Full PAYMENT - 50% cash and 50% cheque...

Hi All
Customer paid full amount 50% by cash and 50% by cheque...
how is it reflected in SD document.
I know this scenario is a standard scenario in retail business... so IS - Retail shoud be having a solution for this...
is there a solution for this scenario in R/3 too ???
I got suggestions in the forum from some of our friends like
OBB8...OBB9... there is no such option in these T codes where we can give two modes of payment...
Kindly let me know
Points will be rewarded accordingly
Thanks in advance

  • Query to include payment status cash / cheque for payment received.

    Hi,
We would like to amend the following query such that a user can select incoming payments received in cash or by cheque, with the total value of payment made.
SELECT T1.CardCode, T1.CardName,T3.SlpName, T0.DocDate as 'Posting Date', T0.DocNum as 'AR
    Invoice Number',
T0.DocTotal as 'AR Invoice Total', T0.DocTotalFC as 'AR Invoice Total FC', T1.DocDate as
    'Payment Date',
T2.DocNum as 'Incoming Payment Number ',T2.CheckSum as 'Amount'
    FROM OINV T0 INNER JOIN ORCT T1 ON T0.ReceiptNum = T1.DocEntry INNER JOIN RCT1 T2 ON
    T1.DocNum = T2.DocNum
    Left Join OSLP T3 ON T3.SlpCode= T0.SlpCode
    where T1.DocDate >=[%0] and T1.DocDate <=[%1] ORDER BY T1.CardName
The above query retrieves only the bank tarnasctions, cash transactions are not recorded.
Please advice how can it be done?
    Regards

Try this one to get the number:
SELECT T1.CardCode, T1.CardName, T0.DocDate as 'Posting Date', T0.DocNum as 'AR Invoice Number',
T0.DocTotal as 'AR Invoice Total', T0.DocTotalFC as 'AR Invoice Total FC', T1.DocDate as 'Payment Date',
    T1.DocNum as 'Incoming Payment Number ', T1.CashSum, T1.TrsfrSum, T1.CreditSum,
T2.DueDate as 'Check Due Date' , T2.CheckNum as 'Check Number', T2.CheckSum as 'Amount', T3.SlpName
    FROM OINV T0 INNER JOIN ORCT T1 ON T0.ReceiptNum = T1.DocEntry LEFT JOIN RCT1 T2 ON T1.DocNum = T2.DocNum
    Left Join OSLP T3 ON T3.SlpCode= T0.SlpCode
    where T0.DocDate >=[%0] and T0.DocDate <=[%1]
For your 2nd question, it will be difficult to use one query for all.  You may have to create different queries to separate different payment means.

  • Invoice reference : partial and full payment

Hi experts, i'm a newbie in FIAP but i need an suggest :
So , i find that the field "Invoice Reference " in BSAK table is not filled for a residual payment when there is a partial payment and when there is a full payment.
So , if i would determinate the invoice from a record on bsak table that rappresent a residual payment or a full payment, i should use this parameter: clearing doc , company code and vendor?
    Thank you very much.
    Regards.
    Andrea

    Ok.
But on BSAK table when clear more than one invoice , i find different record with same clear document:
    Suppose that the doc: 499 clear the invoices: F1 , F2 , F3 .
    F1 -value 30
    F2 -value 35
    F3 -value 40
In the bsak table, i find this:
    doc  pos    cleardoc         value
    499   1         499        30                    rec1
    499   2         499        35                   rec2
    499   3         499        40                   rec3
    f1     1          499
    f2     1          499
    f3     1          499
So, from the record rec1 or rec2 or rec3, how can i determinate the relative invoice cleared??
    Thanks .

  • Payment Term - Cash Discount

    All,
I think that I have an easy question, but just wanted claridifcation.. I need to create a new payment term with a simple cash discount - just 2% if paid in full within 30 days and if not, no cash discount. Also, this is just for purchasing vendors.
Within configuration with the payment terms, is the following correct for what I need to do:
    Term 1. 2%   30 Days
Term 2. 0%   30 Days (note, that I would leave the percentage field blank for this second line).
At first I thought that I only needed the first line for it, but after reviewing other posts on this topic I have seen that I would probably need the two terms. However, I am unsure if I need to do anything with the Fixed Date and / or Additional Months field. Or, if what I have listed above should be correct.
If you could provide any assitance, it would be much apperciated.
    Thanks!

    Okay, thanks!
But just to clarify - the net due date is actually 30 days, and they offer a discount if we pay it within the 30 days - so basically if we pay it on time, there is a 2% discount!
So setting it up it would be:
    2%  30Days
           30days
    Correct?
    Thanks for your quick reply!

  • Calculation of change amount for cash payments via cash desk, release 602

Does anyone know how to get the change amount to calculate for cash payments via cash desk?
I am only able to enter the amount in each payment type tab and then the payment amount in the summary. The total of the individual payments must add up to the summary payment amount or I get an error.
How then if a customer wants to pay $20 towards their account and they give me $50 in cash, do I get the change of $30 to display?
Any assistance would be appreciated as the old version of cash desk had a "given" and "back" field that no longer exist.

Was not an error, just using the fields the wrong way around. So enter the amount received in the seperate tabs and the amount that is being paid to the account in the summary payment amount field. After you hit post, the change field is filled.
Is another issue though as if pay by multiple payment types, system allows you to give change greater than the amount of cash received. This should not occur as people could use this process to cash for cheques or credit card payments. Especially an issue as cheque could be returned.

  • Payment in CJIA and document in FB03, Value not matching

    ********Reposting from FI group***********
    Dear Gurus,
In a scenario where user has made a payment to vendor, a clearing document has been posted. The values are not martching in payment transaction, CJIA and the document disaplay FB03. Please find the screen shot as below:
The amount paid in FB03 TC is 11,550,730.20- and  7,945,096.92.
Whereas in CJIA report it displays 61,363,254.58- and 55,591,175.59
Kindly Note, I have already deleted and regenerated Project cash management document via programs RFFMDL16 and RFFMRP15P, but the values displays same.
I am not able to understand the values which are shown in TC CJIA.
    Kindly provide your input.
    Thanks and regards,
    Narender.

    HI Gokul,
Thanks for your reply. There are no entries in table RPSCO.
But the entries are in table COFP with BTran as KAFM and value type 57.
Regarding your questions: Another thing that i wanted to know is whether you ran CJFN for the accounting document after doing the actual payment?
Initially these values were displaying once the payment was done (VType 57). I tried to execute the correction programs considering there will be inconsistencies in table. But the values did not changed. After this values were displaying in VType 54 and hence I execute CJFN to display Vtype as 57 such as to bring the system display as initial condition.
Let me know if this helps. Further inputs awaited.
    Thanks and regards,
    Narender.

  • Create AP payment via Cash Management

    Hi all,
In EBS 12.1.3 i try to create an AP Payment via Cash Management Responsibility. But when the forms redirects me where i should create the payment - one of the field/BANK_ACCOUNT_NAME/ is populated by default with strange value. I suppose it should take the value from bank_account_name in the cash header. Instead of this it takes value for another bank/i'm unable to find the logic of taking exactly this bank account.../
    For example :
    In Cash - Bank acc name = A in Payables - B,
In Cash Bank acc name = C in Payables - D
    and so on...
Any ideas? Maybe some settings for creating AP Payments via the Cash Management responsibility?
    Thanks in advance,
    Bahchevanov.

    Hi,
Please check in SM35 if your batch input session was executed successfully.

  • Subcontracting under Full Payment of Duty

    HI
Subcontracting under Full Payment of Duty
Creation of Excise Invoice w.r.t. Transfer Posting Document (J1IS)  --
Capture Excise Invoice at the time of GR of Finished Goods (MIGO or J1IEX) 
    Post Excise Invoice (J1IEX) 
in order to process the abve prcess , pls advise what are the preequiestes???  where we need to use JEXC cond type?

    Hello,
You create a subcontracting PO. Create a Transfer Posting document for 541. This 541 doc can then be used to create an EI through J1IS.
On receiving the goods back from the subcontractor you have to use the option "Only part 1" or even no excise entry at MIGO. the reason for this is to avoid wrong updation of 543 O movement in part 1 table.
You may then update part 1 for 101 through J1I5 and then create Excise Invoice with reference to the GR document. If you see two line items one for the output and the component, you should delete the component from the incoming EI creation screen in J1IEX.

3)The excise clerk creates an outgoing excise invoice for the materials.
4)You send the materials to the subcontractor, together with the excise invoice.
5)The subcontractor processes the materials and returns them to you, together with another excise invoice.

  • Down payment through cash jour

    Hai All,
My client requires to do all postings through cash journal including down payments.
So I need to post a down payment through cash journal
Can any one suggest me on this.
    Cheers

    Hi,
The down payment is a special G/L transaction and is not supported by the cash journal.
If you need to do it, you have to post the down payment (in the cash journal) to a clearing account and from there with the special G/L indicator to the AP/AR... not a sophisticated solution!

  • Verizon posted my payment in Feb and hit the bank 2-1/2 months later!

This is unbelievable and completely unacceptable. On Feb. 21, I authorized Verizon to draft a payment of $323.61 from my bank account. Unknown to me, they never took it out. I don't always check things like that because I've never had a problem before. So over the months since, I just assumed the money was taken out.
May 2, Verizon took the money out of my account. No warning, no nothing. Over $300. I called and the representative said, "Oh wait, I think I saw an e-mail about that." After a long hold, she said that yes, there was a problem in Feb. with posted payments not being withdrawn from customers' bank accounts. She said that reps were informed that payments would hit banks on Friday May 2 and that if any of them didn't clear, they would hit them again a week later.
I'm incensed. I couldn't afford for them to take out that much money. And they did it with no courtesy call, no e-mail, no warning at all. I asked to be transferred to financial services, explained the situation, she put me on hold. Then someone else named Tiffany, who I assume is a supervisor, came on the line and said she was aware of the situation and how could she help? I said, Verizon needs to do something to make up for this. I couldn't make a rent payment because of this. Plus, I told her that I was in the middle of a payment arrangement already, and that now I couldn't make the $192.07 payment as agreed because of this. She gave the standard line of, "I sympathize, but there is nothing we can do." I asked to speak with a higher level representative. She said unfortunately there is no one else that you can speak to about this.
I'm going to rattle as many cages as I have to rattle to get some resolution on this. I understand computer glitches, but it is completely irresponsible, once Verizon knew that they had delayed drafting payments for such a long period of time (2-1/2 months), that they didn't come up with some alternative plan, such as calling/emailing customers to let them know the situation and making arrangements to break it up into a payment or two, or something. Anything but just withdrawing it with no advance notice whatsoever.
I need to hear from a Verizon representative who can do something other than saying, "I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do."

    Cannonball3804 wrote:
"Void after 60 days". Authorizations are not supposed to be that delayed.
My bank places "Void after 90 days" which still falls within the 2.5 month period.
    Cannonball3804 wrote:
Should I have noticed the funds were not withdrawn?  Yes.
    No disagreement here.
    Cannonball3804 wrote:
And don't you think some customer somewhere who tracks things better than I do would have contacted Verizon after 2 or 3 weeks and said,  hey,  you never took my payment out?
What makes you think this DIDN'T happen. Simply because you didn't catch it does not mean someone didn't. When my wife writes checks, she mentions every month if a check had not been cashed yet which she had written within the past month.
    Cannonball3804 wrote:
I bet there isn't a person reading this who has experienced such a long delay in a payment being drafted.
I actually have within the last year. Normally, I write online checks, which I did write to a charity within the past year. With online checks in my bank, the funds are still in the account, yet frozen so that they cannot be used in other ways by consumers who "don't always check things like that" so the funds will be in the account when the check is presented. After the charity did not cash the check within 90 days, the funds were released in my account and my bank would no longer accept the check for payment. My daughter routinely does odd jobs for neighbors who pay by check and has more than once had to go back to get a new check when she "forgot" to cash it within the allotted time. So yes, I am POSITIVE there are some who have experienced this type of delay before a check being presented for payment.
