  • FTP adapter settings for SFTP connection

We are trying to connect an FTP adapter to a SFTP server.
After solving the license problem with Maverick/3SP class, the error we get now is:
"The Adapter Framework was unable to establish an outbound JCA connection due to the following issue: ORABPEL-11447
Error in establishing a session with SSH Server..
Unable to establish a session with the server."
Have done all steps required, set up the oc4j-ra.xml file, adding the license file to the jar, etc. The settings are as usual (following the instructions in the manual): password authentication, port 22, etc.
Taking a look at the SFTP/OpenSSH server log, we can see that OAS tries to connect, but the last log entry is "fatal: Read from socket failed: Connection reset by peer.". Of course, if we try to connect through the SFTP client from the OAS machine to the SFTP server, we can do it with no problems.
    What can we do?

Log a Service Request with Oracle. We are working with Oracle to resolve SFTP related issues as well.
    Good luck, Sjoerd

  • Sender AS2 adapter settings for Asynchronous MDN

    Hello,
I need to configure the settings for AS2 sender adapter for Asynchronous MDN.
In order to configure the asynchrounous MDN Settings which parametrs i need to fill in the channel from below
    1) Use Proxy
    2) Proxy Server
    3) Proxy Port
    4) Proxy User
    5) Proxy Password
    6) Proxy Realm
    7) Proxy Protocol
    8) Server Certificate (Keystore)
    9) Private Key for Client Authentication
    Thanks
    Srinivas

    Hi,
The MDN asynchronous mode is for the AS2 receiver adapter and not sender.
If you want to use a proxy server, then only you would need to provide the details that you have mentioned and if you are using encryption, you would need to provide the encryption certificate in the corresponding receiver agreement where the comm channel is used.
Also, for asynchronous MDN, you would need to configure a report channel (AS2 sender adapter with message protocol reports) and sender agreement. You need this even if Refer to XI system option is disabled in the AS2 receiver adapter.

  • FTP Adapter Configuration For End Of File

    Hi Team,
i'm doing DB polling and writing that contents to on file using FTP Adapter, DB poller will poll each line @ a time and writes to remote Server
in my FTP adapter usage, after writing the whole contents which i pass from my bpel,
i need to use some hardcoded values at the end of the file
    Eg.
    test1|test2|test3|test4
    test1|test2|test3|test4
    test1|test2|test3|test4
    test1|test2|test3|test4
    @@Thanks@@
Like shown above after writing some contents
i need to add @@Thanks@@ then one ENTER
    Thanks in advance

Ok, now I'm understanding you are using "Append existing file" option checked... The approach won't work with appending on...
If you know when it is the end of the file you can do something like this...
At the first line file will be like this...
    line1|line1
    Second line...
    line1|line1
    line2|line2
When you receive the third line and you know that's the last line you write firstly this...
    line1|line1
    line2|line2
    line3|line3
And then you write the @@Thanks@@ at the end using a different translation schema... Possibly a different FTP Adapter writing on the same file...
    line1|line1
    line2|line2
    line3|line3
    @@Thanks@@
However, if you don't know when you are receiving the last line and/or you need the @@Thanks@@ always there it won't work with append option... You'll possibly need a sync read FTP adapter to read the file and rewrite it again at every iteration...
    Cheers,
    Vlad

  • How to retrieve FTP connection settings for live website? [was: Dreamweaver MX question]

We have a website that is live (and hasn't been edited in 5 years), but we cannot update it because the company no longer owns the computer which had Dreamwewaver MX installed on it and thus all the settings are lost.  I downloaded Dreamweaver MX on another computer and have all of the files for the site, but don't know how to "reconnect" this to the live site.  Can someone please advise?

Once you have all your FTP info, you'll create a new, blank site in DW.
Once that is created, you connect via the Files window (little plug in icon) and choose Get (down arrow). That should prompt you with "Download entire site?" to which you should click "Yes".
That will download the entire current site from your server to your computer's HD. From there, you will simply edit the pages locally, test them in the browsers installed using Preview In Browser, and then upload to the website, overwriting the online files.
DW cannot edit files on your server directly, it's designed to work locally, then upload and overwrite files on the server.

  • How do I find settings for remembered login and passwords?

When I attempt to login to websites I am thrown into a loop which fills login and password, then puts the same information into other required dialogue boxes. I want to delete the login from  the remembered list.

    Hi,
This will vary depending on the browser you're using - for example to stop this behaviour in Internet Explorer 9, see the following.
Open windows Control Panel, open Internet Options, select the Content tab and under the sub-heading 'AutoComplete', click the Settings button.
To delete the current saved passwords etc, click 'Delete AutoComplete history...' and in the following window make sure both the boxes next to Passwords and Form data are ticked, then click Delete button.
To stop the behaviour entirely, remove the tick from the box next to 'User names and passwords on forms', then click Ok.  Click Apply and Ok in the previous window.

  • JMS adapter settings for response to dynamic queue

    Hello,
We are sending a message through JMS to SAP in a synchronous manner (client waiting for the reply after sending the request). The SAP is receiving and processing the message.
We configured the JMS Sender & Receiver channel as per solution given in SDN for the quetion. ( (2.8) Does the JMS Adapter support the JMSReplyTo feature? )
    1. In Sender communication channel, checked the "JMS Message ReplyTo Destination" attribute  of 'Adapter specific message attributes'
    2. In Receiver communication channel, added the "JMS.Message.DynamicDestination" parameter and value 'true' (without quotes for both strings) in "Set JMS Additional Parameters" table
    3. Added the "JMSReplyTo" header syntax in input xml message as below:
                        a. Message : <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
                                 <ns0:getEmployeeInfo xmlns:ns0="namespace">
                                 <employeeId>0000001</employeeId>
                                 </ns0:getEmployeeInfo>
                        b. Destination = com.someDestination
                        c. JMSReplyTo= com.someReplyQueue
We have selected Transport protocol option "Access JMS Provider Generically"
But it is not able to send the reply to replyTo destination of the message.
Wondering if there is anything in the JMS Adapter setting like reply to Destination (technical term DCJMSReplyTo) which can be set to reply queue of the message (to a dynamic destination).
Please let me know in case anybody knows about the same.
    Thanks & Regards,

◦CLIENT_ACKNOWLEDGE, in which the client acknowledges the message by calling the message's acknowledge method

  • Anonymous login in sender, reciever file adapter

    hi all xi's
i dont know what is the need of anonymous login option in sender, reciever file adapter and the other thing is if i use check anonymous login there is no option for
    specifing username,pwd,ftp server ip.
    early anser will be appreciated.
    bye.
    regards.
    seeta ram.

    Hi,
when you configure your FTP server you can opt for anonymous login.
It means anyone can log on to this server just by using the IP address.
No user creation.. so ..No need for user id or pwd. i mean no authentication.
FTP connection parameters.. i.e. server n port will always be there if you are going for FTP.
It wont ask for these if you select NFS.
Being Anonymous only removes the user id n pswd option.
Anonymous login is "Never suggested"..Pretty insecure..
Dont forget to award SDN points Seeta.

  • Grant read permission on List for Anonymous user for public facing site in Sharepoint 2013 Online

I have a public facing SP site ( SP online 2013 with Office 365 ). There are certain app parts added to it which read data from a
custom list created on that site. By default anonymous users do not have read permissions list. I want users to see the list data without login in . I tried modifying the settings for anonymous users , however I am unable to do it as the "anonymous user"
permissions cannot be checked by me.
How do I provide read permissions to anonymous users?
    Thanks in advance

once you make the web site online anonymous users get the read access to list.
You can add the list view webpart and show the details to anonymous users. In the below link i have added the announcement list view webpart to a page.

  • Failure to connect to FTP server using FTP Adapter?

Attempting to setup a SOA 11g composite app to demo the use of a FTP Adapter. Composite used a File Adapter (Read, opaque schema) wired to a mediator which was wired to a FTPAdapter (ASCII-Put, opaque schema). The routing rule in the mediator maps the File-Read opaque schema to the FTP ASCII-Put opaque schema.
In the document "+User's Guide for Technology Adapters 11g Release 1 (11.1.1)+" I followed the steps in 4.2.21 Securing Enterprise Information System Credentials to set username/password (ftpuser/oracle) for the eis/Ftp/FtpAdapter connection. This is the default JNDI name for the FTP Adapter.
For the FTP server installed Filezilla server. Configured the home directory to appropriate folder.
Installed Filezilla client to test the server using ftpuser/oracle - as the created user on the server. No problem here – can see the appropriate folders and ftp files to/from the folders.
Used a similar composite using a File Adapter-Write (opaque schema) instead of the FTPAdapter (ASCII-Put - opaque schema). This composite works with no issues. FYI – using JDev 11.1.1.1, SOA Suite 11g.
    Was not using VPN.
When placed the required file in its directory (for the File-Read) it was read but the ASCII-Put file from Filezilla server did not appear.
Based on error/fault messages seems to be a login issue. However, have no idea as to where the issue as all usernames/passwords are correct. But then - isn't that always the case?
After having worked on this for a couple of days - need some help - please.
    The following error messages appeared:

I've an ftp adapter configured to read from windows server(SOA server running on IBM AIX, filezila on Windows server). I've provided the hostname, username, password, accountname, ftpAbsolutePathBegin as /, port as 21.
    I've set listParserKey to WIN.
Still FTPAdapter is unable to read from Windows server.
I'm able to get, delete etc from ftp commands through putty.Port 21 is open.
    Any clue?

  • SOA FTP Adapter Performance Optimization

The application scenario is as below
There is a remote FTP service which receives real-time XML files (may be 2 files per second). In my SOA 11g application, I am using FTP adapter to connect to the remote FTP server. The FTP adapter polls for new files based on the file creation timestamp and after processing, deletes the files. All good so far, no issues at all.
However, there is a huge backlog in the files. How can improve or speed up the FTP adapter process to match or better the remote FTP file creation rate? Please note I am not doing much processing here, just perist the files to a database. The consuming application expects real-time file feed.
There should be some configuration in SOA FTP adapter to optimize the performance and beat the file spitting FTP monster.
    Thanks

However, the inbound FTP location receives around 30 files in a second max. How do I configure the FTP adapter to beat this rate. I looked through the document link and tried few trials
    MaxRaiseSize: 20
    SingleThreadModel: both true and false
    ThreadCount:20
However, I still cannot beat the rate at which the files are put to this location. Please what configuration changes shhould I consider.
    Thanks

Q2. Next the header.jsp for anonymous login can be changed in the /etc/opt/SUNWps/desktop/anonymous/JSPTabContainer/header.jsp however the search component is "included" as a code "searchbox.jsp". Where is this searchbox.jsp? I tried modifying all the searchbox.jsp in sampleportal directory, default directory and even my own directory created by "cp --rp" from sampleportal but still cannot see the changes reflected. Any idea?
    Please help.

    Adam,
Would you consider the SAP classes for J2SE and J2EE a good place to begin learning how to work with the CRM2007 package?  We're likely to be upgrading late this year/early next and I need to get up to speed on how to do the ISA UI work.
To this point I've just used Dreamweaver on the .jsp's and it's worked well enough if a bit cumbersome.
I've been trying to teach myself the NWDS, but need to dedicate more time to it than I've had the past couple months.

  • Regarding Anonymous Login

    Hello,
I have a installation of only the portal (no WAS or J2EE engine other than that for the portal). I need to set up the portal for anonymous login. The Secuirty guide talks of making changes to the sapnum.properties file, unfortunately I cannot locate the file in the whole installation directly (ie under the 'usr' directory and its sub-directories).
I am using EP 6.0 on MS SQL.
Could you please help me set up the portal for anonymous access?
    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Vivek

    Hello Daniel,
Thank you very much. That path showed me the file but unfortunately the portal gives a runtime error when I try to save the changes. Fortunately, there was already a login id 'Guest' which I could use. Could you tell me the exact location of the physical file?
I have one more problem. I tried to edit the index.html file in the path .../cluster/server0/apps/sap.com/irj/servlet_jsp/irj/root .
       The file had the line
    <body onload="location.replace('portal' + document.location.search)">
which I replaced to my new portal launcher page
    <body onload=location.replace('servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportalcontent!2fSRM_Team_page!2fiViews!2fanonPortalLauncher' + document.location.search)">
after restart of the portal server
but when I tried with the url
    http://<server>:<port>/irj/index.html
it shows me the logon screen and when I tried the url
    http://<server>:<port>/irj/index.html?j_user=Guest
it shows me a portal runtime exception that the portal iView is not found.
What is the mistake I am making?
    Thank you.

  • How to stop it asking for store login

I do have an store account but 9/10 times I start iTunes I don't want to log in to the store, but it always asks me twice.  Is there a way to stop this annoyance, short of using another App?

Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select
              Change Settings for Keychain "login"
In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
    From the menu bar, select
Keychain Access ▹ Preferences... ▹ First Aid
There are four checkboxes in the window that opens. Check all of them. if they're not already checked. Close the window.
    Select
Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access.
If you use iCloud Keychain, open the iCloud preference pane and uncheck the Keychain box. You'll be prompted to delete the local iCloud keychain. Confirm. Then re-check the box. Follow one of the procedures described in this support article to set up iCloud Keychain on an additional device.
