, I understand I still need a card attached to the account. The problem is, it won't accept my card because I only have 87 cents in my bank account right now.
If I had known there would be so much trouble with the iTunes card, I would have just put the cash in my bank account in the morning instead of buying an iTunes card (I didn't expect the banks to be open on Thanksgiving of course).
Apple will only accept cards that have a balance. The balance is so small in my account that it won't accept it as a valid card.
I'm going to have to contact Apple anyway to reset the security questions. That's obvious. Your answers were not exactly helpful. You didn't tell me anything I don't already know, but thanks for trying to be helpful.

  • HOW TO KNOW THE TCODE FOR CREATING A NEW ENTRY IN A PARTICULAR TABLE

    HI,
CAN YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE PROCEDURE TO GET THE TCODE FOR CREATING A NEW ENTITY IN A TABLE .
EG: IS THERE ANY PROCEDURE TO KNOW THAT IF I CREATE A NEW ENTITY IN MM01 IT WILL BE STORED IN TABLE MARA.
    THANKING YOU.

    Hi Venkata,
If you want to know, for a given table, which transaction/program(s) will create a new record,  there is no easy procedure, other than to refer to experts who deal with these programs.
It is possible to get a list of programs that refer to a table.  SE11, select the table, select the 'where-used' icon, select programs, execute.  You will be presented with a list of programs that read or write to that table.  From that list you would have to determine which one(s) create records, using your ABAP skills.  From those selected programs you would have to find which, if any, had a transaction assigned.
Many tables are updated by more than one program/transaction.  Many other tables are not updated by ANY interactive transaction.
If you ever decide to go ahead with this research, make sure you publish it.  You could probably make yourself a bit of money.

  • Can't Update Credit Memo

Hello, I'm having trouble updating a Credit Memo, I only want to update the comments and I always get the following error:
Invalid value [A/P Credit Memo - Reop. Man. Closed/Canc. Orders]  [Message 439-173]
The credit memo was created from scratch, so no linked documents (although those created from an invoice still present the same error). I'm currently using SAP 9.0 PL05, there has been no upgrades from a previous version. There is no code in the Transaction Notification and Post Transaction Notice Procedures. All formatted searches within the credit memo have been disabled.
I really have no idea of what's going on; it pretty much happens on any credit memo regardless of its origin.
It only happens on this particular database, on others it works fine.
Please help me if anybody's got any idea of what's the problem
    Thank you all

    Nevermind, I've found note 1638722.
To my understanding, every credit memo created after deactivating "Creating Returns/Goods Returns/Credit Notes Based on Doc", in Document Settings, will work fine.
My question now, what could I do with those created before that need to be updated??
    any ideas?

  • Create IDOC when the credit memo is generated

I want to create an IDOC.
The IDOC will be created when the credit memo is generated.
Please help me to create the segments.
    Title was edited by:
            Alvaro Tejada Galindo

    Hi
First you find the relative Idoc Type and Message type for that credit memo in the tables EDBAS and EDMSG
Then go to WE31 and create the additional segments as per your requirements apart from doing lot of other related settings
    see the doc
    Data Creation in Idoc
IDocs are text encoded documents with a rigid structure that are used to exchange data between R/3 and a foreign system. Instead of calling a program in the destination system directly, the data is first packed into an IDoc and then sent to the receiving system, where it is analyzed and properly processed. Therefore an IDoc data exchange is always an
asynchronous process. The significant difference between simple RFC-calls and IDoc data exchange is the fact, that every action performed on IDocs are protocolled by R/3 and IDocs can be reprocessed if an error occurred in one of the message steps.
While IDocs have to be understood as a data exchange protocol, EDI and ALE are typical use cases for IDocs. R/3 uses IDocs for both EDI and ALE to deliver data to the receiving system. ALE is basically the scheduling mechanism that defines when and between which partners and what kind of data will be exchanged on a regular or event triggered basis. Such a set-up is called an ALE-scenario.
IDoc is a intermediate document to exchange data between two SAP Systems.
*IDocs are structured ASCII files (or a virtual equivalent).
    *Electronic Interchange Document
*They are the file format used by SAP R/3 to exchange data with foreign systems.
*Data Is transmitted in ASCII format, i.e. human readable form
    *IDocs exchange messages
*IDocs are used like classical interface files
IDOC types are templates for specific message types depending on what is the business document, you want to exchange.
WE30 - you can create a IDOC type.
An IDOC with data, will have to be triggered by the application that is trying to send out the data.
FOr testing you can use WE19.

An IDoc is simply a data container that is used to exchange information between any two processes that can understand the syntax and semantics of the data...
1.IDOCs are stored in the database. In the SAP system, IDOCs are stored in database tables.
2.IDOCs are independent of the sending and receiving systems.
3.IDOCs are independent of the direction of data exchange.
The two available process for IDOCs are
    Outbound Process
    Inbound Process
AND There are basically two types of IDOCs.
    Basic IDOCs
Basic IDOC type defines the structure and format of the business document that is to be exchanged between two systems.
    Extended IDOCs
Extending the functionality by adding more segments to existing Basic IDOCs.
To Create Idoc we need to follow these steps:
    Create Segment ( WE31)
    Create Idoc Type ( WE30)
    Create Message Type ( WE81)
Assign Idoc Type to Message Type ( WE82)

  • HR ACTION- BDC should update both 0000 and 0001 or should not commit at al

    Hi,
I have a requirement in which a action is to be performed. Action could be terminate, hire, or anything.
Consider HIRE action, in hire action info type 0000 and 0001 should be updated.
I have recorded to save info type 0000 first and then 0001 as the pe the standard action simply using SHDB. Now the problem is when running the program for few employees it save infotype 0000 and then errors out in 0001. But in this case data is already created in 0000 and 0001 is not created.
Is there any option that will make the BDC to update both the info types 0000 and 0001 or none at all in case of error in any one?
    Thanks in advance,
    Akash

You can commit at last , i have an idea say for example you hve to do bdc for two transactions
pa20 , pa30(I am just using HR terms i am not quite familiar with it )
If i use call transaction method then i will code like as below
    if flag = x
    call t-code pa20.
    call t-code pa30.
    then
if flag = x (ie no error in bdcmsgcoll)
    commit work (at last )
    Regards

    Hi Every One ,
How i write the BDC for updating table.
I'm explaining my scenario , there is a table zstudent - it contains few fields like sno , sname , address. Previously student no.(sno's) like 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.... now i'want 1hyd,2hyd,3hyd,4hyd,5hyd,6hyd,.......... like this , and sno is not a primary key remaining all fields are same .
let me inform me , which transaction i use in call transaction.
    Please revert me.
    Regards,
    Krishna
