Funky Forward?

Hello everyone, I'm having some troubles with my forward statement. What I'm trying to do is write some sort of site security. How I'm doing it is including a whole other jsp page that does the security checking. The problem I'm having is in that security file, if the security requirements aren't met then the control is forwarded to another jsp page instructing the user what to do..
Basically the code looks like this (without the pretty stuff)

What happens is I get a blank screen when the security measures aren't met. If they are met everything works fine and I get what I need. Any help in figuring out why this won't work would be greatly appreciated. If more code is necessary please let me know. Thanks in advance for any help.

flush should be "false".
apart from that: i would really use a Filter for this. this way you don't need in include one jsp that does the checking into all jsps, but you just configure the filter in the web.xml. and it automatically checks all requests or a specific subset of requests.

Mapping webapp URLs to a single servlet which forwards to JSP

I am using JSP for page presentation, but I want to have all requests
          intercepted by a servlet, which will perform various functions before
          forwarding to the requested JSP page. In general, I want the URL to
          reflect the target JSP page, to facilitate bookmarking. I'm using a
          web application to deploy the servlet+JSPs.
          Ideally, I wanted to have all request URLs look like a request for the
          JSP page without the .jsp extension (so
          http://hostname/webapp/here/there maps to /here/there.jsp within
          webapp). However, I can find no provision in web.xml for mapping all
          URLs without extensions to a specific servlet. I can use '/' to map
          all requests to the servlet, but then even image or HTML requests
          get intercepted (and trashed).
          On the other hand, if I map '*.jsp' to the servlet, then when I try to
          forward to the actual JSP page, the servlet gets invoked again
          recursively.
          I could create an arbitrary extension and map it to the servlet, and
          then have the servlet replace my custom extension with '.jsp' before
          forwarding, but this seems a bit funky.
          Has anyone come up with a better solution to this, within the context
          of a webapp? Seems like it should be a not-uncommon scenario.

Yes, you can! It depends on how you access the servlet. If you access it via GET method you must add a request parameter to the url to distinguish from which jsp the request comes. If you use POST method (with form submission) put a hidden field in the form and with that field you can recognize from which jsp the request comes.

Video playback stuck in fast-forward

For some odd reason, whenever I go to play back any video I've recorded in OnLocation CS5 it plays in a very strange way. It's fine for the first clip that pops up, but whenever I switch over to Source or to another clip, then everything goes south (when I switch back to the original clip, it starts having these problems too). The audio and video both start skipping constantly, and all the audio is very high pitched and fast, like the room we shot in was filled with helium or something. In other words, the video looks and sounds like it's playing in fast forward for some reason, and I can't get it back down to normal speed. (I'm beginning to think that it's skipping because the video is trying to let the timestamp catch up to where it should be relative to what's playing.) Oh, and here's the best part: the files themselves are fine. When I go into the project folder and view the files directly through a media player, they play normally. So this only happens when I try to look through them in OnLocation. The video was recorded in AVI Type 2, and was recorded direct-to-disk from OnLocation, if that helps. This was my first time using OnLocation, so maybe I did something wrong? Please, I've looked everywhere for a solution. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

To the best of my recollection, however, when the player is in that funky state, only the audio is affected; there's no stutter or fast play of the video. So you may be running into a different problem entirely, but let's start by ruling out the 12bit explanation. To check this, you can either find the setting on the camera or check the metadata in OL--just type "Audio Sample Type" in the Metadata panel's search box.

Current firmware let you fast forward through audio files w/ virtual button

I know it didn't allow you to fast forward/rewind using the virtual buttons with earlier firmware. I do that all the time on my 5.5G iPod to skip through commercials.
I think with earlier firmware that functionality worked on video, but for some reason NOT audio.
Also, if the Touch turns off, or you switch programs or something, does it "remember" what you were playing last when you go back to the audio player program? Or would I get stuck drilling through menus every single time I do something else or it switches off?

Woop woop. 7.01 skips too, but now it sounds funky

I had big problems with 7.0 skipping a lot, especially when i say moved the mouse or anything too demanding. Since I haven't been able to listen to music through my computer for a few weeks I've been looking forward to 7.0.1 release for a long time. Well I'm not disappointed, 7.0.1 skips but now it is more of a DJ loop back. Very funky. However I would rather this as an option rather than rather than default/obligatory.
For those of you who don't have this problem you can't imagine how annoying it is. Having your songs skip is worse than them not playing at all. You try and put some music on when friends come round and all of a sudden it starts having a fit. It's embarassing. Apple have clearly listened to the complaints, but they are far from fixed. These aren't stone age computers which are screwing up. For a long time Apple had this reputation of well designed hardware and software, and Apple users often laughed at those with Windows based machines claiming to be on some moral high ground. WMP may phone home and tell Microsoft everything i am playing but at least i can listen to my **** music

I have this problem too, with 7.0 and now 7.0.1.8, iTunes is an incredible resource hog. Video playback within iTunes is jumpy and slow. Audio playback goes ok if you keep the mouse still, but do anything stressful like, I dunno, move the mouse or open a word document and the system goes into convulstions.
This is because the iTunes.exe process is hogging 100% of CPU time! This helped on my system: in the Task Manager (hit Control-Alt-Delete and Task Manager), on the 'Processes' tab, find 'iTunes.exe', right click it and choose 'Set Priority' - set the priority to 'Low'
This won't stop iTunes from being slow and crappy, but at least your other programs will work without iTunes hogging all the CPU time.

CUPC 8.6 call forward to voicemail

I am using Cisco Personal Communicator (CUPC) 8.6 and also CUCM 8.6. I have CUPC in Deskphone mode, connected to a 6945 IP Phone. I also have Unity Connection where my voicemail box is hosted. When I want to setup call forward to voicemail button in cupc option, it is not working. CUPC will not handle the options I setup seconds before. If I manually put in a call forward to extension number of voice mail pilot call forwarding is working. also call forwarding to my mobile is working.
I checked End User settings, IP Phone is associated to my user, also CTI controll is enabled on device and line settings. user privileges are correct. I tried it on jabber client where it works fine. I also restarted CTI and Callmanager Services on the Servers.
Does anyone has an Idea if this is a general bug in CUPC or does anyone can tell me what the problem might be?

If at least one of these phones is set to CF to VM then it will, if not, then no.
If none of your phones is set to CF to VM CUCM will not send them to VM, that is expected, if you need to ring, phone A, and if it is not answered to go to phone B, C... and so on, and send the caller to VM after you have reached all of these then use a hunt group, (the pilot can be set to CF to VM if nobody answers), if you need to ring all phones at the same time so someone can pick this up, use a hunt group with a broadcast logic.
If this is for a single user, check 'single number reach' (SNR) or mobility on CUCM.
Bottom line, there is no way to send a caller to VM if none of the phones is set to CF to VM.

thanks for the response, but i have already tried those transactions.
FK10N will give me the periodic bal statements and NOT line items display which will also have balance carried forward.
F.41 and F.43 again gives the periodic and line items...but i want the vendor balances to be in the format given above..
like say, account statement.

How can I move an e-mail forwarded as an attachment into my inbox?

I recently migrated from MS Outlook 2003 to Thunderbird 24.4.0 for my personal e-mail because I can't afford the latest MS Outlook and wouldn't really want version 2013 anyway. Prior to the migration, any time someone sent me a personal e-mail at work, I would forward it home as an attachment and move that attachment into my inbox at home. In Thunderbird, I find that when I drag the e-mail attachment from the attachment section to the Inbox folder (the actual folder in the navigation pane or the list of e-mails in the inbox), I get the unavailable symbol (circle with slash through it). I am guessing this is not going to be something I can do in Thunderbird, but wanted to check here and see if anyone had other ways to get the same end result.
The reason I have done this historically is to preserve the original e-mail and have the mail client show me who sent it to me. Viewing the forwarded message is fine, but if I want to look for it later, I have to look for a forwarding e-mail from myself instead of the original message that was sent to me.
Beyond getting people to use my personal address (really not sure why/how they have my work one), does anyone have any advice that could make this happen? For the record, I also tried resending the e-mail to my personal address as if it were from the original sender, but that won't fly at work due to the security configuration in the Exchange server.

Save the attachment, and give it an eml extension if it doesn't have one (messages attached to TB messages are named 'Attached Message'), then drag the eml file from the Explorer folder where you saved it and drop it on a TB folder in the Folder Pane.

If your document is a PDF, you can open it in Adobe Reader and you can send the file using Adobe SendNow

In the right hand panel select 'Send Files'
Click on 'Sign In' - you will be prompeted to enter your Adobe ID and password

how to delete the number saved in CALL FORWARDING list? seems like the number cannot be deleted in CALL FORWARDING list, i tried several times...
he thing is, here are three numbers in the call forwarding list, one of them were set up by mistake, and none of them can be deleted.......it brothers me all the time. i already turn it off, but the number list is still there...

Call Forwarding is a carrier controlled feature. Most likely, the number you see could be for the Voice Mail server.
It's advised you call your mobile service provider to further assist with this feature.

Why can you NOT get a straight forward answer on upgrading to Edge?

On Saturday morning I called customer care with a SIMPLE question about how the Edge Program works. The lady I spoke with gave me information that didn't make sense and told me one of my lines could move to edge and the other could only after 6 months of on-time payments. That didn't make sense to me, how could one be eligible and not the other when the explanation of WHEN would be eligible is contingent upon 6 months payments. I was so irritated I started shopping at other carriers to see what their "Edge" like programs work like and was considering switching carriers. So, I called back and spoke with another guy to find out what my ETF's were and he informed me that I COULD upgrade both lines to a Note 4 for about $5 above what my bill is a mo. each with all of the discounts applied. I told him that I would go to a Verizon store and probably upgrade instead of cancelling. So, I went to the store and was treated TERRIBLY!! I was told that I could not move both of my lines to the edge program with the Note 4. I was told I could move to Edge with both lines but one would have to be a Droid and the other could be whatever phone I wanted. I was blown away with yet another piece of information that was not matching up with what I was told. He said I could call customer care and see if they could do anything. I was BLOWN away that a corporate Verizon store would just turn me away (which was extremely demeaning and embarrassing in front of their other customers) to call customer care again and tell me my best option would be to cancel if I wanted a new phone for the line I wanted to upgrade. So, I called customer care again and spoke with another lady who correctly informed me (I think) of how it works and stated there was nothing she could do on the line that was not eligible which should have been told in the previous conversation with the guy I spoke with. One thing struck me as odd, she said the phone is on a lease with Edge so the phone is never yours, which is something NO ONE mentioned at any point in any prior conversation. So, is that true? I now know where I stand with upgrading but my original questions about how Edge works are still not fully answered and what the last rep stated brings up other questions. If it's "leased" what happens if it's broken or lost? Anyway, I was looking for what I thought was a straight forward answer to a question about how Edge works, how much it costs, and are my lines eligible, etc. and wasted a good hour on the phone and another two driving to a store just to get turned away like as though no one even cared! The last lady I spoke with seemed to care but I'm blown away with the TERRIBLE customer service and COMPLETE lack of ownership. Why can no one take the feedback and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT and then answer my questions about the Edge program. Bottom line, I'm not looking for a freebie upgrade (though maybe I should for all of the time wasted due to incorrect/inaccurate information). but I'm blown away that no one wants to do anything.
That all being said, can someone on here explain how Edge works with the discounts and is the phone really a "leased" phone? Pretty sad that I'm resorting to forums to ask other customers how it works but would appreciate any info anyone can share. I'm probably going to port both of my numbers to AT&T if it is true they are a lease and due to all of the terrible customer service.

I just saw in another post that if it's an "early" edge I would have to turn in the phones. No one told me that either and now I wonder if just forget Edge and port out. What's the advantage of doing Edge with all this confusion and red tape? Is an early edge considered early if you're upgrading with Edge prior to the contract end on the current phone? Verizon Customer Care and Stores REALLY NEED to be up front about this stuff! From what I see here and what others are going through Edge is a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE program.

Yes there genuine apple earphones I have now blown down jack slot and silly enough I turned my phone off and now it's back on earphones working properly now feeling a wee but silly as such a simple thing got them working.

How can I forward a calendar event that I did not create?

I can't see a way to forward a calendar event, when I am not the event creator. How is this done on an iPhone or iPad?

There is an app that allows this - called Forward My Meeting. It allows you to forward any meeting in your calendar from the iPhone or iPad.

Can not forward e-mails to more than one address at a time. Just installed the latest upgrade.

Prior to the recent update I was able to add addresses to an e- mail message for forwarding by touching a letter on the keyboard. Contact list would pop up and I could select a name and I . could continue this 8 or 9 times if desired. Adding an address each time
Currently the updated system will only allow the selection of one name. What happened??
How do I get it back the way it was???
