Function Mod Documentation

hi all,
For the function modules : me_read_po_for_printing and me_print_po, can you read the documentation for these in your system ? My buttons are grey out for FM Documentation. Do you have it differently ?
I am trying to see if there any documentation available for these.

Login the system with language 'DE'.
Goto SE37--> Give Function Module Name --> Give 'Display' --> Select "Fbausteindokumentation' (Documentation)
Translate to English using Internet Translation Tools .In Google Language Tools are there.U use it for Translating.
Otherwise,Just use this link for Translation:
Select German to English option in the dropdown.
Put the German text in first box and click Translate then it displays English version.

Reduced Functionality Mode - Office 2013

Is it possible to force Office 2013 (volume license) into a Reduced Functionality Mode straight away without having to wait out the 30-day trial?
I have a fairly niche application with regular imaging and I'd like my default images to have read-only Office installed. Hardware that needs editing can then have a product key entered to activate and unlock.

As far as I know, currently we can't bypass the grace period of the 30-day trial, since the license information is read-only to users.
You may detail your scenario with more information, so that we can possibly provide some other suggestions.

when iam clicking the function module documentation.it is displaying message as document function module is not available in EN.How to get the documentation in EN

Hi Rao,
Click on the Function module documentation in the application toolbar of function builder, it takes you to either PC editor or Line Editor, enter the corresponding documentation there and activate and come back, now activate your FM, it should work fine.

Unimplemented function REPC_OR_DELETE DOCUMENTATION (line 0) error

When I release a transport it gets status 8, when looking in the Log Display I see the message "unimplemented function REPC_OR_DELETE DOCUMENTATION (line 0) ". All objects in the request, a table definition and a generated maintenance screen are free of errors. I've also put everything in a new request and release it then, but the same problem keeps occuring.
I can find no OSS notes on this.
Anybody had the same problem and solved it. Or any suggestions.

USB-OTG: Set fix to host- or function-mode

Hi,
is it possible in WEC2013 to decide fix, if a OSB-OTG-port is allowed to be in host- or in function-mode?
Perhaps set it fix in the registry?

Hi folks:
Here at my work, I have more than 500 functions, procedures & packages.
As part of our company procedures, every single DB Object, module, report, etc... must have a technical documentation.
It is, kind of waste of time, to write for every single piece of program or DB Object, the Technical Document.
I know, for the Java files, ther is a utility which take the comments inside the java code a generate a documentation file.
Do you know if ORACLE have something similar (an utility, plug-in or aything else) or do you know if a third-party software could do that.

KD_GET_FILENAME_ON_F4 --> Get the source of a file in the presentation server.
MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE --> Create an IDOC by code.
DB_GET_TABLE_FIELDS --> Get the fields of a table.
EDI_DOCUMENT_OPEN_FOR_READ --> Opens an EDI (IDoc) document for reading....Just for reading.
EDI_DOCUMENT_READ_LAST_STATUS --> Reads the status of an EDI (IDoc) document.....21 for Ok, 30 for error....
NUMBER_GET_NEXT --> It think this is use by SNRO transacction....

Online niScope c function api documentation

Is there a ni.com hosted web page which has the api documentation for the niScope functions?
The .html documentation which comes with the product has some broken links.

The linux driver is working, its just the links in the html documentation are broken.
For example, I tried clicking on a link in the html document web page and it
was trying to find
/usr/local/natinst/niscope/doc/html/scopeFunc.chm/NISCOPE_ATTR_VERTICAL_RANGE.HTML
and firefox cold not find that page.
I have install niscope 2.9 on my redhat ES 3 system using all the default settings for
the NI software installation procedure.

SSAS 2012 end Excel functions - mode.sngl doesn't work

Since I've used SSAS 2005 with Excel 2007 my Excel.Mode function worked fine.
Now we have migrated to SQL 2012 and we have installed Excel 2010 --> Excel.Mode is deprecated in the new version and the cube calculations that use this function won't work. The new Excel way to calculate mode is [mode.sngl] but I can't call it from cube
calculations.
I tried to replace the Excel approach with the MDX approach (link below) but the time to calculate is too slow.

as I mentioned before I've tried different approaches (see the link) but I didn't find a good MDX solution to work around this issue.
Fortunately (for me) I have a certainty. The numbers involved in my calculation can only be between 0 and 9. Impossible to have more than 9 (cautionary) delivery (measure.[Num. Consegne]) a day for a product in a shop.
So I can work around in this (unconventional and maybe optimizable) way:

Function Modules documentation.

Hello Hi,
I'm just wondering if there is any documentations about function modules?
I am looking at some ABAP codes and it is somehow calling some function modules such as FIAA_DEPR_RECALCULATE, DEPR_RECALCULATE, AM_SHOW_POST_DEPR but I'm not sure what exactly they are doing.
I know there is SE84 that i can check import / export / tables... but it's not a documentation explaining what the purpose of these function modules are. There is Documentation in the menu, but it always says "Document (function module) is not available in language EN" (I tried DE, but not working either)
May I ask where I can obtain more information about these?

Hi Mathew,
Not all function modules from SAP will have associated documentation, you will have to first check if the FM is released by SAP or not, this you can do by checking the Released on field on the attributes tab of the FM. If you have a date here, then it means it is released and it will have associated documentation, you can read this by clicking on the documentation button on the application toolbar of SE37.
For FMs that do not have documentation, and you want to know the functionality of it, sufficient comments are written in the code and these comments are in German most of the times, you might need to use Language on Google tools to translate it to English :).

How to debug a RFC function mod in background?

Hi all,
I am uploading a file thru a portal application & the output will go to a mail box. Everything happens in background.
First the portal application will call a XI devlopment & then the data processed will call a RFC fun mod and the output is going to a mailbox.
In the function modules, I am getting the errors. Since it is a protal application & it runs in backgrnd, I am unable debug the fun modules. I tried both external break point & internal breakpoints. But I am unable to debug the program.
can anyone help me how to keep external breakpoints & debug it in background?

you can do Debugging , what you need to do is need not use the login as Public . there will be another   group server .
i am sure you are using PUBLIC   in this only the front end   will work   means only   inside the sap objects will be stopped . for Portal other thigs you need to take other gropu server .
Your Basis Knows it well ....
Normally , in SAP   You will have PUBLIC ,SPACE, MESSAGE ,dialog servers.
Take the last one which will have   all facilities ,so that it will stop in the break Points which you kept.
it means the Dialog proces will take care of the screens and also takes Break Point and stops it in sap .
Reward points if it is usefull....

I am thinking of use Mod function upon 'iteration' but labview seems have
nothing there.
