Funds Management Report

Hello,
This Standard Report in the Funds Management FMRP_3FMB4004 does not show the Assigned Values & Balance amounts. I have already carried out the reconstruction of budget values. In spite of this, I'm not able to get the values in the column "Assigned Values" & Balance budget Value" in the above report.
Can somebody guide me?

You can find it via: SPRO-IMG- Public Sector Management
If you can't see it, you need to ensure that you activated it. The first step is the activation of the SAP R/3 Extension Set in the Implementation Guide. You must have the proper authorization to maintain this table (cross-client maintenance).
SPRO-IMG- Activate SAP ECC Extensions
In this table, make sure the flag IS-PS is active. Without this setting, you will not see the PSM menus or Customizing trees.
In case you do not see the menu or IMG path for Public Sector Management after the activation, please check in transaction SCPR20,
in SCPR20 you have to choose EA-PS-IMG and then to activate it (button 'Activate BC set' on the panel or F7). Then check IMG and if no impact, then check for the error messages in SCPR20:
select Goto - BC-Set - Activation logs

    My client wants to check the detailed list of documents which leads to the consumption amount per fund center and commitment item combination. In other words, whenever we run the FMAVCR01 t-code for any fund center and commitment item combination, how can we find out list of documents which given the consumed amount figure.

    Have difficulties to find FM table name. I need to link from EBAN/EBKN to Fund Mgmt table thru PR printing report.
    Currently we are in release SAP47.

  • CASH FLOW REPORT FROM FUNDS MANAGEMENT

    Hi All
      I am in the mid of BW implementation for FI and FM reports.
    As part of this i have to create CASH FLOW report..
    Currently the user using a SAP report from , Funds Management, FMEM which points to the structure IFMEISB , Cash Budget Management.
    Is there any datasource is available in FM to access this structure?
    Otherwise any body knows what are tables in FM has to be extracted for this puropes..

  • Funds Management cut over of Open PR and PO

    Hi,
    In case of cutover, we are using following link to update FM account assignment in open PR/PO.
    SPRO>Funds Management Government>Actual and Commitment Update/Integration>Internal Data Transfer to Funds Management>Supplementary Account Assignment-->Select Documents
    and
    SPRO>Funds Management Government>Actual and Commitment Update/Integration>Internal Data Transfer to Funds Management>Supplementary Account Assignment-->Convert Worklist
    1) But in this case, for open PO of which GR is not done FMRP_RW_BUDCON report is not updated after doing above mentioned process. when I make GR, commitment get updated in FMRP_RW_BUDCON report. This does not show actual status of budget consumption as budget consumption is shown at the time of GR only.
    2) If GR is already done for PO and after doing above mentioned process, if GR get reversed then Negetive commitment shows in FMRP_RW_BUDCON report and after deletion of that respected PO, commitment of PO gets zero. But negetive GR commitment remains open which leads to wrong status of budget consumption. e.g. GR of Rs 5000 is reversed. Then report shows two documents as -5000 for GR reversed and 5000 for PO commitment getting open. IF I reversed this PO then PO commitment of 5000 become zero. but GR reversing amount -5000 still remains open. So it shows less consumption of budget by Rs.5000.
    Do I am missing any process. Suggest.

    Firstly, after you convert the open commitments, you'll need to run FMAVCREINIT to reconstruct AVC. FMRP_RW_BUDCON will then reflect the converted commitments.
    Secondly, based on your posting, it seems that you do not want PO commitments (VT 51) to be counted as budget consumption. You can achieve this in the ledger 9H configuration:
    Public sector management > Funds management government > BCS > Availability control > Settings for availability control ledger > Define filter settings for commitment/actual values. You will want to exclude both value type 50 and 51 from ledger 9H. After you change the setting, you will need to run FMAVCREINIT again.

  • PSM-FM-Reversal of funds management document after change in acc.assignment

    Good day we recently went live with a component of Funds Management i.e. Availability Control on Cost centers and cost elements. We update BCS with the plan values and actual/commitment items in Finance/CO. We do our planning in CO.
    The solution is working reasonably well but we have encountered a problem for which we are unable to find a solution. The problem is best illustrated with an example;
    1. Create purchase requisition with Account Assignment Category "K" = Cost Center with transaction ME51N
    2. Account assignment = cost center and cost element. A funds management document is created upon saving of the transaction.
    3. Purchase Req. is released with a release strategy (transaction ME54N)
    4. After purchase requisition release the account assignment for the cost element is changed by the user. This occurs sometimes during the execution of the business process.
    5. When a purchase order is created with reference to this purchase requisition with transaction ME59N  the system references the original funds management document which means when the account assignment was changed the funds management document was not reversed and a new funds management document created for the changed account assignment.
    6. The BUDCON report transaction FMRP_RW_BUDCON thus displays the commitment under the incorrect commitment item as the change in account assignment is not reflected in Funds Management. We have a one to one relationship between cost elements/commitment items and cost centers/funds centers as per the derivation strategy.
    My question is;
    Is this normal standard SAP standard behavior or are we missing some configuration that will enable the creation of a new funds management document and if so where do we configure such?  I must mention our solution is completely SAP standard.

    I think u should do an entire test with TRACE on, and u will find the problem, and how to fix it (at FMDERIVE of course).
    First: Have a look at note [666322|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/666322], go to FMDERIVE and turn ON the trace.
    Then, run all the process ... from ME51N to the end...
    I agree with Eli, u must allow overwriting of existing values at FMDERIVE rule...

  • Cash management  Report

    HI all,
    My client is looking for a report in CASH MANGEMENT.
    I used the standard report (T.code FF7B,FF7A) ....but the sysytem is taking all the PO & PR values,which must be taken.
    I would like know any BAPI or User Exit or BADI or any Stand T.Code which will calculate the actual cash balance (flow).
    The req is as follows... (daywise/Weak wise/ Month wise)
    Opening bal (curency wise i.e. SAR,USD.EUR)  :
    Add : Receipt + FD maturing + Customer Payment
    Less: FD renewedVendor Payment Other Payment
    Closing Balance ( as on day/weak/month currency wise)
    Carry Forward of balnce (to next day/Weak/Month)
    Can i have any guidance for my issue.
    I  cant go for 'Z' report...as my client is expecting output form the standard report.
    Cash management has been implementated and fund management is not implementated.
    Also in future they will  implement the Fund management...
    Can you help me out ........

    To me it sounds as if you should consider to implement the SAP liquidity calculation functionality. This tool is a combination of the SAP Actual calculation module in FSCM which will collect your actual cash flows based on the direct cash flow model only. On top of this module, you set up the SAP BW reporting which can then display your opening balance - add any movements for the period selected and calculate the ending balance. In addition, by activating the SAP Integrated planning module, you will provide the customer with a module where they can enter cash flow forecasts which can then be reported together with actual cash flows in SAP BW;

  • Fund center reports Assigned values are not matching with ledger balances.

    Thanks for your Support. We have activated funds management in May-2009. And deactivated one or two times. Now the status is active.
    Now we are taking reports the assigned values are not matching with gl ledger balances.
    1. We need to update records for April- May.
    2. Records in between deactivated and activate time.
    Please suggest updating fund centers and commitments.

    Can we generate the Fund Flow report in SAP B1. Fund Flow Analysis being a Management Accounting tool, one of our SAP B1 client  is looking for this report.

  • Link between PO & FUnds Management

    How can I link a PO & FM document.
    In a given PO, menu path Environment --> AC Commitments --> In the pop-up choose Funds management.
    This shall display a screen with amounts.
    Can you please tell me how to link this FM section to a given PO.

  • Validation rule in Funds management.

    Dear Friends,
    We use commitment items to monitor the budgets with overall budget for budget type Payment budget
    In some cases, users are posting some adjustment entries to transfer the consumed budget values from one commitment item to another.
    Ex:
    Original Entry: Expenses incurred 1000, So entry booked with PK40, 123456 (expense GL), amt 1000, and commitment item ABC.
    So at a later stage they came to know that they have used a wrong commitment item for the above document.(Correct CI would have been DEF)
    So they are posting an adjustment entry like
    PK40 GL123456 amt 1000 CI DEF
    PK50 GL123456 amt 1000 CI ABC
    So when i check the funds management doc for the above doc, FM uses VALUE TYPE 66 to do the transfer postings to commitment items, since these documents are giving wrong impact on my CI overall balances report FMRP_RFFMTO31X - Overall Budget -> Totals Records .
    For the debit commitment item, it is not adding that amount in invoice column of above report, but it is comsuming the budget. So there is a mismatch in my total record for the debited commitment item.
    For the credti commitment item, it is not deducting  that amount in invoice column of above report, but it is increasing the budget. So there is a mismatch in my total record for the credited commitment item.
    (Ex: Total budget-invoices-open items = Available budget)  This is not happening at all
    So i tried to restrict these kind of postings with a validation in FM like
    Prerequisite:  BPJA_VALID-FIKRS = 'AE69'   (AE69 is my FM area)
    Check: BPJA_VALID-WRTTP  < > '66' 
    Message: Error message.
    And activated the same in SPRO->PSM->FMG->Budgeting and Avl Control (Former Budgeting)->Budgeting (Former Budgeting)->Validation rules->Activate Funds Management Validation----
    But still i am able to post those kind of documents.
    Is there any other workaround for this restriction or can only be restricted by a validation?
    Please corret me if i am wrong in validation condition expressions.

    Actually we are using a Z program, which is copied from standard program as said earlier.
    In the z program, we made some conditions to treat value type 66 also as like 54.
    Now we are getting our report as expected.

  • Fund managment exceeding the budgeted and committed items

    Dear All,
    In my client place we implement the fund management.  we create the department wise fund center and related committed items.
    For example for the Fund center Administration Expenses- Committed item is Advertising expenses.  When ever i made the payment to that particular expenses if i exceed the budgeted amount it will though error .
    Like this i am getting for the some of the fund center and commitment items. I am having department wise fund center and commitment items list of 50 under that for  25 fund center whenever i exceed the budget it shows the error message for the some of the fund centers it not showing any warning message. and also allowing to make entries so my fund center report is showing negative values. so please guide to solve this issue.

    MSL  MSL001  pb selected  proceed ++ Action 1  usage % 90
    Msl   Ms002                                              Action 3 usage % 100
    it is correct or not  pl guide to solve this issue for half of  the  fund center and commitment item when exceed the budget it is through error but for the remaining fund center is is accepting.

  • Mass Write Off - When Funds Management is active

    Hi All,
    I am working for ISU project and  we have a business requirment to do Mass Write Off. We are not able to do it as Funds Management is active.
    We had  to activate Funds management as we need to send fund related information to Peoplesoft, which is the reporting engine for the client.
    We are  encountering this error:
    Write-off over several fiscal years
    Message no. FKKFMCHK038
    Diagnosis
    You are posting a document similar to a write-off that writes off documents from several fiscal years. This is not possible with the transaction used if Funds Management is active.
    If anyone can throw some light on how to slove this, it would grealy help me.

    Hi Lalitha,
    The reason can be a commitment item with a wrong financial transaction. Therefore please check
    the relevant bank clearing account and the assigned commitment item.
    The commitment item should have financial transaction 90 in transaction FMCIA.
    In the long text of SAP note 686383 you'll find more information regarding this topic. The point 3 under limitations is very
    important for the described situation.

  • Authorization by Funds Center - Report Painter Review

    I am providing authorization for report painter review. There is the requirement to limit Funds Center for each user to review.
    I input Authorization Group in the Funds Center Master Data (FMSA). The Authorization Group coding is same as Funds Center Coding. Then I create authroization role for report painter reivew.
    The authorization object "F_FMBU_ACC" has "FM: Funds CenterAuthorization (FM_AUTHGRC)" to scope. I tried input the mentioned coding in this authotization object but the report painter still show the other funds center when execute.
    FYI: I created the authorization role and input the role to the new user id to test this authorization setup.
    How could I scope Funds Center for the authorization role?

    Hi Ton,
    First of all you have to check if you have not activated "Check Old Activities" in the customizing. Please check the following menu path in your IMG:
    PSM -> Funds Management Government -> Basic Setting -> Authorization
    check -> Activate Old authorization check.
    If you activate the old authorization objects, the following objects are  used for the authorization check:
    F_FICB_FPS  Cash budget management/Funds Management commitment item
    F_FICA_FTR  Funds Management FM account assignment
    F_FICA_CTR  Funds Management funds center
    F_FICA_WCT  Funds Management funds center internal
    F_FICA_CCT  Funds Management cross-funds center
    F_FICA_FCD  Funds Management fund
    These objects were referred to for the authorization check in Funds Management (FI-FM) up until release 46C.
    Regarding the way that you have used authorization group field, I believe you should consider the following:
    1) Use of Authorization Groups for Funds Center and/or Commitment Item.
    ==========================================================
    In case of Funds Center, within transaction code FMSC (fund center master data) is available the field 'Authorization Group', the same used  in the authorization rules.
    It is not the 'fund center' field itself, is the group that you are grouping the fund centers only for authorization purpose.
    If in the table FMFCTR for your FM Area you have the same content for all records to this field, this means that all your funds center will be  part of the SAME authorization group.
    So, you should consider within your company to divide the authorization groups according your needs and adjust your roles in transaction PFCG accordingly.
    You should either specify a list of authorized funds center in the role, or assign a specific authority group to the funds center for which you do not want to allow posting.
    2) Authorization objects
    ====================
    The authorization object related to the funds center master data is the following:
    -  F_FICA_FSG Funds Management: authorization group for the funds center
    In fact, in BCS you have to use also the authorization object 'F_FMBU_ACC'.
    There is a short documentation in SU03 for this authorization object.
    Assigning only the authorization object F_FICA_FSG could be not enough sometimes.
    Use transaction SU53, SU56, SU01 and SU24 to trace authorizations.
