Fuzzy Engine Using Java

Hi all. I'm trying to make a fuzzy engine for Java, and I hope you can try it. should there be any trouble/bug,please don't hesitate to ask me.thx^^
Features:
-Human-Like modelling language for rules
-Setting Fuzzy Model via XML File
-XML schema for XML file
-Ruleblock

  • How to interact with google search engine using java HTTP POST

I am trying to develop an desktop app that acts as an online radio tuner. I want to use google as an index site for actually searching for radio stations online. So I was wandering if it is possible for me to use java to actually interface with the google search engine servers. For example, I have built a gui that allows you to enter search text. This gui will connect to the web. I would like it to connect to the Google site and post the query to the google web servers. Then i would like to began to parse the response( html page) that i get back from the google servers. Like using google without actually typing in the text field on the google site. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to do this with java. If so, what would be the best way to go about doing this. Thanks.

Thanks for the response. It was actually alot easier to do than I anticipated. All I had to do was create a URL object initialized with the google url(search text embedded in the url - http://www.google.com/search?q=" + searchText + "&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF8).
    Looks like this:
    String google = http://www.google.com/search?q=" + searchText + "&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF8;
URL url = new URL(google);  // creating Google Url object
    URLConnection connection = url.openConnection();
           connection.setDoOutput(true);
connection.setRequestProperty("User-Agent", "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)" );  // fooling google servers into thinking the request is coming from a real browser
BufferedReader reader = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(connection.getInputStream()));The content returned by the google server can be accessed calling the BufferedReader class methods.

  • Error when invoking Rule Engine using Java API

    Hi,
I have implemented a Java class which calls the Rule Engine to execute the rules. If I test by setting the value of the input inside a main method and get the output, it is working fine. The ruleset is also invoked and there is no problem. However, when I expose this java class as a web service and invoke the web service, I get the below error. I dont get the error if the .rules file is not present in the loaction mentioned. I get the error when the .rules file is present in the location. Not sure if this is an issue with the java call outs or loading the dictionary.

    Hi,
I am working on an intranet search engine using java URL and Authenticator class. This is a secured web-site using SSL in http server. I am not able to access the password protected pages. Following is the code:

Below is my first test program. I first take the home page of a website (this can be automated later) and save it to "myTest.html". Then I try to see if this page contains the keywords that a company website often has.
Could you give your opinion on this approach?
If this approach is fine, then any idea about the keywords to select a company website from other sites is welcome.

    Hi Kranthi,
You have option to read a cell content as html. else you will have to go for SDK. I think you will get better suggestions, if you can explain your requirement in a little detailed manner.
refer below links for more details about SDK.

  • Using Java Access bridge (Accessibility) with oracle forms 6.0 client

I'm trying to use JAB (java Access bridge ) to capture events in oracle forms 6.0 client .
    I've a Jinitiator 1.1.8 and JRE version 1.4x
I've configured JAB as per the installation guide . However the events don't surface in Java Monkey .
Has anybody encountered similar issue ? what is the solution for the issue ??
Also on one of the forums I read Jinitiator 1.3x and above is automatically recognised by Java Access bridge .
For jinitiator version less than 1.3 manual configuration is required . however I haven;'t been able to find any on the oracle forms KB
Also here is the excerpt from the link http://www.oracle.com/us/corporate/accessibility/faqs/index.html
Q: Are there special steps for using Java-based applications with assistive technology?
A: If the Oracle application is written in Java, such as JDeveloper or Oracle Forms (runtime), customers must first install the latest version of Sun's Java Access Bridge. The Java Access Bridge provides the integration with screen readers such as JAWS or SuperNova that support Java. You just download the Access Bridge and install it. Sun's AccessBridge 2.0x recognizes Oracle's JInitiator 1.3x and above so no manual configuration steps are necessary. The Access Bridge is available from: http://java.sun.com/products/accessbridge. At the time this document was written, Access Bridge 2.0.1 is the most current publicly available production release; Oracle recommends upgrading to this version. Sun's AccessBridge is bundled with Oracle Universal Installer (OUI) and can be found in the Java Runtime Engine (JRE). More information for configuring such products is in the respective product documentation, or on http://www.oracle.com/us/corporate/accessibility/products/index.html.

  • Using Java for dynamic web page content

I've currently got a Perl program that I'd like to convert to Java. It merges two files that are stored on a web server and generates a "dynamic" HTML response.
For example, if I have the following files on the server:
    File1:
    <Comment1>This stuff</Comment1>
    <Comment2>That stuff</Comment2>
    File2:
    <HTML>
    <Comment1><br><Comment2>
    </HTML>
When I go to the URL
    www.mysite.com\cgibin\merge.pl?file1&file2
the Perl program will produce a web page saying:
    This stuff
    That stuff
The major obstical for the rewrite: NO JSP ALLOWED. It's not allowed by the ISP.
    Now for the questions:
    - Could this be done using Java?
    - How could I initiate the Java app and pass it the parameters? (applet tag, access Java inside Perl, use Java Script somehow)
    - Will an applet tag even work for this since the final page is generated completely from other files?
Thank you very much for your help.

If your ISP don't support JSP / Servlets,
1.use any server side technolgy, something like ASP.
2.Read the files and transform them as Strings (or StringBuffers).
3.Pass these Strings as parameters to the applet (if you are forced to use java technology, otherwise you can do it using ASP itself).
4.Construct the required format (content) in your applet.
Don't forget that the stuff will be in applet but not a complete web page. The ideal solution is asking your ISP to provide JSP engine.

  • Search Engine in Java

    Hi All,
I just wonder anyone can lend me a hand please. I am using Java to develop a search engine at the moment, I need to store all the words from a single html page, and I have done this, but the thing is how can I get all pages from a certain intranet? Thank you in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Ray

As per my knowledge any search engine while use the meta data of a html page first then go for the whole contents.
Ans it is always better to use google or any other searching tool instead of developing it from scratch. it is good only for practice.

  • How to upgrade Forms 11gR2 to use JAVA 7 after it was installed with JAVA 6

I recently installed Forms 11gR2 on a development server.  We are trying to have the latest versions of everything to migrate from Forms 10g and assure we have support for the next few years.
Our platform has the following software configuration:
    Solaris 10 (Update 19) SPARC 64 bits
Weblogic 11g (10.3.6) that was installed with Java JDK 1.6.0_38
Forms 11g R2 (11.1.2.1) that was also installed with
    Java JDK 1.6.0_38
I tried to install Weblogic and Forms using the latest Java 7 JDK (1.7.0_25) but I got an error in the final steps of Forms setup, when I was configuring the domain.  I searched online and found a couple of tips but nothing worked.  The installation was stuck at the
Creating Weblogic Domain step.  So I decided to try the installation process with the Java 6 JDK that we are using right now for Forms 10g, and it worked perfectly.  I have now two options but I don't know which one might be the better path:
Uninstall Weblogic and Forms 11g completely, and try to re-install them again with Java 7, trying to fix the error that I got at the end of the configuration process.
Try to upgrade the current Forms 11g installation from Java 6 to Java 7.  I found a blog that might suggest it is possible, but I don't know if it may cause additional issues along the road. http://pitss.com/us/2013/02/20/how-to-use-java-7-with-oracle-forms-11g-in-an-oracle-supported-environment/
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have, or if any of you has experience installing Forms 11gR2 with Java 7 it might be great to know how to fix this error.  It might be worth mentioning that when I installed Forms and Weblogic with Java 6 I used exactly the same values, ports, options and paths.  The error appears like this in the installation logs and the process hangs there:

Well if I got it to work with java 6 I'd leave it alone, to say the least. The elephant in the room is the certification matrix.
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/overview/index.html
there's 2 issues, what jdk does forms on the server want? Bigger question, what JRE is acceptable on the client?
You would surely want the jre to be 7 on the client. Regarding the jdk on the server, you could leave it as is IMHO.
Note that there was a patch to 11gr2. In conclusion, be sure to check the cert matrix regarding what is certified for the jdk for the server.
I think the matrices are saying that if you have forms 11.1.2.1.0 that you can use the jdk 7. but like I said the big issue is what can the client use?
As I read the matrix I think it is saying you have to have 11.1.2.1.0 to use the jre 7 on the client.
So I would say if you have 11.1.2.1.0 on the server you are good because it's not a problem to have the jdk 6 on the server, if not you have to apply the patch in order to enable the jre 7 on the client.

  • Generating XSL or XSLT   using Java

    Hi ,
I am developing a mapping tool. The tool maps the data elements of the source and destination XSD's. The GUI is being developed in Java Swings. After the mapping is performed, the tool needs to
1)Generate an XSLT for the map
2)Generate an output XML (XSLT transformation using the source XML and XSL)
I have found the solution for the second point (Done using the Xalan XSLT engine ). I am not getting an idea how to generate an XSL using Java at the first go and then also generate the XSL using the mapping details.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Bernd,
here you can find an example how to use RFC lookup from an XSLT Mapping:
