Function to call spry textfield validation

Hi every body.
I've a question for you.
I'm using a filed spry text field validation. It works perfectly when y press submit, but I need to do this:
I put some text in a textfield using PHP, the validation is only maked when I click the text field, or when the user press a key, but how to make a function to do the validation after I put data on textfield.

UI Datepicker and Spry textfield Validation

Hi, I am having a problem with using the UI Date picker and Spry textfield Validation together. I have created a sample form: 2 input boxe, the test box has the datepicker and spry validation and test2 has the date picker only,one submit button and some php code that echos the boxes values on submit.
My date picker is date formated as 'yy-mm-dd' for four digit year. My spry validation is formated 'yyyy-mm-dd' with validate on submit.
Now when I click on the test input box the datepicker comes up normally and i select a date. I then select the date on test2. Once I click the submit button the test field with spry validation come back saying a value is required and nothing else happens.
I was playing around and trying other things to get it to work and I noticed that when I select the test inputbox and the calander pops up if I enter some numbers into the text box then select a date from the datepicker then enter a date in the test2 inputbox and hit submit it works.
So it appears to me that the validation is not reading anything in the test field when I just select a date. Why is that? When I select a date it shows a date in the inputbox. It makes it hard to use the datepicker on a form.
Any help would be a preciated. Code is below.

Spry textfield validation

Hi, how can I modify this code for the spry textfield validation.js file? My text field is set to yyyy-mm-dd. When I enter a date and hit the submit button all works well but, how can I modify this portion of the .js file so the date yyyy-mm-dd is not less than today's date?

Excellent, thank you, that will get me in the right
direction. Its not
100%, but I think I can tinker with an expression to get what
I want.
The number is couldn't handle is +44 (0)113 255 7666 but its
not an
approved format anyway, but lots of companies still do it
this way, so I
want to ensure I get it right.

How can I set the spry input to the following pattern that I need: only allow alphanumeric.

Spry textfield validation with custom pattern

I have sussed out the standard custom pattern, and how to
enforce it,
but what I would like to know is how can I allow any numbers,
including
spaces, brackets, or plus sign, but no letters?
This is for a phone number entry field, where it could be an
international phone number or a standard one for the UK,
where the
length can vary, depending on where you live.

Spry textfield validation (group)

I have three text fields where only one requires an entry -- any one of the three.
How would I group validate those three text fields to ensure an entry in any one of them?

Thanks here too, Arnout. That code just does not make sense to me. See note at other message to you.
This also seems a simple task for a pro. If field1 or field2 or field3 > 0 then, Spry fails to validate. Shouldn't it be as simple as pass/fail based on the three fields entries?
Again, it seems easy for a non-Javascript writer. Is there a simple solution for a tweaker like me?

Spry textfield: email

Hello All,
I'm using the email feature in the SPRY textfield validation,
but in my INTRAnet that we use, alot of our email addresses include
a '+' at the beginning. The SPRY validation rules do not allow for
this character in the textfield.
How can I allow the validator to allow the + (plus):
[email protected]
I tried to delete the " value=='+' " in the js, but it
doesn't change anything.

I have been doing some reading about the plus sign (+) and it
is really a valid character in the local part of an email address.
According to RFC2822, the local part of the email (before the @)
may contain:
* Uppercase and lowercase letters (case sensitive)
* The digits 0 through 9
* The characters ! # $ % * / ? | ^ { } ` ~ & ‘ + -
= _
* The character . provided that it is not the first or last
character in the local-part.

Spry Textfield date validation

I have a Spry textfield for a user to enter a date. I want to
limit the date entered to 31 days away from the current date. Can
anyone help me out with this or provide directions to an article to
help solve this issue?

Weblogic app server wsdl web service call with SSL Validation error = 16

Weblogic app server wsdl web service call with SSL Validation error = 16
I need to make wsdl web service call in my weblogic app server. The web service is provided by a 3rd party vendor. I keep getting error
Cannot complete the certificate chain: No trusted cert found
Certificate chain received from ws-eq.demo.xxx.com - xx.xxx.xxx.156 was not trusted causing SSL handshake failure
Validation error = 16
From the SSL debug log, I can see 3 verisign hierarchy certs are correctly loaded (see 3 lines in the log message starting with “adding as trusted cert”). But somehow after first handshake, I got error “Cannot complete the certificate chain: No trusted cert found”.
Here is how I load trustStore and keyStore in my java program:

Because my program is a weblogic app server, when I start the program, I have java command line options set as:
-Dweblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore=SSLTrust.jks
-Dweblogic.security.SSL.ignoreHostnameVerification=true
-Dweblogic.security.SSL.enforceConstraints=strong
That SSLTrust.jks is the trust certificate from our web server which sits on a different box. In our config.xml file, we also refer to the SSLTrust.jks file when we bring up the weblogic app server.
In addition, we have working logic to use some other wsdl web services from the same vendor on the same SOAP server. In the working web service call flows, we use clientgen to create client stub, and use SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter to load trustStore and keyStore, and then bind the SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to the webSerive client object and make the webservie call. For the new wsdl file, I am told to use wsimport to create client stub. In the client code created, I don’t see any way that I can bind SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to the client object, so I have to load certs by settting system pramaters. Here I attached the the wsdl file.
I have read many articles. It seems as long as I can install the verisign certs correctly to web logic server, I should have fixed the problem. Now the questions are:
1.     Do I create “cacerts” the correct order with right keeltool options?
2.     Since command line option “-Dweblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore” is used for web server jks certificate, will that cause any problem for me?
3.     Is it possible to use wsimport to generate client stub that I can bind SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to it?
4.     Do I need to put the “cacerts” to some specific weblogic directory?

I received a workaround by an internal message.
The how to guide is :
-Download the wsdl file (with bindings, not the one from ESR)
-Correct it in order that the schema corresponds to the answer (remove minOccurs or other things like this)
-Deploy the wsdl file on you a server (java web project for exemple). you can deploy on your local
-Create a new logicial destination that point to the wsdl file modified
-Change the metadata destination in your web dynpro project for the corresponding model and keep the execution desitnation as before.
Then the received data is check by the metadata logical destination but the data is retrieved from the correct server.

Function is called in Where clause

I am analyzing the script and found one function is called within the SQL statement in where clause. I like to know is there any alternate way to improve the performance.
If I move the function call prior to this select statement and update the result of function value in new column in existing table/ are in new tmp table. Will there be performance improvement
Or any other better way... Plz suggest me.

You should include the query code as well as the execution plan.
I figure out you mean your arguments in the where clause are evaluating a function and this prevents the index from being used, provoking a reduced query performance. If this is the case, then you should consider using function based indexes instead.

Function module call with destination

how can check if a function module call with destination works or not ?
How can I debug.
What can be the reason if it is not calles

Rfc function module call error

Hi Abaper,
I'm doing upgrade from 4.7 to ecc 6.0 currently and encounter problem in one of the rfc function module that we used. I've tested the connection to destination using sm59 and the connection is successful.
As an information, in the rfc setting, the target system is not Unicode system.
When I test using se37 and put the rfc destination in my function module call, I always encountered system_error exception. There's no issue with this rfc call before in 4.7 system.
Please help me on this. Thank you.

Hi,
I had the same issue in the past and solved it in the following way.
If the destination system is not Unicode please try to set the password for the communication user set in SM59 using only upper-case characters and taking into account that the password shouldn't be longer than 8 characters.

now my first question is what is the difference between function modules calling normally and in the above said way
and the second question is
under tables parameter i have four internal tables defined where as while calling the same function module using recive results i have three internal tables. is this correct?
i am asking this because i am getting an error message while using this funciton module

Call function starting new task is used to make Asynchronus RFC Call. In this case your function module will be called in a NEW SESSION and it will exceute independently from the Main program which is calling the FM. Also, the main program will continue its own processing and it will not wait for the RFC FM to complete.
Its not mandatory to have all the TABLES parameters in the RETURN Perform (..Receive results from ...)

Printing function gets called twice..!

The following is my class that prints a string array which sometimes goes into multiple pages.. The code in which i create the multiple pages is below this class.. the problem is each time i append a new page to the book the print function in the class PaintC is called twice.. so if I write some additional code inside the print function to edit the strings .. it ends up running twice and the formatting i try to do gets messed up.. !! do you guys know why this is happening..? Please help.. ive been trying to find out since a very long time..!!

Need to track Function modules called when executing a transaction

Is there a way through which i can track function modules called, while executing a Transaction. Kindly provide pointers to it.

Goto SE80 Transaction and use Program name for corresponding Transaction Use Find operation like Call Function .. then you will get list of FM ..
